Oregon State University

Public university
Sights & Landmarks
Research-centric public school founded in 1868, with popular engineering & science programs.
Slide 1 of 8
Oregon State University is everything UC Davis pretends to be but fails at. At OSU, the focus is on actual education, innovation, and building skills that employers value. Professors are approachable, research is meaningful and accessible, and the environment is collaborative without being fake. The culture here supports thinkers, builders, and doers — not just social climbers and box-checkers. There’s space for individuality and excellence, and they don’t punish you for not conforming to some unspoken political script like they do at UC Davis. Let’s be real: UC Davis is all branding, no substance. The tuition is inflated, the bureaucracy is thick, and you’ll spend more time figuring out how to “navigate the system” than you will actually learning. Unless you're in a niche STEM field with a connected advisor, the school does little to support your long-term career — and even then, you’re often stuck in oversaturated programs with limited mentorship. Worse, the whole place thrives on fake niceness — surface-level harmony where everyone smiles while undermining each other behind the scenes. Smart, independent students often get sidelined, while the loudest or most conformist get promoted. It’s exhausting and disheartening. And the ROI? A joke. People graduate from UC Davis buried in debt, underprepared for real-world work, and with no professional network unless they already had one going in. OSU, on the other hand, gives you better value, better access, and a better launchpad — with none of the UC attitude. If you want real education, go to Oregon State. If you want stress, debt, and disappointment wrapped in a leafy campus and a shiny brochure, UC Davis is waiting.
This University is incredibly unprofessional and points the finger to way too many different departments. I would like to specify that "Student Account Services" is by far the most unprofessional, unclear and difficult department I have dealt with in higher education as ECampus student. The supervisor whom I don't even recall their name was incredibly rude, told me I was incorrect and that my benefit (Guild) was the one incorrect with billing. Impossible to speak to an advisor and the worst UI I've ever dealt with.. causing me to be unable to drop Summer classes for a Fall registration hold and now I have to appeal 3 departments for financial aid, it is unfathomable. While this is rated the 4th best college for online learning! Just get a certification people - there's no shock less and less people want to attend college.
My wife and I came here for lunch—it was quiet with plenty of shade from the trees. Lots of green space to relax. Very enjoyable. I hope to come back soon.
Awesome campus! Old world charm , walkable and even easy parking. Well integrated into the city. Common area buildings were immaculate and well maintained. Everyone we met was relaxed and enjoyed being there.
Beautiful campus and everything within a good range for students to handle their affairs.
Beautiful campus. Amazing people. I would highly recommend for engineering or any other major.
Rec center is awesome. Athletic programs are reasonably priced. Campus is wide open and easy to manage. Student store is nice too
It was a great visit, clean, accommodating, and easy to walk around.

This place is so lively and happening, it will change your mood instantly. All sorts of fresh foods are available here, from jams to meat! The whole atmosphere is so organic and authentic, feels like a carnival! The live performers are the cherry on top.
Super fun and lovely and pet friendly, will be back. I got lots of awesome things from local people, including a hand made crochet kitty, delicious kimchi and the best pickled garlic ever! My dog was BEAT after all the love he got while walking around. A genuinely wholesome experience.
Love the vibe and live music. The vendors are chill and everything just feels so fresh. Definitely family friendly, if that's your thing. And please ty of seasonal and artisan foods, tchotchkes, clothing, and more.
Fun, relaxing and featuring a good selection. The market runs twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with the Saturday version being much larger and busier. You can get seasonal produce, fresh baked goods, and other items. The Saturday market is also paired with the Maker's Market, featuring arts and crafts. Definitely worth visiting.
My family and I really enjoyed the Farmer's Market! :) Unfortunately, we didn't arrive until the event was nearly over. :( I wish they were open until 2:00 that Saturday.
We bought jams, apples, cider, veggies and baked goods. All so good. We ended up buying three varieties of apples. Some for drying and some for fresh eating. Our favorite jam was the sour cherry, plus the sunshine. Bring a rolling cart so you can bring all your goodies home or to your car.
I realy love going to the fresh organic sprouts stand. The family is realy friendly and gives you a great deal. Plus free samples
Amazing farmer's market. The variety and quality of the produce, meat, cheese, fungi, berries was impressive. Especially unique are the 'grain' guy from Junction City, the waterfowl eggs, and crepe stall. You will also find local crafts, a knife sharpening stall, and several musicians. Wonderful!

I love this refuge!! There are so many great trail options & you will almost always see some wildlife when you come through. There are bathrooms but very limited in the park, not all trailheads will have one so keep it in mind. All trails are pretty easy, none crazy challenging.
A bird watcher's paradise honestly, and it's huge! A must visit in Oregon if you appreciate birds. I saw tundra swans, wild turkeys, raptor birds, cormorants, a heron, ducks, and more all in one day. There were also spots with viewing scopes to better see the waterfowl.
Wonderful area with plenty of trails, plants, and flowers to see. Also, birds!
Great place for wildlife photography, I especially enjoyed the woodpecker loop trail.
Absolutely stunning views and so much wildlife. I especially enjoyed seeing the egrets and wooly bears. I would definitely classify the paths as more of nature walks instead of hikes, and therefore very easy to navigate with little to no hills. ***If you're visiting the reserve in autumn, be sure to take extra caution and watch your step for uneven ground on the trails that might be covered by leaves.
Really awesome spot. I've yet to explore all of it yet because there is so much, but it's a really cool chunk of land. Parts of it close from Nov to March I believe, but there are still some trails open.
This place is so cool! I came here to "watch" the eclipse; I caught a glimpse for about 2 seconds! Darn weather. But afterwards, I stayed in the refuge to check it out. I walked the Campell Marsh/Hoffman loop and enjoyed it! The boardwalks are in really good condition. I also visited the little store they've got and it was so cute! The whole area around it was recently renovated and is a great hub (with flush toilets!). Lastly, I did the Woodpecker Loop hike and was glad I did: short, simple, but quite the looker! I look forward to visiting here a lot more in the future.
We came into the refuge from the northeast on the road that Waze directed us to. Finley road. Stopped an got a map, near a pond that I can't remember the name of, but that pond wasn't on the map. The map was kind of confusing. We finally found something that was on the map and at the other end of the refuge, I believe the Southeast side, we were able to see a few areas on the map. Anyway, not a lot of wildlife to see, we saw a snake, some turkey's with babies and wood ducks with babies, a great egret and heard lots of birds but couldn't see them. The boardwalk need some love. Some rails are rotting and some loose boards here and there. Otherwise, it was a nice day trip.
Peavy Arboretum

Arboretum

Peaceful standby featuring a varied assortment of plant life & several hiking trails.
Slide 1 of 8
We hiked to the peak! From the parking lot, it was 6.23 miles round trip. It took my husband and I about 2 hours and 20 minutes, with several picture stops. What I love about this place is that you can make various different trips and always seem to find a new trail to try out! The trails are very clean, as in, I have not once found any trash! Kudos to our community as well as, I'm sure, a trail maintenance team! The ability to park at various starting points is also very nice. The lake is always a fun hike for a shorter trek, especially with children, because you can see the frogs if you're lucky! Another fun point by the lake is the OSU wood crew and the various signs you can read about what they're working on. This is a great place to go if you're looking for a short or a long hike!
We are so fortunate to have this wonderful forest so close and we go almost every day. There's a wide variety of hiking trails for all ages and abilities. The only thing that sometimes sullies the experience is the entitled people who don't leash their dogs and don't pick up after them. Please don't be that person. The Arboretum deserves better.
What a great discovery. A plethora of trails to explore. Very dog friendly. So glad we went and will return. From OSU: "Peavy Arboretum has served as an outdoor teaching lab for generations of children and adults, and is a welcoming place for visitors interested in a picnic by the pond or a long hike in the moutains. Its history is rich, and the land still shows evidence of use by the Kalapuya people, the Oregon State Forest Nursery, and the Civilian Conservation Corps Camp Arboretum. Currently, the Arboretum hosts trailheads and walking paths open to the public, the George Brown Logging Sports Arena, and the OSU Research Forests Business Office. Arboretum maintenance is funded entirely by timber harvested on the OSU Research Forests."
Great place for a quick hike with good variety. Trails range from easy to moderate and have something for everyone. Off leash dog friendly too. Highly recommend for casual nature walker to intermediate hiker, depending on trails taken. Tip: pick up a map from local bike shop to get a terrific picture of all of the trails - bike, people or horse. Smaller trailhead maps are sometimes available, but the locals know where to go and these maps help everyone else.
This park had so many trails for all levels I had a hard time deciding which way I wanted to go so I went a little ways on multiple trail. There were informational pieces about the land throughout the hiking trails. I went very early and I was nearly by myself, as the morning wore on there was an abundance of people. The park was easy to find and there was ample parking.
Very easy hiking trails. Lots of beautiful views of you take the Banzai trail. The Section 36 and Powder House trails have gorgeous views as well. Not many people in the summer time.
My only complaint about Peavy is the lack of water filling stations. The few places / parking lots I’ve parked at I haven’t seen a water faucet to be able to fill water bottles. Luckily I brought over 2 L of water and went through most of it walking 5.25 miles in 80 F weather.
Beautiful and detailed park with a very unique history! Amazing collection of giant sequoias, coastal redwoods, and 2 majestic dawn redwoods. The trees are well marked and some signs have QR codes with links to additional information

An absolutely stunning hike with breathtaking views at every turn. The trail is bathed in sunlight, offering the perfect balance of warmth and shade from the beautiful trees that line the path. The mountain views are truly spectacular, making this a must-see for nature lovers. It's also an excellent trail for biking, with smooth, scenic routes that take you through some of the best landscapes. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful day outdoors!
Went bike riding here and loved it! The scenery is priceless, famous for sunsets and owls. Trails are beautiful, clearly marked and well maintained! Snakes also love sunbathing on the gravel.
A beautiful walk 3 minutes outside of Corvallis. A flat portion takes you through a field on a paved trail, but you can also climb to top of hill. We stayed on the low portion and it was beautiful.
Nice hike with great views! We hiked up for the views and then you hike back down. Several options of trails to add on. Our loop was 2.7. It was partially in the sun and also nice shade along the way. Parts were a bit buggy with gnats but not biting insects. Per the other post we didn’t see poison oak. It was a great time for our family!
My nephew discovered a place to run. Cross Country Season for High School is approaching and he is getting in a little distance running for practice begins. Cool area. "Lot's ter do," to paraphrase Rubeus Hagrid.
Pretty nice place. There are tons of small secret road you can go die for. You can always change your mind to make your trails shorter if you want. Doesn’t really crowded and it can goes about an hour or so to complete the trails.
It's a great place to go for walk, run or a hike. I enjoy the trails, I mainly come here for my runs. People are courteous, and a friendly reminder, make sure that if you're running or riding your bike, be courteous enough to notify the people for your own safety and theirs.
I love the Bald Hill area! There are lots of trails around and several access points, such as Oaks, Reservoir Rd, and the Fairgrounds. The area is beautiful at all seasons, and there is a lovely view of Corvallis from the top with some benches to sit. There are horse trails and off leash areas too.

Great place for a hike! Wide logging roads masks for easy social distancing. Bring your mask and leash your dogs when passing others. Most everyone is considerate, and we would love to keep it that way!
Took the family here for some outdoors fun, it was absolutely beautiful up there. There are so many different trails to hike and has trails that are fairly easy up to moderate. The only hard part was for my mom who has some back/knee problems and that was because of the steepness of the trails we hiked. Other than that it was amazing up there and I highly recommend these trails, especially those just starting out getting fit and hiking.
Great trail system with plenty to see and plenty to do! Trails range from easy to moderate, some horse accessible, mountain bike accessible, and I think all are hiking accessible. One of my favorites to work out at, do some rucking, or trail running. I believe it is dog-friendly and there are bathrooms available at the main parking area. There are maps available and posted at the main trail, it also connects to several other trails (I believe Chip Ross for one). Overall, great place to be in nature! 10/10
Great options for all standards of walkers, hikers and bikers.
Awesome Hike , would definitely come back
Trail 11 minutes from Corvallis, it is an excellent place for a short walk in the forest. There is an old-growth hike worth exploring.
Great place to enjoy on a weekend ir whenever else. Nice roads and trails with nice views of mountains and valleys in between!
A very good place to hike. Has sun and shade. Nice atmosphere and well kept trails!!

Beautiful variety of roses. Go near the street to view the bulletin board that has all the names of the roses. (But not in order by location). Better than that is a QR Code to download an interactive map site, naming each rose. (Free. No ticket needed)
I love coming here and walking around looking at all the wonderful hard work put into the beautiful arrangements of different roses! It smells so amazing, and there are so many little cozy places to sit and read or enjoy overlooking the park
Beautiful rose garden even after season has almost passed. Nice place for a meditative walk!
Even my husband enjoyed this. He took more photos than I did, and wants to help me plant roses now! Wish we lived closer, so we could volunteer. Weeds are taking over in the heirloom roses.
Beautiful, relaxing place. Quite the variety of roses that are well-kept. There are a few areas to sit along the paths too. There is a parking lot nearby and a few other areas of the park - more walking paths and shelter.
This is a wonderful place for a wedding.
_____ what ah cool place to go and get a bit of color and calmness..... smells good too ✨️
The roses are always so beautiful, but I find myself wanting to cut off the dead heads so that more roses could grow!

Loved our visit here!! We run a bar & pool hall in Boise that serves 2 Towns ciders and were very excited to try some of the things we have a harder time getting back home. Jessie & Tim were both excellent, giving us a small tour and helping us decide what to try. Everything we had was so tasty and it truly was the highlight of our trip.
Lovely people, excellent cider. The flats sale and rainbow onesie were unexpected bonuses. It's graduation weekend so it got VERY BUSY after 5pm. Luckily we got there just after 4, so my favorite couch table was still available.
Fun cider place. Atomic pinnacle is top notch. Staff were great... allowed us to sample a few not on draft to determine which ones we loved the best.
My favorite cider on planet Earth! Been here several times and I'm a huge fan of there slushy concoctions. Today I made it for the dock sale and left with a hand truck full of flats of cider. Money well spent and a bargain of a deal. Their cask series is excellent and there are plenty of handles to choose from with rotating taps. Again I suggest the shushies! Lots of swag! I always leave with a new frisbee. Cans and bottles to go as well as sixers and limited release ciders. Food truck on site. Outdoor seating as well.
Love their cider. Staff was SUPER helpful and let us try a bunch of ciders before we ordered our flights.
I've been here multiple times, last time they let us stay past close to wait for our uber, this most recent time (today) the two gentlemen working made it a point to stop and make sure we had safe rides home and offered to wait with us if we felt unsafe alone despite the fact that they closed 30 minutes prior. I have always had a great experience here and had the most exceptional customer service. Not to mention how good the drinks and snacks are. 100/10 recommend!
I was at the festival as the designated driver. Went to the car to get my girlfriend's sunglasses. They wouldn't let me re-enter as a designated driver. Cited internet rules but I didn't see or hear anything about leaving. They had a good laugh at my frustration and lots of trading smirks. I love how people hide behind rules and have their little victories over others. I'll never go there again but they won't notice the loss of my business or ever realize they were being jerks.
Always great to stop by the 2 Towns Ciderhouse for a taster of the newest ciders on tap. I always plan to walk out with a 4-pack or 6-pack for out of town friends. Great knowledgeable staff to take care of any questions or inquiries & very attentive to all even in the craziest time of day.

Last summer my family and I did a seven-week road trip all over the West. It's funny, but we always talk about how much we loved Siuslaw; it is nothing short of spectacular. In a trip dominated by national parks with huge land marks, Siuslaw has no single attraction (like a Half Dome, Jenny Lake, Hurricane Ridge, etc). The overall splendor of the place is so lovely though. Cape Perpetua is lovely - we loved the tide pools and Thor's Well. Honestly, Oregon is a stunning place - no shortage of things to see and do. But you need to make a point of visiting Siuslaw.
Being outdoors can help your mind and body at the same time and has powerful benefits to children. We love helping families, schools, and community groups get their kids outside to explore the forest. Whether they’re hiking under big trees, poking around tidepools, learning about streams or meadows, or just being silly on a sand dune, kids gain a lot from time spent outside. The Siuslaw offers many ways for kids and families to experience nature and pique their curiosity about the world around them. Planning a national forest adventure? There's an app for that! The USDA Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region is excited to announce that the recently launched Pacific Northwest Forest Service recreation app is now available in Android and iOS mobile platforms. The new recreation app is based on a mapping interface that allows visitors to find recreational opportunities near them. The app also provides information on hiking trails, camping, picnicking, boating areas, and more across 16 national forests, one national scenic area, and two national volcanic monuments in Oregon and Washington. In addition, users will find other important information on passes and fees, visitor center locations and office hours, and alerts on fires and road closures. View All Features Spotlights Marys Peak On a clear day, from the top of the Marys Peak, the highest point in Oregon’s Coast Range, you can see both the Pacific Ocean to the west and many of the Cascade peaks to the east.
I ordered parking passes online and they sent me a confirmation email with broken download links. You apparently can’t get any kind of customer service from them either. Thanks for taking my money and giving me nothing in return. What a joke.
It is such a beautiful place with beautiful hikes. I could go to a new area everyday for a long long time until I got even remotely tired if seeing it's beautiful and diverse views...
Beautiful sights down almost every trail, and I doubt I've seen 10% of what it has to offer, the dunes, thors well. This is a place we adventure often.
Beautiful hike and amazing suspension bridge! Easy as far as hikes go, the drive can be little bit crazy, but well worth it.
If you have a car that can get you up to the start of the trail of Kentucky Falls, do it. It's beautiful.

Fall fest was well laid out for a crowd. Many high end vendors. The craft Fair that was adjacent to Fall Fest made for an active day, especially when parking was 2-4 blocks away from event. Food was good. Hot dog, hibiscus drink, Marion berry crepe, Lemonade and popcorn. I think a few more food booths would have helped the long lines. Many kids at playground looked safe. Dogs not allowed in park. Portable toilets clean with mirror! Food court had ample seating.
The community band gave a concert in the park & it was very fun! I noticed new playground equipment for kids; updated & safe. I can't wait to bring my grand kids!
Came here for the Corvalis Fall Festival... we enjoyed the many art displays & delicious food. Live entertainment was wonderful; we had a wonderful time.
Admittedly, I have lived in the area my entire life and yet the first time I visited Central Park was for the 2023 Fall Festival- and I wasn't disappointed. The park is spacious and wheelchair accessible, which is something I keep in mind while on outings with my mother. My only real complaint would be that finding a nearby parking spot is difficult, but that's more so a downtown Corvallis problem and not a Central Park problem.
What a fun family adventure. This, a park as parks should be. Excepting the Homeless on the Western periphery. Parents bring their children here for frolicsome good time fun. Fun, the children have. A strange soft surface where, in my youth, would have been hard black top. Knee abrasive, elbow bruising, ankle twisting hard top. The kids here today, and my nephew, ran around with abandon. They do not know it is a little bit safer to play on than I'm my day. They are just having imaginative good times. Yes, for the children. I did not have my phone. No pictures. Go here. Near to the OSU campus. Play here. Derive joy for yourself and others.
This a great city park. The playground was recently updated with all new equipment and soft surface. The re is a stage area that is often used for local performances. The library used the stage for reading stories to the kids during the summer months and is just a very nice place to walk around.
Located between downtown Corvallis and the campus of Oregon State University, Central Park hosts free music concerts in the summer. Music is fun and played by the Corvallis community band just before sunset. Take a blanket or some lawn chairs and enjoy an hour plus of musical relaxation 🎶 on a warm summer evening!

Great place just north of town to hike for a view of the whole surrounding vista! Park just beyond Calvary Church and take the right trail. There are places to rest for some peace and tranquility as well. Polly loves it up here! 🦮🍁🌄
A short hiking trail with a great view! There is a church right next to the entrance. One good thing about this one is that it has bike trails. There are benches at certain viewpoint for hikers to take a breath and enjoy the view. Overall the trail should take somewhere between 30-60 mins depending on your pace. There is enough space for parking.
This place is great! If you are looking for a nice paved walk, with a friend or a jog alone! I've been here when it's really busy, around game time for the beavs or when it's drab and raining,it's beautiful and alive! The birds, the colors and how big the sky looks sometimes is amazing. I come here for a healthy walk or sometimes I come here to clear my head. There are a few unpaved trails as well, that split off, one my lead to another parking lot, and a few that jet up the hill as well! Even when I feel like I don't need a walk to clear my mind, it seems I always feel better leaving here. And a friendly reminder; pick up your trash 🗑️
This is a beautiful hike. The gravel parking lot at the trail head is pretty rough and the trail itself is too. This is not a hike that is easily accessible to strollers or anyone who has trouble with uneven and steep ground. Choose the shorter or longer loop. Beautiful trees along the way and a lovely view at the top. Expect to meet other hikers, dogs, bikers, and horses on this path.
There's beautiful views once you're at the top. Dog friendly (on a leash please, or have them trained well enough). It's a great local hike for when we'd rather get fresh air than hit the gym.
Very beautiful at any time of day. Walk wise it does have a lot of uphill and the trails are not accessible. There are wonderful views and it is a great place to immerse yourself in nature while staying close to the city. I would love to go again.
Chip Ross is one of my all time favorite spots in Corvallis. Amazing view to the town and the valley, some easy/medium trails with benches to rest, and a connection to the university forest. A prefect destination to get away from your busy life and watch the sun set over the coastal mountains.
Lovely Fall walk. Moderate intensity, wear stable footwear, as the path can be slick with leaves or mud. If you don't like dogs, likely not a great choice for you, as there were several with their owners, none leashed. They were VERY well behaved, and not a problem for me, but if you or a dog with you were not prepared, it could be uncomfortable.

Great spot to have a picnic with the family. Big open area, with a park. Great view of downtown and the river front
Confronted by a man who desperately needed a shower and clean clothes. I am strong enough to rebuf the encounter but what if I weren't? I do not recommend visiting this area.
This was our first visit to Corvallis and our first experience at the farmers market. This farmers market was unbelievable! You could get anything from beautiful fresh produce, to freshly smoked salmon, fresh pressed apple cider, fresh made kombucha, I can’t say fresh anymore! Just go!
I love this place. It can get busy and that's to be expected on hot days. There's not much shade so be sure if you're going to stay a while to bring sunscreen. I believe the water turns off promptly at 8 pm but it could be 7 pm.
Beautiful little place to walk in the fall with the leaves at full display. Visited the farmers market and artisan fair on Saturday and enjoyed seeing the various venders and was able to snag a few really great deals on hats, jewelry, and body butter!
Clean area which can be quiet or busy depending on when you go. The hotels near it can be sketchy for some but otherwise lots of attractions around you for food and entertainment.

An absolutely beautiful, intimate theater - I will take any reason to come here (even though it's an hour drive from me)! I've come to a few productions now, and it's always a night to remember. They also have concessions, the staff is lovely, and the plays themselves are so well done.
This local theater is really nice. We really enjoyed the play "The Great Gatsby". The staff & cast were really nice.
What a great little theater in Corvallis! My husband, a friend, and myself went to watch an Improv Show. They have a small concession area which was wonderful. It has a live Facebook "like" counter on the wall, you should check it out when you go. Its a big enough theater that you can really enjoy it, and small enough that there isnt a bad seat in the house. I will definitely keep this place on my radar. I live in Eugene, but it is worth the drive.
I have been to the Majestic for a couple of events and enjoy going to this theater. They put on excellent events and shows.
Nice theater. Good seats. They serve drink and popcorn at the snack bar, and you can take them into the house. Clean restrooms, free water cooler, and some art for sale.
Truly a gem of the Corvallis community! The volunteers and staff work hard to make this a special place to experience theatre and shows. My wife and I both love to volunteer here, both in the shows and helping usher/concessions. See a show here if you have the chance!
This is an awesome theater and venue! I’ve seen many different performances here from community plays and musicals, to kids camp musicals, to concerts. They’ve all been wonderful for the most part. The people working and volunteering here are very kind and friendly. It’s very conveniently located. I would recommend arriving early before a show though, as parking can be limited on a weekend (park on the street or in the small lots surrounding the theater). We love it here!
I’ve been going to the Majestic Theater for the last few years with my 10 year old niece to see all of the appropriate plays there. She loves it (and so do I). She is now going to their summer camp and has been in two plays and even participated a community activity where you could get up in front of everyone and sing a song (she did great)! She even had her last birthday at the Majestic!

Always an amazing place to be in Corvallis. I love the local artists on display and the venue being an old church. The executive director is very knowledgeable and makes for a good experience.
Great spot for a art based break from the City with great interior architecture
The Art Center is a fabulous resource for artists & art aficionados— with a variety of exhibits & media rotated every 6 weeks or so. The young curator is reaching out for more experimental & contemporary art from diverse communities. Most art is for sale. One small gallery is for a one person show usually somewhat intimate. The Gift Shop is fantastic with pottery, textiles, prints, cards paintings & jewelry. A gem of an art museum and it’s free. Lots of classes for youth & adults & fun workshops.go- you won’t be disappointed 💕
The Arts Center's staff is amazing and their events and exhibits are extremely enjoyable. Their historic building really adds to the experience. They do a fantastic job of showcasing local talent. I definitely recommend them to any art lover!
The Arts Center is the hidden gem of The Corvallis arts community. The curator and her commity do a fabulous job of bringing unique exhibits to Corvallis. The old church building lends a ethereal aesthetic to the art displays. The Artshop at the front of the gallery offers local art for sale, and is a great spot to purchase unique gifts.
Great community center for arts and art education. All of the staff and volunteers I've met are amazing. The historic building itself is beautiful as well. An outstanding service to Corvallis.
Always has wonderful shows, the curator is professional and has a great eye for work. The store font does a great job of showcasing local artwork for a reasonable price.
The world-class exhibits, the creative resource of this great community. And soul one of the best kept

Nice loop with a wooden path. Plenty of spots to stop and chill take in the naturerific view.
So nice to breathe in the fresh air while listening to the sounds all around.
Cool in-town spot for a quick outdoor nature walk. Not very hard walk, probably about a 1/2 mile circle, took about an hour to complete it all, some benches and small piers to stop and sit at, boardwalk is pretty well maintained, possibly accessible by wheelchair, all kinds of plants and animals to see. We saw a garter snake at one point, birds, frogs and tadpoles. Went in April so not a ton of wetlands but will definitely check it out during the wet season. Great for a quick easy family outing. Kids enjoyed it.
Didn’t make it through the whole trail but it was beautiful and impressively accessible! You could easily push someone with a wheelchair through here and allow folks to enjoy nature without fear of getting stuck or taking up too much space/blocking the way on the trail. Yay to accessibility! Peaceful. Beautiful. Accessible. Ample parking too! We loved it 🫶🏼
Enter a place of fantasy and visual appeal. You Will believe you walked back in time to your very own. Little secluded place of paradise. Bring water . Have fun exploring. Please stay on trail . For a lot of wildlife. Make there homes in the brush. There are plenty of birds . Some raccoons 🦝. You will definitely have an amazing time walking the boardwalk. Enjoy your exploration. Have an amazing time!
Hiking boardwalk through the wet lands. overnight street parking is allowed iffin you move every 48 hours.. load and bright and sometimes creepy at night.
This is a great accessible walk. There are two accessible parking spaces. The elevated boardwalk is a rustic wood path. It is narrow with plenty of areas to allow others to pass. Benches are available for rest or a picnic. The scenery is beautiful. My only caution is to avoid on days when frost or freeze might be an issue.
Such a beautiful little hike. Don't let the rain deter you. A really great path that leads around beautiful preserved wetlands. So refreshing with birds, trees, grasses and clean air💖

One of the best parks I've ever been to in any city. It feels like you're in nature and everyone there has good vibes. Off leash dog area and the poison oak is well maintained compared to other parks in Corvallis. There still *IS* poison oak tho (I wish I could report it to the parks and recs guys) I've been here several times even though I want to try something new this place has it all.
We only hiked the main paved trail, but it was beautiful, clean, and mostly shaded. We took the dogs on a hike, just maybe 2 1/2 miles, tops, and it was really nice. There is a non-fenced dog park along the way. If tou have good dogs that don't wonder, the dog park, and parts of the trails are available for off leash dogs. The paved trail was a decent width, allowing 3 dogs to walk side-by-side, and 3 people to walk side-by-side behind them with decent spacing. On the paved trail bikes are allowed, so you have to make way every once in a while. The entrance to the trail is by the Disc Golf entrance, and you will see Disc Golf being played throughout. Also, at the entrance, there is a small kid's playground and real bathrooms.
A wet day. Riverrun high and fast. Many fallen leaves. Slippery when wet. Space and sky and water. Quiet. Peaceful. Viable. Joy to the world.
I love to stop in this park on my way back from Junction city to Cornelius. There are lots of hiking trails, playgrounds and of course the Willamette I’m running through it! I’ve seen tubing. Excursions takeoff from there. Tons of fun.
Adjacent to a residential area and kind of a hidden gem. This pristine and well-maintained park sits on the bluff overlooking the Willamette river. There are plenty of wide-open spaces for family gatherings, picnics, soccer and etc. I could imagine this park would be popular with families during the summertime. It is dog friendly but they must be on a leash. Easy access to the river for rock hounds looking for that million dollar stone. Great great place to spend the day
Beautiful multi use park along the Willamette river with several entrances that are wheelchair and dog friendly. The northern end has a multiplex baseball park and a boatramp. The southern end has a disc golf course, soccer fields, a playground and picnic shelter. There are paved bike paths and hiking trails that extend along the entire route and also go further south into an adjoining neighborhood and makes for a beautiful tranquil ride or hike.
Willamette Park is a very shaded and we'll maintained park. The have play equipment, a nice shelter for parties and and nice restroom. This is the entrance to the Willamette Park 18 Hole Disc Golf Course. The weekends can be pretty busy, but not over crowded. There is paved path here that goes to the Corvallis Riverfront, and is a popular location for people to enter the river for tubing.
Off the beaten path, this is a peaceful lovely place to come enjoy the river. Gravel parking lot and port a potty available. Extensive rocky bank with plenty of space to roam. Dogs ok. Not accessible to wheelchairs or strollers. Most comfortable if you bring a camping chair to sit on. I've seen many people fishing here. Look up! Osprey, hawks and eagles fish here too.
