I cannot speak better words from this place, I'm in absolute love with it! Please consider visiting if you find yourself in the area! Have a flamekuchen up on the terrace, truly amazing sites all around and better when the weather is inviting! Summer months usually. Consider bringing the family or your better half to see!

The Staufenberg Castle was the highlight of out trip to the black-forest region! It's a beautiful castle on a hill. The view is simple to die for! We drove right up to the castle parking and then walked up to their terrace cafe/ restaurant. To sip cool wine on a hot sunny day and watch the sun go down was an amazing experience. We tried couple of different flammkuchen and risotto. All of which we delicious. This is definitely a place we will go back to!

Lovely wine tasting of three wines. Best was the white and rosé. Nice dining options as well. Try the focasia as it is simply the best. The sweet Flammkuchen was also really something as dessert.

I don't understand the reviews made earlier. I have been to this place on at least five occasions. I just have been last week and bought five cases of wine. I like their wines for everyday drinking, as I think the price/quality ratio is good. For a cooperative I find they are making decent wines, that's what I come here for. The service can be a bit stretched on occasions, depending how many people are in the shop and how many are behind the counter. But, in general service was good, they happily pour you one wine after the other. I never used their online service, so cannot comment. But, bear in mind that you are dealing with a German winery and their level of English might not be that brilliant!
