The experience is esclusive and unique since there aren’t many tourists and you can get you own private moment surrounded buy the nature of the lake . The staff was very kind and listened to all our necessities, they even helped us with the transfers. The food is very good especially the typical cake they served us and the man leading the boat wasn’t intrusive and made us feel very comfortable. I recommend the experience since is unique in Valencia.
Beautiful calming place with great local restaurants.
We went at Spanish lunchtime and was nice to see families having big lunch parties with visual access, but all but restaurants were closed and terribly hot in August. If you want to have a boat excursion get very early or late (and book early hours if possible). Worth a trip if you have several days in Valencia and have a car.
We had the pleasure of spending a delightful day with Eva touring the Albufera. It is a wonderful place unlike any other. Eva is fluent in English, and having grown up watching the rice harvest, fishing with her father, and enjoying the special flavors that define the famous paella Valenciana is a spectacular guide. Walking with Eva through her village, exploring the museum of the Albufera, touring the lake by boat, seeing a flock of flamingoes in the distance, and finishing the day with a remarkable meal in Eva’s favorite restaurant made for a very special day. Thank you Albufera Valenciana for your hospitality.
Wonderfully quirky .. little place got a boat all around the natural bird sanctuary for 4 euros .. had the best local calamari ! ..@ Raco de les Eres restaurant so.friendly ...loved the whole experience defnetly go ..no 25 bus from Valencia 😊😊
A long journey by the country sides from the city of Valencia; to see the green fields and enjoy the boat rides..
Amazing place, I recommend visit this natural park with boat trip on lake

We did the sunset boat tour and it was very recommendable! The guide was very friendly and helpful and stopped at a quiet spot so we could take pictures and enjoy the sunset before heading back.

(Translated by Google) The boat ride is pure wonder. I've done it several times, but this was the best. Very friendly and professional. He explained everything in two languages: English and Spanish. A delight. I'll always take my friends here! (Original) El paseo en barca es pura maravilla. Lo hice varias veces pero esta era la mejor. Muy amable y profesional. A wonderful experience to really capture the beauty of the Albufera. Raul a fantastic guide took us out on the boat and explained all the basic details. A must do.
Recommend to book or take the trip with them! We arrived and didn't have a reservation and they were quick to get us a spot and the tickets for the next ride. We went with Raúl, a very nice and humorous guy who guided us through the canals very smoothly and explained everything from the fishermen to the species existing in the lake and a bit of Valencia history as well! The explanation was in Spanish but even for us who were Portuguese was easy to follow and we could hear well! I don't know if they would do it in English because no one asked... We had a very nice boat ride and well worth the money (we payed 5euros per adult in Easter season for a 40/45 minute ride). They also have a replica of the old farmers and fishermen cabins who are traditional from Valencia that you can visit and see the inside. You will see some real ones during the trip.
Went here Monday evening for a sunset tour. The personal was very friendly, explained the history of this place, and recommended local places to eat famous Valencian dishes. I'd totally recommend to come here for a sunset tour and going to bring some other friends myself.
What a delightful boat trip we had with Marta. She was such a great guide as she knows a lot about this natural park. She told us about the history and traditions of the local people in the area with nice and funny anecdotes. I recommend to book for the sunset, you will enjoy a stunning view, with all the beautiful colours reflecting on the water. We were also super lucky to see flamingos! Definitely, it’s worth the money, only 5 euros! We will repeat soon.
The highlight? Watching the sun dip below the horizon, turning the lagoon golden. It’s calm, beautiful, and full of charm—an experience that feels both relaxing and magical. But the real surprise? Visiting a traditional barraca— With its thatched roof and rustic feel, it added so much authenticity to the experience. This boat ride reminded me how lucky we are to have this peaceful paradise so close to home.
I joined a sunset boat ride with Marta, a friendly and knowledgeable biologist by training who is from the area. Marta speaks English, Spanish, and Italian and warmly answered questions that other passengers and I had. She told us about the history of what's now a reserve as well as shared detailed information about the creatures that live there. The ride was fascinating and beautiful. Even though the reserve is only a short ride away from the center of Valencia's capital city (you can get there by taxi or public bus (easy and very inexpensive)), you feel like you are hours away. You can also tour a recreation of a traditional fisherman's house and meet the goats that live on the property. It's definitely worth going!
RAÚL IS AMAZING, I highly recommend!!! He translates and all, very comfortable and pleasant experience. Chau, disfruten!
Raul did a great job explaining the history of the fishing town el palmar. Lots of fun!

Great tour 😍 We took the sunrise tour and it was fantastic : the sights and the tour guide just perfect 🤩 1000% recomand
Great boat trip out to the estuary just before sunset. The guide was a little quiet possibly because it was nearing the end of the day and he had had enough! Well worth the five euros though just to take in the sights and nature.
Amazing experience a worthwhile detour from Valencia. No problems with respect to the flooding from Dana the nature park has not been affected at all.
Excellent tour on a beautiful boat with Jose who is kind and attentive and explains everything in Spanish as well as good English! He answered all questions and my family left very happy at the end of the tour. Totally worth it!!
Very good tour. Friendly staff and great explanation about the region and the importance of that lake to the local community.
I’ve come hear for the sunset trip, it was a seasons experience. I suggest everyone to make it!
Had a great sunset tour with the beautiful scenery and good explanation from our tour guide! We were on a boat of 25 people but it was nice and didn't feel crowded. Booking process was fast and easy on WhatsApp and payment in cash at the meeting point!
Excellent value for money and absolutely stunning lake
