It is a small hike. The road is wide and there are also small hiking paths, which are difficult to find. The view looks amazing on the top. Especially in autumn its more beautiful and picturesque. Car has to parked somewhere and climb. Its a short 1km path.

The ruins of a former castle are embeded in a natural park. A perfect spott for the little ones and the ones that are already young for many years. You can walk through the forest, learn about nature and the castle itself thanks to a couple of signs (in German). The view is nice and the best: You can enjoy it even throughout CoVid19 times.

I came across snake over there. Google maps tok me to narrow steep pathway from in between the woods. Since I was travelling through his space I even did not disturbed him. He tried to may be hide and rolled away. Never disturb animals in jungle. It is there home let them live there and don’t kill them.

Free ruined castle to visit in Nagold. It is beautiful and well preserved ruin. The hike from the park is vigorous.

We drove out of Stuttgart looking for a castle or two to view on a short December day. We found the ruins of Burg Hohennagold perched above the town of Nagold. It was somewhat of a pain to reach, at least for me. I must have missed a sign or something and went around the town twice. But we finally arrived and walked up to see it in the waning light. The castle was started around the year 1100 and passed through several owners until being destroyed (uninhabitable) towards the end of the Thirty Years War. It is still a nice walk and the views are great from the restored tower. Like many places in Germany it suffered during WWII and maybe one day it will be completely restored.

Very serene and beautiful park. The hill is also great for a jog or run. The castle top gives great views of Nagold town. You can bring your kids and they can have fun too. The climb is not difficult. Signs and directions are all over the hill so you will not be lost unless you really try 😅

Ausserdem bietet Frau Aldinger ein reichhaltiges Angebot an Gewürzen an... und natürlich Salz und Salzkristalutensilien in jeder Form. Da habe ich doch auch noch für meine Schwiegermutter die morgen Geburtstag hat etwas mit. When we checked in, our rooms AC was not working. They were, however, able to find us another room with no problems. It was very clean overall and the staff was so nice. The breakfast was included and was very good. The location of Nagold in the middle of the Black Forest is beautifully situated. It's a small picturesque town with beautiful buildings and good restaurants. The river that flows through it is so peaceful, and the spring water that flows from the taps is super clean and fresh as well as tasty. Loved the entire experience, and i highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean and efficient. Excellent service. Breakfast was well presented with a nice variety of food. Free coffee and tea service all day was much appreciated and an unexpected bonus. Our only dislike wss a lack of privacy in the toilet. Glass doors didn't offer the private atmosphere we prefer even as s married couple. I would still highly recommend this hotel.

Yesterday, October 16th, 2019 during our stay here...we did not have water in our room when we woke up. No sink, no shower, no toilet. Went for breakfast and reported to manager Stefan Deisinger....he was extremely rude and yelled at me " Yes you do ". Again we stated we did not from the time we awoke until reported. Very rude, discourteous representative of Ibis. If our stay depended on him..we would never come back. Luckily, it is not all like this jerk.
