I had a lovely tasting at the Domaine. They graciously took the time to do a tasting despite the frenzy of the next day's start of harvest. I enjoyed all the different iterations of chenin blanc, and each cab franc I tasted was better than the last. Highly recommended!
Booked ahead on phone for me and my daughter. Keen to visit this domain after recommendation. Despite little French spoken by us & similar from Madame in English, Sylvie (granddaughter of Olga) & us could converse well enough ... we enjoyed about 6 different wines mainly cab. francs as expected but some chenin blancs & a rose too. Excellent wines and helpful descriptions & insights given by our hostess (we found a way to understand each other :) We brought home some lovely chinons (cab fr), some aged / further mature, some to drink young & fresh. Found room for some chenin blancs too, lovely wines here.
We were able to have a full 1h tasting without a reservation and right before closing time thanks to Estelle. And the wine… the wine!! Just wonderful Chinon, be it red, white or rosé. Came in wanting to buy a few bottles and left with a few cases 🍷
Domaine Olga Raffault produce amazing wine. Some of the best Chinon I have tasted. Fruity round flavours cherry backcurrent long taste and smooth on the mouth. I would compare their wines to any bordeux or burgundy and it keeps and improves for years. It is an added bonus that my visits have been enhanced by the happy welcome and attention I get from the winemakers who are passionate about the quality and standard they work hard to produce. Great wine believe me
Great experience and super wines! Thanks a lot to Ms Estelle!
(Translated by Google) When you visit the website, it says that Whit Monday hours may vary, but it says "open" and it's closed when you arrive...it's a shame they don't update your website better than that. We would have loved to taste and buy this wine!
(Translated by Google) We can only give 5 stars! Welcome and tasting to perfection! We obviously left with a box (delivered because we were on bike, it would have been nice with the box of wine...) So yes you can have the bottles delivered anywhere in France (and I believe also in some neighboring countries) (Original) On peut mettre que 5 étoiles !
(Translated by Google) Very warm welcome, the tasting is provided with several whites and reds. The bottles come from bunches from different plots (plateau, hillside, flat land).

A gem of a museum discovered by accident! Modern art, anthropology, and local archeology and prehistory. Very glad we decided to stop - highly recommended.
Want to see sculptures by Rodin or Max Ernst? Paintings by Alexander Calder or Albrecht Duerer? Then the “Faire Monde” exhibition is the place to visit. What makes the visit even more worthwhile is the fact that “Faire Monde” is about social and cultural anthropology - at a time when the powerful in the world have brutally and cynically reduced everything to purely transactional categories and “deal making”.
(Translated by Google) I participated in the museum's sensory tour during the European Museum Night. It's a unique experience where you're guided by the voice of the guide as you journey through the works around you. A big plus: you can enjoy a picnic at one of the many tables in the park. I had a wonderful time and I thank the staff for their hospitality.

We had a great time, the museum is very diverse and great for children, very fun, they loved it, the animals outside are accessible and clearly visible, the gentleman present answered the children's various questions, we will come back with pleasure! We would have liked to find more souvenirs with the image of the museum (magnets, souvenir coins, key rings, etc.) (Original) Génial ! (Translated by Google) Great visit but with one BIG drawback! Perfect welcome and very interesting exhibition, also accessible to children with dedicated activities. The downside concerns the walk in the park: the excess weight and the very poor condition of their hooves prevent the horse and the donkey from moving and cause them pain. Yet there is all the necessary equipment in the courtyard. Can you take care of them please? It breaks my heart. Merci d'avance 🙏🙏🙏
