Good fun park for kids - small kids will enjoy it already. A good mix of attractions.
Really nice family park. Perfect for children i the age from 5-12. Some activities are also cool for the adults. This is an old and classic park, but the owners are really trying to keep it up to date. They are opening at 10 am, and you should be there a little bit before. Mostly you have to wait for half an hour to get in. Book tickets in advance on the internet. The grill cabins are nice for a good break in the middle of the day, but you have to book it together with your tickets. You have to bring your own coal and food. It is also possible to by normal take-away food in the park. Worth a visit.
The high ratings for this park are seemingly from nostalgics, since it this park is far from being a top attraction. For someone coming here with no prior memories or knowledge of the park, the only verdict one can make is that it is a very rundown and boring park. The best parts of the park are the playgrounds and the animal/dinosaur exhibitions which are quite good. Most rides are self-service, which is good, since the few that are not are run by very questionable staff. But all rides except the park train tour is extremely basic and stuff you would find at a fun fair rather than a theme park. As many other mention, the stores inside only take cash and offer poor products and slow service. The entrance fee is also high for what you get. Spend 1-2 extra hours in the car ether north into Denmark or southwards deeper into Germany to visit a real amusement park instead of this one.
Don't expect to find animals here, only deers, chickens ,ducks and some fish. Is a very big place , with a lot of things, but don't go with kids under 5, is not much to do for them beside so e sand box , carousel and tramboulins. The worst part is, if you go as a tourist, almost none of the staff speak english, something usual in Germany to be honest. My worst experience was and i was waiting in a very big line with my wife and a 2 years old boy, waiting out turn to order ssome food and surprise..tbey don't accept card payment ( even the sign was everywhere, i thought i can pay with NFC ) . So you need only cash, ( beside where you buy the tickets) I can't believe in 2024 in Germany, in many places, you need only cash, seems something strange. So 2 stars for this
Slightly outdated, but very well maintained park with a lot of variety in its attractions (rides, exhibits, animals, nature). Great for younger kids and families, plan a full day. Everything in the park except food and drinks is covered by the admission fee.
Great place for your family especially with younger children.
It's a great place for people of all ages. Lots of activities for families as well as people in all age groups. Most preferable for families with young children though. The carousels are children friendly and there's a wide array to choose from. Looking forward to going back there.... And....the entry fee caters for all carousels...pretty cool in my opinion.
Great place for kids aged 2-10. Nothing to pay but the entry fee and a small charge for a BBQ hut (recommend). No long queues despite being in school holidays. I can't imagine self operated rides in the UK but they work really well in Germany.
