Lovely day out. Can stroll the dog there. Plenty to see. This month was sun flowers field and strawberry picking. We went in August. Quite big indoor supermarket with great food choices and lots of freshly bake goods.
Great place to visit, we go every year for the pumpkin fest which is fantastic and seems to get better year on year. Lots of photo opportunities and plenty of fun things for kids to enjoy like the barrel ride and maize maze. Great food and live music. The farm shop is a little pricey but that's what you expect with farm shops, you get what you pay for. The cafe has amazing afternoon teas which are themed for the time of the year, we have had the autumn and xmas ones and both were delicious.
We had a lovely time here in the autumn darkness, lit by fun and lights and flame throwers and live music. I suppose it is for youngsters but who cares, we all enjoyed the evening. The shop was great too. I put 4 stars because of a small niggle that we also found the last time we visited for the tulips. It's the cost of all the extras, particularly the food and drink which of course are an integral part of the visit. The burgers and hot dogs were nice and fairly priced, but my pizza was small and dry, even crispy, with little topping and yet cost £15 which is restaurant price. And the pumpkins were so expensive when you compare to say tesco. I realise there was a huge range and some were very large but it occurs there were thousands of the things laying to waste and £20 is a lot. I just dont want the night to turn into a commercial grabbing enterprise where the entry fee more than doubles by the time you've eaten and drank and bought a fluffy pumpkin. £1.50 for a single marshmallow? Come on, give everyone a marshmallow or three. That leads to my only other niggle which is that there didn't seem to be any staff patrolling for help or to control people. In the field, where we could load a barrow, were people standing on pumpkins for fun, and kids kicking them, and that got me a bit annoyed. Just behave. Of course, we came away with a happy glow and can't wait to return.
WOW!!!! i had the absolute best time in this place. i had seen this farm shop on google maps, and we initially just came to charge the car, but decided to pop in during this time. such an incredible farm shop. clearly in the autumn / halloween theme, lots of items such as jellycats, mugs and socks! love that they work with local farmers and butchers to sell their produce. also had a great bakery, deli and milk machine. also attached was a restaurant on site that we need to check out before the end of our holiday! the toilets were lovely and clean, i loved the old-fashioned pull chain to flush the loo! so vintage! one of the best farm shops i’ve visited to date, i cannot wait to come back!
First time visiting last night for the pumpkin night and it was absolutely brilliant! Set up very well to avoid queues, easy parking, tickets were sold out but it didn’t feel like it had been over sold like many places do. Great band playing, food orders were given buzzers to let you know when it’s ready for collection, no queues for the toilets. Lots going on but spread out nicely inside and out so easy to dodge the showers too. Such a variety of pumpkins, all shapes, sizes & colours! Great for all the family & ages, we will definitely be back next year! Thank you! 🌟
This is definitely a must visit place. At present there is a pumpkin fest for children during the day and adults in the evening. We didn't take part in either as we were (as usual) stopping for a meal break in the restaurant on our long journey to visit relatives in Cornwall. The restaurant is amazing, the food is local, much homemade and home grown. Whilst that alone is absolutely first class, the staff of which many are very young are truly amazing, wonderful, polite young people who do themselves and Strawberry Fields proud. Whilst there we always visit the farm shop and gift shop. Both of these are a must visit too especially if you like home made /local produce and products including bread, cakes, pickles, chutneys, jams, curds, chocolate even candles and soaps to mention but a few. Then there's the amazing 'proper' butchery, again, kind, patient knowledgeable staff, I could go on and on in support of this amazing place and support for British Farmers so I'll end my review by saying "just visit and enjoy the experience" but don't forget a big bag or two to carry allyour purchases home - who could resist freshly laid dippy eggs, freshly baked bread for soldiers washed down with a glass of fresh milk!!
Lush stop off spot on our way down to Cornwall. Good facilities, lovely breakfast in the restaurant. The car charging points are very handy and we enjoyed the pick your own strawberries and the selection of produce in the farm shop.
I visited Strawberry Fields for the Pumpkin Fest event on Saturday evening and was absolutely blown away by everything. The attention to detail, the decoration, the entertainment and delicious food. I have been to many Halloween and pumpkin events over the years and this one definitely met way beyond my expectations. Thank you to Strawberry Fields for an amazing evening, we will definitely be back for more of your events

Dinner here in the dining room was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend their steaks. Fish was also brilliant. Sticky Toffee Pudding was a proper job.
Booked a birthday meal here - specifically asked for the Restaurant side rather than bar (as I've been here dozens of times before) drove 45 minutes to get here only to be told thru had a private party in the restaurant and best they could do was to seat us in the bar area. If I wanted a pub meal, I wouldn't choose The Arundell as there are better value options, the value at The Arundell is 'usually' a very good level of service. After this, I won't be back - shame as I've been coming here for 10 years.
Fantastic welcome from Jackie. Amazing execution on the menu and food. Pretty exceptional wines. Room was a bit tired but the bathroom was a massive dissatisfaction. No hot water in shower, loo seat broken and hairs over and in bath. Would definitely return for the restaurant and service overall, although was shocked being told hot water WAS being sorted. Obviously not for us though!
Had a lovely roast dinner today, staff were absolutely amazing, food was beautiful, such a chilled atmosphere 🤩
Great place to stay if you have a dog. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Highly recommend.
Ate at the Bar and Grill.... amazing food. House cider was sweet and delicious. Found this gem by chance... so glad.
Popped in for a late lunch today and food and service was 5 star. We have booked to go back again on Monday evening.
Lunch set menu was very good value for money. My menu choices were both excellent but my partner felt that her Spanish omelette was a tad salty and that her paella main was more like a risotto but she still enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly and polite.
