Interesting fortress well worth the money 7 duro each - ran out of time so didn't get to see the source roc or whatever it's called. Nice artisans, very friendly, good tourist information centre - free motorhome aire on tarmac, quiet and seemed very safe
What a beautiful place, allow 2 hours to view it all including a walk to the little island in the river
Nice walk around castle ruins with plenty of information boards.
Lovely day out. Very quiet but I suppose it's the time of year. I will Definitely be come back
This pretty village set on the side of a river is a lovely spot to have a walk and look around. It is really photogenic - with quaint cottages, a water mill and a ruined castle on the top of a hill. Parking is available behind the castle.
Beautiful village, great views from the fort and information in French and English.
Beautiful place from the 12th century. Too sad it was closed for visit. The town is very beautiful too.

A great way to expand on what was essentially a short row of artwork. The video demonstrates tools in use, I thought I knew a fair amount but this showed me more! They are in a tricky position as the owner of the land bequeathed it on the basis that the originals are CLOSED to the public, but that replicas are shown. I had to read that a few times to understand it! The price for both attractions I feel was very fair. Definitely recommend.
This is a good exhibition. They’ve made the replica frieze really interesting and atmospheric with sound, silhouettes and an excellent video depicting the life of people at that time. There were actually a few QR codes for English translation. The staff gave us a leaflet in English. It’s a more educational than tourist experience (no cafe). I would have liked more about Suzanne Cassou de Saint Mathurin and more interactive elements. Important to recognise the replica is created to respect Suzanne’s wishes and to keep the original safe from corrosion forever.
Very informative movie and walkway towards the cinema room, but a lot of unexplored opportunities in the outside area. I hope they'll get funding for that. A unique site like this deserves it.
A bit disappointed. Couldn’t actually see the real thing but there was a representation and other interesting things. Playground for children as well
Lovely place on our way to UK to rest and straight our legs and have picnic lunch
We had pretty much the whole place to ourselves due to it being not so popular. This place has so much potential for more, as a venue of science, instead of the rumour of it getting shut down. I hope we will get a chance to visit again.
Nice interactive visit. Castle down the street too. Really nice village.
I must admit,I expected more than a filmed dialog.. But, Interresting

A beautiful village with a ruined castle. Very scenic. There is also a reproduction of prehistoric rock engravings, but l heard it had closed down.
There is a reason it is the prettiest village in France! Recommended!
Great little place.
Idyllic mid rural France
(Translated by Google) Very pretty village. On the other hand, lack of restaurants! Only one open in high season is a bit tight and we also learned that it was going to be closed..... (Original) Très joli village. Par contre, manque de restaurants ! Un seul ouvert en pleine saison c'est un peu juste et nous avons en plus appris qu'il allait fermé.....
(Translated by Google) Very well received, explained to us everything we could see during our walk, I recommend, thank you very much 👏👌 (Original) Très bien accueillie nous a expliqué tout ce que l'on pouvait voir pendant notre promenade je recommande, merci beaucoup 👏👌
(Translated by Google) one of the most beautiful villages in France. THE view from the bridge over the river is superb. Pretty castle (Original) l'un des plus beaux villages de France. LA vue depuis le pont sur la rivière est superbe. Joli château fort
