Wonderful walk on the bay with the kids (2, 6, 8 years old). Great guide speaking his languages. Searching for seashells and learning the differences between male and female crabs. We enjoyed it very much!
Absolutely beautiful, but all restaurants severely over priced (tourist trap, I paid 12 euro for a belgian beer), I recommend it but bring a pic nic.
Most definitely THE best guide-group to use while visiting the wonderful Bay of St Michel...This agency has the most knowledgable guides, great senses of humor, great dedicated service... Having tried 2 other agencies, with some disappointment & regret, take my word for this ; use only Chemins de la Baie/Ways of the Bay as your guides, both across, around and in Mont St Michel.
Really nice view of the mont saint Michel
Beautiful, amazing Lamb as well
Better seen from here than actually inside
Amazing surreal place.

We had a great experience due to our great guide(Guillome) and our choice to go for the evening/night visit. It was a mystical and active experience and it was in a 'smaller' group and very calm at mont sain michel(see pic). Since we slept on the parking site we saw about 150 people gather for the morning visits so i wouldn't recommend that. Plan for this trip and enjoy!
As someone who doesn't do well amongst massive hordes of tourists, this was THE PERFECT way to discover the Mont Saint Michel. We did the 16:30, 2-hour tour. Our tour guide, Guillaume, was funny, interesting, and very informative. Even the woman who answered the phone when I called with questions was patient, kind, and answered my questions thoroughly. The whole organization of this place is extremely well done. We and our children enjoyed slipping, sliding, and squelching through the sands, then rinsing off in some of the creeks, and learning about / experiencing quicksand. Bybthe time we finished, most of the tourists had gone home and we had a quieter, more authentic Mont Saint Michel practically to ourselves. We would have liked to stay for the rising of the tides, but our littles were getting too tired and hungry. Can't recommend this tour enough!!
(Translated by Google) An unforgettable crossing of the bay with Thierry, an enthusiastic and friendly guide who happily shares humor, history, and science. The hike includes numerous breaks allowing for a rich and humorous exchange. We walk on sand, shallow mudflats, and "pitching" waves. We cross rivers. And of course, we experience quicksand and, above all, we learn how to navigate it without difficulty. You get the idea: this is much more than a hike. It's an exceptional experience to be enjoyed in the best possible safety conditions, supervised by an attentive and caring professional.
(Translated by Google) Marc....Marc what can I say, I am lost for words, our walk was so magical. What a wonderful time we spent together in this magical landscape. Eloquence, simplicity and humor combined in this guide. I can only recommend this company which had the intelligence to employ Marc as our guide for the day. And what a pleasure to play with the kids in the moving pitch in complete safety. TO DO. A FAIRE.
(Translated by Google) The place is magnificent. The guide has extensive knowledge of history, geography, flora, and fauna. For our group, it would have been nice to speed up on the way there so we could have had an earlier lunch break and possibly postponed some of the explanations until the return trip (stomachs were hungry, and concentration for the explanations had diminished...). Of course, this also depends on the tides! Otherwise, I recommend this experience, especially for those with a thirst for knowledge! :)
(Translated by Google) Just like in 2020, we had a superb crossing of the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel with the Super Guides Thierry and François ;-) Contact, booking, and the process went smoothly with Lydie from "Découverte de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel." A safe and well-documented crossing with our very professional guides, and a good atmosphere for our group of 67 Finistère residents... Thank you! Merci ! Nous reviendrons :-)
(Translated by Google) 2nd time we have gone through "discovery of the bay" 1st time with Thierry and 2nd time with François, everything went very well, I highly recommend these activities which are a change from the eternal Mont Saint Michel (we live in the 35, the mountain is a bit Brazilian too 😀) itself. We learn things while doing a nature activity with the children! Just a shame. I had taken 4 places, my wife having back problems, she could not come and it is not possible to postpone her visit but that's the game!
(Translated by Google) Thank you, Raphael, for sharing his extensive knowledge of the bay's flora, fauna, and history. A wonderful, safe hike. Definitely worth to do and to see the Mont Saint Michel from the bay. Once you enter the town, it appears to be too touristic. Beautiful half-day walk in sand and water (no worries, the water and sand are not cold). This trip overcame my expectarions!
Best skirt steak i had in France. Better then l'entrecote which was top 3 in some sites
(Translated by Google) A beautiful, long walk, full of adventure. Crossing rivers, passing over quicksand. This is what is the most impressive, the most interesting and, of course, the most dangerous, which increases the level of adrenaline in the blood, is the quicksand tests.

Thank you to our guide who knew how to share his passion for the bay and lead us safely to this superb place.
(Translated by Google) Alright! I recommend the guided crossing. (Original) Très bien! Je recommande la traversée commentée.
(Translated by Google) On the crossing with this guide, no comment since it did not take place unfortunately to our great regret. The reason is a very limited reception, aggressive, contemptuous and odious reflections. Mr Lavadoux took us for idiots apparently it was in the tone of humor (very special and caustic) in these conditions there was no question of spending 3 to 4 hours listening to him. Go your way, strikes, I do not recommend it.
(Translated by Google) Very good guide, funny 🤣 full of humor, we were 8 friends and we found the crossing very interesting and enriching, we did not know the history of Tromblaine which is bigger than Mont Saint Michel and it deserves to be known. Another big thank you to Didier Lavadoux (Original) Très bon guide, drôle 🤣 plein d’humour, nous étions 8 amis et nous avons trouvé la traversée très intéressante et enrichissante, nous ne connaissions pas l’histoire de Tromblaine qui est plus grande que le Mont Saint Michel et elle mérite d’être connue. Encore un grand merci à Didier Lavadoux
(Translated by Google) We made the crossing on heritage weekend 2022, with Didier, with a departure at 2 p.m. Didier was accommodating regarding the reservation and payment (poor understanding). He is passionate about his job and has a lot of knowledge. At first glance, Didier seems like a great comedian. We are then delighted since we have a great sense of humor. However, we spent 4 hours being humiliated, subjected to misogynistic comments, and so on. This crossing was for our grandmother's birthday, who is still in great shape (we don't need to specify her age, nor those of the other participants, we know what we are capable of). From the first meters, we are entitled to thoughts similar to humiliation, because we are moving too slowly (we were in the mud, we are not going to run). Didier advises us to hold hands, which we do, in complicated places. However, in less complicated moments, we don't give him a hand. We were criticized for this. We're not going to pull people by the hand. Whether it's our grandmother or other family members. Word said to the rest of the group "be careful, they are coming, move away, there is going to be a tidal wave", or even "no but, the old woman is not going to hold out, hold her hand", or "but ma'am, you cannot delay the group because you are picking up rubbish". For someone who advocates respect for the bay, the fauna and the flora, a nice reflection. Forgive us for having values and being sensitive to current climate issues. The excuse to hurry us? “The tide is rising quickly, we’re going to get stuck.” As I said before, departure at 2 p.m., low tide at 6:35 p.m. I think we had time. Certainly, we are responsible for our abilities to make the crossing (as indicated on the site + at the start of the crossing), but it was absolutely not indicated that the crossing was sporty and fast. This is not a race. When I tell Didier, after a few meters, that we can turn back, because we are not moving fast enough, he refuses. Furthermore, Didier had known since the day before that we were with our grandmother. Didier did not adapt to the entire group once. And I'm not talking about misogynistic jokes, which don't make anyone laugh. Even with the comments of other hikers, we were entitled to "I don't care, the main thing is that it makes him laugh". Be careful, if you want to have fun, laugh..., he will blame you, because you will delay the group. I would like to point out that no other member of the group laughed at our cadence, and on the contrary, congratulated our grandmother, they were amazed. In short, even if Didier knows his workplace very well, expect a sporty and express discovery, humiliations, misogyny, egocentrism, meanness... All, without pedagogy... This comment is in no way intended to "harm" Didier, but rather to inform future hikers what to expect and so that this situation does not happen again, for Didier and for users. Bien cordialement

(Translated by Google) Superb experience. I was able to take two walks with Caroline. The horses are great, adapted to your level. All in good spirit, they live in the meadow and are very well looked after. Top equipment and infrastructure. A stable on a human scale where the well-being of the horses comes first. I highly recommend. For the beauty of the landscapes I'll let you discover for yourself ;). (Translated by Google) We took our 5 grandchildren (7 to 3 years old) to Caroline's house at 5:30 p.m.: it's time when Caroline offers the children a fun and intelligent little course on friendly ponies. Caroline knows like no one else how to talk to children, get them involved, familiarize them with animals, and share with them her quality relationship with horses. She knew how to encourage the children, help them progress, and empower them in a way that was both clear and joyful. In short, a great time with a great instructor! I was fully equipped with riding equipment (breeches, helmet, even shoes & chaps were provided). You will be asked extensively how well you ride so that the perfect horse can be found. Before the ride starts, we take a quick lap around the riding arena to see whether the horse and rider are in harmony. I was absolutely thrilled. The ride on the beach was beautiful.
