Drove all the way from Norway for this course. And it did not disappoint me at all! The course is in perfect condition! Just amazing! It is a challenging and fun course. I will for sure be back several times more. Highly recommended!!
Fantastic golf course in top condition. Great design, challenging and breath taking with alot of fun holes. Staff at pro shop + restaurant were very polite and the training facility was top notch. Downside and underwhelmed factor came from the restaurants menu which lacked creative and quality choices for its higher range pricing as well as the experience of two gentlemen physically pushing and shoving while arguing over the smoking regulations rather than talking it out politely like adults. This led to a feeling of discomfort between a couple of tables and seemed very childish and obnoxiously loud for an issue so little. The menu for such prestigious course IMO could involve some foreign e.g Italian dishes rather than food of the likes of sausage with fries quality which diminishes in my opinion the overall experience. Hoping for a return in the near future.
Best golf course in the wider Hamburg area. Very relaxed and sport oriented atmosphere, sustainable food and interesting concepts, eg sheep 'mowing' then rough on the South Course. North Course is just golf paradise. Also very child friendly. Love it!
I visited with 11 friends in July after booking months before via email and phone. We planned an Hamburg golf trip including Falkenstein and Winston courses. Once we arrived at Green Eagle, the director told us they were having work in progress on the greens due to the Porsche Open in September. He made us €5 discount. Why didn't he tell us before? On the first green we found out we wasted a day and a lot of money. Greens were totally unplayable and course should have been closed. Greens were nothing but deep lines, holes and sand. Not fun at all for a group of friends willing to enjoy a good round of golf. We decided not to putt when on the greens. The north course is a great and demanding layout, the back nines are literally infinite and offer a huge challenge to everyone. Also low handicappers. Honestly, I do not recommend this course to anybody. Layout is awesome and extremely challenging but management does not think about quality service but only making money. The director offered a beer at the end of the round...
Nice but really long back 9. Greens could be smoother and faster.
Played the North Course. Impeccable state of the course, interesting holes on the front nine. The back nine kept me laughing out loud - 4110 metres long! Four par 5 holes (509, 551, 543 and 606 metres off the yellow tees). Unbelievable! I even sent a picture of hole 16 to my golf colleagues.
Stunning Golf course in the South of Hamburg! Picturesque and beautiful!
Porsche slope was excellent and very very tough for middle golf players like in our group. The services provided by Green Eagle management was world class and I can only recommend this place highly.

A well kept Museum to show the Tradition from the past . Together with this was a Old Timer Car show so the day Was perfect .together with a Brat würst and potato salat .Extream Hygiene clearance was required they come again next year .so if I can I will visit again. Parking was Impossible............. Another day 01 May 2023 Yes its (Back Day) in the Museum lots of good old music and a Fantastic Fanfaren team from MEISSENDORF. Parking was difficult due to the amount of visitors thère One has to be Patient to que for 15 minutes for a sausage and a bit of bread. On a lovely sunny day this is a great place to visit . How ever when a event is running then its full there . Wheel chair ..is possable but dufficult ..😆😆😆
The entire farm consists of ancient farm buildings bought and moved to the site by the volunteers of the society which owns and runs the farm. Events throughout the year, like e.g. a popular baking day which takes place twice a year (on the 1. May and on the second Sunday in August), allow visitors to gain insights into old traditions kept alive by the members of the society, who also offer guided tours through the farm. We visited during the International Museum Day 2018 and were really surprised not only by the number of building and number of exhibits, but also the fact that unlike in conventional museums, visitors are actually allowed to touch exhibits, albeit usually under supervision of a tour guide. The lady showing us around was really friendly and helpful and we'll be sure to be back this August for their traditional baking day!
So lovely. We came when it was empty, but enjoyed the tour with the audio guide. I can't wait to go back when there's a festival.
Schönes Museumsdorf
(Translated by Google) It was a nice visit to the museum, which we started with a delicious meal in the adjacent Csfe/restaurant. That in itself was an experience. When we toured the old buildings of the museum village, we received a detailed description of life at that time and many of the exhibits. Definitely worth a visit. Be sure to inquire about opening times beforehand. 👍

(Translated by Google) Be sure to visit! Such a lovingly landscaped area. Beautiful. You get an impression of what life used to be like. Some of the houses are very detailed. We found the farmhouse particularly impressive. (Original) Unbedingt besuchen!

The former manor house is now a café, hotel and nature information centre set among forest and ponds. There’s free access to the grounds, which are pleasantly overgrown and alive with birds, frogs and insects. The exhibition is small but very interesting, with good interactive activities for children, and is well worth the ticket price.
(Translated by Google) Unfortunately we were there outside opening hours. But it's worth exploring the paths around the estate and you can get information about the animal and insect world in a variety of ways.

The café in the mansion with great staff is also highly recommended. Also worthwhile as a destination by bike.
(Translated by Google) Everything around it is being flattened with a harvester. So this is how environmental protection works? Trees certainly have to be removed, whether due to disease or because of economic reasons. But this part also destroys everything around it. Maybe things could have been done better here and not just the economic factor in the foreground. The forests are barely recognizable, the little enchanted paths no longer exist... So funktioniert also Umweltschutz? 👎
(Translated by Google) We went there twice for coffee after hiking. I thought it was so great that disabled people find work there and are supported. On the estate you can learn a lot about nature and the animals that live here.
(Translated by Google) NABU Well Sunder, we were there for a three-day seminar. As you can see, we had great weather. With weather like this, it's a worthwhile destination, and not just for seminars. Very beautifully situated grounds, with already landscaped gardens and parks. A great arrangement of the different buildings, cafe, barn etc. It's a shame that Good Sunder for us is so far away.

So you end up directly in the rear forest access in front of the demolished bridge. There is no parking here. Be sure to use the first entrance to get to the parking lot. Great terrain and nature reserve. Please check the opening times beforehand. Very nice and interesting explanatory panels in an educational pond environment. Lots of nature to experience. The attached information office was unfortunately closed, but the park and the restaurants were usable. Very tasty cakes and drinks at a very good price-performance ratio. Definitely worth a visit, not just for nature lovers. During the “mosquito season” be sure to take appropriate protective measures. In some areas of the park it can be seen as very annoying to serve as a blood donor. (Original) Achtung!
