Very soothing beach and view. Though the waves are very strong here, you can enjoy the view by sitting, watching the waves, and feeling the breeze on the white sand. One of the best beach of western coast which have white sand.
This is not the correct location in map Exact kashid beach is approximately 200-300 metres away from this location. From this location go straight you will see I ❤️ Kashid board and also you will find lot of cars parked. From there you have to reach beach
The sand on this is soft as silk. Although you'll find shells and corals if you move towards the shore. A lane of huts setup around the beach where you can relax, enjoy the sea view while you're on the net hammock swing, enjoy the fish or local cuisine which is prepared by local women's and served with love.
Lovely beach, filled with white sands glowing sky amidst dark blue Arabian Sea. From Nagaon it took about an hour to reach Kashid city. Beach has parking place. As you take a turn and enter Kashid, you get to view the beach surrounded by black stones. There are camel and horse rides organised in the beach, while motor rides and bullock horse rides are popular. Surrounded by lush greenery, mountains, mangroves this beach is popular for sunset. There are shops for shoppers and street food for foodies. A beach not to miss visiting from Alibaug.
Decent beach as compared to Revdanda or others around.. Good white sand and fairly neat. Some water sports also available here.
Prefer your own vehicle. Beach is clear and scenic. Food is available along with some nonveg and veg . Veg is limited, maghi anda poha . Coastel road is too good to drive. 30 rupees cost for a bucket of water after sea bath. Photogenic pics. Liquor is not available, carry your own. 11 to 3 pm time is too hot. After sunset should leave the beach(no public transport). Sunrise time is so good. Nature loving person will like it. Water sports like jets ski, banana ride, dragon ride also available.
The beach was very clean and well-maintained, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. If you’re planning to visit Alibaug, I personally recommend going to Kashid Beach — it’s much better than the other beaches nearby.
Very good to spend with friends and family. It seems like personal beach. But I like to request the local shops and tourist not to litter beaches. Use dustbin. It's pathetic if you all be so careless about each and every places.

Revdanda Beach is a peaceful and clean spot, perfect for a quiet getaway. When I visited, there were only around 10–15 people, so it felt almost like a private beach. The surroundings are serene, the sand is clean, and the waves are calm. A great place to relax, take a walk, or just enjoy the view without the usual beach crowd. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a calm and uncrowded beach experience.
This beach is not very busy, so it's a relaxing and peaceful place to be. It's quite big, with many ways to get to the water. There's a lot of sand at the start, so your feet will probably be sandy when you go. The Revdanda Fort is nearby, but it's now owned by someone and used for camping tents. If you like quiet places with few people, this beach is perfect for you. However, it's not easy to walk here after eating lunch at night because there are no lights.
Such Lovely Beach, I mean very less crowded and the water isn’t that bad too I had really great time there with lovely sunset. A lot of water activity there and filled with lovely beach campings too. Such cozy place to roam around at night cuz there’s a lot of people from beach camping also roam around at night so it’s Safer. Over all it was lovely and Fun to walk on beach tho very less food options there’s nothing like a beach shack available to eat anything better to crazy own food instead. Hope this helps ❤️
Revdanda Beach was a refreshing experience. The beach is clean, peaceful, and relatively untouched. It’s not crowded, with very few hawkers, which makes it perfect for those looking to relax away from the typical tourist buzz. The calm atmosphere and cleanliness truly stood out. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet beach day.
A quiet, less-crowded beach, though not very clean. The views are refreshing and calming, and an early morning visit lets you witness fishermen at work with fresh catches.
Ravedanda Beach, situated near Alibaug in Maharashtra, is a popular yet relatively tranquil stretch of coastline known for its unique, dark-colored sand, often appearing black or grey, distinguishing it from the typical golden beaches of the region. The area is steeped in history, primarily due to the imposing ruins of the Revdanda Fort and a historic Portuguese church situated right on the shore. This combination of scenic ocean views and historical architecture makes it a favorite spot for photographers and history enthusiasts. It’s an ideal getaway for visitors seeking peace and quiet away from more crowded tourist hubs.
Revdanda beach is one of the clean beaches and safe to go into the sea water. We enjoyed it a lot.
So from Karoli just yards away is Revdanda beach. A silent, picturesque, unpolluted beach devoted to jaw dropping nature. So from parking you walk straight into the beach. Don’t miss viewing colourful flowers, mountain ranges view, a ship or vessel standing right under sunset point and a glittering line of sun rays covering the lovely beach waters. There are no shops in the beach. Only rocks, crashing waves, and black sand makes your visit memorable. A must visit beach from Alibaug.
Korlai Fort

Strategically placed fortress on an island dating from the time of Portuguese occupation.

The main gate was closed from inside(two guards were sleeping inside the church) but some locals guided us and told us to enter the fort from backside, as there is no door there. It's an easy 10 15 min walk, and you can explore the whole fort in less than an hour. Everything is in ruins, but you get beautiful panoramic views of Arabian Sea. On the top there is a Church, a temple, and many cannons too. Worth visiting for the view.
Note : There are two ways to reach the fort. 1. Park your vehicle near Shiv Mandir and from there just 10-15 min small trekking towards the fort gate. 2. Chor-Darwaja : Park you vehicle near Lighthouse and just in front of lighthouse there are steps for fort. Only issue is few steps are broken and height of the steps also too high. I selected route 1 for entry and escape from route 2 Both the ways are simple and about 15-20 min only. CARRY WATER BOTTLE with you to keep yourself. This is must. Full of adventure. Nice to see every corner of this fort. You need at least 1-2 hrs to explore it. Lots of Tof (Guns) here.
Korlai Fort is honestly such a peaceful and underrated spot near Alibaug. The view from the top is just amazing – sea on one side, greenery on the other, and that calm breeze makes it feel really soothing. There’s a small entry fee, around ₹10–₹20. Not much walking needed – max 10 minutes and you're at the top. It's not really a trek, so anyone can go. I'd suggest going by two-wheeler though, because the road is quite narrow and tricky for big vehicles. The fort itself has old Portuguese-style walls and ruins, and though it's not huge, it has a charm of its own. Definitely a great place if you're into photography, nature, or just want to sit peacefully with a view. Highly recommend it if you're nearby – I’d go again just for that view!
You can explore the fort’s historic ruins while enjoying a stunning 360° view of the sea and Ravdanda Fort. It’s an easy 15‑minute climb to the top. The approach road is narrow, running alongside the beach. At the base, there’s a small lighthouse, a radar center, and a neatly maintained play area with benches for relaxation. Entry fee is ₹20.
Visited this spot today. From Kashid beach it took about 15 minutes to reach this beach. The Karoli fort has an historical reference. The beach faces the fort. There is a pathway which tajes you around the fort. One pathway you go up the hill other is just minutes around where you get to see old lighthouses. This beach is secluded for parking is there but no shops are around the beach. You could walk or drive for hours touching the sea waters. Another must beach to visit in Alibaug.
Karlai Fort (near Kashid): Karlai Fort is a small hill fort near Kashid beach. The climb is easy and offers a great sea view of the Arabian coast and surrounding villages. Not much of the fort remains, but the peaceful setting and coastal scenery make it a nice short visit
Beautiful fort in Korlai village. The road to fort is very narrow and one lane. Fort was closed when we visited due to heavy rain and therebwas no maintenance work done.
Visited Korlai Fort in August, but unfortunately it was closed during the monsoon season. The authorities don’t allow entry due to slippery paths and safety risks. Could only see it from outside along with the lighthouse. Best to plan a visit in winter or after the rains for proper exploration. There are no facilities, shops, or guides, so carry your own water and snacks. The place is isolated, which adds to its charm, but also means you should be careful if going alone.

Quiet beach. Pristine. Very safe shallow beach. One can see lot of marine life.
Very nice peaceful beach. Not very crowded. Entire beach has a coconut tree lining
- clean beach -less crowded beach -watersports not available - foods not available on beach -this beach good for pre wedding shoots/photo shoots -must visit -no rush -beach side stay available
🌊 Peaceful Escape at Nandgaon Beach Nandgaon Beach is a quiet and serene spot, perfect for spending quality time with family. There’s no crowd, no water sports, and no food stalls — just you, your loved ones, and the beauty of nature. We visited twice — the first time it was raining, and we simply sat at the viewpoint, enjoying the calm sea and gentle breeze. The second time, we went early in the morning around 7:30 AM and spent time in the clean, clear water until about 9 AM. The beach is very clean, with soft sand and peaceful surroundings. It’s an ideal place if you’re looking to unwind, relax, and disconnect from the usual tourist noise. Highly recommended for those who love tranquility and natural beauty over commercialized beach experiences. 🌴☀️
Beach near kashid, nagaon beach. Beach is big but very dirty. No one comes here. You cannot go into water but can come here to just sit and relax. Surrounded by great coconut trees.
Good place to hangout if you are planning for vacation around the place as this place is locally known. There is no crowd at all and you can have a sweet, pleasent moment with your loved ones and family. With no one to disturb you or no noises at all just the sound of water and ocean.
Such a lovely virgin beach, unexplored by many Went that at sunset n it was wonderful
Beaches always bring some amount of serenity. If it's far from the city, with a lot of greenery, well maintained and connected to the nearby places, it would of course catch your interest. Nandgaon beach is of that kind. A little bit of seating, photo points, kids play area, fish fries and a long flat beach checks most of the boxes.
