The Toroan waterfall is an unexpected gem that left me in awe. I never anticipated finding such a breathtaking place in this region, and it truly felt like a hidden treasure. The sight of a waterfall right beside the sea was nothing short of magical, creating a unique and mesmerizing experience. Despite the relatively long journey it took to get there, the visit was incredibly rewarding. What's even better is that the entrance tickets were quite affordable, with no signs of extortion, costing approx. IDR 5K per person. This made the experience even more enjoyable, knowing that it didn't break the bank. While the natural beauty of the waterfall is undeniable, there's potential for further improvement in the surrounding areas by the local government. Enhancing the infrastructure and facilities could undoubtedly elevate this already spectacular spot into a more accessible and comfortable destination for visitors to enjoy.
Toroan Waterfall in Ketapang District, Sampang Regency, Madura Island, East Java Province. Toroan Waterfall becomes a tourist attraction together with Toroan Beach, in which the water sourced from a river that originates on the mountainous area of Madura Island flows into the Java Sea, ended up being a waterfall that falls on the edge of the beach. This tourist attraction offers completely beautiful panoramic view of waterfall, beach, also sunset if we visit it in the afternoon. © Aswin Nobby Susanto, 2017.
good view waterfall and area was in the main road so access so easy. free entrance ticket but for car parking have to pay 10.000 rupiah per car. access to waterfall from parking area not too far just walking go down by around 20 stairs. can not swimming in this waterfall area, you can see this announcement when you arrive at the waterfall. not too touristy here so you easy get a good picture,
A cool waterfall near the beach, not too crowded. People aren't allowed to bath in the waterfall. The rocks are quite slippery. Free entry, only pay for parking. There's still lots of small animals on the beach like hermit crab and little fishes. There's quite a lot of trash near the beach, so those who read this, please don't litter. 🙏
Such a peaceful and beautiful place! The best time to go here is sunset(which unfirtunately, I can not see the sunset there because I went there in the rainy season). But taking picture here in blue hour is also great. I spent a night here just to take photos in Blue Hour. The people who own the parking lot is very very friendly. But maybe, if you can not speak Indonesian, it would be rather difficult because very few people here can speak english. Some even can not speak Indonesian, only Madura Language.
Best mini waterfall ! Although need 3 to 4 hours to get there from surabaya. But its worth it, got a nice sunset view and fresh water from the waterfall, the waterfall itself falldown through to sea and have an clear view of water. Nice one !
small waterfall, but has an easy access, near the public road. the panorama at sunset is very beautiful. you can go down below the waterfall to take some pictures, but be careful because there are many rocks around there. still it's one of several popular waterfall in Madura Island. it's recommended place to visit when you're in Madura.
Several years ago when i first visited this place, it was nice, everything is made by nature, but today i saw huge improvements that makes it even better. There is even a cafe! Well done, Sampang!
