We love being in this Bad Sooden Terme, it is our favorite place to relax and spend a family day. The water are warm so you can come also in a cold day or even if it is raining outside. There are great restaurants around. Mostly recommended.
Nice place to relax and enjoy warm waters and multiple temp. saunas! I found it strange however there was a man outside the area taking pictures of the pool with people in it.
Nice spa with a wave pool and other amenities. A little bit stuck in the 80s but overall very tidy and the staff was friendly and supportive. It’s definitely not oriented on kids in the first place but they won’t be bored.
Myself and daughter visited today while staying in Grossalmerode Germany. What an amazing pool with many jacuzzi area's a wave machine. Beautiful shower and lockers. Even a massage chair. Just wonderful.
I only give one star because of the policy they have at the reception. I came with my family. We paid for 3 hours and three massages, each for 30 minutes. But the continuation of the massages was about 23-25 minutes. After swimming, we decided to eat and drink a beer each. Accordingly, we extended the time by 16 minutes. We paid more on the way out. I explained that we had lunch and that's why we were late, and showed the receipt for the lunch. It didn't matter, we were answered by the reception. I give 3 stars for hygiene and cleanliness! I hope the manager pays attention to all this!
Nice place but we were disappointed that the last scrub of the day didn’t happen despite being advertised as happening even on a Sunday. The poster clearly says that only the 9pm scrub doesn’t happen on Sundays (which makes sense because the place closes at 9pm on Sundays), yet the 8:30pm scrub seems to have been cancelled by the staff too. Please either update your posters or do as advertised :) Thanks! Still giving 4 stars because it’s clean and affordable.
Expensive, but fun. We could not find family cabins to change clothes. They have pool with waves. All water is mineral, and in there means salty.
Very nice place, clean. There is only one problem... limited parking area additionally it kost 6€ per day but you can not pay by card

I was in town for a holiday. Beautiful half-timbered houses. I have explored the surroundings on a bicycle. I rented the bike here. Friendly service, well maintained bikes.
(Translated by Google) We had problems with the pedals on our tour, so stopped by and had the pedals changed. Get fast, uncomplicated and friendly help. Thanks to the lift, I didn't even have to remove the tour bags. The change was carried out quickly, competently and cheaply, with pleasure again (Original) Auf unserer Tour Probleme mit der Pedale gehabt, also kurz vorbeigeschaut und die Pedale wechseln lassen.

(Translated by Google) I WOULD NOT GO! ABSOLUTELY RUDE! Just called and briefly described my problem and asked for an approximate cost range. The guy replied angrily that it was dubious and hung up. No viewing appointment offered or anything. The second call didn't really come up with anything. He cheekily asked what I was doing. As if that was any of his business. I know where I'm not going anyway!!! I found a better service nearby that could answer my questions. (Original) WÜRDE ICH NICHT HINGEHEN! ABSOLUT UNFREUNDLICH! Beim 2.

(Translated by Google) My mother and I are natives of Eschweg. We live in Michigan, USA, and are in Bad Sooden Allendorf, a central place for families, with my wife and son for two weeks. We walked around the corner to this bar because I like Eschweger beer and wanted to have a beer before bed. Google says this bar is open until 1am. We came in at 10:45pm and wanted to find a table. The bartender said “finished” and sent us away while a customer sat at a table with a full beer. So two hours and fifteen minutes before the announced closing time, this bar turned away four people willing to spend money. Is it because they thought we were “just Americans” or not “locals”? I get my favorite beer in another restaurant with friendly people. We have already met a few restaurant owners in the city who were more than willing to serve us. Never judge a book by its cover, especially when word of mouth (or a review) is a powerful tool. My wife and I have a travel report in which we visit many places and give tips and recommendations for other tourists. The city of Bad Sooden-Allendorf is good. We recommend this bar to tourists and anyone who wants to experience the charm of a small German town, avoid this place and recommend places that are friendly to strangers. Edit: Walked past the bar at 11:57 p.m. The bar was closed, but a man was sitting in the corner watching TV inside. So was television more important than paying customers? Addendum to the owner's response: When we walked in there were a total of four other people there. Yes, the only outside light was turned off, but the door was left open and the TV was loud. When we saw people inside, the door was open and the “Open” sign in the window remained on. Your comment that you can't make a living staying open is ridiculous. BSA is a city that relies on tourists, and when four people walk into a place that says on Google Maps it's open until 1 a.m., turning away tourist customers is not the way to solve financial difficulties. If you waited on us for ten minutes, you would have gotten money from four people. Isn't it worth staying open at least until 11pm? We might have returned again and again because you are close to where we are staying in the two weeks we are here. Who closes the store at 10:45pm as closing time??? I still suspect that they decided to “close down” and let us go because we were tourists. The bartender said “Done” in English, so that’s very telling. Your answer was intended to distract from the fact that you provided poor customer service, which I have never experienced in Germany. Once again you turned away two locals and I'm still convinced that you were prejudiced against tourists.
(Translated by Google) The opening times are incorrect. We arrived at 10:45pm and were not served. However, a man at the bar had a full beer. Unfriendly and cold if you're not a local.
