We visited the Awesome set up At the War Museum amazing guided Tour and so lovely to meet you with our family Schafer last week only! Lyndy from Eire
Very small. But only 3 euro's.
(Translated by Google) This surprisingly large borderland museum offers a very interesting contemporary history about the almost 45 years of German separation and all the consequences that the almost impenetrable border between the GDR and the Federal Republic had at that time. For example, you can see pictures of the 5 km wide restricted area on the GDR side from the hinterland fence to the border, the reconstructed top part of the watchtowers, the change to the border through replacement, the uniforms of the border guards on both sides, etc. Highly recommended! Sehr empfehlenswert!
(Translated by Google) Museum about the origin and disappearance of the Iron Curtain. Which caused a division of Germany into West and East. It is not very big but it is interesting. The texts of the exhibition are in German, English and Dutch.
(Translated by Google) We were a group and the entrance fee was €3. Very disappointing for me. I would have liked to have seen more exhibits. But almost only photos and a lot to read. It wasn't worth the price of admission. Everyone feels it differently.
(Translated by Google) Very impressive and also depressing… Very exciting insights into a piece of German-German history. We were very fortunate that two contemporary witnesses from East and West described their experiences at the border and brought history to life.
(Translated by Google) Very interesting, entry €3.50 with guest card, definitely worth seeing. (Original) Sehr interessant, Eintritt €3,50 mit Gästekarte, unbedingt sehenswert.
(Translated by Google) Definitely worth a visit! Affordable admission prices and lots of bundled information. A very interesting exhibition! The audio guide for only 1 euro extra is also great. Even if everyone thinks they know pretty much “everything” about the GDR and back then, it is very interesting. Definitely recommended! It was great, thank you very much! Definitiv empfehlenswert! Es war klasse, vielen Dank!

Very good for family time. Options to relax for the adults options for babies, toddlers and teens to enjoy the free time on their own pace :)
awesome pools and slides but the staff was really unfriendly. one of the staff even tried to throw us out because my friend and I had our 4 and 5 year old Kids in the wave pool with us
A very old pool. A very unusual layout with the showers and clothing rooms. Only 1 slide which is out of service when the wave bath is operational because they don't have enough water. Lighting gives a yellow glow which makes it look like a lot of people pissed in the water. Sadly a very pricy experience which I wont be repeating.
The pools are great and my 2 and 5-year-old both had fun. We were able to go in the wave machine and on the slide (not the 2 year old) no problem. However the price is pretty high just for 2 hours. The changing rooms are really crowded and so small that its very hard to manage for families. The lockers are so close together youre always bumping into someone. It was very busy and noisy the day we went with long queues to get it and queues for the slide and jacuzzi. Overall fine if chaotic and exhausting, but probably great if you go at an off peak time.
Occasional rude employees. Overall an ok place. Pools are ok. Food is ok but nothing special. It's quite shabby and in a dire need for an upgrade.
Nice place to spend a couple of hours with the kid. I only visited the kids area. There is also a big water slide which I didn't try out as my kid is to small for it
Very nice family area. Nice slide for kids over 6 years old. Nice warm pool for small kids.
Nice place to spend a few hours with the kids, they have a big slide and a wave pool, water is nice and warm

Great show, the trainer explained everything thoroughly throughout the show. A lot of interesting facts about caring for these birds. Highly recommend for anyone, specially kids who are interested in wild animals.
SUPER recommend to visit! 🤩❤️ I’m not a big fan of birds but my boyfriend is. 😂 and this experience changed my point of view towards birds! 👍🏻 There are lots kinds of Falkon/ Eagle/ Owls. It was fascinating to see them in a close distance.✨ Also it was nice to know they are not “locked up” in a cage, some cages were open cuz they were free to fly around and come back whenever they want to come back. The best part was “The flying show” for sure. 🦉 You get to see them in a very close distance, hear all the explanation about each bird’s hunting style, prey, and its attributes. Looking at the big eagle 🦅 flying around and responding to the training was really cool. Before leaving this place, I took a picture with the “cuddle owl”, which was beloved friend of trainer’s daughter. The owl was super cute, fluffy and soft. I could feel that the Trainer and his family (young children) are treating these animal with love. 🚗Parking spot: yes 👶🏻Recommend to visit with children: yes 🐶Visiting with Pets: I don’t know 😅 💶Entrance fee: 10euro (Adults) only cash! 🦅Flying show: 11am/ 15pm (IF there is more than 15people) - Show is in German
The show (in German) was great. We got to touch an owl and learn a lot about the birds as well as the hunting they do together. Definitely worth a stop on your holiday and I really appreciate the extremely high welfare provided for the birds and respect and care the falconers have for them.
Interesting but a bit expensive for what it is. There is no show when there are less than 10 adults but you pay the same price which doesn't seem right.
Amazing, very well done with a good show at 3 pm
Very nice for a short trip, birds are well taken care of.
Rare possibility to take an own in your hands
Very high price for the poor content. Demo only taking place with at least 15 people for no good reason.

(Translated by Google) The owners have lovingly designed and cared for this little fairytale forest. The costumes that both adults and children can choose from are amazing. We had a lot of fun and the child could use their knowledge of fairy tales with a little quiz. It was really nice and I'd love to come back.
Cute place. Very old which makes engineering of the mechanic impressive. Different fairy tale displays within the forest. Man who works there is a nice person. 4€ per person. You get a certificate at the end and you can dress up in different fancy dress. For children there is a map with a puzzle that’s leads you through the different areas. Four stars as it is very small and only takes about half an hour of your time.
(Translated by Google) The oldest fairytale forest in Germany. Many classics beautifully staged. The fairytale forest has existed since 1910, but there are also newer play elements for children. Each child also gets a candy to greet them if they like. The older ones or even parents can explore the forest with a riddle of nine questions in total.
Really really nice place.. u should come 😉
Priced low. Geared towards children who know fairytales. Costumes are free to do a circuit of tales filling a quiz.
This is a small area hat has a few old exhibits around a fairy tale theme. Probably the most interesting fact is that it is over 100 years old.
Cute little fairy tale dioramas with moving parts dating from 1910. Fun for kids.
Made with love. Absolutely beautiful place. Amazing childhood memories. Thank you!
(Translated by Google) Our last day of vacation in the Harz was completely dedicated to the children and we were not disappointed in Germany's oldest fairytale forest. Lovingly designed and set in a mountainside, this fairytale forest made an impression not only on our kiddies. Even though the fairytale forest has become a bit outdated over 113 years, it is the best example that something can work without coin-operated rides. With costumes provided free of charge, you go on a hunt for witches and dwarves, take part in a little fairy tale puzzle and at the end you receive a witch or knight diploma. Simply magical. This is really worth a visit.
(Translated by Google) A beautiful park with a warm owner. Very friendly to children and parents. The possibility of dressing up is a highlight, and an effort was also made to keep the children busy with a puzzle. The houses with moving stories were very beautiful. Certainly not everything is new, but you can feel the heart and joy. For a great music, fun and dancing, Cafe Diener is brilliant. Bar price and service is excellent. If the DJ is not already famous then he should be soon :)
