This place is quite good for families. Many street food stalls to buy. Many attractions and playgorunds for kids.
Riesna B — Google review
Children love this place. Educating and entertaining. Learning about animals and livestock, also having fun with the toys and the playground. Located in the city centre, so easy access. One thing I am not fancy about is that some corners have smelly environment, also bit dirty.
Kiakiokiko K — Google review
One of the park that also have playground and animal farms. Great for kids.
Irwan G — Google review
After pandemic era, the infrastructures look very new and so geeat to have hanging out for all Blitarians ans visitors. But unfortunately, there are not enough dustbins so that alot of visitors throw the garbages away around the area. Please the government should notice this comment to improve the performance of Kebon Rojo as the public green area in Blitar Town. Again and again, the water availability to wash the hand as announced by the national TV is not well served since there is no water closet or washer in this area.
Dion D — Google review
Perfect place to go with our family. There were : free ticket small zoo, beautiful park, kids game vehicles, street foods. Cheap tourism destination.the best is : near mosque!

Bung Karno's Grave

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Bung Karno's Grave is a mausoleum that serves as a museum showcasing the life of Indonesia's first president, Sukarno, who led the country from 1945 to 1967. The site features various statues and portraits of Sukarno and displays personal belongings used throughout his lifetime. Visitors can also purchase souvenirs and batik items at the stalls located outside the grave exit.
Bung Karno’s Grave is always crowded and definitely a well-known tourist spot. Usually, tour buses drop off visitors near the town square (alun-alun), and from there, you can take a becak (rickshaw) to the entrance. But if you're driving, you can also park near the library which is really nice, by the way! I’ve been here a few times, and I always enjoy visiting, especially because the library next to the grave site is well-maintained and worth checking out. On the way back, the route is a bit longer, and you’ll pass through a market area, which adds to the local experience.
Desy A — Google review
The grave is sort of a pilgrimage site for many Indonesians to honor their first president. Entry is by donation and you have to register. Inside, there is the grave and monument of the late Sukarno flanks by the the grave of his late parents. Surprisingly, there are staffs inside who are there to take your photos using your own device (please tip them appropriately). There is also a museum dedicated to his life and displaying gifts given to him during his presidency, a library, and upon exiting, a maze of shops selling souvenirs & snacks.
Harith J — Google review
Well organized for visitors flow, the maze through the souvenir vendors is kind of boring since they sell the same stuffs..
Tommy S — Google review
The historic place to learn about the first Indonesian president, Soekarno.
Wolfgang R — Google review
Good place to see the history of bung Karno (Soekarno) President RI Number 1. It has a Library and hero's tomb for people visiting. the views are a good and convenient place. Tickets are just Rp. 3000,-/people and many souvenirs and snacks for to take home.
Gon B — Google review
First time i visit Bung Karno grave in the night hihi. Nice place for knowing Indonesia “proklamator” history. You only need to pay 3000 for the entry ticket to the grave. In here library and museum but i cant see because must go back Surabaya u.u . The location is very easy to reach and large parkir area
Zahrina A — Google review
Well taken care site. It was not crowded when we visited the place. However, the exit was kinda long. We need to go through an alley of hundreds of souvenirs seller. It was nice to be able to visit our 1st President grave to pay our respect to him.

Sumber Udel Waterpark

Mentioned on
1 list
Water park
Sumber Udel Waterpark is a charming aquatic amusement park that offers a delightful escape for families and friends alike. With an array of water slides, both kiddie and adult swimming pools, serene waterfalls, and a lazy river to float along, it promises fun for everyone. While the park shows signs of age with some attractions not functioning as they once did, the affordable entrance fee makes it an attractive option compared to other local waterparks. Visitors can enjoy clean waters and spacious surroundings without feeling crowded.
This water park is definitely faded, the spray installations don’t work anymore, but entrance is cheap compared to other waterparks in the area; only 20.000 per person. Staff is nice, the water looks clean and we had the place to ourselves. Hiring a tube for the lazy River is another 10.000 and ice cream is 10.000 as well. Really good deal for an afternoon of fun and cooling down.
Tessa P — Google review
This waterpark is old already. Very much older than me 😁. It has improved a lot recently with the pools for kiddos, while still keeping the pools for pro swimmers. Located in the city centre, easy to find. Food are cheap, typical price in a small city, Blitar. Kiddos like this place!
Kiakiokiko K — Google review
I give it 4 stars. Some of the pools are clean, some are dirty. There are many bathrooms, but they feel spooky. I came on a non-holiday, so the atmosphere was very quiet, especially around the bathrooms. I quickly changed and left the area. But if that’s not a problem for you, then it’s not a big deal.
Draco M — Google review
Kind of normal swimming pool with additional coaster and fountain. The 3 to 4 water ground deep levels make it friendly for toodler and adult. I read before the entrance ticket is 15k for each but I think it would be increase to 20k during school break, national holiday or other peak season. My daughter love their bunny park
Bernet A — Google review
Legendary swimming pool in town. At night, the front yard of the entrance door becomes lesehan for all Blitarian people.
Andreas — Google review
There 4 choice pools according the depth. Slightly expensive compare with others in Blitar area. Seem that the most facilities need more regular maintenance.
Siswanto S — Google review
Very spacious, beautiful, and cool. There is a garden, a playground, a swimming pool, a gazebo, etc. Very suitable for family tours, lots of photo spots. Affordable entrance ticket prices. The parking area is also wide. I got lost the first time here.😄
Nik A — Google review
For those of you who like swimming, you can really visit this Udel source water park, in addition to its strategic location, the place is also nice to be used as a place for family recruitment. The entry fee is fairly cheap too guys.

Taman Pecut Kota Blitar

Mentioned on
1 list
City park
Taman Pecut Kota Blitar, also known as RTH, is a popular city center park located in downtown beside Aloon Aloon Blitar and near the train station. The park features a unique fountain resembling a hand holding a whip and is especially crowded on weekends, particularly at night when the artificial lighting around the fountain creates an enchanting sight.
Perfect place for night walk 🙏🏻 Good maintained, very clean, beautiful lighting and fountain combination. Having benches 💺to relax with greenery 🍁 🌳 💐 around . Paid toilet facility. Recommended for all kind of groups, love birds 💕, family with kids and friends . Thnk to the head of the area to make this place clean and beautiful. 😇

taman pecut or horsewhip park. iconic theme park at Blitar town also historical place. very nice place to visit with family and friends. this place have dancing water fountain. complete with public facility like live music, seating spot, gazebo, toilets and others.
Dedy I — Google review
Open garden space in front of Alun-alun Blitar. Have a beautiful water fountain with great lamp in the night. I think the sound system was sincronized with dancing fountain. The sound was heard loudly from the "Alun-Alun". During a pandemic, access to this park is restricted. We can see the fountain from outside of park. Nice place to gangout with family or friends.
Gatot S — Google review
This place is located in downtown beside Aloon Aloon Blitar and also near from train station. You can go to Taman Pecut by walking from train station. For now, make sure you won't go there in the middle of the day because trees are not high enough to cover us from sunlight. One and only in Blitar, water attraction will be doing on saturday night at 20.00 for hour. Happy holiday guys ^_^
Nur L — Google review
The most famous city park in town at the moment. There is beautiful dance fountain with artificial lighting show on every Saturday night 8-9 PM.

A new landmark for Blitar's Town. Actually they have water fountain from the beginning they open this place for public. But the Gov seems shut it down and only turn on in the weekend with the officers around.
Nunung A — Google review
Now the City of Blitar had a new green open space in the city center which was named Taman Pecut. Located just south of Aloon – Aloon Blitar, this park has a special attraction for the community. An interesting attraction is the appearance of a dancing fountain which is usually displayed on weekends

Area Museum Bung Karno

The Area Museum Bung Karno in Blitar is a must-visit for anyone interested in the life and legacy of Indonesia's Proclaimer. Nestled within the same complex as Bung Karno's Tomb, this museum offers an enriching pilgrimage experience. The spacious and well-maintained environment enhances your visit, making it not only informative but also enjoyable.
(Translated by Google) Visiting the Bung Karno Museum in Blitar is really exciting, especially for those of us who are curious about the life of the Proclaimer. This museum is located in the same complex as Bung Karno's Tomb, so it is easy to reach and makes the pilgrimage experience even more complete. As soon as we enter the museum, we are immediately greeted by various original relics of Bung Karno. Starting from a collection of rare photos that tell the story of his life, from childhood, the struggle for independence, to becoming the first President of Indonesia. There are also personal items such as clothes, command sticks, and various important documents. Everything is displayed neatly and informatively, so we can know the story behind each item. The dioramas and information panels in this museum are also really cool. They managed to present history in an interesting and easy-to-digest way, not boring at all. It feels like reading a history book, but in a three-dimensional version! Many visitors are happy to spend a long time observing every detail, while imagining the atmosphere in the past. The atmosphere inside the museum is also comfortable and clean, with the right lighting. Visitors are free to walk around and take pictures (of course while maintaining politeness and not damaging the collection). The staff are also friendly if we need help or want to ask further questions. In short, the Bung Karno Museum in Blitar is a place that must be visited. Not only can you look around, but it is also an effective means of learning history and raising our sense of pride as Indonesians. Truly an educational and inspiring experience!

(Translated by Google) When we mention the name Bung Karno, our minds immediately turn to the charismatic figure of the Proclaimer, a masterful orator, and the father of the nation who instilled a spirit of nationalism. In Blitar, a museum stands to commemorate and reconnect us with his life journey. The Bung Karno Museum is not just a building, but a space for encountering the history, ideology, and values that Soekarno bequeathed to the Indonesian people. The construction of this museum is inseparable from various backgrounds: ideological, historical, and empirical. Designed by architects Pribadi Widodo and Baskoro Tedjo from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), the museum was finally inaugurated on July 3, 2004, by President Megawati Soekarnoputri. Since then, the Bung Karno Museum has become an important historical destination, where the public can learn firsthand about the struggles of the Proclaimer. Upon entering the museum grounds, visitors are greeted by a statue of Bung Karno by Gregorius Sidharta, an artist from Yogyakarta. The statue depicts Bung Karno seated with a book, as if reminding us of his constant thirst for knowledge. This statue stands right in the center of the lobby, separating the museum and library. Inside the library, visitors can find a diverse collection of books chronicling the life and struggles of Bung Karno. Furthermore, a variety of interdisciplinary books are available for reference. Interestingly, there's also the 'iSoekarno' service, a digital application featuring hundreds of photos, several videos, and even digital books about Bung Karno that can be accessed via mobile devices. The journey continues into the museum. Here, history speaks through Bung Karno's personal belongings: the jacket he wore while preparing for independence, the suitcase that accompanied him in and out of prison, his peci (traditional Javanese skullcap), his glasses, and even his collection of keris (swords with a strong Javanese feel). There are also heirlooms such as the Gong Kiai Djimat (a traditional Javanese dagger) and the Keris Kiai Sekar Jagad (a type of dagger) that have been carefully preserved. One of the most famous collections is a painting of Bung Karno by I.B. Said, a court painter. This large painting, framed in a gold-wood frame, is said to be unique: upon closer inspection, the image of Bung Karno appears to be beating to the rhythm of a heart. A powerful symbol, as if emphasizing that Bung Karno's spirit still lives on in the heartbeat of this nation. Visiting the Bung Karno Museum is not just a tourist trip, but an intellectual and emotional pilgrimage. Behind every object, book, and painting, we are invited to contemplate the footsteps of a figure who laid the foundation for the founding of Indonesia. This museum is not just a collection, but a space for reflection to rekindle the flame of nationalism within us. Said, seorang pelukis istana. --- @ayikmultikarya

Great Coffee plantation ! It's more than a Coffee plantation, it's an historic place about dutch influence. You Can enjoy the museum, the photostudio, the nature around, the plantation itself, and of course the coffee-restaurant with various drinks and foods. I recommand !

Accessibility 4/5, attractions 3/5, amenities 3/5, food/drink 3/5. This tourist location was previously the owner's house, processing factory, warehouse and office of a coffee plantation owned by the Harta Mulia Company. This company was formed to manage the “Karanganyar” coffee plantation in 1960 after the cultivation rights of the previous plantation land were nationalized under the Indonesian agrarian law. After changing leadership several times, the family that owned shares in this company changed the main location to a tourist area as a diversification method to maintain the assets. This location offers several attractions in the form of the main building, which is a kind of museum, highlighting one of the rooms, said to have been used by the President of the Republic of Indonesia to rest when he visited the plantation in 1957. Apart from the main building attraction, there is also another museum containing a collection of clothes, medallions, musical instruments and weapons, specifically the Javanese traditional blades (keris) that are in the collection of the 20th Regent of Blitar, Herry Noegroho, who is the son of the late owner of this plantation. Overall, this tourist attraction is limited in presentation and does not provide a specific experience. Visitors are charged an entrance fee used as a voucher to be consumed at the café. Parking fee is not included. The food and drinks at this café are relatively ordinary and the coffee beverages -part of the main menu- were not well curated. Overall experience is rather average.

I loved the place. You feel like traveling in time, you can visit museums, take a walk in a beautiful coffee plantation, then have a great coffee, a delicious meal and spend full day in the garden if you want. Really enjoyed the energy of the place.

Oasis of tranquility mixed with interesting colonial heritage. Nature walk, coffee tasting, insight in coffee production, history, great food (try the tofu cabe garam it has no equal ☺️). Spend an afternoon here to unwind and breathe in fresh (coffee scented) air.

This place is fabulous ! We can drink a very good coffee directly coming from the plantation around you. The museums are great with a lot of intresting pieces of art and history, you will learn a lot about the history of blitar, about the customs of its inhabitant and also about the rich past of the place itself. If you want to relax, learn about coffee or having a cultural trip, this is the place to be.

Had a visit and overnight stat at their camping ground with friends. It's a bit far from main road, which makes it quiet and good for a camping activity. Good for education. Had a tour to the museum, coffee plantation and see the coffee processing facility. Also a live demo for coffee brewing. Nice camping ground with beautiful view. Don't forget to buy the coffee. Their excelsa coffee bean is recommended one.

Penataran Temple is the largest Hindu-Javanese temple complex in East Java. This temple complex is a legacy of 3 great ancient Hindu-Javanese kingdoms, was built in Blitar for over 200 years, which its construction began in 1194 the period of Kediri Kingdom, continued in 1208 the period of Singasari Kingdom, and finished in 1415 the period of Majapahit Kingdom. Known as Penataran Temple, which "penataran" means to teach, this temple complex become the place for anyone who wants to learn about the life in the ancient Hindu-Javanese kingdoms era. This temple complex is divided into 3 large parts which represent an integral philosophy and values inherent in every ancient Hindu-Javanese teachings and beliefs. Those 3 parts namely: -The front / lower part where there is the Bale Agung for a gathering place and the Pendopo Teras for a place to put offerings. -The middle part where there are two temples consists of one temple in form of a pointed monument with the statue of Ganesha (the god of wisdom) inside it as an embodiment of "lingga" / male and one temple in form of a hole monument surrounded by the ornament of dragon lifted by 9 kings (the number of gods which rule all the directions in the universe) as an embodiment of "yoni" / female. -The back / top part where there is the largest temple is called the Palah Temple which is carved by the relief of the Ramayana story, the Palah Inscription written in ancient Javanese script by Mpu Amogeswara or Mpu Taluluh, and a "petirtaan" or holy water spring. Penataran Temple complex was used to be a place both for worshipping the gods and consecrating the kings. Besides, Penataran Temple complex is still remain highly respected by the descendants of the kings and the peoples of the ancient Hindu-Javanese kingdoms in East Java because it is believed to be the place where Maha Patih Gajah Mada recited the Palapa Oath as a sign of the conquest and unification of Sumatra, Kalimantan, Java, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua in the name of Nusantara under the Majapahit Empire and was also once become the place where the ashes of Ken Arok the founder of the Singasari Kingdom and Raden Wijaya the founder of the Majapahit Kingdom were buried.
Aswin N — Google review
It is the biggest temple in East Java. It is used for Hindus devotees to pray. Actually there is no ticket for the visitors. You just need to pay cleaning service fee as you wish. No fixed fee. When I and my students went there, there was no guide available. The security guard just recommended us to read the information board and went around by ourselves. Yeah, it was okay but it would be more interesting if there was a guide that be able to tell you many hidden stories about this Hindu temple. If you want to have some meals or buy souvenirs here, don't worry. In the outside of the temple, you may find them easily. Let's visit Candi Penataran!

Because this was my first time eating in this place, I didn't know how to order it, so I just followed what the waitress recommended. And It's too sweet for me, maybe next time if I stop by at this place again, I will ask for less sweet soy sauce.
Wolfgang R — Google review
Very traditional beef stew and innards cook with woods. The taste unfortunately covered by the sweet soya sauce, sweet. It is serve in a small bowl, good portion to sample. Located on the corner of the red light. There is 2 stalls with similar food.

must-visit places to eat. The soto served is very local.it is salty and a little sweet from the soy sauce. there is no varied menu, only soto and drinks.but if you are not used to roadside dining places, with super few facilities. maybe this is not the place to eat for you. there is no parking space, you can only park on the side of the road, the place is quite narrow, maybe only 15 people.

Provide a traditional and friendly way to serve the customer. The one of the scrumptious soto in the Blitar town.
Single T — Google review
One of the best soto I've ever had. Always gives you nostalgic feeling everytime you eat here. The taste never changes for decades. Cooked slowly in earthen pot for hours (since morning) at moderate heat with firewood, giving the broth a particular mild earthen flavor that simply irresistible. Added with sweet beansprout, chopped cilantro and chives, sweet soy sauce, and additional chili paste to accentuate your ‘sumuk’ (sweaty) experience. It's no wonder this culinary treat is often called ‘soto sumuk’ (sweat-inducing soto). PS: best time to visit this place is after 12 noon to get soft, savory meat that has been slowly cooked for hours.

The space was large, quiet, leafy, and surrounded by cornfield. It provides many seating locations, airy indoor, semi-outdoor, outdoor. The foods were mostly good, the rawon soup was served nearly cold, and dawet was not the best. The staffs unfortunately not very helpful. Authentic pecel Blitar.Overall taste not salty, so it is good. I like the rawon (black beef soup), it has the special spice note that is unique. They sell nasi campur, nasi rawon and nasi pecel. Es beras kencur and kunyit asem. Good stop to try the local delicacy.

Blitar authentic pecel dishes. It's the sixth branch of famous Mbok Bari which serve nasi pecel. Strategic location near Indonesia founding father, Bung Karno cemetery. It's very crowded in the morning especially during breakfast time. Nasi campur also available with affordable price.

Coffee store
Kuning Kitchen and Cafe is a spacious, bright, and comfortable modern eatery with an industrial-chic vibe. It offers a variety of rice and noodle dishes, as well as a selection of coffee, pastries, and cakes. While it can get busy at times, the ambiance remains relatively peaceful. The restaurant area may feel a bit cramped for families due to the proximity of tables and limited baby seating. However, the food is generally considered tasty with adequate portions despite some opinions on pricing.
Great taste for the food, the portion for each menu comes in a portion that suitable for two persons. It very affordable by the portion and the taste. The restaurant placed at the front building and the cafe placed at the back near the parking lot. This place has a playground at the outdoor so it's very recommended for bringing our kids or families at this place. The interior is adjusted for each event so it can bring a new vibes for each time we visit this place.
Arfan S — Google review
I give a strong 4.76 stars. Foods were decent and I enjoyed them, but the butter chicken might need to tone down a bit with the excess butter oil. Anything else that I ate there was pretty good. Service was great, forgot to leave a tip but I could at least say that they did a good job. The waiting time for the food was acceptable, it was maghrib time so I left to do my prayer then came back and some of the food was already there, I'd say it took 12 to 16 minutes. The atmosphere was great, the place was clean and has a warm lighting so it wasn't too bright but not too dark either. All in all, I would high-key recommend the place. It is a suitable place if you want to spend an evening with your partner or families or even if you just want to go by yourself that's not a problem as I could see myself go there by myself just to spend my time alone. Thanks.

The place is good with pastries downstairs. Food on the main floor....same level as the main road. Ample parking space. Decorations fits the atmosphere. Only thing... as the picture tells a thousand words......ordered 3 dishes...2 came earlier and the last dish came 20 minutes later. If this place owner read this.........please rectify this problem. Or else you get bad reviews. I'll visit again in the near future

Kuning & Co. Located behind the Kuning Kitchen... Specialize for having coffee and cake. A new place. Has many space for hang out with your friend. Also they have small beautifull park. For the cake is delicious with worth price.
Didik H — Google review
The place is pretty good but not comfortable for eating with family because it is close to other tables. There are only 2 chairs for babies so you have to queue when there are lots of visitors. The food tastes quite good. Not very nice. Portions are also sufficient. The price is too expensive compared to its ordinary taste. There is a special playground for visitors but it is dirty because there are lots of birds. Service is quite good even though they seem tired even though they just opened. Lack of smile
HARMONI ( — Google review
Their food and drinks are superb and family friendly. I love the ambience. They have small beautiful garden outside the resto where you can take instagram-able pics or just sit around.
Rosy P — Google review
Cozy place to relax. There are two different places here, the front side is the restaurant with mostly Asian food while the back side is a Cafe with coffee, pastry and western food. Plenty of parking with children playground at the back. The Cafe menu variety is a lot, price is reasonable, food presentation is very good. Ordered burgers, both were undercooked. Pizza, croissants was good. Went to the front side restaurant, food quality was great, I still consider it at the best fine dining food in Blitar, but dining experience was awful. Food came out in installment, first came rice and "brokoli tiga jamur", 5 minutes later "kung pao Ayam", another 5 minutes for the "spicy chicken wing", then another 20 minutes for the steamed fish to come. We ordered 3 foods to take away, 2 of them was not registered, so we have to wait for another 10 minutes before we can go home.

Drawbacks: The airport is quite far from the city, and there is no public transportation other than taxi, bus and shuttle. Travel tip for foreigners: 1. From Juanda, if you want to go to Malang city you can reach directly by Cititrans or Daytrans shuttle, which are available nearly 24 hours a day, making it convenient for onward travel. 2. To reach Surabaya city center, I recommend using a Bluebird taxi, which is reliable and safe.

Had no trouble checking in, was slightly over my limit n was not penalized which was a comfort for financially tight travelers. Waiting area provided charging port unlike some airports where certain areas are designated w charging facilities. Dis airport had a foot reflexology, a little over priced naturally but if u hv a long wait wat better way thn to hv u feet massage n kill sum time. Overall nice airport with polite staff unlike sum I knw

Airports play a pivotal role in the modern transportation network, serving as gateways to the world and facilitating the movement of people and goods across vast distances. Their importance cannot be overstated, as they are the first and last points of contact for travelers and are critical for global connectivity. One of the key aspects of airports is their infrastructure, which includes runways, taxiways, terminals, and various support facilities. A well-designed and efficiently managed airport ensures safe and seamless travel experiences. Furthermore, the availability of customs and immigration services streamlines international travel, making customs clearance swift and convenient. Airports are not just transit hubs; they also contribute significantly to local and national economies. They generate jobs, attract businesses, and stimulate tourism. Many airports have evolved into bustling economic centers, fostering commercial activities and driving innovation. Environmental concerns are also a growing priority in airport operations. Sustainable practices, such as energy-efficient buildings and the use of alternative fuels, are being embraced to reduce the environmental footprint of airports. In conclusion, airports are the lifeblood of global travel and trade, offering much more than mere transit points. They are integral to economic growth, fostering international connectivity, and evolving to meet the demands of the 21st century while addressing environmental challenges. Their significance in today's world is undeniable.
