If you’re already there, it’s best to head to the neighbouring beach just behind the restaurant. It’s much quieter, with fewer people – and at the far end, there’s even a small area for nude swimming.

We walked from where we were staying. Took us about 30 minutes. Two beach areas. One side away from the restaurant is family friendly shallow waters. Pass the shower and over the rocks is a sandy beach area, but less shaded.

Trapezaki Beach the best beach I've ever been too so far.. Its a cracking sandy beach the water is very clean and clear.. There's a lovely beach bar playing chilled music.. And if you want a lovely lunch about a 5 minute walk you have Denis restaurant absolutely outstanding food.. I'll be back again next year..

Overall great experience with Happy mood. We rented a 125ccm scooter and it was great. I booked the bike several days in advance and the communication with them was amazing. They delivered the bike to our studio and picked it up there as well. Everything was on time. I very much recommend Happy mood. You will not be disappointed.

Okay, so where to start! The owners of this small moped rental business are attentive, friendly and fun! Great service, brilliant handover and also, a mini tourist information centre as well! They talked us through the hire but they added so much value to our stay by recommending the must-see attractions in Kefalonia. Where they came into their own though was when we had a little mishap on the moped (well, my partner did anyway!). Not only were they genuinely concerned with his well being (even giving us a lift home after we dropped the moped back and checking in with us via text too); but they also went out of their way to show us how much the damage would cost - showing us their supplier’s website so we could see the cost for the damaged panels and decals. I cannot recommend this moped rental company highly enough. I don’t tend to make recommendations on Trip Advisor unless the service is exceptional. If I don’t like something, I prefer to tell the owner there and then. I don’t have any reservations in recommending Happy Mood Rentals. I’ve travelled extensively, and I’ve rented vehicles all over the world. This family-run company are truly concerned with providing an excellent service and breaking the ‘norm’ of moped rental companies who may not have your best interests at heart! If you’re on the beautiful island of Kefalonia and want a moped, please go and see them first. Aside from anything they are great value for money but I promise you, you will fall in love with this lovely couple and their business.

Amazing service from the owner of Happy Mood - they rented me a scooter in about 15mins (despite not being open!) and were incredibly helpful in suggesting locations to visit, dishes to eat, routes to take etc. They extended the rental after I'd found a great beach that I didn't want to leave and were really accommodating about the return of the scooter. The scooter itself (Sym 125cc) never missed a beat, and was comfortable to do a return journey of the full length of the island (100+km), including a trip to the top of Mount Ainos. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!
