A breathtaking site with great historical significance. The grounds, monuments, and tombs are well curated. The guides are very friendly and generous with their time. If you are anywhere near Messolongi, make the effort to honour the heroes with your visit.

Garden of heros is an interesting monument to visit and spend time, if you are near. It has the graves of popular people who fought in a battle. It hasn't any restrooms or other facilities, but a half destroyed playground full of rust.

It’s nice to see the few historical statues & grass, could do with a makeover. These parts of Greece as Messologi is a very historical town, walking around needs money poured into it to make it more decent etc

Great Garden a bit hard to find the entrance (it’s on the opposite side from the supermarkets and carpark). Really well kept clean and tidy. Some nice shady places to side quietly and reflect on all the special people honoured in this garden. We grabbed a cold drink from the supermarket and spent a nice hour wandering around enjoying the garden. Highly recommend it for a nice free activity.

I recently visited the Garden of Heroes in Mesollogi and it was a truly inspiring experience. The garden is a beautiful tribute to the heroes of the Greek War of Independence, featuring statues and monuments that honor their bravery and sacrifice.

Quiet, beautiful, touching, green garden, that keeps the memory of all those many, coming from several countries, who gave their lives for the Independence of Greece. The statue of Lord Byron stands upon the burial of his heart. Missolonghi has not much to offer, except the emotional views over the lagoon, but this place is extraordinarily worth seeing, if you're keen on culture and history.

Pretty nice museum at the centre of the town. Interesting material and exhibition regarding the history of the city. At the upper floor of the museum other exhibitions are presented from time to time. During my visit there was a painting one. Photos are allowed.

We went there on 3 of Jan. I had babies with me and was raining hugely, still I wanted to show to my kids my country's heritage. I was advised from the hotel and internet that DIEXODOS was open until 1300 every day. However it was signaled at its door that was not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. We went on a Thursday but closed again. I am so much frustrated...overall, Greece is so much pathetic when it comes to the exhibition of its cultural and historical treasures.
