Slide 1 of 8
On this coming 4th of July, I reflect on how much has been lost and gained in the United States, and so I sit and reflect at the places that mean so much to me. Coming from a military family, I hope the lessons learned make us pause and think. So here we stand, my wife and I in the middle of the golden gate national cemetery. Here we visit, and we ponder the course of this nation. We visit what I call the "brass ridge". Here there are so many generals and admirals buried here, but not forgotten. As we walk through the greens and we stop at the tombstones of prominent and historical figures, I hear in the wind honor me, but remember the soldiers, sailors, Marines, Air force veterans that surround me and served this nation also. These were our men under our command. Like Gettysburg, Manassas, Shiloh, the Alamo, Arlington and the national cemetery of the Pacific that I have visited. I remember with awe and wonder. Another solemn place to visit. Moving to the soul and conscience.
Gorgeous, stunning, and humbling. If you have never visited a national cemetery And you are in the South San Francisco area, you should pay your respects and stop here. It's very calming and peaceful as you walk around the different graves and realize the many lives that were lost and warfare and those who were lucky enough to live many years past their service. My family enjoys coming here and just walking and enjoying the peaceful scenery. My grandparents are buried here. It's a lovely place where many lives are memorialized.
Admiral Chester Nimitz is located in Section C-1 Site 1, which is just East of the flagpole.
Breathe taking memorial of our fellow Veterans. It's speechless to see some times to see over 147,000 memorial memories. Just a beautiful place too visit. Highly recommend it to everyone. I've lived in the bay area most of my life and drove by for years. I never stopped but it always caught my eyes passing by on 280 since i was a child. Until now. Worth the stop and going back soon. See images taken.
This 161 acre cemetery with 113,000 gravestones (and 143,500 interments) is a rather unique and moving sight. Open daily from 8am to 5pm. Most famous grave is that of FADM Chester Nimitz.
My Uncle and cousin are buried here together, and it's a very impactful experience going here.
My father and twin brother are buried here. My father's military burial was beautifully orchestrated and meaningful. It is one of the proudest moments of my life to see the American flag lowered to half staff as my father's motorcade passed by.
Texan Admiral Chester Nimitz is buried here. Imagine his horror if he saw what has become of California.

Shopping
Eclectic mall with a range of shopping options, plus a kids' play area, food court & movie theaters.

Very nice mall. Ate at the Cold Stone Creamery and Panda Express in the food court. It was easy to park for free in the garage and gas stations and the SFO airport are really close by here. Definitely grab a bite to eat here before going to the airport to save a few bucks!
The Shops at Tanforan is a sad mall filled with vacancies and shops that are not open. We came to hopefully do some shopping but outside of Target there are very few places to shop here. Its a very large property and one of the shop owners said they may be closing this mall down. The food court was open for a quick bite to eat but many of the locations have also closed.
As other comments have already pointed out, sadly, this is a mall that's almost deserted and where there isn't much to do. Half of the spaces for establishments are not being used, there is very little movement of people and almost nothing to do. Even Target was closed, and JCPenney had huge signs displaying everything at 40-60% off, giving the impression that they were getting rid of everything because they were closing permanently soon too. It was one of those places we came to thinking it was a must-see attraction inside the city of San Francisco, but I think there's a good chance the space will soon be repurposed for something else. We'll see.
Sad to say but the mall is dead. I did a count and it comes out to 75% of the stores are closed down. It's 2025 and nothing has returned. The only things left is a half open food court, target, Hyundai, and the movie theater. Don't waste your time coming here until someone invests money to restart this place. For reference all photos were taken on a Sunday at noon.
The shops of Tanforan was a good mall just adjacent to BART San Bruno station. But these days, there are many vacant stores and I am very disappointed in the change. Target store and food court are still there as before. But due to the vacant stores the place seems a bit desolate. Again, I feel pity about the change. (Notice that the premises are maintained very clean.)
There are many empty shops in the mall comparing few years ago. The mall is still considered clean, but traffic is much less than before. It might be closed in future if owner not going to do anything about it. Parking are pretty easy.
It’s a good shop center I just discovered today. We went there for the indoor playgrounds. They have Target, Penny something, Barnes & Noble, and a food court. There’s a few eateries and drink store. However, there are a lot of shops closed permanently. Hope new businesses will take over soon.
👎 Should have read the reviews, had to pass time before flying, decided to check out the mall only to find most of the shops have shut down. Sad state, plus I had to spend another $10 to get back on the BART to SFO even though it was only one station.

Nature & Parks
Prominent ridge & state park with hiking trails offering sweeping views of SF & the Bay Area.
Slide 1 of 8
What a great hiking trail with panoramic view from pacific ocean, San Francisco city skyline, bay bridge, Oakland and the wide-open bay. The Summit Loop Trail is a wonderful 3.1 miles trail to hike for two hours and lookout the entire San Francisco city; you can even see the two tall bridge poles of Golden Gate. Highly recommended place for a visit.
Tip: when you pay at the entrance, the third option is for seniors. I love San Bruno Mountain for its wide-open space and stunning views—it’s amazing to find so much nature right next to the city. Plane spotters will enjoy the overhead traffic, and birders can have fun with their app that identifies birdsong. Restrooms are at the parking lot, and there’s a mix of paved and rocky trails.
Great hiking area with lots of interesting terrain. Well maintained trails. Beautiful views of the city and bay, lots of different plant species, wild berries for picking. Costs six dollars to enter and park.
I could see almost the entire bay, and hiking is nice there.
Wonderful mountain hiking area
Great 45 minute hike with views galore.
The trails leading to the summit can be moderately challenging but the rewards are breathtaking views of the Bay Area. Wear comfortable shoes and proceed with care as the soil is loose in some areas. There were very few people on this upward trail on a Friday afternoon. I did encounter at the summit a senior woman who to my surprise told me she regularly exercises by winding up this path.
This Mountain was the focal point of many land-use and open space battles in the 1970s. It is the largest open space area in San Mateo County. There are endangered species here. There are several protection and preservation groups that help keep this area clean and easy to enjoy! If you want to get outside- And-enjoy clean air... this park is a fantastic choice. Several dirt hiking trails, a large picnic area, bathrooms, benches along the trails and a few paved trails make this amazing park great for runners, hikers, families and bird-watchers. $6 fee, parking is at the trail heads past the ranger station. Dress in Layers, bring water, expect wind or fog.

Iconic chocolatier selling chocolate gifts galore, including chocolate squares, bars & baskets.
Slide 1 of 8
The best way to describe the Ghirardelli Chocolate Experience is to imagine if Ghirardelli built its own mall - it's a whole destination dedicated to chocolate. This isn't just a single shop; it's a collection of buildings with a restaurant, a store, a takeout counter, and more, all spread out in a large, walkable square. A helpful tip for first-timers: you don't need tickets to enter. It's an open part of the town that you can freely walk around and explore. I went for their World Famous Hot Fudge Sundae, and while it felt like a week's worth of calories, it was so incredibly good that I have zero regrets. It's a must-try. The staff are also really helpful if you're looking for gifts to take home, and they let you sample some of the chocolates while you shop. For a fun and delicious experience that's more than just a dessert stop, this place is fantastic. It's a quintessential San Francisco treat.
It is a good place to visit when you u visit sfo. The sundaes are real good. We got the Girardale wold famous hot fund he sundae . It is quite good for 2 people. For single person it might become heavy. We went on Friday, I still don’t underatand why all the shops are closed at 9:00 PM. Go early by 6-7:00 to enjoy other shops near by.
Full disclosure - we didn't do any research beforehand, so went in not knowing anything about it. We thought that if we were going to The Ghirardelli Experience that there would be some kind of educational tour, or museum, or chocolate demonstration - but we didn't see any of that. The main building was just a shop for purchasing their chocolate, some themed trinkets, and an assortment of ice cream desserts featuring their chocolate toppings. That being said, we did have a small hot fudge sundae, and enjoyed walking around the complex with eclectic shops and posh restaurants. There is a parking garage in the bottom of the complex. If you go during the week (M-Th), they will validate parking. We were there on a Friday, so we paid the $18 for 3 hours.
The Ghirardelli Chocolate Experience is located in a beautiful square with nice shops and restaurants — definitely worth a visit for the atmosphere. However, the signature hot chocolate was a major disappointment. It tasted like plain hot water with barely any chocolate flavor or creaminess. For a place known for chocolate, the drink was surprisingly bland and thin. Great location, but the quality of the hot chocolate needs serious improvement.
Stopped by Ghirardelli Square on a Sunday afternoon and it was such a treat. I ordered the Dubai style chocolate sundae and it was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with that signature Ghirardelli fudge. The line moved quickly, service was friendly, and it was easy to find a spot to sit even with the weekend crowd. The whole place smells like warm chocolate the moment you walk in, giving it that nostalgic ice cream parlor feel. It is a bit pricey for ice cream, but the quality, presentation, and overall experience make it worth it. The Ghirardelli candy shop next door is also worth a peek if you want to take a little sweetness home. Definitely a fun and classic San Francisco stop.
So nice in the autumn and I imagine it's also beautiful in Christmas season. I went on weekend and it was packed and then I went back on a Tuesday and it was pretty good and no lines. Ice cream is delicious. Although a sundae could easily be shared by 3 or more people. It was not cheap, almost 20 dollars for a Dubai sundae.
One of the most iconic spots to enjoy Ghirardelli chocolate! The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed exploring the mall. We rode the train and the trolley, walked around the park, and soaked in the lively atmosphere. Everything was fun and very pleasant. Definitely a must-visit for anyone who loves chocolate and a great day out. Check out the videos to see everything we enjoyed!
Had a great experience at Ghirardelli! The ice cream was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The chocolate ice cream, in particular, was decadent and smooth — exactly what you’d expect from a place known for its chocolate. A perfect sweet treat while visiting the Wharf. Definitely worth a stop!

I been here many times mainly for late night food since they are open twenty four hours or when I am hungry and happen to be in the area. The security up front do ask for your ID if you look young, other than that your more than welcome to enter. They offer card games only where you play in one of their many tables and no they do not have any slot machines. There is a smoking section/room in the interior, I say if you do need to smoke outside is a better options because you get fresh air. The bar and restaurant is located in the back, American and Asian dishes are available. Everything is made fresh which is always a plus for me, I never mind the wait because I am a very patient person. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have some fun, if you need a quick bite or just a place to relax. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.
Same food server has screwed my food order 3 times now. Never had a problem with the other food servers and have been coming here for over 30 years. She is a recent hire. Doesn't bring me condiments when I order food to eat at facility. Other servers are polite and get my order right or supply basic condiments. Last 2 cheese burgers are 1/2 inch smaller than bun, paid 23.00 for a salmon 3/25 that was barely wider than the fork they give to me last week. Tonight I paid 5.00 for a order of french fries to go and this is what I got and they were barely warm. Your portions are pathetic and false advertising. I DON'T SUGGEST TO EAT THERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF. I tip what I can but the food is getting crappier and smaller portions.
Went to watch the NCAA basketball tournament and no tvs were on the game I wanted to watch. The bartender asked me which channel and he changed a TV for me. Draft beers are only $4 during happy hour. Some food choices for happy hour are cheap as well. Best prices for what you can get in the area.
I did a debit card transaction and it charged me $16.95 for a service charge. When I questioned the cashier the manager in the back said if you don't like it you could leave. I told him it was absurd. $16.95 for a service charge. It seems they're running certain debit card transactions as cash advances. I'm not sure. But the table was cool.
Nice looking place, but no no limit texas holdem so I didn't stay. Staff were friendly and cheerful. Seemed like a nice place to spend some time. If I wan't to plat slots, I would have stayed for a while.
I live nearby and decided to try Artichoke Joe's Food, Awesome Food. this is my second time here. The Asian food is Delicious. Highly recommend
Everyone knows that the casino always wins, but they put an extra dollar charge on each hand of black jack to make sure that the casino wins sooner. I enjoyed my visit, but didn’t try the food.
Can only speak on the restaurant, the food is fresh hot delicious. And great customer service.

My secong time here (2nd Jan2025) after many years... :) Love it here.
Uma and the person working with her (I think Iko) were amazing. They gave us fantastic recommendations for things to see in the city and explained the history behind certain products to purchase. They made our museum trip even better!
I spent so long in this store that I wanted to buy everything. It's like a toy store for adults with books, stationeries, souvenirs, and everything in between. They are colourful and quirky (some). They remind us there are beautiful things called art out there that are worth our longing.
A nice place to stop by after seeing an exhibition. Clean, friendly staff. One member of the staff shared some information with me and a friend of mine.
I picked up a few unique gifts that I couldn’t find anywhere else. The SFMOMA store is perfect for art lovers and anyone who appreciates thoughtful design.
A lot of interesting things to see as we waited our turn to enter. Some very clever and interesting objects, but definitely not cheap. Only sad part was not seeing more interesting puzzles sold.
It is great museum. If you want, you can have audio guide(only English). When I was there it has Magritte special exhibition it was so amazing. Also there’s architecture was so amazing
A fairly large store with good collection of books, fashion accessories, clocks, watches, home goods, children toys, etc. all with modern design touches. Should budget at least 30 minutes during your visit to SFMOMA.

I have not been to the movie theater since before covid. Surprisingly, not much has changed. No remodels or anything like that, but the people who work here were super nice and helpful. We went to watch RealD 3D Lilo and Stitch Fan Event. Surprisingly, the showing we went to wasn't even crowded. I wouldn't recommend watching Lilo and Stitch in 3D, but you gotta do what you gotta do to get the special water bottle stickers. The restrooms and general areas were clean. I bought snacks and got the Stitch popcorn bucket. The food was fresh and hot. Overall, it's a good experience, and I'll be back sooner than later.
Free parking in the structure. Park in the 3rd level for easy access to movie theater. Arcade games are available. Popcorn, hotdogs, and other snacks are available. Seats are not recliners. Restrooms smell.
I usually watch the $5 secret movie on selected Mondays and $7 discounted Tuesday movies. Theater is very clean everytime I visit. I also buy the popcorn and I usually have to add a little more butter and salt. But I always ask to put butter halfway filling the bag. Staff is always friendly. Bathrooms are somewhat clean. I don't know what's gonna happen when the mall closes down. Is it staying or moving or closing down?
Nice theater! No adult beverages, if you're looking for that. But nice seats and screens. Good access from the parking lot with a food court just below. Good for a pre-movie meal or post-movie meal.
Theater was 80%clean. Not a lot of left items but armrest was sticky. 1st showing of the day so not sure if it didn't get properly cleaned the prior night. However it was not busy, great seats. Movie was awesome, xd, sounds was LOUD but impressive. Really an overall great experience...overpriced snacks but hey thats ALWAYS been a factor. I dont go out much to the theater because honestly it is an expense but it sure brought back memories of good times of going... will go again for movies that will be a better experience than just watching on tv!
I’ve been coming here for years. Food is good. Theatre setup is nice, but tonight when I was grabbing what I needed before my movie how to train your dragon for 10pm on June 17, I asked for pizza and the Filipino guy had an attitude and said they were not making any tonight. I feel like he was making excuses. I’ll still come here since it’s close to my house but I’m disappointed with this experience. They usually DO serve pizza so that’s why I am aggravated. That is the reason I’m giving 3 stars and not 5. Unless someone like a manager can address this issue, then I will change my rating to 5 stars.
It’s a decent movie theater, I watched a movie here on a Friday afternoon, and it was easy to find the theater. They’ve elevators that take you directly from the parking up to the floor on which the theatre is. I wish the seats were a little more comfortable considering the prices that they charge. The acoustics inside the theater were good, and the staff seemed helpful. In case you’re coming via Caltrain, the nearest train station(San Bruno) is a 12 minute walk from the theater. The Bart station is right next to where the theater is.
Please don't be fooled by the select stadium seats!!! Theatre 17, which I sat in today, has OLD, NASTY SEATS WITH STAINS... there were only about 10 people in this particular show and the floors were sticky and paper littered about the floor. Cinemark needs to pay it's employees more so that they can take incentive on how the show rooms look inside... if you come to this theatre bring some paper or something disposable to sit on instead of sitting on the seats, there is no way these seats can be sanitized... I sat on my jacket while thinking about the dirty seats. The group I was with could not bear it any longer and the manager came over and comp our $30 we paid for 3 seniors tickets , that was thoufhtful... maybe the kids could give it a try or just come when the lights are off, but I can't come back again. Upon leaving I realized I left my security blanket jacket which I sat on instead of the chairs. I ran back to the theatre which has already been cleaned!!!! 😎 sure enough my jacket was still sitting on the seat and paper left in the cup holders. So much for cleaning. I have this place a 3 because the kettle corn was the best I have ever had!!! Excellent
Sanatan Mandir

Sanatan Mandir in San Bruno is a very good and peaceful place for worship. The atmosphere is truly devotional, and you can feel a sense of calm as soon as you enter. The temple is well-maintained, and the spiritual events like bhajans and aartis are very uplifting. It’s a great place to connect with your faith and experience a strong cultural and devotional environment.
This mandir has been my favorite since the last 20+ years and the Pandit ji is very well educated in Sanskrit and recites the vedas with real time explanations. My kids (girls) understand his explanations and now they only go to Pandit ji when they have questions about any rituals or Pooja. That being said there have been some very negative reviews about Pandit ji. That he is greedy and asks for $$ but one has to know that our scriptures and Vedas/puran all say that : Dakshina In they Vedic period, dakshina was a service fee paid to Brahmins or priests in exchange for a service. Also A donation, fee, or honorarium given to a cause, temple, monastery, spiritual guide, or after a ritual. It can be expected, voluntary, or a tradition So I am not sure why someone should have an issue with this. Please try going to other big temples where they have a price list of all services. At least this mandir is at will. So no the Pandit ji is not greedy. And about some comment about Pandit ji wrapped in a blanket and sleeping in the back room.. it’s not at like that. Pandit ji and other priests who follow the rules correctly shower every time they use the bathroom and it’s freezing in the temple during winter when no one is there. The management does not allow Pandit ji to turn on the heat just for himself , so how is one to keep warm? About being raciest and not respecting women .. well he is not and never was. There are certain things during a Pooja women are not allowed to do so for him to say no is not being rude. The mandir management has revised there rules and changes are very visible lately, and Pandit ji is just an employee so he is also trying to follow the rules set forth. Please do not defame someone if you don’t know the whole story.
I love THE TEMPLE WITH ALL MY HEART and will give ***************************************stars but… Pandit is a different story, a very money orientated person. I perceive him a bit greedy. For example, in one of the sermons he said, “…whether you offer presents to God or not…must give dakshina to the pandit.” He will cut services short to tie up Molly on parishioners. Collects Dakshina again. Also the same pandit’s sermon is like he is teaching a 1st or 2nd grader. Humiliating us by saying, “you do not remember this and that. I have told you so many times.” Pundit goes off topics on hand to unrelated stories. If one asks a question for which he doesn’t have an answer, he says, “you do not understand. Ask me the question afterwards.” Never encourages devotees participation. I believe that this pundit is not performing at a scholar or pundit knowledge level. I go to the temple to listen and participate in singing religious songs. Community participation and socialization. FYI - I met pandit one week after he arrived to San Bruno Temple. Hence I have known him for decades.
Great mandir in the heart of San Bruno downtown. Parking is also available behind the temple but can get full fast. Radhe krishna, and shiva are worshipped here, every Tuesday evening bhajans are arranged. Special occasions are wonderfully celebrated with lovely community.
I visit this temple regularly, my kids accompany me most of times. We love visiting this temple, especially kids shows interest coming here is because of pandit ji, he was always nice with us. He offers prasad every single time while leaving and ask about whereabouts.
I visited the temple after dropping off my parents at Airport. Pandit Ji was very nice and blessed me for well being of my parents and for my marriage. 😊 Will come back again. 🙏 Jai Shree ram! Jai mata di!
Great mandir in the middle of the town. Parking is behind the building. Peaceful and hygienic
I usually never ever write reviews but this time I was left with no choice. Pandit was mean and didn't care about feelings. He only wanted money and was pushy about getting paid. He didn't seem to care much about helping people spiritually. This temple is close to my house but every time we visit the temple pandit keeps on interrupting us while worshipping which is very frustrating. The pandit behavior was extremely disrespectful and discriminatory. He showed no respect for people who were different from him, treating them unfairly because of their race. He made others feel unwelcome to the temple. Every time, I had to think twice to visit this temple because I have to deal with him. It was clear that he did not believe in treating everyone equally, which is supposed to be a core value of religious leaders.

I buy a Bluetooth speaker here with a very attractive price The staff here is friendly, moreover, when our kid left a puppy sheep in the shop, the staff helped deliver it to us rapidly. Thank you so much to make our trip perfect 👍
Disappointed to find the same pillow priced $30 cheaper at the store next door. Definitely not a good value here.
The workers here were very kind to me! Helped me find what I was looking for and there were able to answer questions about a product I was shopping for. I ended up purchasing some open fit SHOKZ. Looking for a place to get a last minute set of headphones for that long flight, this is the place! Lots of options!
I feel sorry for whoever pays these people! Was in the shop for about 10 minutes and the female sales assistant didn't even look up from her phone. I assume shop lifters give this place a 5 star 🤨
The worst shop I've been experiencing, the salesman attitude is really bad and mean, who name is Jonathan. Also after I paid, he said the transaction not completed that refused I took my stuffs, but they took my money already from my card.
I was sold a charger from imotion that doesn’t work and they will not offer a refund for it. The very kind manager stated he did not want his name on the return and told me I needed to call corporate. They don’t accept returns on chargers because they are concerned about people using it as a rental. They should add that to the bussiness model then if that’s what is concerning them. Also this is not displayed anywhere that chargers are not refundable. If you are reading this it’s prob too late and you are out 43 dollars.
A bit over priced but since I had a long flight I still bought a headset from them. However, my one star is for the very poor customer service and attitude of the sales girl there called Massey. She does not know how to talk to customers. It would seem like she is being forced to work there.
The gentleman running the counter was kind enough to provide me recommended products for my specific needs. He was additionally transparent about pricing, warranty, and other contents. Never thought I’d buy a good pair of headphones at an airport; this is certainly a first, and deservedly so.

I only do strength training and there are always available machines (at most wait for several minutes). It's my favorite one!
Staff super friendly and helpful. Small gym that has all equipment I need as well as a deadlift platform and bumper plates. The machines are older and in some cases are showing their age. All in all, pleased with my experience so far.
Absolute worst customer experience. I came with a friend who helped me with some exercises and they kicked us out claiming he can't be there as a "coach". Refused to show rules stating that friends can't help each other. At least they gave me a refund otherwise it would have been 0 stars
I asked to cancel my subscription and the attendant at the physical store said that everything was canceled and that I didn't need to worry. After a few months I noticed that they were deducting the monthly fee that I had canceled from my account. I called and they informed me that I had 3 accounts with the same name, phone number and address and that I had not canceled all 3. I asked to cancel my account the first time and they informed me that they had canceled it! How am I supposed to know that I have 3 accounts with the same information... they made this mistake and I am paying for it. I was informed that I will not receive a refund for this mistake of theirs and I did not even use the gym. BE CAREFUL! THIS PLACE ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY!
This is a no frills gym with wide open hours and all the necessary equipment for a normal workout. Their pricing makes it a pretty competitive option if you live in Belmont San Mateo.
I like this gym. I train at 5am. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because they sometimes don't open on time.
Convenient and affordable. Small with few frills but definitely worth what you pay for. I have 2 complaints. 1. When I got my tour before joining I was told they were getting a hip thrust machine which was a big selling point but it's been 8 months and still nothing. 2. I swear they play the same Playlist in the same order every day. I have heard Yeah! by usher at 7:30 AM almost every single day for 8 months. At first it was fun, then it was funny, and now I think a little part of me dies each time it comes on.
Surprisingly well equipped gym. It has ample machines, free weights and cardio equipment and everything is well maintained and cleaned. This is a budget friendly gym, so bring your own towel and lock if you plan to store things in the locker. There's a small changing room next to the lockers as well. Overall, good value gym for your money!

Polaris Lounge is good standard, every other club in different terminals are substandard. Polaris has good dining and showers parable to international standards. ✈️🍽️🚿 #PolarisLounge #Dining #Showers #InternationalStandards
The United Business Class Lounge offers a refined and luxurious experience that elevates travel to an entirely new level. The lounge’s elegant design, with its sleek furnishings and thoughtfully arranged seating areas, creates an inviting space to relax or work in comfort. The culinary offerings are equally impressive — a curated selection of gourmet bites, fresh seasonal fare, and premium beverages ensures every palate is well indulged. Attentive staff provide seamless service throughout, anticipating needs with grace and efficiency. Whether enjoying a glass of champagne, catching up on work in the well-equipped business area, or simply unwinding before your flight, the United Business Class Lounge delivers an experience that is both polished and indulgent. For discerning travelers, this lounge is a true haven of style and comfort — a flawless prelude to the journey ahead.
We were traveling with 5 pets and I was terrified. All the other airlines only allowed 4 pets per plane, but united allowed 6. I had to buy 5 tickets and bring a 3rd person, but I was able to bring all my pets on the same plane. I was worried the staff would be irritated but everyone was so incredibly nice. No one berated us or was short tempered. They made the process so easy and relaxed. I hope I never have to make another move like this again, but if I do, I will definitely fly with United.
Nice lounge, definitely a little nicer than the typical united lounge. Better food options, including a service dining room with very friendly wait staff. Drink options are definitely more premium. Still was on the busier end of the spectrum but always able to find a seat.
It was very learning experience with United Airlines economy class. It was functional but not luxurious travel experience. While the service and entertainment was generally well-regarded, it could be more better if United Airline starts investing in it.
Horrible service. Waiting on turmac since 57 min. First gate occupied. Then new gate. Then waiting for crew. Then crew moved to another priority aircraft. Then shift change since it in midnight now. Plane landed at 11 pm, it's 11.57 pm now still waiting on turmac. Several passengers are missing their international connections. Badly managed. Worst airline at SFO.
The Polaris lounge was excellent. It's better than the Centurion lounge (which I love). You can enjoy the buffet or sit down in their restaurant and be served. Plenty of space to relax or get work done before you fly. You must be seated in the Polaris section on the plane to access.
My family and I had a seat together but when we arrived an elderly man sat in our seat in the middle of the row, then took over the whole row and coughed profusely and farted every time he coughed which was every few minutes. The flight attendant tried to help us but the man would not listen nor follow direction. He would even take off his shoes and socks and stick his feet over my family when she sat in her seat. It was so bad the flight attendant had to move her to the back of the plane. It was the most uncomfortable flight and experience I’ve ever had. The 3 of us traveled together and never experienced such behavior of a man taking over the whole row of our ticketed seats, coughed, farted, and put his feet on our seat the whole way from San Francisco to Seoul Korea. That’s 12 hours!

Awesome place for kids to play. Very reasonable price and kids enjoy a lot here. Very well maintained too. Must visit place for all kids 😊
Really good spot, my son Nikolai had a great time. I dont know if it was prime time or what, but it was pretty crowded. At some point there was 6 adults by the stairway blocking all the little ones. Affordable place, only $10 for the day, so you can have a bite an return to play.
Our boy is 19 months and loves to be here atleast once a month . It's clean and good for young kids. Most of games are safe. Our kid loves sky jump and slide. Only thing sometimes is with elder kids playing makes it little hard for younger ones, but that should be managed by parents .
Nice space for toddlers and babies. It's clean and the staff are attentive. They provide private restroom inside, which is convenient for solo parent with kids to watch for.
We had a party for our 4 year old there & it was fantastic! The most relaxing experience for the parents. They had everything set up when we got there, the play area is perfect for up to 5 yrs old. Parents don’t stress if their kids will get hurt cause the play area is all gentle toys. The b-day party rooms are amazing. Staff so helpful. I really can’t say more great things.
My son love this place we normally got their 2 times the week .The staff is really friendly
This is one of the best indoor activities for kids!! It's affordable and convenient. They even offer drop off services now so your children can play while you shop. The play areas are cleaned frequently. There is one worker dedicated to making sure all areas are free of obstacles. She was even vacuuming. I would recommend it to anyone who has children between the ages of 9 months and 5 years old. Older kids might get bored.
I planned my youngest daughter's first birthday here, I visited this place with my other children when they were small, but i hadnt been here since they updated allot of their equipment, we had about 12 kids that were all under the age of 5 we had our party in room 2 which was a very big room and was able to hold all our guests, there is a sink and a refrigerator & each room has a cart that you can use to bring your party supplies from your car into Hop N' Play, a young lady named Sara set up our room and assisted us, she did an absolutely beautiful job setting up the room exactly how I envisioned it, it's so awesome they supply the table cloths, plates, napkins, and cups you only need to worry about bringing your cake and food which is a huge huge stress relief when you're planning a party for a large group, they even had utensils to cut the cake. My one-year-old baby loved the party room, she walked around clapping at the balloons, once we went to the play area after the room time was up she absolutely loved the play area all of the kids from our party had a great time we did throw the party on a Saturday so it did get very busy at times but that should be expected. I would definitely throw a party here again. The staff were also cleaning constantly, vacuuming and disinfecting things which I absolutely Loved!!!! There were some sick kids running around so it was great the staff was so attentive to cleaning.
