A fun and informative tour!
Very pleasant beergarden and good service. Everything looks very traditional and so you really feel your are in the heart of the Black Forest. Unfortunately, we couldn't sample the very tempting beers because we were riding motorbikes :'(
Although quite interesting, the tour does not take you through the beer production area. It is an informative walk through a museum with a two beer tasting included in the price of the "Sammler Ticket" for Euro 12,30 at the end of the experience; however, if you want to see hear, see and smell the actual beer production, you will be sadly disappointed. In addition, the tour guide, Daniela was very cold and stand offish. She appears to have brought her personal baggage from home to the workplace and is very generous with jabs and digs. Her lack of professionalism can easily be construed as rude, insulting and beyond hurtful. Her last petty attempt to enrage was, "Wir haben Euch das Land genommen." Translation: "We took your country from you."
One of my favourite German brewers so it's great to be able to visit the shop here. Many beers of course, but also some very nice schnapps available and lots of other items (glasses, mugs, tee-shirts, etc) available in the shop. The prices are a little high, but also very good quality and great tasting beers!
Having enjoyed the beer on my previous visits to the Black Forest, felt it was worth going to the Brewery for the tour. Went hoping the tour would be in English, but unfortunately not. Thankfully the tour was still enjoyable thanks to an English factsheet equivalent to the tour speeches, and the included beer mug and beers from the underground beer hall certainly helped.
(Translated by Google) The brewery tour (€9.70) was very interesting, detailed, informative, and humorous. The subsequent beer tasting (two varieties per person) was fantastic. A must-do while you're there. Highly recommended! (Original) Die Brauereiführung (9,70€) war sehr interessant, detailliert, informativ und humorvoll. Die anschließende Bierverkostung (je Person 2 Sorten) war Genial. Ein Muss, wenn man da ist. Sehr zum empfehlen!
(Translated by Google) The tour of the museum was very well-done and interesting. The friendly guide led us through the museum with a sense of humor, giving us an insight into the brewery and the brewing process. Afterward, we were treated to two beers and a beer stein. Absolutely worth a visit if you're in the area.
(Translated by Google) Experience a guided tour of the nearby monastery and brewery. The monastery only had a German-speaking guide, and we were given an informational brochure. Every now and then, the guide would say a few phrases in English here and there (very kind, she didn't have to). We had an audio guide for the brewery, while the guide explained things in German (a shame, because it explained much more than the audio guide and was very engaging). The tour ended with a tasting of two 33cl beers, two farmer's sausages, a pretzel, a shot of beer schnapps, and a 33cl beer mug at the gift shop. All this for €21.90. A very nice tour, but English-speaking guides are needed!!!

Very nice church with a very special organ. You only get to see three of those world wide.
Interesting place to wander round, with many of the ancient buildings intact. The domestic rooms (cells and warming room) are only available as part of the guided tour (in German only.) Friendly staff.
Interesting place in a beautiful town. Receptionist and ticket office spoke English, but tour guide was not offered in other language than German, which was kind of a let down. The book guide given was very informative, but not comparable to having a tour guide explain certain things. Overall, enjoyable activity to do. Gift shop was nice. Organ in kloister was one of a kind.
Superb ! Make sure to visit the Museum and the old brewery. And of course the brewery's retail shop 🍺 🍻
Nestled in the Black Forest, conveniently located next to the Alpirsbach Bauhaus. One of the oldest standing cloisters in the region. Tours of the cloister as well as a small museum are available throughout the day.
Amazing place. place that inspires religiosity and history.
Very interesting architecture and loads to learn about the history of the Kloster. Friendly staff will help you with anything you need.
Tasty beer friendly staff. Well worth the visit!
