Great tasting, fantastic food. Very hospitable owners. Highly recommend for couples or groups.
Personalized service, excellent quality product-some of the best steak we have ever eaten-romantic scenery with stocked fireplace and jacuzzi, the wines are amazing, and the attention to detail from Silvia, Jaume and Farners was 5 star. Highly recommeded for wine lovers!
Amazing afternoon with excellent wines and Catalan food. We went for a visit and were taken by surprise as this is a beautiful experience. To taste the excellent wines with their personal touch in combination with the catalan food in the breathtaking surroundings, really is something that you must do if you are in the Figueras / Roses area. The winery is run with passion and nice history. The wines are excellent. The food is tastefull. The tour is even better. Make sure you take yourself at least one day away from the beaches and promenades and enjoy the hospitality and tranquillity of this winery. It will bring you a special day to remember.
Must go location, beautiful and good food
Delightful place and experience of paired wines with tapas!
Fantastic experience! The view, the owner and staff, the wine and food, the room..everything was top quality. Even their cute dog! Masia Serra will have a place in our hearts forever and we will definitely return someday. In the meantime, we brought some wines back to the Netherlands so we can go back in thoughts.
Great wines and surroundings

Please book ahead of time as the groundskeeper will ask for the tour language and will send you exact directions and some advice on how to get to the castle, the drive up the mountain is not asphalted and might not be for the faint of heart or most cars. However it’s quite spectacular drive up the castle. The tour itself is around 1 hour long, we had it in Spanish. We learnt a lot about the history of the area, the castle, the renovations and local fauna. We also got to explore the entire castle.
Beautiful castle. Prepare for an off road drive. Very narrow and pulse racing if your don't like heights. Wonderful views along the way of the mountains. If you want to see inside the castle plan ahead and reserve a tour. Small parking at the top, then a little uphill hike. Worth it for the views.
A very secluded beautiful castle with ALLOT of history. We had a fantastic tour provided by the guides. I do hope the family manage source the funds to fully restore the castle it its beauty. Important Notes : (1) track to the castle NEEDS a car with GOOD ground clearance as its a very rocky, undulating, narrow forest track with minimal passing points. 4x4 would be ideal but passible with a good size family car. (2) Minimal facilities on site, pack water and visit the WC before you go.
Unfortunately only open on Saturdays outside of the season. But even closed the castle is impressive from the outside and one can walk around it. The walk from Cantallops to the castle is nice and not too steep.
Stunning castle with so many nooks and crannies. Road conditions to it poor but well worth the effort to see this little gem.
Very pretty spot but not easy to access and open only a few hours a day so unfortunately we didn’t get to go inside :(
I am sure you can get there with some cars, but be aware that you may be unable to. It requires 30-35 minutes driving on a road with very poor condition which may damage your car. We ended up turning around. The view is beautiful though, and I’m sure it is even more so from the castle. Just make sure you are aware of the condition of the road and that you and the car are fine with it.
Visiting feels very different from the usual tourist attraction. First, there is the remote location, surrounded by mountains as far as the eye can see. Everything is part of the vast estate. And there is driving there over six kilometres of gravel road through valley and around steep mountain side, passing through cork oak forest. It is a mini adventure just getting there and well worth the trip. Forget manicured castles with hundreds of tourists and gift and coffee shops. This is just raw castle and fascinating to explore. Loved it. Top of my list for castles to visit

When driving back to France we needed to find a lunch restaurant not too far from the autoroute. We found this restaurant using Google Maps and with great reviews we took our chance. Well, we were not disappointed. Fantastic food, service, location and quality. Just go.
Some new people running it since December We 22 of us for an apéro nice friendly service good value. It’s been refurbished and hardly recognizable from its former rather «  rustic «  days Recommend and we’ll be back. Visit the Theater while you’re there, celebrating over 100 years of “societe bars “
Lovely terrace and good food.
(Translated by Google) Ideal for breakfasts, snacks, meals that are as simple as they are good. The sandwich with wood-fired bread, brutal!! Friendly, welcoming in a very pleasant environment. It is the building of the former Concordia consortium. A very beautiful story that is perpetuated and can be seen in the decoration of the premises. Essential!!! Imprescindible!!!
(Translated by Google) Change of direction! The Café de la Concordia is reborn from the ashes! Cantallops deserves this completely renovated place, with great taste. We highlight the covered breakfasts at €8.50, the possibility of sandwiches, and a good menu that does not lack a detail but does not charge. The formidable atmosphere, you will find us many days in this quiet corner of the Alt Empordà.
(Translated by Google) A simple place with good cuisine. The place is the typical village cafe. They have a menu and a la carte. On Sunday the menu costs 15 euros.
