(Translated by Google) Lovingly restored three-sided courtyard. With inventory from the 19th century to the middle of the 20th century. Well-kept rare utensils and items. Nice garden and clean yard. The attraction for our granddaughter was an outhouse, the horse-drawn sleigh and a wedding dress. (Original) Liebevoll restaurierter Dreiseithof. Mit Inventar aus dem 19. Jahrhundert bis zur Mitte des 20. Jahrhundert.
(Translated by Google) The farmers' museum in Zabeltitz is a true gem. Here, the hard life of a farming family at the beginning of the 20th century is lovingly recreated in a three-sided courtyard built around 1810. Old photos with appropriate explanations give a good picture of the former residents. There used to be plenty of these, as up to ten people lived here. The individual parts of the building and exhibits are also well documented and explained. The complex also has clean toilets for visitors. My personal highlight was the move-out apartment, as I was not familiar with this tradition. When the farmer handed the farm over to his heir, he and his wife would retreat there. The heir now had to provide housing, maintenance and care for the “emigrants”, recorded in a contract and valid until death. Strong stuff! All in all, a very attractive museum at an absolutely fair price of 2 euros per person. Thank you very much for this experience!
(Translated by Google) At first glance, the farmer's museum is not particularly noticeable from the outside; it looks like a beautifully decorated half-timbered house with a three-sided courtyard. What caught our attention was the cart standing in front of it with all sorts of old household items and tools. The owners (?) asked us and other passers-by if we would be interested in visiting. Entry costs 2 euros for adults, which is more than moderate, so we went straight in. Inside you will find furnished rooms, kitchens, cellars, workshops, stables, everything like grandmother's or, for many, great-grandmother's times. Anyone who is not too young can still recognize many objects. My spontaneous exclamation “It’s like grandma’s here” had some people nodding in agreement. Everything is well preserved and maintained, and you can also read about the history of the farm and the lives of the farmers. A visit is worth it for everyone. The museum is not very big, you don't have to plan hours to visit it. But you can feel like you've been transported back in time. Highly recommended! Sehr empfehlenswert!
(Translated by Google) With great attention to detail and countless pieces of equipment, the museum provides an exciting insight into former farming life. Three-sided farm with two floors, farm garden, goats and chickens, "glass" beehive, delicious apple juice and cake from our own harvest.

(Translated by Google) Four of us spontaneously visited this museum and were given a spontaneous, in-depth and knowledgeable tour by an employee who was clearly very familiar with the subject The farm is beautifully structured and equipped with a large collection of historical agricultural machinery, garden tools and household interiors. They try successfully not to turn it into a hodgepodge of stuff. Given the rather symbolic entrance fee of 2 euros, we get five stars for this!
(Translated by Google) Not the usual local history museum, but a realistic representation of rural life around 100 years ago. Anyone interested in the history of everyday life should definitely visit this remarkable 'farming museum'. A well-made audio guide, accessible via smartphone, rounds off the experience.
