It is a great entertainment see, with beautiful beach and clear water. On the west side of the see, there is a BBQ place and a parking spot. Not far from the city, a nice relaxing location. Around 1 km, you can find a strawberry garden to pick up strawberries.

A lovely lake to spend a sunny day. It has a restaurant, public toilets and it seems clean. The only downside is how crowded it can get sometimes. Tons of families during the weekend. If you’re looking for a chill day at the lake, there may be better alternatives.

It's been always a fun to go to Karlsfelder See. During the heavy snow fall, there is an amazing sledding opportunity here. The picture attached is taken from the hill. There are also several grill places near to the lake. In summer its a huge grilling spot from the local people. There is a children playground in the other side of the lake where the beer garden is located. Almost throughout the year, its a prime track beside the lake for jogging and/or walking.

Easy to reach by public transportation, personnel super friendly and helpful. 3 different varieties of strawberries, and all delicious. No entrance fee, you can taste a little and the price is very accessible. Wish it was open for longer. I will hopefully come back next year!!
