Today it's in a really bad condition but new owners have a development plan to build apartments and private houses on the land. ▶️ Bonus information: September 1710 the Harku Manor was the place where the capitulation contract between Russian forces and Sweden. The contract ended the Great Northern War and became the main foundation for the 18–19th century Baltic Special Agreements by which Estonia, going under the Russian reign for 200 years.
This manor is with the incredible history. It has been bought by the Switzerland entrepeneur who has been developing the building and surrounding areas for the future real estate reasons. Park is wide and wild with the pond inside all areas open for the public to use.
Well maintained park in a lovely area close to Tallinn. The park has several interesting plants, beautiful old trees and magnificent flowers. Some wild animal from the near Harku forest appear from time to time.
The old manor and the park near it.
Wonderful and mysterious old manor near a magnificent fairy forest! Worth visiting, trust me.
Lovely park for a quiet walks
Great place to start skiing
(Translated by Google) It's a pity that the manor is idle and no one especially takes care of it. Even a little of the awesome stone garden has been preserved here. (Original) Kahju, et mõis seisab jõude ja eriti ei hoolitse selle eest keegi. Siin on natuke säilinud isegi ägedat kiviaeda.

Amazing Monor, beautiful history, great guide, lovely cafe and magnetic aura. Visited during Forgotten Manor’s days.
▶️ Vääna is (In German Feyena, Faehna, Fähna) a village in Harku, Harju, in northern Estonia. It has only a few hundreds of people living here. ▶️Vääna Manor: The oldest recorded mention of the place (Feyena) has been dated back to 1325. The most famous resident of the manor house was the archaeologist Otto Magnus von Stackelberg who grew up there. Nowadays the manor houses a kindergarten-elementary school.
Was disappointed that no dogs allowed outside in the park.

Nice place to spend few hours in the woods without going out of town. Good place for tracking, cycling and picnics.
I experience that peace of woods close to the city Tallinn very peaceful and quiet. After a short car trip I could walk there for a long time without meeting anyone. Felt very safe and the 15km cross skiing Parcours looks well prepared. The trees, lots of snow, frozen lakes, silence and well All the ways are well marked. Really recommend that place to become a quiet mind
A bit of a hike from the closest bus stop (and google maps doesn't really know how to get there but we did find it). The view is terrific and lots of folks were swimming in the river at the top, so a fun spot overall. The bugs will get you in the summer.
Very nice walk around 8km. Possible even to find some berries and mushrooms. Saw a baby snake ( I reckon Viper )
A wonderful place for those who likes walking in silence in nature. This walking path is around 15 km but you can easily make it 20 km. There is a straight road, a wide one and easy to walk on, however, there are plenty of smaller pathes and they lead to the deeper woods. I was walking in the beginning of July and there were blueberries, a lot of them! Also, the path is nice on a hot day because it is cool in the shadows of trees. On a parking lot there is a map with the details and a WC (which is convenient, believe me). What is more, you can get to the trail or trails from any place in the city by bus. I recommend this place for discovering for sure!
Great tracks. Still little icy and snowy but good place to getaway from everyday city
8 and 12 km walkways/skitracks available with many sideroads. It is a tranquile tracks through Harku marshes. Quite many runners/skiers use it on sunny days. It is also illuminated.
A place to find peace and quiet, to sport, to enjoy nature. Usually, after 10 pm, it's basically an empty forest, only ones left are the animals. I have seen deer, foxes, even a moose. Perfect.
