Camped here for one night. Looked at all the trains etc. Nice!
Kids get in for free. Nice that you are allowed to get into the trains. Some vital parts are missing, but you still get a feel for the trains and the history. You could perhaps spend an hour or two there. Outside rest area available.
A very nice little railway museum. Ideal for a visit with children; the model railway is just as worth seeing as the real ones.
Really enjoyed the museum. They don't have much, but what they do have really excited my 4 year old. You can get up close and climb into the various trains they have, which really made the whole experience amazing. Oh, and don't forget to check out the model rail they have on the back room. The attention to detail is truly amazing!
This was a nice museum. Modern museums tend to be filled up with screens and information on badly designed boards. This museum brings you close to the history in a practical and visual way! This is a must see “hidden away” museum! Remember to bring cash!
A very nice museum with a small, yet beautifull collection consisting of some locomotives and Danish railroad-related items. The crew of the Djursland Jernbanemuseum is also very kind and enthousiastic. Paying a visit to this museum is really worth it!
(Translated by Google) Incredibly beautiful collection and exciting to see and read. The volunteers are very welcoming and want to share their knowledge.
(Translated by Google) So many great things to see in such a small space. Fantastic. From model trains to real ones. Everything is well explained. Friendly railway enthusiasts. Super. Von Modellbahn bis Original. Alles gut erklärt. Freundliche Bahner.

(Translated by Google) Pindstrup belongs to Marie Magdalene parish, and over the centuries the residents have had to walk or drive the long way to the parish's beautiful medieval church in Marie Magdalene. At the beginning of the 20th century, however, Pindstrup became a fairly large town, which was connected to the fact that Johannes Fauerschou la Cour established Pindstrup Mosesbrug. Against this background, it was natural that a desire arose for Pindstrup to have its own church, and initially an old mission house was rebuilt and consecrated as a temporary church in 1949. However, work continued with the plans to have a real church built, and in 1955 a cemetery was laid out on the area on the northern edge of the town that had been acquired for the purpose. A beautiful entrance area was established and a chapel was built and with this the location of the future church was given, but it was not until 28 April 1968 that the finished church could be consecrated. A collection was started for the church in connection with the death of Mrs. Margrethe la Cour, but it ended with Johannes Fauerschou la Cour paying for the building of the church, while the collected funds were used for furnishings and decoration. It is Kgl. building inspector, architect C.F. Møller, Århus, who designed the church. It is a traditional church in its design with a chancel, nave and a tower that can be seen widely in the landscape, but it is also a modern building, constructed of concrete blocks and roofed with cedar wood shavings. to the right of the entrance door, there are 5 monks' stones from the mother church in Marie Magdalene. In the tower hangs a bell that was acquired for the dedication of the church and which bears the inscription: "I call loudly from the top of the tower to the Lord's house every man and woman," and a tower clock with the hourly strike was acquired for a sum donated by Margrethe and Johannes Faurschou la Cour Foundation, in 1984 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Margrethe la Cour.
(Translated by Google) Interesting church. A stave church that is partly made of aerated concrete. It gives an exciting expression. In the church room there is a large crucifix above the altar by Robert Jacobsen and stained glass windows by Peter Brandes, both parts give a good dynamic to the room. (Original) Spændende kirke.
