The trail here was great. Steep climb up past the waterfalls but it is well designed and well maintained. There were places to buy drinks—beer, water, schnapps—no matter which direction you walked the trail. The hike was shaded almost the entire time so it was perfect for a bright, hot morning or afternoon.
Beautiful forest, nice walking/hiking routes. Loud noises when you are still close to the road. Well-kept forest without garbage, comfortable walking paths.
Beautiful nature and a lot of hiking trails to explore the drive through the park as also very beautiful. You can see different farms. There are free range cows and we saw a deer farm on the road too. I heard that there are ticks so make sure to get vaccinated or cover your body while you’re going hiking here.
This national park is so beautiful. The nature here is really wild and the forest looks really as it is colored into black how much dense it is. Just walking there, admiring tall of the plants, mushrooms, and huge trees, it is so peaceful and so useful for taking a deep breath. Moreover, you have many traces to many places which you can follow, so not even weeks are enough long time for exploring this forest.
Fantastic nature reserve in the middle of Germany. Great activities for kids and grown-ups alike. Lots of nature. Zero noise.
An incredible place. The most beautiful forest I've ever seen. Well-marked trails and wonderful regional food. I highly recommend it.
Parking fills up fast so get there early. But people did park along the side of the road. This is a beautiful (2 mile round trip) moderate hike. There are some up hills, but manageable. I hiked the trail in sneakers. There are people from all age groups hiking this trail. Make sure to bring water on warmer days. The trail can get crowded, but it is wide enough to accommodate everyone. You can do a loop by following the yellow and white markers at the back end instead of one way in, one way out. There are ruins along the way and a cafe/bar when you reach the ruins.
Beautiful black forest with an easily accessible waterfall which you can get increasingly better views via a stair case. The steps are easy to climb and leads to the ruins of an old monastery. Lots of benches to take a break too.

Interesting tour of an old abandoned but restored silver mine. Organized by passionate and friendly hosts. Nice touch is that everyone is carrying a light because there are no electric lights in the mine itself.
(Translated by Google) The mine is highly recommended if you want an insight into the past. The tour was very interesting and all of our questions were answered. You are provided with boots and a poncho, which is definitely advisable for the mine tour. You also get a safety helmet and flashlight. After the entertaining tour with a great adventure factor, you go back to the log cabin, where you return all your things. At the end there was a surprise, which I don't want to reveal, but everyone can find out for themselves when they book a viewing. Thanks again to the great mine guide.
(Translated by Google) The small mine can be visited from May to October by booking with Touristik Seebach, very worth seeing... monthly on Tuesdays or by group booking (Original) Das kleine Bergwerk kann man Mai bis Oktober besichtigen über Anmeldung Touristik Seebach sehr sehenswert……monatlich Dienstags oder auf Gruppen Anmeldung

(Translated by Google) The old mine was uncovered by volunteers and is an absolute highlight for young and old. You should register for a guided tour. For the very small entrance fee you get a very nice lecture that leaves no questions unanswered - and of course it goes "underground". Our children were totally thrilled - and so were we adults.
(Translated by Google) We went on a company outing to, among other places, Silbergründle! The two gentlemen made the tour extremely entertaining! Thank you very much for that😊 The Silbergründle is really worth seeing - but you shouldn't be claustrophobic! Rain cape, rubber boots and lamp are provided on site!
(Translated by Google) A guided tour of the mine costs €5 for an adult and lasts approximately one hour. First, you'll learn interesting facts about the mine. Then, you'll explore the mine. During the tour, you'll have to climb down a ladder, making it unsuitable for people with walking difficulties. All equipment (rubber boots, lamps, etc.) is available on-site. Advance reservations by phone are recommended, but a walk-in is also possible.

(Translated by Google) Old, well-preserved Schwarzald mill (a water mill maintained by a support association). The "customs evening" is informative, entertaining and entertaining: among other things, pounding butter, pulling pine chips, spinning wool and singing songs and a good, hearty snack with cider and schnapps. Tip: Walk from the town along the Mühlengrund (approx. 1.7 km) to the mill with a lantern (available from the tourist information office); There is a small grotto and a schnapps Brünnele on the way. Have fun!
