Theme park
PortAventura Park is a world-building theme park divided into five areas representing different continents, each with buildings and rides reflecting the culture of the country. The park features traditional entertainment facilities, roller coasters, rapids, 4D cinemas, and more. With over 1 million square meters of stunning landscape and 30,000 plant species, it offers a captivating experience.
Fantastic day out. Not been here since 2013, so 12 years on from then. We will be doing Ferrari Land another day before we leave the town. Since working out and becoming a bit wider in certain areas, I don’t fit on some of the rides. Due to the narrow bucket seats. Not a problem, but could do with a tester seat at some of the longer wait rides, so that the ride doesn’t get held up by not fitting in. Overall, very clean and enjoyable day.
Laura G — Google review
Nice theme park very spacious and organised. Very long queues and sometimes the rides get out off order due technical problems ( happened with us in several of them ) Food are overpriced for the quality and quantity and they charge a fee for the cup all the time . The shows are good decoration amazing area clean and organised. Worth a visit but you need to have patience for queues in every were
Happydays — Google review
Great experience for both adults and kids (8/10 y). We arrived on Saturday and stayed until Tuesday. A little bit crowded for top attractions but in 2 day we can touch them all. We had also checked at their hotel and I would strongly recommend, as you have 30min in advance exclusivity to the park in the morning before opening hours
Eu C — Google review
We, family of 4 (with an 8 and a 3 yo) were nicely surprised by this amusement park. We went in November during All Saints holidays and there was hardly any waiting time at the rides. Staff was really well made up for Halloween event, and the park was really nicely decorated. The only minor thing to improve would be to put a sign on the parking lot to remind people that it is forbidden to bring food and drinks to the park. An amazing experience to repeat longer next time!
Marie C — Google review
Super fun for all the family. There are a lot of attractions for small and big. Buy tickets in advance. There is a lot of people during the week and even more during the weekend. So you need to prepare yourself for a lot of queues to attractions or buy fast pass additionally, then you will not need to wait. Check the condition of fast pass as for example you will not be able to do one attraction every 15 min but you will need to have a 2h break. Don't forget to take sun cream as the is a lot of sun and not a lot of shadows. Food is not so good as there is a lot of people but it is eatable. Think to take a hotel in the park as there might be tickets to park and fast pass included and at the end it might be cheaper. If you will not get hotel in the park you will need to wait for the entrance to park a lot.
Magdalena — Google review
Amazing and very large park. If you want to ride all the thrill rides then you have to buy the express pass. Otherwise you have to stay in lines for hours and you will be absolutely disappointed and same goes for ferrari land. Puy the express pass before visiting because they will sell out fast even on weekdays.
Sigrit S — Google review
Too much waiting time. Why sell more tickets than there is space available for attractions? The reason is money — visitors’ comfort clearly isn’t the priority. Many queues are not shaded, and waiting under the sun quickly turns into a nightmare. On the positive side, the toilets are well-organized and clean. The shops, however, could be more reasonably priced given the high entrance fee. Overall, the park is beautiful and generally well-maintained.
Alexander M — Google review
This was a fantastic experience. There was lost of fantastic rides and areas to visit. Would suggest the 10 ticket fast pass for those on their first visit as the more popular rides can be a bit of a wait. However, there are plenty of rides for the family and not too long a queue. For them. The kids area "Seseme Street" was amazing for all not just the younger kids. Can't wait to go again.

Water & Amusement Parks
Theme park
Caribe Aquatic Park is part of the PortAventura World complex, offering a Caribbean-themed water park experience. With a wave pool, lazy river, water slides, and indoor kids' attractions, it's perfect for family fun. Set in the Costa Dorada in Catalonia, this popular tourist destination also features PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land. The park spans over 50,000 hectares with various swimming pools and attractions. It's an ideal summer day getaway for leisure and excitement.
Wonderful water park, lots of different slides for both children and adults. You can have a snack or drink cold drinks. an important point for me personally, there are lockers, you can leave your phone, money, etc., but! remember the 3-digit locker number and the 6-digit code somehow or take a marker 😂 because you are given a paper receipt, my watch saved me, where I entered the code as a note. also, an important point for photo lovers, I carried my phone in a waterproof case, know that they will not let you on the slides with a chain, with a phone, etc., you need to take pictures! you can only take your phone to a slow river or to a pool

Place to be absolutely avoided Very dirty in common areas, toilets areas as well as attractions, with serious risks of getting skin irritation as happened to me ... I unfortunately visited this park this July and it was a carnage. Uncontrolled number of people made the situatuin very caothic. Queues of a minimum of over one hour for each attraction with several blockages and slowdowns due also to the poor preparation of the young and inexperienced staff. Dirty everywhere and unpleasent discussions with other visitors standing to grab your chair or sunbed as soon you get up or, simply because insufficient in numbers compared with the uncontrolled number of people admitted. All of this at the "cheapest " price of 47 Euro ,if you cannot book online in advance for chhosing a fix date, plus 15 Euros for parking and 8 Euros for a small locker.....More than adventure an unpleasent disadventure .....

If you are staying few days around, then you must visit it along with the 2 other parks (portaventura world and ferrari land). However, if you are visiting just for one day, I would suggest just going to Portaventura world instead. We stayed at one of the portavenrura hotels nearby for 3 days to be able to discover all 3 parks (portaventura world, portaventura aquatic park and ferrari land). We spent one day in this caribe aquatic park.

I’m visiting this park every year in the last 10 years. The kids love the place . I’ve decided to give the place minimum score because it doesn’t care about the guest . 2025 is almost 2015 , very little in places shadows . The sun is killing in Spain . And the place doesn’t care about his guests health . The food . I understand it should be expensive as they do the maximum to take any penny they can . Fat food, almost nothing healthy . So above fun , take care of your guests . Put many umbrellas so people can hide from the sun, and sell healthy food.

We were absolutely delighted with our visit to the water park! Since we only had one day, we decided to purchase VIP tickets — and it turned out to be the best choice. They were worth every penny: the VIP lines were minimal, while the regular ticket lines stretched far beyond the designated areas. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy more attractions without wasting time in queues and fully immerse ourselves in the experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, everything was clean, and the staff was polite and well-organized. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially if your time is limited or if you want to spend the day in maximum comfort.

The worst aqua park I ever been, and I've been in all over the World, from Turkey, UAE to Australia... Not many slides and pools, but the worst of all is that it is too much crowded, there is 3 times more people than capacity! For every slide waiting is more than an hour, some even 2... If you want to eat, more than 1 hour waiting and count minimum 100€ for 4 persons with 1 drink. My advice, if you want to go anyway, buy extra pass and than there is 0 mins waiting.. If you enter at 11am, don't count you will get any sunbeds, it's completely full! Locker rooms also waiting time around 30 minutes and it is 8€ for small and 11€ for bigger bags! Better go once again to PortAventura World and Ferrari World.
Damir M — Google review
Came to the park just with my two kids 12 and 10 in on a Thursday in the May school holiday. Being a single parent, I was quite concerned about the logistics of keeping valuables safe while also enjoying the park with the kids. However, the lockers are quite straightforward - once paid, you get a printout with a locker allocation and a six digit pin. I managed to remember this which meant I could put everything in the locker. I would say these are good for one medium sized rucksack and a few other extras. We got to the park from the Barcelona-Salou train, that gets in a 10 and had bought tickets in advance at the train station - would recommend this or alternatively on line as there are queues for on-site ticket purchasing. The park opened at 11, and there was only a short queue once we got through the bag check zone (that is for all three parks). The water park is great and, at this time of year, it was not very busy - we easily got a lounger under the shaded area and the weather was perfect for us. The slides are great and the queues were minimal throughout the day. The green and blue Barracudas are great (green one is better) and so is El Torrente, which is a big dinghy that can hold up to four each time. Many say the lifeguards blow whistles too much but as long as you know what to do it is fine. As my sunglasses are prescription, it was slightly annoying not being able to wear them on the lazy river or Bahama Beach but I coped. Didn't try the food but had a couple of beers and ice creams. Took a large bottle of water in. In all, would say this is a great time to visit this park. I suspect that in the summer this would not get 5 stars as I expect queues would be much larger and weather too hot!
Ian A — Google review
We had fun at this water park, we got there at opening time on a Monday and it was already very busy and we had to queue for lockers (expensive!). If we were to go again we maybe wouldn't bother with a locker and would leave our things on a sunbed instead as most people seemed to be doing. We had to queue for some slides but we didn't think it was too bad. We spent all day there and went on all of the slides we wanted to and some twice. I do think there must be a more efficient system for the rings though, having to queue to get one then queue again for the slide wasn't ideal. The food was okay, they had veggie hotdogs which were good. You get a reusable cup if you buy a drink. There's no photographers so you won't get a souvenir photo.

La Goleta Salou Restaurant is a classic establishment that has been serving exquisite Mediterranean cuisine for 25 years. Situated on the beach with stunning views of Cala Capellans, this maritime-themed restaurant offers elegantly prepared seafood, grilled meats, and paella. The modern space features large windows overlooking the sea, creating an exceptional dining experience. Visitors praise the top-notch service and high-quality dishes, making it a must-visit destination in Salou.
We ate here on our first night staying in Salou by recommendation by staff at 4R Salou Park. La Gomera Demo started attentive service and lovely food. Staff bought out a whole sea bass and lobsters for us to view before choosing to eat. Our kids were accommodated as well, considering this place strikes us as a more upmarket place to eat. Interactions with staff at the restaurant were pleasant and with management on socials were very efficient and impressive and showed they care. Would recommend (if you like this type of food of course).

Arrived for lunch without reservation and we were very well looked after. The staff are very good and know their craft well. Wine recommendation was spot on! The food was presented very well and cooked even better. The views make the whole experience worth it. This restaurant is priced slightly above other restaurants but the quality of the food and staff justify it.
Nathan R — Google review
rude (race based) waiters. seated us in the far corner of the restaurant (though many tables were free), asked us to order drinks without providing drinks menu, kept our table full of unnecessary cutlery/wine glasses (though we saw them removing it from other customer tables), were not smiling/friendly (in comparison to other customers). you can clearly say that they preferred locals over tourists. food was great though and the view is good. ah, they also miscalculated and added extra items to our bill. make sure you double check your bill!

Lovely, clean, spacious park. Good selection of kids rides which my Son enjoyed, queues were short too so very little wait time for them. The star of the show is of course Red Force! I loved that there was a viewing area to sit and watch it whizz by. Worth a visit.

Amazing theme park one of a kind. Very spacious clean and organised. Get ready for long queues depends the days and times but worth the wait. Gates just open 16:30 and close late time enough to enjoy all the rides Me and my family enjoy a lot here... I would recommend a visit definitely
Happydays — Google review
I think most people will be visiting Ferrari Land purely for "The Red one", other than this ride we only went on 3 others as the park was only open 1700-2200. The Red one was great....the others not so much. But please near in mind we are seasoned Theme park visitors.....had we never had be on "soaring" we maybe would have appreciated "Flying dream" however with a 1hr 45 min wait we didn't. Racing legends seemed to be operating at Limited capacity and the "water jets" weren't working. We entered the park from Portaventura as hotel guests and queued for 30 mins, we then went straight to "The Red one" and queued for around 30 mins. The queues after that were over 2 hours. We ate at "Pit stop" the food was as expected for pizza, chips etc however the service was extremely slow. If you are willing to pay entry for 1 ride then its a good ride, generally the park isn't thay great, small and gift shops are crazy expensive.
Jo F — Google review
Amazing experience, would need a couple of days to do all rides as times were avg 1.5hrs. Museum had lots of interesting facts. Photo opportunities for all the family, in a road car and f1 car. If time isn’t on your side, pay for the fast track/express tickets and you can’t go wrong with those. If you like Ferrari heritage and fast rides, Red Force is the main attraction for that.
Laura G — Google review
Absolutely adore this place. Bought the 3 day 3 park tickets. Bought fast passes for the 5 ride pack and it was so good. The Ferrari ride is amazing. I went on it twice and was gutted I had to leave. Highly recommend this park. If you’re scared of rides or feel uneasy going on the red force ride GO ON IT!!!! You won’t regret it and it’s unbelievable.
Lily W — Google review
If you are a F1 Ferrari team fan you will love this place! To see a real racing car, experience of driving a simulation of F1 race or adrenalin rush in a Red Force rollercoster is a lifetime memory! Even the children can ride in small cars and also try F1 simulator. Everything is amazing wherever you look. Highly recommended to any F1 fan.
Aleksandra — Google review
A very nice destination for car enthusiasts , Ferrari’s all over the place! The Gallery is awesome, the store is modest the rollercoaster is wonderful. The Enzo Ferrari 3d video and simulator is unbelievable! They needed to add serious toys for big boys like me such as having a test drive with instructor on the circuit.
Sam H — Google review
Not worth the money! There are only a couple of rides interesting for adults, the queues are unreal, the express pass is expensive (€38) and only allows you to ride the 5 main attractions once. There are no special privileges for the express pass inside the attractions either; for example, in Flying Dreams, they seated us right at the edge, where the image distortion is the worst, and we were the first to enter the hall. The Maranello Grand Race is a dull, slow, dark, and uncomfortable experience.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the serving staff and kitchen. It was a uniquely good experience and we would certainly recommend it.

This was an absolutely outstanding experience! ✨ From the very moment we walked in, it was clear that every detail here is carefully thought through. The atmosphere is calm, stylish, and full of taste and respect for every guest. The staff deserves special praise — incredibly professional, attentive, and creating a sense of comfort and care. Each dish was beautifully explained, and the presentation came with a story and emotion. This is exactly how a fine dining experience should feel! As for the cuisine — this is not just food, it is true art. Bold combinations, harmony of flavors, and perfect balance in every detail. At times, it felt like the chef was working as an artist, creating culinary masterpieces that leave a lasting impression. The desserts were a true highlight. They weren’t just a sweet ending to the dinner, but an entire journey of flavors. Delicate textures, refined pairings, and a perfect balance of sweetness and lightness — each creation placed a vivid gastronomic exclamation mark that stayed with us long after. A special mention goes to the wine tasting set: the selection was perfectly matched to each dish. Every wine unfolded in a new way alongside the cuisine, creating a unique symphony of flavors. This restaurant is not for a quick bite. It is a destination for impressions, atmosphere, and unforgettable gastronomic discoveries. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We left full of gratitude and with a strong desire to return again.

unbelievable experience, second time my wife and I have ate hear and this time was even better than the first. The chef was out front for the major part of the meal, bringing our wine and explaining in great detail where they were from and the importance they brought to the dish, it was like having our own personal celebrity chef waiting on us . We have ate in quite a few places like this but this has to be up there with the best . Highly recommended

Overrated, interesting experience with the storylines but the food is just OK nothing spectacular, the quality itself of ingredients and so on is not there. Never had such horrible oysters, same for the foie gras...the wine pairing was mediocre. Waiters did their best, the chef had an arrogant attitude. All in all would avoid, doesnt compare to other Michelin Star restaurants I have been to.

Salou isn't the most obvious location for a Michelin-starred restaurant, particularly one as eccentric as Deliranto turned out to be. So, when we were booking our recent holiday to the Catalan resort and discovered that this restaurant existed we were delighted to be able to book a visit. In these Covid-infested times we had no idea how the experience would turn out. We need not have worried. Upon our arrival it was clear that some things were a little bit different because of Covid. Our first stop was the hand sanitiser station for example. Though we didn't have to wear masks, all the serving staff did, and the tables were very well spaced out to allow social distancing. These were all small prices to pay however for the experience that awaited us. Menus at Deliranto are based around a story, and during our visit it was the fable of Orpheus, and how he, Neo and Trinity freed humanity from The Matr....oh, sorry, Orpheus. Anyway, the whole menu was based around this theme, including some of the utensils (plates just doesn't do them justice) on which the various courses are served on. There were two menus to choose from, of which we opted for the long. It's hard to say exactly how many courses this actually contained because there was so much food it all became a blur. There were also a choice of two wine flights, of which we plumped for the smaller, which contained five glasses. This differed from wine flights I've had before in a couple of ways: Firstly, if you finished your glass the waiter topped it up for you. Secondly, we were given the choice between red and white wines on a couple of occasions. Each of the wines were delicious, many of them local and with the aperitif before our meal and the sake served with one of the courses there was plenty enough to be going along with! So, on to the food. There was a lot of food. It was very good food, ranging from good to great to exceptional. Starting with olives which weren't olives but were actually ricotta and jalapeno and tomato and balsamic spheres respectively. Ending with a refreshing lychee dessert and taking in all manners of wonders in between. A book containing delicious soups. A treasure chest of the most perfect squid I've ever tasted. A cube of curried lamb. A 'carbonara' with ribbons of daikon instead of pasta. Wagyu beef with a coffee sphere served on a boat with a mini souffle. A quenelle of beef tartare designed to be split in two and made into DIY beef wellington and steak tartare. A cube of lamb with curry sauce. A dessert of rose and pistachio. On and on it went. I could barely manage the last slab of 'fish of the day' and forwent an after dinner coffee as I didn't think I could manage the petit fours. They served us them anyway. With the menu being in Spanish and Google Translate being of limited use (what, exactly is 'Pig and Pig of Pig?) it was often hard to know how far we'd actually got. Service was excellent throughout. Our main waitress and sommelier both did a fantastic job explaining the food, wines and stories, in spite of the language barrier and wearing muffling face masks. At one point everyone ate the same dish, accompanied by a speech from one of the waiters and playing of the Can Can, which is from the Offenbach opera of Orpheus. Bonkers. This wasn't just a meal, it was a story, a performance. It wasn't a cheap one but it was certainly memorable and I'd urge anyone who likes fine dining and is in Salou to give it a whirl. You won't regret it and you'll never, ever forget it.

For my birthday, I had the pleasure of dining at Deliranto. This wasn't my first Michelin-starred restaurant, but it was undoubtedly the best. The food was exceptional, but what truly set Deliranto apart was the immersive experience. Every small detail was meticulously thought through, making each moment memorable. From the artistic presentation to the story-driven tasting menu, immense care and creativity were evident in every aspect. Deliranto isn’t just a meal—it’s a journey of culinary excellence and sensory delight

Exceptional experience! Our first Michelin starred restaurant, and what a journey!! Everything from the food to the staff was awesome. The quality of the food is, obviously, pretty up. But the kindness of the waiter/waitress is above everything I have ever seen. Not too present, not too distant, just what you need to have a comfortable experience without having someone behind your back everytime you pick your fork. We had the regular menu (130€), not the extended (160€), and we were more than full at the end of it lol. We had 13 or 15 dishes, on a 2h30 time-line. Add to that the 5 wines' glasses (55€) according to the food coming. You definitely pay for what you get, and you get A LOT! 😄 A huge thank you to all the team, chef and everyone there working in this restaurant. Bravo 👏

We had dinner in this restaurant last Saturday and we had a great time. The food was very good and delicious. We had snails, mussels, goat cheese salad, tuna tartar and salmon starter. The main courses were super as we have had Paella with crawfish and clams, suckling pig, lamb and beautiful cooked monkfish. The wine list was very good and the pricing was fantastic. The service was good. I wish they would have done better wine service but we were a table of 18 guest and I understand that it is a bit difficult with so many people. The ambience of this restaurant was super and we will definitely come back. Thanks.

Very nice restaurant, well decorated , great service and great food , with good prices. Good wine seleccion, the desserts were house made and delicious, the food comes in big portions and bery tasty. We tried the tartar's , the octopus , and the rice , all goods.

Both food and service were top notch. Every single dish we ordered was beautiful but the real standouts were the pig cheek and the shallot ham and vegetable pastry dish. Even more amazing to us, visiting Spain from Ireland, was how accepting and welcoming everyone was of our 1 year old son. The staff played with him and really made us feel so welcome as a family. We will definitely be back

They offer a variety of delicious and healthy options, including tapas dishes such as patatas bravas and Spanish tortilla. Their menu also caters to vegetarians, with an array of tasty choices available. Soma Bistro is famous for their incredible pizza, which many consider to be the best in town.
Awesome for vegans and gluten free. The staff are really friendly and will help if you have any dietary requests, they also will speak English if needed. The prices are well worth it in my experience, I did not have a bad meal after eating here several times. Definitely recommended, especially for anyone looking for vegan, halal or gluten free food in the area.

THE place to eat in La Pineda! If you're looking for delicious vegan food, this is the spot. It's actually the only place around here with such a wide variety of vegan and gluten-free options – a true gem! The food is amazing, and the staff are incredibly friendly and patient – especially when your kids take a while to decide what they want (we've all been there 😅). There are so many different vegan dishes to choose from! So far, my favorite has been the Vegan Pulled, but the pizzas look incredible too – definitely next on my list. We’re planning to eat here throughout our entire stay in La Pineda. Highly recommended!

Water & Amusement Parks
Aquopolis Costa Daurada in La Pineda Salou is a thrilling aquatic amusement park offering an array of attractions for the whole family. From giant water slides to swimming pools and marine life shows, there's something for everyone. The park also features chill-out areas where you can relax and rent loungers or floats. With its numerous restaurants, kiosks, and shops, Aquopolis Costa Daurada promises a fun-filled day out.
We all had a great time here! Myself and my partner came with our three kids (10, 7 and 2) all had a great time (contrary to my daughters face in the photo) The thing that makes me most nervous about waterparks/theme parks is the queue with children as it can really effect the day. No queue to get in and the maximum we waited was 3-4 minutes to get on a ride so it was perfect. Good mixture of slow rides for everyone and a couple of bigger/faster slides for more thrill seeking people. A few of the food places where shut down so that was limited but we went on a weekday and we went out of peak times so that was to be expected. 100% you need to get discount tickets from a local shop/hotel - they all have them! its not cheap and everywhere you go they are giving away free discounts for 25% each ticket so get them!

I have been visiting Spain for over six years with my family during our summer holidays, and one of the highlights of our trips has always been Aquopolis Costa Daurada. We have always looked forward to coming here, and it has brought us a lot of joy over the years. However, I’ve noticed that the infrastructure and attractions have remained largely unchanged during this time. While the park still offers enjoyable experiences, it feels like there has been little development or innovation in terms of services, facilities, or new attractions. To keep up with modern expectations and continue attracting loyal and new visitors alike, I believe it would be beneficial to consider some updates or improvements. Whether it’s renovating existing areas, adding new features, enhancing customer service, or improving guest comfort—any steps toward development would make a big difference. We truly appreciate the memories we’ve made at Aquopolis Costa Daurada, and we hope to see the park evolve in a positive way in the years to come.

Clean ! This was my first impression, the water was clean not smelling like chlorine, no stinging in eyes 👀 . It’s a bit of a queue on some attractions but the staff is managing it pretty quick . The kids zone if you are with a small child is a bit crouded (normal) , even if your little one cannot swim there are free life-jackets.

Good day out, found this park very well suited for children all ages and adults. Recommend you get there for opening time as it gets a bit busier a couple of hours in. There are ticket deals to be had some with your holiday package and others some with McDonald's buy one get one free we where told this by another family. The price for a family of four we paid around €85. Sun beds you do have to pay i believe this was €7 each. You dont have to have one qe seen many people put a towel on the grass and there was plenty of shade. There are lockers on site wich are chargeable but we didn't use and didn't see we need to so im not sure how much these where. One of the noticeable things we noted there was plenty of lifeguards wich is really important we feel especially with small children. The rides the ones we went on was very good and a good verity, I would recommend do the volcano and black hole early as the ques for these do increase as the day goes on. If you want to maximise your slides I'd recommend a fast pass as these people didn't have to wait 3 to 5 minutes to what we saw. The smaller pool and slides are very good for young ages from baby to 10 years, there is plenty to do in for all. The waiting areas when queuing are well shaded. The food and drink we had was reasonably priced for a theme park. Belived we paid about €8 for a hot dog and it was a about a foot long. There was plenty of choice of fast food, ice cream and drinks. We took our own snacks and drinks in, no one questioned this and we seen plenty of others do the same. Signs and map was clear, plenty of toilets near by. All in all would recommend this place and found it less than half price of there competition near by. You can buy tickets on site or online. The que for buying tickets on site took us about 10 minutes and the staff spoke multiple languages. There are some individual rides and some family rides so all can go together wich is rather nice. Easy walkable from front of La Pinda, there are taxis that can go from out side and prices on the board. The bus stop is near by on the main road. Near by there are some restaurants and some local shops.
Dan L — Google review
This is the best aquatic park of the country for us. We have bene fer almost 6 years and we never get tired of it. This is the last test and the mantainance is not as good as other years. But the security is still perfect. Sad to say that it is the last day we go there, because it will be closed.
Laia S — Google review
A super place to bring the family. But the queues are long (unless you pay for an extortionate speedy pass), and over the years instead of there being new things, there are actually less things to do. A wee revamp and a new slide or two would help. Food seems pricey but the portions we got were good size leaving everyone full.
Gareth H — Google review
Great waterpark, good selection of rides. I got a discount for booking online but didn't realise you had to pay for sunbeds etc. worth while just putting towels on the grassy areas for the amount we used them and next time we would definitely take food into the park for lunch. There was a lot of queueing as you queue for the rings to sit on then you queue again for the slide. Overall we had a great day and really enjoyed it and would definitely go back.
Lauren R — Google review
Great day and fun slides. The slides had an average waiting time of 1h which was really long Some slides randomly took brakes and nobody cared to tell us the reason or how long the brake would take. I’d recommend this park but only when there aren’t that many people. We had a promo code online but you can perfectly buy tickets at entry since there weren’t that many people waiting there (arrived at 11:30). To get on the parking and to buy a parking ticket took really long (I’d advise a different system)

Rice restaurant
DORADO is a well-established restaurant located across from the beach, known for its expertise in rice-based dishes such as paellas. With a history spanning over 50 years, DORADO also offers a wide range of fish and seafood specialties. The restaurant provides an engaging experience for children with water tanks showcasing lobsters and oysters. In addition to their fish options, DORADO serves excellent meat dishes for those who prefer alternatives.
Great spot to eat in La Pineda, very authentic with a superb wine list and excellent choice of Paellas. Lovely views over the beach and lots of Spanish families eating here. They give you little plates of fried shrimp while you’re waiting to order - a cut above many of the other eateries in the area.
Jonathan E — Google review
For our first night in La Pineda we thought it a pretty safe bet to go to the busiest restaurant we saw, and we weren’t disappointed! Sea view table, friendly staff, delicious paella and complimentary mini shrimp and super warm fresh bread. The hake marinara however was a little underwhelming - the fish itself was lovely but the sauce rather boring. A little expensive in comparison to some of the other restaurants of similar quality, but worth it for the service and view/atmosphere. And generous paella portions!
Elly H — Google review
We came to the restaurant with high hopes, drawn in by its reputation for delicious seafood dishes. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we anticipated. We ordered the seafood paella with extra seafood, which came at a higher price. When the dish arrived, it looked promising—but the taste was a complete disaster. The seafood was simply inedible, with an overwhelming muddy flavor that ruined the entire meal. It was clear that the ingredients were of very poor quality, and after just a few bites, our appetite was completely gone. While the service and ambiance were decent, it’s hard to enjoy the atmosphere when the food is this bad. To make matters worse, a man—possibly the owner—was seated nearby, watching every move we made, which made it impossible to relax. We did inform the waiter about the poor quality of the food, and all we were offered was a limoncello. Sadly, that didn’t make up for the fact that we left hungry and disappointed. Overall, we do not recommend this restaurant. The food-to-price ratio is a tragedy, and no amount of decent service can make up for an inedible meal.

We visited on a Saturday evening and ordered Salmon Al Cava & a Grilled entrecôte steak. The entrecôte was very nice, good size and well presented. The salmon was also well presented but tasted of nothing and squeaked against your teeth, it was not good and as it was €25 I had no choice but to send it back. The waiters were nice about it and allowed me to order something else so I had the carbonara which was nice and good value. The environment is nice, not overcrowded, nice music playing and waiters were friendly. Did also forget to open my beer bottle when serving it. We also got complementary prawns which was a nice touch. I think some of the items on the menu are much too overpriced but since the service was good and they were able to rectify the issue I still left happy and would say it’s satisfactory place to visit.

A lively, big and popular place to eat at a busy location in La Pineda. They have a lot of dishes to choose from. We had a very nice paella, wel prepared and more than enough. Friendly waiters. They work a lot with young staff or holiday workers but they did well. Some details could be better like more tissues, cleaner glasses and cleaner toilets.
Arne J — Google review
We've been to the restaurant several times, the paella and sangria are very tasty. But the service is terrible. When we came last time, we were asked at the entrance if we could come in just for drinks, the waiter walked around asking someone for a long time, but they still gave us a table. When another waitress came, hearing only drinks in the order, she grimaced, not hiding her displeasure at all. It was very uncomfortable to be there. Unfortunately, we won't come here again.
Наталія М — Google review
Having lived in the area for nearly two years now we have always wanted to dine here as it purports to be a fairly decent arroceria. It has an extensive range of the different types of paellas, so there’s something for everyone. We ordered the valenciana (sausage/chicken/rabbit) for three. We’re not huge eaters so we just shared pan con tomate at our ‘primera’ and also we heard the Paellas were large portioned. One other observation from the menu is that the wine selection is huge with some priced as high at €1700! The rice was very good but the meats were quite poor. That said I’ve always been critical of why paellas are held in such high regard. Give me a high end risotto every time. Service was decent for a Spanish restaurant (table service is not Spain’s forte).

The WATERFRONT gastropub comes highly recommended for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional customer service. The team, led by Josie (pronounced Hosie), is both friendly and accommodating. Marie, who is fluent in Spanish, offers a wealth of knowledge and assistance. Alex and Cristina are not only efficient but also enjoyable to interact with. Even the unnamed lady behind the bar exudes friendliness. The food at The WATERFRONT is delightful, matched by the staff's excellent service.
Visited today as we were looking for something to eat that doesn't have a shell or scales... and we were welcomed straight away and offered a place inside as we are traveling with 4 kids. They have loads of seating and air conditioning aswell which is a big bonus in 30 degree heat. The menu for food and drinks was amazing. Once we ordered the food arrived very quickly and was delicious. Krispy kraken burger was huge, chilli fries were also very nice. Kids portions were generous. Also staff very welcoming to the British and speak English very well. Over all if your looking for something that isn't sea food this is a good shout. 10/10

We are staying at a nearby resort, so this was a convenient spot to stop in. Over the course of the week, we've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. The service was excellent and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy a pint and watch sports, this is definitely the place. They have multiple TVs streaming live sports and they are happy to accommodate requests for specific games. If sports isn't your thing, no worries, it's not loud and you can absolutely enjoy a meal without being bombarded by it. Let's talk food. The portion sizes are big and we never left hungry. In fact, most were larger than expected. The prices are very reasonable considering the location. In order of favorites from the menu, our top pick was definitely the Spice Bag. It's not something we've had before, but it sounded interesting so we gave it a try. Wow! Absolutely delicious! 5/5, would recommend this dish. Our 2nd favorite was the burger. Good sized patty, fresh veggies, and cooked through (which is a rarity in Spain). Nothing unique about it, but maybe that's what made it so enjoyable. It was exactly what you'd expect and stayed true to the standard. Sometimes the classic is exactly what you need. Next up, the Breakfast Fry. I ordered the large and it was way more food than I could eat. Great option for a big appetite or to share. For an average appetite, the small is more than enough. Eggs were perfectly cooked and I really enjoyed the hash browns which are hard to find in Spain, so that was a real treat. My one complaint is that the tomato was a whole tomato from a can. Wrong in both flavor and texture in my opinion. Would have certainly preferred a fresh tomato thrown on the grill. 4th place is a toss up between the Fish and Chips, the 1/2 rack of ribs, and the Cottage Pie. All three were good, but some had elements that we weren't expecting. The fish was well cooked and the batter was light and crispy. Overall a lovely dish, but do be aware that it is battered and fried with skin on (one side). I know that's quite common in Spain, but fish skin is one of the few things I just refuse to eat. On grilled fish, I can easily work around it. In order to remove the skin here, I lost 1/2 the batter which was disappointing because aside from the skin, it was a well executed dish.I realize this is a personal preference so I don't fault the restaurant, just making it known in case others reading this have the same aversion. The cottage pie was delicious, but slightly different than any we have had in the past. It tasted as though they used a bolognese sauce which gave it a bit of a tangy flavor. Again, we enjoyed it, but it wasn't the traditional flavor we are accustomed to. The ribs were good and well cooked. They fell right off the bone and the sauce was just the right amount of sweet. The 1/2 rack is a sollid choice for a light meal or a big snack. As Irish Pubs go, this provides everything you would be looking for. Obviously good as we went back repeatedly. All in all, a great place. Have a pint and get the Spice Bag for sure!

Lovely people and food. Great place to eat and the food was delicious. We had a half chicken and chips a kebab and a few cocktails all extremely good value and delicious.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. The salad was completely soaked in balsamic vinegar, to the point where it was inedible. The burger, most likely due to the meat, had an unpleasant taste and neither of us could eat more than a bite or two. It was truly a huge letdown. I wouldn’t recommend these two dishes to anyone - though it’s possible that other items on the menu are better…

Amazing food, we had pizza and it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had recently. Amazing toppings. The drinks were really nice too and very reasonably priced, Sangria’s with lots of fruit and an overflowing delicious strawberry daiquiri The hostess was really nice and accommodating too, made us feel welcome. Very friendly without being pushy. The location is really close to the beach with really nice views out to sea. Would 100% recommend and would come again if I visit La Pineda / Salou again.

Aquum Spa & Wellness is a 4000 m facility that offers a unique approach to well-being and relaxation, drawing inspiration from the ocean's serenity and tranquility. It aims to promote health and harmony by harnessing the benefits of the marine environment. The spa provides three distinct options - Aquum Spa, Aquum Club, and Aquum Wellness - which complement each other perfectly to cater to various needs.
I think this is a really nice way to spend a couple of hours of your holiday! When you arrive it just looks like a big pool but there are more things upstairs such as a relaxation room with heated loungers, plunge pool, various experience rooms at different temperatures with scents, etc. The place is pretty substantial. You do have to wear a swim cap, and we weren't told this when booking in so had to waddle back in shame after being told off in the main area. The lunch provided was pretty nice, although none of the staff spoke English. Not really an issue but made ordering a bit of a trial, I wanted the veggie burger but with cheese and egg on and she couldn't understand what I wanted so just had to have it as it came. We had the Fiji massage and I have to say that it was one of the nicest massages I've ever had. The lady doing it had the perfect gentle or firm touch at just the right moments, and the Margherita cocktail served after was very tasty. I could have sat in that room having the same treatment for easily 4x longer than it actually lasted, it was that good.
Amy V — Google review
The cleanliness is below par. Mud stains (or at least I hope that these were) were all over the changing rooms and the wet area. When I told the cleaning lady, she used her mop to wipe the stain after which she proceeded to wipe the floor in all other changing rooms and the wet areas with that same mop without rinsing or cleaning it first! Basically spreading it all over the wet area where people walk with bare feet. In the shower area there were balls of hair all over the floor as well. Never seen such dirty floors in a pool!

I stayed at the hotel and visited the spa, and I have to say I totally recommend it. I had a deep facial cleansing and it was amazing — they used ultrasound technology, and the girl who did it did a great job. My mum had a full body massage and she was very happy with it. The spa gets a 10 out of 10 from us! Shirley.

Had 2 facial treatments whilst visiting on holiday. My therapist for both was Alba and she provided a wonderful, calming, relaxing facial treatment, my skin looks and feels amazing, thank you. My partner had 2 full body massages and both therapists were amazing, he felt so relaxed and invigorated. The staff there are lovely and the environment is beautiful. Would highly recommend!

Alva provided amazing service while I was getting a treatment . Hope to come visit again!
Sam G — Google review
Very relaxing nice place to go, we got the club pass which I highly highly recommend, bit pricier but so much better than the standard. The standard is nice but it’s pretty much just a big pool with water features and a sauna. The club had some amazing and unique features. From the ice pool, the sensory room and the jacuzzi pool. Worth a trip but definitely go for club if you want a true spa experience. The tea and coffee facilities were very lacklustre. Could’ve at least added milk? We loved it such a nice way to spend a day on your holiday. Worth mentioning it was very very quiet and even though we went at peak time on a Saturday afternoon it was very quiet.
Ellie C — Google review
My review is only about the massage. I was so looking forward to my 60-euro full-body massage at Aquua Spa, but it was a complete waste of money. There was virtually no massage involved – just a series of gentle strokes. I left feeling unfulfilled and disappointed.

Beach
Outdoor Activities
Platja de La Pineda, also known as Vila-seca beach, is a stunning and serene Blue Flag beach located in the Tarragona region along the Balearic coast. This idyllic stretch of coastline spans over 3 kilometers and features fine golden sand and calm, clear waters with a gentle slope, making it perfect for families.
It's a great yarn with a slow descent to the depths. It is very clean, there are showers and many cafes. When the weather is windy, you can surf. The beach is very long and there are always a lot of people there.
Solomiia S — Google review
Overall, the beach was average, and unfortunately, in 2025 during our stay, it was under construction. Instead of relaxing by the sea, we had the constant background noise of excavators and diggers, which really ruined the atmosphere. The beach itself was clean in general, but the area around the sunbeds was a different story. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time – full of garbage and cigarette butts, even though smoking on the beach is officially forbidden. The sunbeds were another disappointment. At €30 per day for two beds and an umbrella, the price was outrageous – especially considering the condition. In Mallorca, I paid €12.50 for the exact same setup, and it was much better quality. Here, the beds were old and uncomfortable, and the “tables” that came with them were basically useless. I spilled my coffee one day and my beer the next because they were so unstable. Paying €30 for that is honestly a joke. On top of that, the constant harassment from ambulant sellers made it nearly impossible to relax. They were selling everything from towels and sunglasses to perfumes, massages, and hair braids. They were extremely pushy, and you had to refuse them multiple times before they left – only for them to come back again an hour later. I’d say I had to turn them down at least 15 times a day, every day. And if that wasn’t enough, they continued in the evenings on the nearby streets, doing the same routine all over again. All in all, between the construction noise, the overpriced and uncomfortable sunbeds, the lack of cleanliness around the beds, and the relentless sellers, this beach was not the relaxing experience we were hoping for.

A good beach which was clean and with very fine sand. You have to walk quite a way into the water to go in deep so this is great for children. Lifeguards and a beach PA system was in use.

Hamburgueseria Oh la la is a casual eatery with an outdoor seating area that specializes in ribs, salads, and burgers. It is often referred to as a hidden gem and can be a bit challenging to locate, but locals are always willing to provide directions. One of the restaurant's standout nights is Monday when they offer an all-you-can-eat ribs special, which receives rave reviews. While they also serve hearty dishes like fresh fish, their spare ribs are particularly famous.
I quite literally cannot fault this place. The atmosphere and decor is amazing, super modern and pretty and pretty high end. The food... Lord. The burgers are insane, they taste amazing, they look beautiful, they're cooked incredibly well, even the fries were absolutely spot on. By far the best meal I had in La Pineda and possibly the best burger I've ever had. I wish I discovered this place earlier so I could have gone more than once. The owner is a great guy, very enthusiastic and also multilingual. The cocktails are fabulous, they taste amazing and look great too. The price is super reasonable for the quality of the food, the service was fast, but make sure you book a table in advance if you want a 100% chance of getting in. Genuinely cannot think of even the smallest negative for this place.

This place is pure magic! The moment you enter the garden, you’re swept into a lush, artistic oasis. There are blooming flowers everywhere, beautiful greenery, and in the middle of it all a whimsical fountain with a playful sculpture that perfectly reflects the creative and free-spirited vibe of the place. The staff is absolutely lovely: warm, joyful, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their positive energy is contagious. And the food? Fresh, creative, and made with care. Every dish feels personal, like it was made just for you. Highly recommended for anyone looking for more than just a meal this is an experience you won’t forget!

Fantastic family restaurant, particularly if you have picky eaters. They have moved to a larger premises since the last visit, seven years ago. Well deserved, as the service is friendly and attentive and the kids are looked after well, with ice cream and toys. Food is fast, but decent quality. The service and the vibe make it the best place in the area for families to come.

Beautiful small somewhat secluded beach. Can get a bit crowded at times. We had a lovely time with SUP here, can hire paddleboards at nearby hotels.

Walked over from adjacent beach area. It's just as busy & full of families & beach goers. No public change rooms so had to go back to the hotel to get changed before returning.
Anthony R — Google review
This hotel is absolutely not recommended. Their only goal seems to be to take as much money from you as possible during your stay. You have to pay for everything, even drinking water (€2.50 per liter), and even children's toys cost extra. You're not allowed to bring your own bottle into the restaurant, and even using the scale costs money. We were a group of four and needed four bottles of water per day just for lunch and dinner, which amounts to €10 per day. Over 10 days, that’s €100 just for water during meals in the restaurant. The staff is unfriendly, especially the lifeguard and the bar manager. The food is the same every day; after 10 days, we were completely fed up with it. Moreover, the bathrooms in the rooms smell bad. and the hallway smells like a chicken farm. How this hotel received 4 stars is beyond us. We will never come back here.

(Translated by Google) We made a reservation to eat at 1:15 p.m. They took our notice right away and brought the first ones quickly. The seconds took more than 1 hour and 15 minutes. As the restaurant filled up, our seconds and those at the tables next to us got lost along the way. They asked us 6 times what we were missing. They had no idea. Then they made the excuse that the kitchen was clogged. A lie, because the waiter on the terrace brought out dishes non-stop. When the seconds arrived, my husband was amazed because the Andalusian-style chicken skewer was inedible. I also tried to eat a piece. The first time I see him leave a plate uneaten. The waiters didn't give us anything, no discount or forgiveness. A shame. I hope Chicote pays them a visit because they need urgent help. Simple menu of 16.90 euros. Very expensive. The establishment boasts a well-decorated and inviting atmosphere, with spacious dining areas. While some patrons have noted changes in service and food quality due to new ownership, others have praised the weekday menu for its generous portions at reasonable prices. Visitors have also commended the attentive waitstaff.
We were so surprised as we got the meal included in the aquumspa offer. But iy was absolutely lovely. Eveything. The portions were great and all the food was delicious, the desserts were exceptional especially the mango samosas and the toast, chocolate, salt and oil. Sounds strnage but was best ive tasted. Service was slow, and unfortunately, the gym is right next door to the restaurant. This cheapens this place as you often see shirtless or swimming trunks whilst eating. Regardless, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Additionally, the burger comes very rare, which might not be some people's preference.

We visited this place to have lunch and at first were very disappointed with food. Mussels and octopus seemed to be few days old. WIth strange smell and taste. We had to call the waiter and return our dishes. Waiters were very attentive and changed our food to "new" which was much better and fresher. I'm confused what rating to give as at first I was very much negatively surprised with the food, but later it was changed for a good one.

Marwan made our experience at the restaurant different and wonderful. He recommended the paella and it was really delicious. We also ordered a green salad and it was delicious too. I highly recommend trying the restaurant. Thanks again, Marwan is a nice person and his service is excellent.

Had a really lovely visit to the Mix yesterday with my husband and young son. The food was very good, best I’ve had so far in Salou. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great from the decor to the chilled vibe. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. We will be returning!

We were staying in the apartments opposite and curious to try here. Wow, such a fantastic experience - very rare to find amazing food, atmosphere and service but this place was 5 stars on all! John and Elizabeth our servers were wonderful, especially Elizabeth who took time to talk us through the menu in English and was kind enough to recommend supermarkets and local places. Loved it so much we returned for our final evening too. Burger and sushi in particular were incredible. Lovely vibe outside tables with live music.

I had a wonderful lunch at Mix La Pineda Restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service from the waiters was very friendly and attentive. They really made us feel welcome. I tried the Angus burger with fries, and it was fantastic — juicy, well-seasoned meat with crispy, homemade fries. The pasta was also very tasty, with a rich and satisfying flavor. The pizza stood out too. The crust was very flavorful, and I really liked the fluffiness of the dough — it was soft and airy on the inside, with just the right crisp on the outside. I went there with a group of eight people, and everyone was happy with their meals. With such good food and a nice atmosphere, I’ll definitely be going back regularly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality lunch or diner spot!
