First visit to California ever, and I think I did it just right by starting it out at wine country! The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and makes you feel like you are in a secret garden from a storybook. Paige was our hostess, and our group has a great time with her. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and just really gave us the time to relax and enjoy our wine tasting without feeling rushed. I liked that it was a little bit more secluded, had a relaxed vibe and it wasn’t too fussy. A huge perk was that you were also able to bring your own picnic lunch. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.
We had a great time with Sara our server this Saturday, She was friendly, knowledgeable and we learned some new things. The wines are always delicious, especially the Rose! Thanks you for another fun experience
I took my boyfriend here for a Californian wine tasting experience and it was so perfect. The vineyards are beautiful and expansive and free to roam through but the service is also just as special. We were hosted by Darren who was extremely knowledgeable about the tasting notes of every wine and the individual process it takes to make each bottle. Darren offered us samples of lots of wines too and we even got a special wine cellar tour that we weren’t expecting. He then introduced us to the family owner of the Dry Creek Vineyard itself (like meeting royalty!). He really made our visit so memorable. If you’re planning a wine tour whilst in the area, this historic site is an essential first stop!
First time visit via scheduled tasting that will be the first of many visits. Josh provided the tasting of many varietals and allowed those in our group to let the wines speak for themselves. In a no-pressure environment, we learned some history about the vineyard and the various factors affecting each the wines they offer. The facility is modern and comfortable and has many gifts for sale. The grounds are perfect for a simple day out (you can bring in your own food, in addition to the standard fare available on site) where you can enjoy a bottle or tastings. If you're looking for a vineyard that's easy to enjoy, with a fine selection of wines, all set in a clean, simple, yet enjoyable environment, Dry Creek should be on the list....
We had a lovely tasting at Dry Creek. The gardens are beautiful and the staff were super friendly, they shared so many interesting stories about the property and wines. I definitely recommend stopping here, especially on weekdays... It was very quiet and peaceful.
We visited this winery many years ago and enjoyed it so much we stopped in again. We loved the outdoor tasting area, so beautiful. The wines are very good and are reasonably priced. They are dog friendly and nicely accommodated us and our pup. We will be back!!
Dry Creek Vineyard is absolutely beautiful. Paige gave an excellent presentation of the founders, history, vineyard, and wines. She is a wonderful asset to the winery as if she was family. Very knowledgeable about all the wines. Impeccable grounds and a lovely day. Couldn't have been better. I am so happy I made the trip. It was beyond expectations. The weather was a 10. No doubts about becoming a member and look forward to enjoying the best wine from my all time favorite winery. Thank you for one of my best memories ever!
Superb winery with lovely atmosphere, garden and patio. Also a cozy and good indoor seating with high ceiling. Fantastic Zins & Sauv blanc Verdict - most visit and great stop on bike ride/tour

Starting with Allen, everyone we met was really great. You can't beat the view. And the sophistication of this tasting is very appreciated. Most organized tasting we had all week. Highly recommend this. And it's even better with a driver so you don't have to remember how you got there!
A friend recommended Gary Farrell winery, and I’m so glad he did! From the moment my friend and I walked into the winery, we were made to feel that this was going to be a special experience. In fact, we visited three other wineries and this was our best tasting experience! We had a reservation for the tour & tasting and Ellen was our very personable host. She did a fantastic job of explaining the winery’s history, why Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes grow so well there, and their wine making process. It was clear that Ellen loves her job and was proud to be working at Gary Farrell! Also, the tasting set-up was beautifully done and the food pairings were perfect. Lastly, the property is gorgeous without being ostentatious. I live locally and will definitely be returning!
We did the tour and tasting. Tim was incredible; friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. He made the already incredible experience just that much more enjoyable. Thank you Tim!!
Beautiful winery. The views are amazing. The wine I pretty darn good. They specialize in The service was excellent by Laura.
Wine is high quality and the servers in the tasting area were very helpful and accomodating to our walk in request and desire to purchase some wine. The receptionist was the opposite-- unhelpful, unaccomodating, claimed there was no way to buy the wine there when we asked if they had a shop or somewhere to buy the wine (which proved to be untrue). Maybe she was having a bad day and I don't want to pan the whole experience because of one negative person but she needs to know her attitude is important for first impressions. If one in our party hasn't been so intent on getting wine, we were ready to leave without spending anything. Reception 0 stars, otherwise 4 to 5 stars. Worth the visit just to see the view.
So unfortunately we couldn’t go, they were booked. However, they were the NICEST people, gave us some great recommendations. We got a tiny pour of something very good while they made some reservations for us. They have a beautiful view and we’d love to try them next time we’re up that way. I just wanted to take a moment to express our group’s appreciation for their excellent care of not-quite-customers.
We came to Gary Farrell mainly because they had Tesla chargers on-site but also wanted to enjoy some wine. I’m so glad we visited because this was an unforgettable experience. The view, the wine tasting, food pairings, just all of it was perfect. If I lived nearby, I would definitely put this place in my rotation. And definitely can’t forget the most handsome, charming, and chonky black cat, Bennie. Will be back next time I’m in the area!
Ellen was the best!!! This winery is seriously the best service my group has ever received! Ellen took the time to explain each wine to us and made sure we understood what we were tasting. Such an unforgettable experience :)!

Cutie little park! This is perfect for a picnic, stroll, or deep breath. There are areas for kids to play and adults to hang out. They have public trash and recycling which seems to help keep the park in perfect condition.
We love the square. So much to to do. You don't have to run around to taste wine, there are several great tasting rooms around the square. The food options are endless.
Wow, such a cute town! I absolutely love it. Dog-friendly everywhere, with great energy and welcoming vibes. Enjoyed live music in the park on a Thursday afternoon in August, and the weather was just fabulous for walking around.
I Love Healdsburg PLAZA I LOVE THE MUSIC EVENTS AND ALL OTHER SEASONAL EVENTS THAT GOES DURING THE YEAR. Great place to Come with family enjoy a great day out side.
Comfortable, relaxing and quite beautiful plaza that acts as the center of town. Good mix of locals and visitor all enjoying the beautiful weather and an ongoing selection of events like a weekly Farmers Market, art festivals, music and the annual Christmas tree lighting celebration. A true gem!
So pretty ! This place is worth stopping and great photo ops!!
Well, let's say this town could be a model for other towns because you can browse and shop easily. It's a great mix of food, clothes, kitchen supplies, art, and clean portable restrooms. I know, restrooms is what ties it together. This area's walkability is great. If you can only enjoy it until you need a restroom, we leave. So, having clean and free restrooms kept us in the area twice as long and we came back a second day. We were there during a park event, that served alcohol, so we know the restrooms aren't always available, but we will plan all our shopping/walks to events now.
Nice place to roam around while enjoying the architecture and vibrant city. Would love to recommend while visiting napa valley. There’s an antique showroom filled with an incredible collection that might just take you on a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Ferrari-Carano Vineyards & Winery Tucked away in the heart of Sonoma County, Ferrari-Carano might be one of the most underrated wine tasting destinations we’ve ever visited. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were in awe. The grounds are stunning—meticulously designed and beautifully maintained, with views that rival any estate in Napa or Sonoma. Every corner felt like a perfect photo moment, but more importantly, it felt like a peaceful retreat. The staff was incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about their wines. We were welcomed with genuine hospitality and guided through our tasting with insight that made every pour more meaningful. It didn’t feel rushed or scripted—it felt like they truly loved what they do and where they do it. And the wines? Fantastic. Balanced, elegant, and memorable. From bold reds to crisp whites, everything we tried was impressive—and we’ve done our fair share of tastings across California. If you’re looking for a refined yet relaxed experience, make the time to visit Ferrari-Carano. It’s a hidden gem that deserves far more attention than it gets. We’ll definitely be returning—and bringing friends with us next time.
O my gosh I have to brag on our server/ wine tour guide Danny. My sisters, mom and I came in for a girls trip and decided to make the drive out to Sonoma for a wine tour. Amazing service and experience. Danny was attentive, very informative and super sweet. He has great customer service, great recommendations and just went above and beyond for our day. The wines, cheese board and chocolates were so delicious. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
This winery is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. The grounds are spectacular. Excellent wine and service. Came here in May 2025 for a visit and loved it so much we came again the following day.
Such a beautiful place. The wine is outstanding, and the grounds are lovely. I was most impressed with Kristine, the manager. Wow, she went out of her way to make our visit memorable. We will be back for sure!!
We came to Ferrari Carano for our Girls Trip! Danny our server/tour guide was absolutely phenomenal. He allowed us to enjoy ourselves and be a little chatty with him as we were so excited. He was so detailed in his explanation of the wines we were tasting. He made recommendations and really made the experience next level. Really enjoyed everything about our visit visit. Would come back for sure for the great wine, views and Danny’s great service !!!
I have visited Ferrari-Carano multiple times but today we had Victor serve us and had such a lovely experience. Good wine and lots of shared knowledge about the local wine. We asked about memberships and decided the value was beyond compare. A beautiful setting awaits guests at this winery with excellent customer service. Don’t miss out on the shady garden as well.
Visited Ferrari-Carano for the first time with friends - I've been wanting to make it out to Healdsburg for ages and this was the perfect excuse. We booked the Pranzo Della Casa and it was such a refreshing change from a typical tasting with little (or no) food. Each course was thoughtfully prepared and the wine pairings were excellent - I would definitely want to return for this experience alone! The property itself is gorgeous and well-maintained. We weren't able to explore the grounds fully due to a private event taking place that day, but even just the building and front gardens were picture-perfect. The staff were also very accommodating with a few last-minute, unplanned requests, which we really appreciated and will definitely remember when planning a return trip. Highly recommend if you're looking for something a step above the standard tasting - a beautiful setting, gracious staff, and a memorable food-and-wine experience.
This was a great way to end our trip, our favorite wines and best spot we visited. Maureen was excellent to us, knowledgeable, friendly, with a great attitude. She guided us through our wine tasting and finished it off with a tour of the property. The grounds were so beautiful, and all the staff were very nice. So many new things coming to this spot, and we are eager to see what’s in store!

Charming Boutique Winery! GRACIEANNA is a hidden gem near Forestville with a beautiful area to taste the wines right next to the vineyard. The Chardonnay was fantastic, and their reds were just as impressive. Fernando, a hospitality director, took extra time to walk us through some of the vineyard’s workings—super informative and appreciated. Entire team was very attentive. Beautiful setting, great wines, and warm hospitality. Highly recommend!
This was one of my favorite wineries I have ever been to! The amazing serene views that overlook their vineyard are spectacular and the wine tasting was so superb! I will say the best part of my tasting experience that set this location above the rest was the friendly and cozy atmosphere that they provide. When you come here, it feels like you are at home...sipping wine with family and friends in a backyard oasis. They even let us wander through the vineyard and try some grapes right off the vine. What an experience 👏 🙌 👌 This place is an absolute MUST visit! You will love it. ❤️
Gracianna Winery is pure Sonoma magic. Delicious wines, heartfelt hospitality, and the warmth of a truly family-run place. You don’t just taste the wine — you feel the love behind it. A must-visit!!
What a wonderful afternoon! Delores was so sweet and found us the perfect Pinot noir to enjoy on the outdoor patio. This family owned winery has wonderful stories to share.
I love Gracianna winery and tasting room!!! The staff are always so welcoming and take care of the visitors! Maybe I am biased because I'm a member... but the reasons stated above and the beautiful family story is what made me become a member!!! Please visit them and hear the story for yourself! You will love any one of the staff or family that greets you when you arrive!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Gorgeous winery with a cozy vibe. Brought a picnic and enjoyed all the wines. Ferdinand was attentive, informative, without being over bearing. Gracianna’s is truly a gem.
We visited on Saturday and had an amazing experience. We were able to meet and talk with the owners and learn about their history. The wine was fantastic but how they got started in wine making and their family story was even better. Got a tour of the house and some dusties that weren’t for sale along with them being signed. Cheers to the family and the gifts you are giving the wine lovers that visit.
WOW, if your looking for a uniquely different wine tasting, then this is your place. This winery is owned by an independent family and the son is the wine maker. The family's commitment to providing a superior customer experience is one that you will not forget. Their brand and story line is like I have never experienced before. Their gratitude, gratefulness, appreciation and passion is expressed in their "gifts" and "presents" that they have been bestowed. They pay homage to their Grandmother and heritage. Their skill, experience and winery are so very impressive. You will love the vine but you might enjoy the people, story and farm more. Just ask Trini. You will really enjoy this guy!!!!

What an outstanding experience! Our host, Tony, was delightful and well-informed. The wine was great, and the setting was exquisite. It was so relaxing and all you would hope for in such an experience! We readily joined the club and are looking forward to our first shipment. This should be high on your list of winery to visit while in Sonoma!
Very nice winery/tasting room just jorth and west of downtown Healdsburg. Mainly focused on Zins, though they do have other varietals. Excellent outdoor areas. Highly recommended.
Nice location, pleasant surroundings with nice outdoor area. One of the oldest wineries with strong focus In Zinfandel. All the staff are very friendly, our host Kathleen was very knowledgeable about the winery and the wines. We tried the classic tasting, will definitely the Italian tasting next time we visit. Joined as a member and you get to visit all their other affiliated wineries in Paso Robles, Napa, Oregon and Washington!
We like to support vineyards and wineries like Seghesio Family Vineyards that are committed to sustainable practices. The Zinfandel was rated highly in a recent issue of Wine Spectator, and we were fortunate to find a bottle at our local Total Wine store at a great price. This is a very good Zinfandel that is fruity, gentle, and smooth. Highly recommended!
I love Seghesio! My husband and I have been members for a few years and everything about Seghesio is wonderful. The property is beautiful, inside and out. They’re (good) dog friendly, and family friendly. Everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. And the wines are fantastic. While I enjoy all their Zins, I’m a big fan of their Barbera and Vermentino. I highly recommend Seghesio as destination spot. And as a member I can drop in and just have a glass of wine. Shout out to Jenna who recently took great care of my dog and me.
Beautiful setting. Fantastic wines. Tasting was $30 per person and for an extra $5 you could add a library wine to raster against its current version. We spent 90 minutes and enjoyed every second of it. I shall return. Highly reccomended..
Enjoyed their Twilight Tasting from 5-7pm on Friday night. Beautiful outdoor spot. Really warm and welcoming hosts. I think their Zinfandel is my new favorite wine!
I grew up knowing Eddie and Fay. My mom and Fay were sorority sisters from Berkeley. I have great memories from 60 years ago of the old House and running amok around the vineyards. Last saw Eddie in 2019. What a great guy!

From ambiance, to wine tasting, to customer service this place is an easy 5/5. The wine’s themselves are unique as are their pairings of cheese, condiments, & salts. We ended up buying their caramelized onion mustard, pink salt & truffle Parmesan salt. Will definitely be back, cheers!
Great experience. Wines are decent. I got my tickets from Groupon; so cheap. Don't forget to tip the server.
A fantastic experience. Great wine with a perfect wine pairing. Absolutely a deal with Groupon! Maurizio and Imelda from Houston Texas
This is a very overdue review for many wine tastings and a beautiful pre-wedding event. Williamson wine pickup parties are the best - Russell, Eli, Tony, Gabe, and Jenny run them really smoothly with great hospitality. The food pairings are delicious, and the refills are generous. We also had a beautiful pre-wedding event here in 2025. Dawn worked hard to make it happen even though we reached out with not much notice. The Williamson team had set up the space very thoughtfully, and our guests had a great time. Thanks again for everything!
We got invitation for wine pairings from bookings.com and decided to accept it . For only $85 for two we got wonderful lunch with 5-wines testing. We loved all the wines besides the last one. Each wine was paired with a very nice snack. We decided to buy one bottle of wine that we both liked. Our server, Tom, was just perfect: much of attention, very knowledgeable and nice to communicate. It was Monday and the place was very quiet. We’d highly recommend this place and share with our friends
Walked in without a reservation and were seated immediately. Tony was our wine guide. He was super friendly and made the wine tasting approachable. Loved his explanations of how the wines paired with the cheeses they served alongside.
We had such a fun and delicious tasting at Williamson Wines in Healdsburg! The wine and food pairings were spot on and made the experience really special. Everything was so good we couldn’t resist joining the wine club on the spot!
Wonderful wine and cheese pairings as well as happy hour! It was our favorite part of our trip to Sonoma! Service, wine, and cheeses were all spectacular. We will definitely return it we're back in the area!

What a beautiful property!! We did the Terrace Tasting and we're not disappointed. The tour is informative and interesting, and the property is a showstopper. They specialize in Cabernet and Chardonnay, both were fantastic, especially the newer Chardonnay from their concrete "eggs." That was new for us but we loved the added minerality, super interesting and very drinkable. The food pairings were also delicious, our favorite was the oven baked bread and pumpkin seed cheese dish, wowza! Great experience.
Jordan is one of our favorite wineries, and during this visit to Napa we wanted our friends to experience more than just a tasting; we wanted them to see everything that makes a winery special. Fabulous doesn’t even begin to describe this tour. It begins with a charming continental breakfast in the Bacchus Courtyard, featuring fruit from their own farm. Our fabulous host gave us a bit of history about Jordan and its iconic chateau. From there, you’re whisked away in a Mercedes Sprinter through the rolling hills, vineyards, and views that stretch endlessly. The journey is filled with memorable stops: a peaceful pond where we enjoyed Chardonnay tastings, a garden where we picked fresh fruits and veggies and fed the goats, and pastures where we saw longhorn cattle and chickens. We paused at a beautiful vineyard to learn about the grapes and vines before finishing at the estate's Vista Point where we enjoyed Cabernet (including library vintages!), chef-prepared light wine-pairing lunch at Vista Point, and some of their house made olive oil. It’s part tour, part picnic, part luxury experience...and 100% the best way to enjoy Jordan’s hospitality and Sonoma’s beauty. Truly unforgettable. As if the day couldn’t get better, we ran into John Jordan as we were leaving. He stopped to chat and make sure we had a great time; genuinely friendly and welcoming, the perfect ending to a perfect day.
If you ever find yourself in the Healdsburg area, Jordan Vineyard & Winery is a must-visit for wine tasting—it’s just as lovely in person as it looks on camera. Personally, I love the views, the gardens, the architecture, the design, the energy of the land, and even the lovable donkeys. A beautiful unique estate with much to enjoy. 💕
We stopped by Jordan Winery today because we wanted to purchase their champagne and amazing wine. Mr. Jordan supports non profits and groups who help those pursuing educational advancement. We just wanted to stop and thank him for what he does. He supported a group we know in Indiana. The staff was so kind to us, and John was there to say hello when we left. Not only is their wine fantastic, but they use proceeds to help others. It was a great visit. We look forward to returning soon. We have been to many wineries in the area and his is by far is the most stunning property.
Our Friday afternoon visit to Jordan was great. From the drive in, to the landscaping and buildings, to the scenic views, interior decor and of course the olive oil and wine itself. Really enjoyed our experience visiting Jordan while in town. We enjoyed our company so much we didn’t even take any photos of the tasting itself! Stop by this classy, family owned and operated establishment.
Our family visited this winery for the Chef's Terrace Tasting on Saturday 8/9/25. The chateau is one of the most beautiful in Sonoma wine region. Our tour guide, Jaden, offered us a glass of champagne at the beginning of the tour before we learned about the facilities. The wine tasting and the food sampler are excellent, especially the bread. The 2021 Chardonnay and the 2018 Cab Sauv are amazing. Chef Jesse is kind enough to introduce each dish. It's a remarkable winery to visit.
Must try wine pairing experience in Sonoma County! My partner and I have tried tons of wineries throughout Northern California. Of all the wine pairings we’ve done Jordan offers a great experience for the price! The estate is stunning and expansive - styled after a French chateau. On our tour we got to see the interior of the estate as well as a short canvas of some exterior property features like the small farm that’s onsite. As for the tour itself, our party was greeted and given an overview of the event as well as info about the property and owners. Our host did an amazing job setting the stage and making you feel connected to the Jordan family. Outside, we were given a Chardonnay to enjoy while exploring some of the exterior parts of the property. Once inside we toured the wine making facilities and some beautiful rooms in the chateau where events are hosted onsite. As we made our way through the inside of the property we learned Jordan makes two Chardonnays and two Cabernets. We enjoyed the wines with a beautifully crafted and carefully thought out food pairing. If you notify the staff ahead of time they’ll accommodate dietary needs. I was able to have a vegan menu that was AMAZING. It’s also worth noting Jordan makes their own olive oil and features this as part of their tasting. You can buy the olive oil onsite which is a real treat. As for the wines, I was not the biggest fan of the whites, but then again I’m not a Chardonnay person. The reds were some of the best cabs I’ve had in Sonoma County. I’d describe them as silky, velvety, and full bodied. Perfect to enjoy with food and good company. If you’re wanting a true experience for a wine pairing, I’d highly recommend giving Jordan a try! Also, one member of our party was celebrating a birthday and the host went out of his way to have the kitchen make him special truffles to be sent home with! I mean, come on!
Wonderful time shooting virtual tours at Jordan Vineyard & Winery in Healdsburg — this place is absolutely stunning! The vineyard views, the people who work there, the architecture, the energy of the land… just breathtaking. ✨

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. We didn’t do the cave tour, wish we had; doing the tasting in the cave definitely make us want to explore. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. They are known for their Zinfandel and they were incredible! Deep, dark, chewy wines.
Beautiful property, fantastic zinfandels, and friendly staff that went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible experience! We booked the 11am tour for 3 of us in January to celebrate my birthday. We arrived before they opened and were eating an early lunch on their picnic tables when a staff member came out to greet us. We were given a carafe of water, shown where the restrooms were, and told to take our time and come in when we were ready to start the tour as we'd be the only ones on it. FYI the outdoor seating is kid and dog friendly. They started us off with a sparkling wine to celebrate my birthday before the tour began. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the property and the wine making process, and we got to see some of the vineyard, crush pad, and wine cave. The tasting consisted of 6 wines: a Chardonnay, rose, Pinot noir, 2 zinfandels, and a dessert wine. We finished our tasting in a private room in the wine cave. Since we liked their zinfandels so much, they also poured an additional zin, the 2021 Maple Vineyards. The dessert wine was also a fun experience as they brought out a fancy peanut butter cup with salt on top to try with the dessert wine, which created a peanut butter and jelly mix when combined. We unfortunately couldn't stick around to enjoy their property more as we had another winery to visit, but will definitely be back!
We’ve been coming to Bella Winery and Caves for years, and it truly holds a special place in our hearts. Our daughter Ruby has been joining us since she was a 11 months old — she’s grown up with memories of hoola hooping on the lawn and ending the visit with a delicious peanut butter cup. Every visit feels like we’re returning to family. The staff is always welcoming and genuine, the wines are consistently exceptional, and the atmosphere is pure Sonoma charm — relaxed, beautiful, and full of joy. Whether it’s a sunny afternoon on the lawn or a cool cave tasting, Bella never fails to make the day memorable. Thank you, Bella, for being part of our family’s story and for creating such a warm, inviting space where amazing memories (and wines!) are made. We can’t wait till our next visit.
Bella Vineyards was me and my family’s favorite winery that we visited while in Sonoma (we went to 5 others)! The tasting experience with Mike was so much fun, the cave was beautiful and unique, and we really enjoyed their wines (they specialize in Zinfandel and Chardonnay). Would highly recommend!
Always great to take our family to this beautiful vineyard for a tasting! Absolutely fantastic small winery producing some excellent Dry Creek varietals
Amazing views, great wine and awesome people. Had a wonderful time tasting wine in the cave and visiting the vineyards. Totally recommend the experience.
One of our favorite vineyards in Healdsburg. A very relaxing vineyard with great wines and friendly staff. The tastings are held out on the main lawn picnic table and inside the wine caves. We had our tasting inside the wine cave followed by a glass of wine outside to listen to the live music and enjoy the spectacular views. The wood fire pizzas looked awesome. We will have to get one next time we come. Highly recommend this vineyard. Thank you for the awesome time.
I had a flew friends fly out for my birthday. I had gotten some recommendations to hit Bella and it did NOT disappoint. We booked the private tour. I’m so glad we did. The first thing we were told was to not feel rushed. We were taken through the property with such care and passion. The wine was amazing. I included a ton of pictures. The property is gorgeous. My group couldn’t say enough great things. Can’t wait to come back. You won’t regret booking. Thanks for making my birthday trip so memorable.

Amazing bubbly tasting, would def visit again to enjoy the nice tasting experience. The cheese plate is also worth getting. Wish they had a better model to waive tasting fees but all in all a must go if you like bubbles.
J Winery has been one of my favorite places in Sonoma for years, and I’ve proudly been a member for at least the last three. The wines are consistently excellent, but it’s the full experience that makes this place stand out. The Bubble Room is truly exceptional—Chef Forest creates beautifully paired bites that turn a tasting into a full culinary journey. It’s a must if you’re visiting. The Legacy Lounge also deserves a mention—the cheese pairings there are thoughtful and delicious, and I’ve spent more than one solo afternoon enjoying them with a view. The setting is gorgeous, the wine is top-notch, and the staff goes above and beyond. Casey, in particular, has made our last two visits especially memorable with warmth and impeccable service. If you’re in Sonoma, J Winery should be on your list. And if you can, treat yourself to the Bubble Room experience. It’s unforgettable.
I always have an amazing experience at J Winery. The customer service is by far the best. They are aware, observant and courteous. The bubbles always taste great. The chef and guest chefs have a wide range of flavors that never disappoint. They are flexible with allergies. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. I recommend this place to all my family and friends.
Absolutely love this place. Never really been a wine club member but this place makes it so worth it. Tastings at the Bar, cheese and wine pairings, and the outstanding bubble room with wine and food pairings. Not only do they have great wine, but their sparking wine is outstanding. Who doesn’t love a little bubbly!! An absolute gem!
This was place was absolutely amazing. They were accommodating, professional and extremely friendly. Izzy was an exceptional host, knowledgeable about the wines and made our experience an unforgettable one. We appreciate the time he spent with us telling us about every wine and how to make the best of the tasting and paring experience. The cheeses were DELICIOUS- highly recommend. We will definitely come back.
“Shifting the Lens” An amazing dining experience in the Bubble Room with meals prepared by guests chefs and perfectly paired with J’s wines. Starting outside in their beautiful patio for bubbles and appetizers you then work your way in to the main dining room. As always the chef’s come out and explain the cooking experience and philosophy.
We had the lunchtime tasting menu at the Bubble Room. It was staggeringly good. A series of small dishes, each perfectly balanced and paired with a J wine. The Bubble Room is an elegant modernist room with great views across the vineyards. the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. it's not cheap, but the food and wines are exquisite. Highly recommended.
Delightful bubbly experience at J ! It’s a semi formal winery, beautiful setting with both inside and outside seating. If you can definitely get an outdoor table booked. We were not able to get that and sat indoors. The wine tasting is super generous and a great value. We only got one cheese plate which was enough since we had dinner plans right after this. Great thoughtful pairing with the cheeses, exceeded my expectations. We did two separate flights so we could experience more variety. It was great. Our wine expert was an expert! we had 101 questions and he was not bored answering them. Made our experience that much better. They are not push but like most wineries will bring a price sheet and membership booklet in case you want to make a purchase. Cost wise this is a mid-level tasting but under $100 per person. If you get a membership they usually comp the tasting. In any case it’s a beautiful experience tasting variety of wines but especially their sparkling wines are the main event!!

First time going wine tasting and I had the best experience at the Alexander Valley Vineyards. Our host Shjon was amazing, he gave an incredible tour of the wine cave and made the evening super special with the wine tasting; he definitely made us feel like we were home. We 100% recommend this place and will be returning. ✨
Very affordable wine bottles and wine tasting yet high quality family owned establishment. Had a free wine cave tour with Mark G and it was a blast! Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Napa Valley for the first time!
The cave tour was awesome, the place was lovely, and Shjon (our tour guide) might be the friendliest person we’ve ever met! Highly recommend!
What an awesome winery visit ! Delicious wines ! Top notch tasting room employees and the cave tours were unbelievable ! Do not miss this winery ! Family owned ! You can tell the difference in detail !
Great wines and really cool cave tour. Nothing like the Cyrus... Nice guys in the tasting room, really made us feel good.
This family owned winery is celebrating their 50th anniversary! Our host, Pedro, was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the winery and winemaking. There wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer and backed it all up with the “why.” Our wine tasting was second to none! Then Mark G took us on a cave tour. Again, the information and knowledge shared was amazing. We enjoyed our entire experience as well as the delicious wine. We felt warmly welcomed and could have visited with them like family for hours. Thank you for the top notch experience and excellent wine! Congratulations on 50 years!
We spent the afternoon with Mike at the vineyard, and when I tell you- this was the BEST experience we’ve had at a vineyard in the entire valley. You absolutely, 100% MUST visit this vineyard. You will not be disappointed. The wine is amazing, and the environment created by Mike and Sadie is amazing. Make a stop and enjoy your time!! You will NOT regret it!!
We wrapped up our day with Pedro at Alexander Valley Vineyards, and what a perfect finish! Even though we were the last tour of the day, he went above and beyond and added a visit to the Wine Cave—such a cool experience. Pedro was knowledgeable, fun, and made the tasting feel personal. Great wines, great vibes, and a memorable end to our wine adventure!

This place is a home run for parents of littles who still wanting the wine tasting experience (or anyone, really). The grounds are beautiful, wine is delicious, snacks were perfect and hospitality was top notch; very family friendly. Lucas was a wonderful host, played with our son, helped him feed the goats and was just a pleasure to chat with. I almost want to gate keep this place, but they deserve the praise. We’ll definitely be back!
Beautiful grounds and the experience was different since it was next to the river. There's a small farm. Our server was very knowledgeable and he provided great service. The woodoven pizza was very good and it's pretty big so good for sharing. The wines were nice.
Aesthete Winery and Farm is located in the heart of Dry Creek Valley. We heard about this winery from a friend who kept raving about how amazing it was and how we had to visit! We are glad we visited because we both absolutely loved this winery for so many reasons! I love that this winery is family-owned! We did a wine tasting and absolutely loved all of the wines we sampled! The wines were all outstanding! The staff is extremely knowlegeable and welcoming and we really enjoyed our time here. We loved the wine so much that we bought several bottles of wine to enjoy in the future! I also love that you have options here and if you would rather not do a wine tasting, you have the option of purchasing bottles of wine to enjoy by the creek if you are looking for more of a relaxed time with family/friends. This winery has goats, sheep, chickens and feed dispensers as well as a garden area! Aesthete Winery and Farm is family friendly as well for those looking for family friendly wineries in the Healdsburg area. While we were there, we saw people enjoying a picnic and they allow outside food. It's an amazing winery to sip incredible wine and enjoy a picnic lunch. We definitely look forward to coming back here soon!
WOW ! Creek Side Wine !!?? What a Beautiful place for all the occasions ! Fantastic staff !!! Excellent wine 🍷 A beautiful place to visit and have a picnic by the Creek ! Yes ! Picnic by the creak ! Bring your salad or sandwiches and have Breath taking time. Great place for a date. Host a big party ! Perfect for all ages ! Bring the kids to see the goats, sheep, chickens and feed dispensers ! Fruit trees and gardens. At least 10 tables and lounge chair’s areas at the Creek side. It’s a must ! Thank y’all for a Wonderful experience. 🙏🤙🍾
Had a wonderful tasting experience with Jim - he explained the science behind our tasting in an extremely engaging and relaxing way. We really enjoyed sitting by the river and being able to bring your own picnic is fabulous. Great wine, ambiance and we will be back!
Such an amazing experience to do creekside tasting at this new tasting room. Their wines were so good. The view of the water and watching the kids feed the goats was so special. It really felt like being on vacation. Both couples left with 6 bottles each and we all became wine club members. I can’t wait to be back.
My daughter and her husband asked me to join them at this amazing location as I was late getting to their house. As I pulled in I was stunned by the beauty all around and the immaculate grounds. I entered the winery and was greeted simultaneously by the host and my daughter. The interior was just as pretty as the exterior and everything was meticulously in place. Outside there was also a seating area along with animals that you can feed, what a cool surreal experience. I did sample two wines, the Rose’ which was light and fruity making me harken for the heat of summer. The second was the 2020 Dragonfly made from a mixture of Northern California 🍇 grapes and it left me speechless. I highly recommend a stop here to sample their offerings, you won’t be sorry.
Our first time visiting Truett Hurst was five years ago and coming again was equally great. Great place to have a picnic and relax. Their setting is beautiful and they have farm animals to love on. Zinfandel rose is great for hot days. Our first trip we used the Adirondack chairs by the creek but those are exclusively for wine club members now.

After joining a few other wine clubs prior to Stephen & Walker, I was stunned to find this winery and wish I had much sooner. On my first visit I met with Branden who was very knowledgeable on the wines and made sure to answer any questions I had. I especially enjoy bringing friends and family to try their wines, play games and relax. Their family and dog friendly environment are refreshing. Thank you for making this the place to be!
I absolutely love every time I come into this winery! I have been joining S&W for years and love how well they have developed at the winery site. Whether I am out with friends or with my family this is the place to be! Lots of indoor and outdoor games and extra goodies for the kiddos and pup. Thank you for making this a truly memorable experience!
It was our first time visiting S&W... and WOW each wine blew our other experiences out of the water. Smooth finishes, complex tastes, and the service was phenomenal. Our dog was welcomed with a bowl of water and all the pets! We instantly felt like family, joined the membership and walked away with a case of amazing wine. Thanks for having Us, we can’t wait to see you next time.
Love wine delivery day!! Visiting the Tasting room was one of our highlights during our stay in Healdsburg. We had just arrived and decided to walk the street to see what called us in. This was our first stop and the only place we went to twice. Debra was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Every wine we tasted was delicious, so much so, we signed up for the wine club so we can enjoy back at home. On our 2nd visit, we had an exciting surprise when the winemaker, Nancy Walker, was there and we got to meet her.
My husband and I are wine club members at Stephen and Walker and have always had a great experience when visiting the tasting room. When we arrived yesterday (6/25), the bar was empty except for 3 people sitting at the far end (see picture). We started to sit at the other end of the empty bar and the woman working behind the bar ran over to us and said that we could not sit at the bar and to sit anywhere else. We were taken aback by her bizarre behavior but knew why she banned us from the bar. We sat at a table and were helped by a young lady who was very pleasant and helpful. About 30 minutes in, a woman walked in and sat at the bar. The woman behind the bar (learned her name was Debra Chambers), greeted her and asked if she was there for a tasting. The women said she was picking up her wine shipment. Debra asked if she wanted a splash of anything and proceeded to pour wines for her while my husband and I looked on in astonishment. We were there over an hour and that woman was the only person who sat at the bar. We were bothered by the experience and tried not to let it damper our tasting. While the young lady was gathering our wine shipment, Debra called over to us saying, I didn’t know you were wine club members, you are sitting so far away……???? I responded that she never asked if we were members or even greeted us, instead, you banned us from the bar. No response received. Debra Chambers seems to have a desired group of people she prefers to serve. Clearly, we were not part of that group.
My husband and I did a walk in tasting. We are from out of state so we are not part of the wine club. The service was quick and friendly. They were having a sale on select bottles if you purchased four bottles. The tasting included bottles that were part of the sale so you knew what you were getting. Not only that they wave the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle! We will definitely go back if we are in the area again.
Excellent, smaller winery and tasting room. The service and tasting experience was superb, with a cheese pairing for most of the wine tastings. Very fun and tasty wines to sample. 🍷👍
Since 2015, when I first tried it, this has been my favorite wine of all the wine (and I've tried quite a few). If you're ever in Healdsburg and want an amazing experience that makes you compare all wine experiences with the very best, please visit Stephen and Walker. Tell Debra Chambers I said Hi. She is the most wonderful. ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful tasting room and great selection of wines. They have a good variety for Cab and Pinot drinkers. Nice pace of the tasting and great host. Would recommend.
It's one of the BEST wineries on Sonoma! A must visit wine destination with spectacular wines 🍷
The place is very posh, the service is great, but… the wine was not attune to my palate. Wine is like that. You have to like it. But yes, a nice experience. Tastings are $40 for their 5 chosen wines in the nice atmosphere. Have fun!
Workers there are LAZY! How am I supposed to know what I want without tasting. I asked for a tasting of a wine I was interested in with 15 min left to closing time but I was denied. I guess that is not enough time to sell a customer. Stick to the Kroger brand. This is another corporate winery scam that is not personal! Edit: offered to pay for the tasting at 4:40pm and was denied. Edit: Classic corporate chat gpt response that was quickly deleted by Rodney strong see @Nina Houston’s review for the similar situation. Take your money to a vineyard that actually values buisness!
I went here today with a couple of friends for a tasting. It was really fun and the Pinot noirs were so good. Nice earthy and fruity tones. The grounds are super pretty. I love the walk up to the tasting room and walking down from the back the stairs are a bit slanted which was cool. They were having a spring market event with cool vendors like jewelry, candles things like that. There was this cool taco truck that also sold sandwiches. I tried the pulled pork melt with two types of cheeses on sourdough. It was absolutely amazing. Want to come back for sure.
Commodities Relocation Specialist here. I was here, two weeks ago, for a pickup. Every person I interacted with was professional and courteous. I was loaded, well under an hour, with BOL in hand. After being loaded, I pulled off to the side of the vineyard, just past the loading dock, and had my lunch in a quite stress-free area; those who drive, know how rare this can happen. Thank you, for allowing me that quite time, at your facility, after being loaded.
Beautiful decor, friendly and knowledgable staff. Attended the Wine Barrel Tasting Tour and they handled the volume of visitors nicely. We were interested in all the bottled wines that we tasted.
Ron was our delightful sommelier. He was charming knowledgeable and witty. His attentiveness and amazing personality stole our hearts and our taste buds. He even converted our "Red wine loving friend" to a "I'll give it a try " kind of person. That within itself is a great feat. Thank you Ron!! You gave us a VIP experience and we can't wait to return just to see again!

For me, it’s a MUST stop when in Healdsburg. Top notch hospitality and wines. I’ve been a member for years for a reason. Their pick up parties include the most thoughtful food pairings! Highly recommend.
Great atmosphere! As someone who has never been to a winery or vineyard, I thought I would feel intimidated or overwhelmed but that was not the case at all with sapphire hill! The owners were gracious with their time explaining things to me. The server, Mary, was just a delight. Also really LGBT friendly; my partner and I felt right at home. Really great time and I cannot wait to return!
Five star experience for sure! Lisa was very friendly and entertaining during the food and wine pairing. She did an excellent job at selecting food and wine that complemented each other perfectly through every course.
Sapphire Hill has a great staff, lovely wines and a great setting. One of our favorites in Sonoma County. The owners provide an upbeat fun experience and the chocolate brownie is to die for!.
Wonderful boutique winery. We found them on Groupon and ended up becoming members. They have multiple member events during the year offering delicious food with the wines. Always a great afternoon where we bring two friends and we really enjoy the conversation and wine pairings. We are still members 8+ years later and love going there for the pickup events or an occasional other time. The food pairings are delicious and the great staff and (now also the new) owners are always fun to talk with.
Anytime we're in Healdsburg we have to stop in! Its the best! Seriously great wine, wonderful staff, and their wine club is one of our favorites to be in!
I’ve been a member for about 6 years. Best winery with great people and yummy wine. A must visit for NorCal wine.

Beautiful place nice views.lake full of water
Been going to this lake sense I could walk it’s truly beautiful and peaceful clean everywhere it’s my favorite place in the world to go with my family and friends or by myself. Fishing is good but not going to get and record breaking size but will definitely have numbers of 1-3 lb large and small mouth bass catfish bluegill sunfish . If water sports is your thing this is your playground!
Working a project out at Lake Sonoma. Gorgeous and peaceful. Nesting bald eagles! And boat-in campgrounds, too!
Beautiful retreat. I used to go here to get off the grid foe a while. I moved back east recently, but I definitely miss this place.
Great area for hicking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, air guns, and archery range and so much more...and now we have a happy mere almost to capacity!
Looks amazing when it's at capacity. Just make sure you check for ticks.
We had a lovely time at Lake Sonoma. 8 of us rented a boat for the day and cruised around. The water is quite low, but wow, so beautiful, clean and refreshing. Parking seemed a bit tricky. Best to drop all your gear at the bottom of the hill and send just one person to go park the car on the hill. Highly recommend partaking in some boating and water FUN here. The view are spectacular.
Beautiful location for he Ironman Santa Rosa, video of a an amazing Hawks best upon going over the bridge
