A beautiful day and perfect weather.
Great and easy hiking trail to climb to the top; the scenery along the trail overlooks vineyards and little hamlets and is awesome for picture taking. The view from the top of the rock is breathtaking!
Beautiful view from the top! Nice walk. It took us with 2 kids (8/9 years) about 90 minutes in total, including chilling for 30 minutes at the top.
Popular hike it seems, quite a lot of people did the walk to the top which has a very nice view over the area. It took us +-30mins, for 1.7km. You can start at one of the (free) parkings, there should be enough place. We did the descent via Combe Robat til the town of Vergisson. Finally through the vineyards back to the parking. You can follow the yellow marks. This direction is very quiet and more fun. Our daughters of 8 and 11 joined us, and in total we walked 6km.
Very nice place to visit to get a view over the pouilly fussé vineyards. Quite an easy walk up from the parking place. Apparently Francois Mitterrand used to walk the hill once a year. There is also a museum, which was closed when we were there
Beautiful view! Fun and sporty walk!
A great place for a half-day trip if you're based nearby. Great views, nice holiday atmosphere. The path is somewhat difficult as it goes up, but it's worth it.
Wonderful views after a manageable climb. An important prehistorical site, An excellent museum and outdoor tour of the archaeological sites.

Really interesting and informative museum and exhibits showing the history of Soultré and surrounding region. This, combined with excellent walks to the top and spectacular views make it a must visit site if you're in the area.
Very interesting history of the area
Great little museum right on the hunting grounds of prehistoric man. Good audio guide included in the 5€ entrance fee. Well worth a visit.
Very interesting archeological site. The museum is quite informing about the history of manhood.
(Translated by Google) A very interesting and informative exhibition. Also very suitable for children. The location is beautiful, and you can combine the visit with a hike. I also recommend the small café a few meters away. You can park for free a short distance from the museum, and then there's just a short climb.
(Translated by Google) Built into the mountain, below the Roche de Solutré, a beautiful and well-curated prehistoric museum with artifacts found on site 🏹⚱️🦬🐆🐎 It's not very big and it's quick to visit, but it's worth it as it has truly quality finds including bones, artifacts, primitive jewelry, etc.! The explanations on television are beautiful, even humorous ones that children might enjoy. There is also a botanical walkway outside where you can see the old excavation sites with various explanations. All immersed in a magnificent natural landscape! 🌿 At the entrance/exit, a small shop with many nice things for children, such as illustrated books that simplify scientific explanations, puppets, and souvenirs that are not at all expensive. I was really intrigued by a little book made very well by two local artists, one who narrates the story and one who did the drawings. From the free outdoor parking lots to the museum, it's just a 5-minute walk. After visiting the museum, you can take a nice hike to the top of the rock and enjoy a fantastic view! Highly recommended! Consigliatissimo ! Top Rating S&P A

After our ski trip we visited this wine shop where we got an excellent wine tasting. Price/ quality very nice wines, no strings attached. Unfortunately, I forgot my ski jacket at the shop. Thomas was so kind to track me down and send the jacket to Belgium. I want to express once more my gratitude to him, making such an effort over a period of months to find the right owner. I will definitely come by again!
We visited here at the afternoon opening time on 15.09.25. Embarassingly I cannot recall the lady who served us but she was brilliant. We spent nearly an hour discussing the wines in French at a slightly slower pace to accommodate my ability. She explained everything and was able to answer all our questions. As a result of this ... we were very happy to buy a dozen bottles and would definitely recommended this outfit.
Great service and selection of wine! The lady working there was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the domains and wines in the region and burgundy. Would definitely recommend!!
Visited here very near closing time but Maud was very accommodating and stayed open just for us to enjoy our tasting. She was very knowledgeable about the wines we tasted and we were grateful to her for both her advice on purchasing and for remaining so late. Definitely worth a visit.
They excused my French and spoke ok English. Knowledgeable and interested. Offered an interesting tasting of Pouilly Fuisse parcels. Co-operation as well as producer wine on sale.
We were very welcomed by Maud ! She gave us very good advice and we spent a great time discussing wine and winery with her. I definitely recommend the place as a starting point to get to know more about the region.
Good choice of wines from different local wine growers. under one roof. You can taste the wines you like and there is no pressure to buy.
Excellent centre that exhibits the wines of Pouilly Fuissé. You can buy wines and do tastings.
