Rented a road bike from RockVelo Cycling & Tours in Škrilje. Axel is extremely friendly and professional, with extensive knowledge of road bikes. He adjusted the bike perfectly for me and then created a beautiful route that matched my level and preferences. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with rolling hills and vast vineyards – perfect for exploring by bike. Top-quality bikes and excellent service – all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

We did a family MTB ride (with 8 year and 11 year old kids). Alex and his wife gave us a perfect experience! Bikes and accesoiries in perfect condition! The family route on Komoot was perfect (with cellphone golfers easy tonfollow)! A good mix of gravel routes, easy climbs and storytelling in de city centre of Ajdovščina. After our trip he was very interested about our experience during the trip... Very friendly people and would come back when I am in Slovenië!

Wowow Alex is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with any recommendations on food, places to stay and of course the routes, he prepared one especially for us which made our journeys so much easier. The road bike was also tailor made for us and the area is just amazing with the views, local vineyards, cafes and super friendly people who hosted us during our small accident - we caught a flat tire and thanks of course to Alex we were able to fix it :) Must see and we’ll come back, Thanks again!

We visited Matjaz and his wonderful vineyard - without a doubt one of the most idyllic and memorable stays on our journey through Europe. Rarely have we encountered such warm and welcoming people as Matjez and his team. We slept in our car with a rooftop tent, surrounded by the very vines that produced the wine in our glasses. A truly magical experience. During our stay, we took part in a wine tasting where we sampled eight fantastic wines, each with its own unique character and story. Naturally, we ended up bringing several bottles home with us. Matjaz took the time to show us around the production and shared his inspiring story. How he started with nothing and built a truly remarkable wine business. It was both moving and fascinating to hear about his passion and dedication to the craft. An experience we will never forget, and one we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who appreciates great wine, beautiful nature, and genuine hospitality.

We absolutely loved our visit to the T.I.L.I.A. Estate Winery. We showed up without a reservation. Mojca met us at door and offered a tasting in the cellar. The pours were generous, and she was a knowledgeable and fun hostess. We briefly met the owner who was also very fun. The vineyards are small but mighty. We'd definitely recommend this visit to others!

My wife and I happened to get served by the owner. We had a great conversation about his winery, how he got in the business, etc. And of course the wine was good too.

By far this was the best wine tasting experience I’ve had. The staff were extremely welcoming and personable! Mojca was very knowledgeable about the wines and made us feel at home and comfortable.

Amazing personal wine tasting experience. Peter was able to see us on very short notice and even picked us up when we were lost in the woods on our hike up. The wine tasting was the perfect combination of passion and expertise. Not to mention, the wines were delicious for all tastes. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Toured this amazing vineyard with the great guys from Winestronaut tours. The tasting room is new with a commanding view of the Vipava Valley. Peter is a terrific winemaker and host. Call and schedule a tour with him and/or the Winestronaut guys can drive you there- you will love it. Our favorites were the local Zelen and his Tressa Rdece red blend!

Wonderful wine tasting in an amazing place on the top of the hill. Really great wines paired with local homemade gourmet products. We had a good surprise with the rosé ! Moreover the kindness of Boris brought added value to our experience. Highly recommend !!! 🍷

We made an appointment for a wine-tasting at short notice and are very happy that it worked out. A lot of time was taken for us and both the wines and the food there very tasty. It was a great atmosphere due to both the great location and the pleasant guide. The time flew by and we will gladly come again.

Splendid location with a superb view over the Vipava Valley and, of course, Peter‘s wines are a revelation!
