Sorry but we thought the shredded teriyaki chicken was over marinated and dry. The kalbi was tender but too sweet. The Mac was too heavy mayo. 🤦. A bit Disappointed 😞 only plus was the soda was fresh and offered refills. The charbroiled chicken was not bad and the least saltiest amongst what we ordered.

One of the best spots for Hawaiian food in and around Corvallis! The portion sizes are absolutely massive — you will never leave hungry. Everything I’ve tried here has been packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The service is always friendly and fast, and the atmosphere has that laid-back island vibe that just makes you want to hang out. This place is consistently great. I’ll never stop coming back — it’s a must-visit if you’re in the area.

Authentic Hawaiian food that is amazing. Great atmosphere good portions and priced well. Easy to find and has its own parking lot. This is a must have if in Corvallis and it’s reputation precedes it. Service was awesome and people were so friendly. Will go back when we are down south again.

Super yummy food, the macaroni has a bit too much mayo but otherwise really good. Only issue is the cashier has awful service. Blank face, no welcome when we come in or communication when there's a wait to order. Took a sip of a coffee before letting us order. Just weird vibes but I guess that's the price to pay for good food!

Local Boyz Hawaiian Cafe in Corvallis, OR has amazing authentic Hawaiian food. The chicken, steak, hamburger steak, Mac salad are all on point. Cooked well, seasoned well, tastes wonderful. The food was ready relatively quickly. Quaint little dining room, with room to eat outside downstairs if you prefer. We would definitely eat here again!

I don't get it. This place has great reviews. When I came in it was packed with College students. There is a buzz. I ordered the chicken stir fry and was super disappointed. It's basically a big chunk of chicken breast's boiled in water downed teriyaki sauce and a dash of fish bonito. It tastes like something a lazy College student cooks up. If you are a picky eater I think you will like this place.

The girls working here are on their high horse. My friends and I went here after the Beavers football game on Saturday. A place my friends went when they went to college here. It definitely isn’t the same. I ordered the shoyu chicken meal to go and noticed that they only had soy sauce and Tabasco sauce out on the counter to use. Tobacco isn’t even Hawaiian, which is strange. When I noticed they had bottles of Sriracha behind the counter I asked if I could use a little bit over my rice to go with the soy. The girls then preceded to tell me no, that if they did it for me, they would have to do it for everyone. But they could sell me a cup of the sauce for 50 cents. I had already paid and didn’t have any cash on me. I thought this was terrible customer service on their part. I’ve never been to a Hawaiian place that offers Tabasco but not Sriracha for free? I’m baffled and disappointed. Definitely a bad experience to have after a game day and the excitement of getting to try this place. I will not be going back. They also don’t serve Kalua pork which was disappointing too. Even if the food was ok, the service ruined it for me.

This is my first time as a customer to this amazing establishment. I was super impressed by their service. The burger was juicy, tasty and heavenly to my taste buds . The staff went above and beyond. To make sure . This amazing 85 year old woman had her cake . For that alone I am so grateful to staff . This is a local place . Please support this amazing establishment. This is the best burger in Town ! Hands down . Truly a diamond in the rough. A must have is the Hamburger. Cooked to perfection. This is a sit and have a conversation place . Squirrels Tavern in Corvallis this place has been there from what I can tell about 50 years. I wish I would’ve known about it sooner was recommended to me and now I’m recommending it to you I’ve been there a few times now. It is a great place to go and hang out. I love their squirrel, skeleton, T-shirts, and Hoodies and they’re priced reasonably. I ride about 48 miles from Springfield to have lunch and a beer. Beer is always cold and I have tried the Cheeseburger, Cheese steak sandwich, and Patty Melt, add tater tots and their fry sauce for a fantastic meal. The staff is always very polite and Krista is just a delight. She always has a smile. If you haven’t been there yet, I highly recommend you go and see and taste for yourself

This is a WONDERFUL place for either dinner or lunch. Absolutely delicious food, such friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. When you walk upstairs you’re greeted by a fun environment with games and a lounging area, and when you’re in the tavern you see quirky decor and paintings. This is a great family spot or a nice low budget place for a date night. Would definitely come back

Local bar tavern with delicious crispy tater tots! I love their ranch dressing. Dinner was salmon over rice with salad on the side. Unfortunately the rice was burnt shouldn’t have been served. Casual atmosphere, little short staffed, but overall a great place to hang out.

Just felt weird do not recommend I changed my mind. Tried to talk to people that kept looking down. It was just freaking weird. I think I’m about to leave Oregon. These people are very nosy. This place was not fun. I tried to be nice and everybody was rude don’t come here.

Our table ordered burgers and 2 of the three came out as ordered. We all ordered medium rare and mine was smashed flat and actually burnt blacked, it was inedible. When I inquired with the male staff member he said that the burgers come as they are cooked depending on the chef and thats how it is. He in no way wanted to be bothered to talk with us or offer any help with the disgusting food. Honestly it was the worst burger I have eaten in my life and not sure how this place is regarded as having good food or service.

Perfect downtown location with great vibe. Menu, service, prices, atmosphere, booths; all of it is exactly what you would hope for in a college town. Unfortunately, the pizza crust was far too crispy for my liking, essentially burnt. The toppings were spot on, but the sauce was sparse at best. Hopefully the pizza is better next time.

5 stars all around. Pizza: phenomenal. Vibe: chill. Location: location location. We come here every 1st Wednesday for bike night and can't say enough good things. Bar around the back if you need to get tossed. Tossed pizza if you need to get full. Best 'za in Corvallis bar-none.

Nice atmosphere and vibes. The roof top sitting are is definitely a nice place to relax and have some food. When it comes to pizza, I'm not a fan of their pizza. Their dough is too much bread. It doesn't have that pizza parlor taste / texture but more like the pizza mom makes at home. Ordered a pizza margherita and it was a disappointment. The whole pizza was covered in thick slices of tomatoes. The fresh basil were small slivers which you weren't able to taste due to the amount of tomatoes on it. Would come for the vibes and not the food

Wife and I were in town exploring apartment options for my daughter. She is attending OSU grad program so trying to help her out. Drove in from Spokane while visiting there. I was craving a salad, pizza and a beer after the drive. Ordered the calzone (mushroom - sausage), build your own salad (broch, mushroom and red onion), a real margarita for my wife (not the BS slushy ones) and a pilsner for me. Found a fine table on the rooftop deck and enjoyed it all. Fun time, great food, awesome vibe. You wont be disappointed. Check it out!

Took almost two hours to get a pizza and got served this cold pizza when we did. Completely unacceptable. Would not recommend at all

Pizza is good, not my favorite crust but pretty good and they have some good variety. I like the atmosphere and the artwork. I ordered a medium pizza, it came oblong shaped. Half the slices were square and half were triangles. Seems like a minor thing but for myself and I'm sure others there's a heavy expectation that when you get a pizza it's going to be shaped like a circle and cut in to triangles. The shape of the pizza and the way its cut impacts how you eat it. Expectations broken, disappointed.

Pizza is personal. This is my family's favorite pizza place in Corvallis for a variety of reasons. We like the crust, toppings, beer selection, and that you can draw on paper plates and put them up in the wall. The pizza doesn't come out fast and sometimes parts are burnt, but I think this only adds to the experience.

A mixed bag. I have been coming here for 20 years, and will continue to come back again and again for their chicken salad (which is worth 5 stars), reasonable prices, and some of their baked goods. Most of the food is pretty average, though. The croissants are more like croissant-shaped bread than actual laminated pastry. And I wish they would up their to-go packaging game. It's still a shallow tray and cling wrap, and hope like hell it doesn't spill on the way to your car if you order a few different things. Great petit four today, though.

Me and my partner recently discovered this place and it is a very cute little spot to go eat and have some brunch or sweet treats! We both got the cheese bagels with the herb spread, which was fantastic. NOTE don’t get the jalapeño bagel it’s just the cheese one with ONE JALAPENO. All of there little sweets are amazing we will be going back to try more !

Very nice local bakery. Comfy atmosphere, children's area, restrooms for customers, good coffee. Four star on the food because the heated quiche crust was soggy rather than flaky. Lots of to-go sandwich choices and the pastries looked great.

I just get DoorDash from here, and honestly it’s amazing and warm, even fresh every time. Packaged perfectly and cleanly, just felt like I was getting room service.

A diner style bakery with plenty of seating right in the heart of Corvallis. Friendly staff and the place has WiFi. Great environment for remote work Their food is not the best. I had the mocha and bagel - they were alright. Hopefully they introduce more freshly baked delicious items in the future

Food was kinda meh and can't get it without cheese. There was only one barista which seems bad since every order had coffee. It's a fine place, just better options in the area that don't require dealing with the foot traffic in this spot. I can see why other people would enjoy it. Service/politeness from staff was excellent.

We are not from the area and needed a quick bite to eat. Wow we are so glad we went here! The sautéed chicken and curry beef sandwiches were delicious, their carrots are the best I’ve ever had. And the bread is out of this world. We come up every month or so to Corvallis and this will be a go-to spot.

The food is always wonderful but it’s the service and people I keep coming back for! Every interaction I’ve had with their staff has been nothing but kind, professional, and friendly. They make you feel so welcome and it enhances the taste of the food.

The food is delicious. The customer service is always great. The staff are always friendly with my toddler and the entire restaurant is extremely clean. I go here probably once a week :) Whenever the owners leave to visit many I basically count down the days until they open again. We love you Baguette!

Delicious sandwich shop in Corvallis. I can recommend the Beef Curry Baguette as it was excellent driving food for re-entering rush hour traffic. The folks who work here were super friendly and fast with my selection.

I’ve been going to Baguette for over 15 years, and the curry tofu banh mi is my favorite order. So flavorful, and the bread is perfect- crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. The staff/owners are so sweet, and the food is consistently delicious. My favorite spot!

Love this place. Been coming here for a few years now and love it:) I get their #6 chicken sandwich that has teriyaki marinaded chicken and I add jalapeños. It was $7.95 for the sandwich and probably a 10 min wait! Easy peasy! Delicious. The meat alone was moist and rich and they even picked their cucumbers and it was delicious.

Have never seen a cleaner restroom in Corvallis! I go there first to wash hands and wow. The food is spectacular, the employees are amazing too. The one and only place to eat in Corvallis 🙂‍↔️

I was looking forward to eat here because of the great reviews. So disappointed. Husband and I got veggie burritos. 1st the tortillas weren't even warmed. So the first bites were cold, then you got to the lettuce. I was over halfway through my burrito before I saw a bean or cheese. Gotta admit I'm a little bummed for a 12 dollar burrito!

My partner and I have had burritos from this spot probably twice a month for the last year or two. This is the BEST burrito spot in town. It's fast, it's delicious, and it's insanely affordable. Occasionally we will eat in and have a couple margaritas or beer. It's kind of dark inside but the restaurant is clean and the people are warm and friendly. I hope you never change! But, if you have to just up the price, and give us the same good food.

I have never had a bad experience here. The food is tasty and affordable. However, I've only ever had their excellent tacos. The salsa is good, but sometimes a bit too spicy. Somebody here said it was comparable to Riva's. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Riva's is the McDonald's of Mexican food. Seriously, they put lettuce on their enchiladas. There are so many Mexican places better than that, and Tacos El Machin is great.

The food was good but we picked up a huge order, drove 25 minutes home, and there was NO salsa! We ordered 30 tacos and no salsa came with them. I would assume that was automatic without asking for a to go order.

Food truck next to a bar. Works for me. Ordered a chicken burrito and it was huge! Lots of lettuce and tomatoes to go with the rice and beans. The sour cream did make it kind if messy. Burrito was good. Chipotle salsa was good. Green salsa was good and hot.

Nice quiet place for lunch, acceptable environment for something quick, and have a lot of option for drinks too. Specially for today, the price are not even expensive! Taco, burrito and drinks only $17. I believe I got the food within 5 mins, it’s so quick! And a lot of food and taste good! Damn! Beef are better than chicken here in my opinion. And I prefer taco here than burrito.

Tuesdays and Thursday’s offer the best taco/dollar ratio kindly ask for some pickled onions and green sauce and you got the best meal money can buy.

Had a nice lunch with a friend of mine. Food was good and our server was outstanding. I was looking for something lower on carbs and he made several great recommendations. I would stop in here for a low-carb meal again for sure.

Been here twice and I enjoyed it both times. I enjoy the forager burger and their sandwiches are elite (so crunchy)! The buns of the burgers could’ve been a bit more toasted but overall enjoyable. And the fry sauce is good! I’d pass on the root beer and blueberry lavender lemonade and stick to water or a refillable soda. Good place for brewed drinks for 21+ 8/10

I visited on 2nd October 2024. Friendly waitstaff, quick service, reasonable price. First time I'd ever had schnitzel *OR* German-style potato salad, and it absolutely rocked my world. Glad I ordered when I did, because the waiter informed me they were running out quickly. Overall, I think the meal cost $22 or just shy of that. Very reasonable for the portion and the quality I got. Also, the strawberry lemonade was delicious! I gotta ask, it felt a bit thicker than I expected but I was so busy enjoying it at the time -- was there some kind of coconut milk or something in it? No complaints, it was great; I'm genuinely curious if there was something different y'all did. Either way, 10/10, absolutely will see you guys next time I'm in the area!

Came back to Corvallis over 10yrs after graduating and we had to stop by Block15. Lot of fun nights here for drunchies. The food is still amazing. I had a glass of the rose and it was excellent. The burgers and rosemary fries were go to back in college. I changed it up and ordered their kimchi pork rice bowl. It was amazing. So glad I stopped by here while I was briefly back in town.

Excellent food, tap list and they are open on the late side for a non-chain food place in town. Really cool, laid-back joint downtown Corvallis. The bánh mì sliders are insane. Must try those. The forager burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had. The meat is clearly high-quality and had an awesome flavor. This places takes great care in the quality of their food. Service is awesome. Lots of outdoor seating and a big open space with ample seating inside as well. Tap list is heavy if hoppy stuff, as to be anticipated, but you can I find at least one of most styles on the menu. An excellent menu of spirits that can please any taste too. Food was fresh prepared with quality ingredients. Drinks were hand made with fresh fruit. I've tried the beer before and it's above average. Staff were friendly. Prices were fair. Family friendly. On street parking.. The Burgers are excellent, the fries are incredible, and I wish I had a bigger appetite to have gone after some of their appetizers.

Great location in downtown Corvallis for food and drink. Had dinner with my family and my daughter's boyfriend. Highly recommend on a nice warm day to sit outside which we did. The portions of food are definitely large...good for next day left overs.

My favorite brewery of all time! Hands down to "Sticky Hands". Awesome burgers, Fish&chips, fries, and many more!! Their bourbon month in February with seasonal menus (deep fried oysters) can't be missed.

The pastries are, of course, superb. But although this wonderful bakery has great reviews on atmosphere from years ago, it unfortunately suffers in this area today. Last time I was here was a year or so ago, and you couldn’t sit anywhere as all the tables and chairs were stacked up. Currently, there are tables for two’s around the perimeter of the room and the rest of the tables and chairs are stacked up in the middle. You would think they could find a better place for storage as it detracts from the atmosphere, and there is no accommodation for a party of four.

One of the best ham and cheese croissants I’ve ever had. Sadly couldn’t warm it there but we march on.

The pastries are SO good and we've gotten them to go many times. We finally got to try the crepes and other food on a Saturday morning. The aubergine dish is amazing!!! I would eat it every day. The crepes noisette and the mixed berry crepe were also excellent. The danishes are the best in town. They often sell out and close well before the posted closing time, so get there early and be prepared to wait patiently in line, it's well worth it.

French bakery items are always devine. Since covid, the atmosphere is a bit bleak. I wish there was a way to make ordering and paying more streamlined. This place is a treat, when I come to or through Corvallis, provided its on the right day and not too late as many items sell out quickly.

The best bakery in Corvallis! The bad thing about it is they only work 15 hrs a week:( other than that everything is great, their fruit tart is really good, puff and other bread too! They could be really filling so don’t order too much!

Totally delicious! I came on a weekday, when it was quiet, but I hear it can get bustling on a weekend. Got the chilaquiles verde. So, so fresh, and the poached eggs were perfect! I tried both green and red hot sauces, both were delicious. Great bottomless coffee, and they were on top of the refills. And friendly service to boot. I will 100% be back!

Small restaurant and not crowded at all, easily get a table for quick food. One of the good thing is the do fresh squeezed juice I like it! That’s what other restaurant generally don’t do. Give a credit for it. Drink are about average and the trips are okay too. Nothing wrong and nothing special about it. Already guys I got it done. It’s not that great. 😅

The food was okay. I had the breakfast here. The breakfast was just okay was Is expecting more flavor and freshness. The staff was very friendly and well The restaurant was clean and tidy. The coffee was good and mild but it was $4.25 a cup. Food prices was far and reasonable. Will give this place another try. Maybe will try lunch next time

My husband and I stopped in around 10am for breakfast. We both ordered the French toast platters. The sausages were excellent and the eggs were cooked perfectly medium (which is rare to get just right). Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was hit or miss. The French toast didn’t have much flavor, and the hash browns came out soggy instead of crispy. A few service issues stood out as well. We were brought syrup in hot containers before our food arrived, but by the time our plates came out the syrup had already cooled off. I also never received a straw for my water, my husband had to grab hot sauce from another table, and when I asked for a to-go box I wasn't aknowledged and when it was dropped on the table it was more thrown without a word. Overall, the place has potential especially with breakfast served all day and some items prepared really well but the attention to flavor, detail, and service could use improvement.

This small family run business is the best Mexican restaurant with regards to service and quality. The owners Lupe and Carlos are friendly, hardworking, generous community minded people who will treat you right. Interesting and unique dishes for any taste buds. The flan is to die for! A great place to host a party too. And they can hook you up with a fantastic mariachi band! Nicely decorated and a quiet space for a relaxed unch or elegant dinner.

Meal was $37 they charged us $10 for using a card and kept fighting us on the price. Then despite what the menu and the receipt said tried to charged us more for my burrito. The fee for using a card was 4% the math still doesn’t add up. 4% would be an extra $1.48 My bf just ended up just paying it since service was so slow it took us over 2 hours for the most mediocre breakfast and we were WELL beyond over being at this restaurant. Will not be returning. If you go do not pay card.

Great food, and the atmosphere and ambiance is pleasant as well. Definitely want to come back and try more things. The reason for the missing star is that despite an order of one breakfast burrito, it took nearly 30 minutes for the food to arrive which felt a bit long.

Decent sandwich place to grab after a hike. The pricing is a little odd with a 1/2 sandwich being only $2 less than a full. The online system is interesting because it does not list what comes inside the sandwich (ex-the Mediterranean sounded good but I had no clue what it entailed). Pretty busy place for a Sunday afternoon!

My husband and I visited for the first time today on our way to visit our son at school. I had a salad and my husband had the hot pastrami sandwich. Both of us could not say enough about how good our meals were. In addition, the service was kind and efficient. Thank you so much, we cannot wait to return.

So you can smell the smoker from down the street and the chef was working on pastrami and turkey breast. They also make fresh chips and pickle their own onions! 💣

The food is fresh, and usually fairly fast. I’m pretty sure they smoke their own meats, and they make their own chips!. It feels pricey sometimes but the quality is worth it. Last time, they had no turkey but happily substituted some more salami- which was also to die for. I can’t remember the guys name, but I enjoy coming in and seeing familiar faces and he’s incredibly nice. The atmosphere is also great. They sometimes have live music and it’s such a vibe. They also make their own desserts and sell local drinks like the McKenzie River steelhead root beer. We love coming here as a treat

Price is high, portions are small, and service is slow. Staff is lovely and the atmosphere is excellent. But, purely talking about the food, you can make better at home or honestly even Jimmy Johns or Jersey Mikes is better for less money and waiting. Really wanted to like this place since I heard so many positive things but I'm guessing those people have never been to delis in any major city before. It's not even close.

The placed smelled wonderful--fresh pulled pork and smokey goodness. After waiting in line, the hostess decided to go on break and I waited another 5 minutes before leaving. There was plenty of people there to make my sandwich, but no one wanted to take my order or take my money. Plenty of option in the downtown area... walk on.

Six dollar Lunch Special. Monday to Friday. I ate the Chicken Chop Suey with Fried Rice. Filling. Good taste. A salty after taste. This place has been here for some time. As we were sitting here more and more people arrived. I like it here.

The staff was super friendly. The dining area was roomy and clean. The food was tasty and arrived quickly. We had soups, which were delicious, egg flower and hot and sour. We also tried the tidbits appetizer plate, which was a nice sampling. Two nice size vegetable egg rolls, 4 fried shrimp, 4 ragoon, and some warm bbq pork. I personally prefer my Chinese Bbq Pork cold, but that is a preference thing. It had a good flavor. My meal was a lunch combo. Shrimp Lo Mein, Orange Chicken and Egg Fried Rice. My husband had Egg Fried Rice, General Tso's Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork. All these dishes were enjoyable. Sorry I didn't get pictures of that yummy soup and tidbits platter. We were hungry and they went quick, lol. Again, I would like to point out the service was excellent.

Came here with my girlfriend while staying at the Super 8 across the street. Lots of seating, and we were helped very quickly. The food was good, not overwhelming with a bunch of extra or unnecessary flavors. I would say some of the items I got were a little underseasoned such as the Fried Rice, but it was still really good. It wasn't busy when we came, and the price is pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get. Overall, a solid Chinese spot to take your family to

China delight is an amazing restaurant, iv had the opportunity to have the lemon chicken and i find myself chasing the same quality but always coming up unsatisfied. I can't wait to find myself in corvo so I can try other dishes. They take amazing care of their kitchen, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable Chinese food. The owner Jack is an incredibly cool guy and is always welcoming any time i see him, even after close.

Really bad food quality. Everything is flavorless, the chicken is soggy and not crispy, the soups are watery, and the rice is plain and unseasoned. Side note: nothing is spicy, at all. Really disappointing.

My wife had a 3-item combination plate, with Sweet & Sour Pork, Orange Chicken, Deep Fried Shrimp, fried rice and Egg Flower Soup; and a glass of tea. She said the Egg Flower Soup was great, but the sauce for the Sweet & Sour Pork had an odd taste and her glass of tea smelled kind of fishy. I got a 3-item combination plate, with General Tsao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Deep Fried Shrimp, Hot & Sour Soup and pan-fried noodles; and a TsingTao beer. I had never had a TsingTao beer before; and it was not over-powering and had a light mild taste that went well with the meal. The General Tsao Chicken, Orange Chicken and Deep Fried Shrimp were all fairly tasty, but the pan-fried noodles were limp and tasted oily, like they might have been cooked in a pan with too low of heat. The Hot & Sour Soup was really good, though. What we noticed when we first walked into the restaurant, other than we were the only customers in the restaurant, was an odd smell; which was possibly some type of cleaner, to comply with health and safety requirements for restaurants due to the unprecedented times we are in; and I would have given this a 3.5 star rating instead of a 4, but opted for 4 instead of 3 because of the location of the restaurant and the fact that many people considering eating here would appreciate that they have large portions and modest prices (see the pictures of the menu and specials). Plus, maybe this was not a good time of the day to go there. Maybe when they have other customers it would be better. It was mid to late afternoon when we were there. However, there were no other customers at this restaurant the entire time while we were there.

The staff were nice, so this is not a complaint based on service. But the food was disgraceful. This used to be one of my favorite hidden gems in Corvallis. But this time we ordered a lamb gyro plate and lamb gyro wrap and we were very disappointed with both items. So much so that if I hadn’t paid in cash, I would have submitted a stop payment with my credit card company. You see, there was no meat! Not a single chunk of lamb. There were tiny bits of shredded lamb, but so little that it was hard to see or taste the lamb at all. All I could taste were the French fries and tzatziki sauce. Gyros are supposed to be focused on the meat (or falafel) not the vegetable and sauce toppings. Without meat (or falafel) IT IS NOT A GYRO. I don’t eat out much these days because of how expensive everything has become. So when I do eat out, I have very high expectations. Here is a pic from two years ago and a pic from yesterday. There used to be meat. Now all you can see are French fries. It’s a true shame that the owners let this business fail. $30 down the tube.

This place has been a favorite of mine for a while. They season their meat and fries very well, the topping are always fresh, and tzatziki always comes with your order. The portion size on the fries has gone down a lot, you used to get more than enough for 2 people for $5, now the portion is much smaller. They recently increased their prices, but they're still good.

I don’t usually leave reviews of places, but this was pretty bad. The actual taste of the Gyros were fine though the interior of the place was questionable. The ‘highlight’ of this being my first visit was an actual wingnut in my Gyro! Had I not seen it this place may have been paying my dental bills. Not only unsanitary but genuinely dangerous had I bitten into metal expecting soft lamb. Yes that photo is real, I am shocked and disgusted. Will not be coming back here again! Also, a little less notable, the fries were terrible, soggy, cold, limp, and greasy.

Food is great after you spend 1 hour and 12 minutes waiting for 1 chicken (out of lamb?) gyro. Sauces arent avalible as much as they used to be. Place is a dump now, food is also covered in flies. Will give u the runs.

Delicious Greek food!! The best gyro I've had in a very long time! Genuinely such a great small business. I love showing friends from out of town here for lunch. The chicken, lamb and falafel gyros are life changing. The sauces are delicious. Heather is very nice and provides great service every time without fail. I can't wait to come back.

It's common wisdom that the harder a restaurant is to see, the better the food is. Such is the case at Alley Gyros. Tucked away in the eponymous alley, this feels easy to miss unless you're "in the know." Do yourself a favor and find yourself in the know. The gyros are deliciously spiced, with your choice of a myriad of toppings and sauce (please, the garlic pickles are a must-have), and large enough to sate appetites without weighing you down, as can be common in many gyro places. The fries were, as always, a perfect complement to the jubilee of flavors, and the Athens Plate added a yummy mix of additives to enjoy with either. Grab a drink, snag a seat if you feel so inclined, and enjoy some of the best Gyros I've had the pleasure of tasting!

I had an amazing experience here the other day, the employees are so nice and very helpful! They are quick and efficient and got my food out it in just a couple minutes. the lobby is very nice and clean and has a very nice aesthetic. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and I highly recommend!

Decent food and prices; quick lunch spot. I wouldn’t buy the Yumm sauce at a store, but it does make the entrees more interesting (they would be fairly boring without it).

Food was alright but the organic tofu skewer was kind of dry. There’s a decent amount of people who go here and I feel like there needs to be more than just one bathroom stall because someone tried breaking/opening the bathroom while I was using it. Or maybe have a sign or something that will let other people know that the bathroom is occupied.

Great food and great atmosphere. Food is a bit pricey but good portions. Located just across from OSU Campus, the parking can be a bit challenging.

I had a great experience at this Café Yumm location. The customer service was outstanding—very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the avocado salad, and it was fresh and absolutely delicious. I really enjoy coming to this spot and will definitely be back for more!

Great bar. The upstairs is really fun. Bartenders are great and efficient, and the bouncers do a great job ensuring a fun and safe atmosphere and maintaining a good vibe for everyone. They won't hesitate to escort anyone out who is being disruptive or a bad vibe, which is great and appreciated! Highly recommend.

A little specific, but if the owner is reading this, you REALLY need to dim the lights in the booths right next to the entrance. My first time in, and I heard at least 8 customers including myself complain about how extraordinarily too bright they were. And it even caused a conflict between one of the workers and a young girl who kept turning them off herself. (Even though she did politely ask everyone around first.) Aside from that, I'd change my 4 to a 5, maybe some real AC up stairs. (I didn't see the bathrooms.)

I had the California Burger. It was good. I am from out of town and stopped by for lunch. The staff was friendly and attentive.

The Peacock is a great spot for breakfast and nightlife. My husband and I love stopping in for breakfast and some pool when we visit. It's a deal and delicious! One of our favorite bartenders is Ashley she brings a hometown feel to the bar and she has great recs for around town. And if you are looking for a spot to karaoke at night, the peacock is the place for you. Good spot to check out day or night!

Upstairs is so fun but genuinely has a ventilation and air conditioning problem. Since 2021 (for me), it's always been swelteringly hot upstairs especially on Western Wednesday. I'm certain that the heat is partially due to the amount of people inside, but it was concerningly hot with meager flow of air. Management, if possible, please take this into consideration. Besides that, I've had only positive experiences at Peacock.

Really nice spot in downtown. Unfortunately the food was not as good as the price would have it seem. Also the avocado on my meal was such a small amount and was not fresh either. The iced coffee was really good however.

For breakfast and coffee. We had the lochs with capers bagel and the "wake me up" sandwich. Both were fantastic. The wake me up sandwich is one of the best I've had. Bread was perfect and the bacon had just the right amount of crisp and chew. Drip coffee hit the spot and you get a refill! Will definitely be back.

Fabulous bakery items with warm and welcoming people. We were visiting during this visit, but excited to make Corvallis our forever home.

We frequent this location fairly often when we arent in town. I was really happy to see all new AC piping this week and a clean roof above the kitchen- it was pretty off-putting. Food is good, coffee is good. The order-food collection-bussing setup doesnt have great flow and it often confusing, but not the end of the world. Seating can be limited.

I might not be the right audience for this spot (coming from Texas where flavors tend to be bold), but my breakfast here was a miss. I ordered the Tico Bowl and really struggled with it. It had way too much sour cream—I ended up scooping most of it off. The avocado portion was tiny, and the curried potatoes (which I was most excited about) were wet and lacked any real curry flavor. The mix of ingredients just didn’t come together, and the veggies were undercooked, so the texture was off. I couldn’t finish it. For a drink, I got a matcha latte. I wasn’t told it was unsweetened, which normally I don’t mind, but this one tasted overwhelmingly like grass. The barista was super kind and remade it with vanilla syrup (shoutout to her for being so sweet about it!), but it still just tasted grassy with a hint of vanilla. That said, I might give this place another shot—the coffee is very reasonably priced, and the pastries looked amazing. But for me, the Tico Bowl and matcha were a hard pass.

New to the area and the online menu looked good, so I gave it a shot. As soon as I rounded the corner, instant hipster vibe, & not in a cool way. Door was blocked by kids smoking weed. Walked in to insanely loud machinery. It wasn't clear where to order, no menus obvious, & nobody to greet or direct. While waiting in line I watched confused people checking every item placed on the counter because you couldn't hear. My turn! I asked if they still had horchata (saw it on the website). The lady said no & suggested chai because "they're basically the same" (uhhhh, no). Np, I'll get a dirty chai. She kept trying to sell me their Dirty Hippie, which is a chai latte with vanilla & caramel. Sounded too sweet, so I stuck with the dirty chai with 2 shots & the Counter Choice sandwich. The drink came out & I had to wade through all the confused people (while using a cane). Made it back to my table & took a drink of what was most definitely a plain, very sweet chai latte, zero espresso. I went back & nicely told her I might have been given the wrong drink. She got annoyed & said she'd add a shot (without asking me what was wrong??). I watched her tell the barista, both roll their eyes, & pull my shot super quick. The barista gave me a stare-down handing the drink & I thanked her. I got back to the table & yep, the rapid pull made it sour. Gross, but at least I got coffee. The sandwich took quite a while & the 2 same ladies did a feint before handing it to me, then laughed. How fun! It was amazing & I ate ALL of it. In summary, food was great, coffee sucks, and the employees seem annoyed by your mere existence. Ok, busted, I'm really NOT cool enough to be in here. No worries, it won't happen again.

The middle of my taquitos were cold, the taco salad was super watery, the chips and salsa had no salsa but rather dry Pico de gallo, and the tamales were too salty and smothered in the sauce. The horchata was good. Service was fast and the staff was nice.

I was driving Uber. I picked up a customer at the portland airport and brought him all the way to corvallis. After dropping off the customer, I had to drive all around town looking for an open gas station. Pretty much everything in this town is closed at  3 a m. Except Chevron gas station and Rivas taco shop. Open twenty-four hours are some of my favorite words in the english language. So after filling my tank, I stopped by at Rivas for 2 adobada tacos. I've eaten here before. Many years ago. But I could not remember how the food tasted. But it didn't matter. Rivas is the only game in town at 3:30 AM. My tacos looked and smelled good. I asked or red salsa and got green salsa. But that's okay. The first bite I took had no salsa at all. I wanted to test the flavor before I put salsa on. Honestly, it smelled and looked better than it tasted. Not to say that it tasted bad, but it didn't taste as good as I expected. On a scale from 1 to 10, I would give Rivas a 4. Just one point better than Chipotle. The pork was only mildly seasoned. And the texture was nice and soft. I did see guacamole on my taco, but I did not really taste it. Same with the Pico de gallo. The green salsa was ok. It was raining heavily this monday morning, and I did not want to sit there at the drive-through with my window open. I only glanced at the taco prices, which I thought were three dollars per taco. I ordered 2 tacos and a medium Coke for $12. So I'm guessing that $3 was $5. I can only speak on the adobada tacos. They aren't worth it.

It's pretty good. Filling and well made. Not sloppy like fast food. About 10 bucks for a large burrito 🌯. Football ⚽️ on the TV kinda loud bury they have outdoor seating too.

I dunno this is mostly for The Loco Burrito and their verde sauce which is all I ever order but holy moly you try it and then see if you bother trying something else. Why mess with perfection?

Really is just a small quaint place with a drive-thru that is open at all hours of the night. Food is what is expected of it. Service was quick and ordering was easy. There is some parking in the morning but at weekend nights parking is limited. Costs more than hamburger fast food joint.. Costs are similar to dine-in Mexican restaurants which is okay because portions are large and food is delicious. The service is diligent, communication is clearland concise. Although, I consistently feel like the customer service isn't warm nor personal (lacks human touch, friendliness,) when interacting with me. No welcome phrase or greeting used but efficient.

I went here because I was craving simple chips and guacamole. How can you go wrong with chips and guac, I thought. Even if it had been store-bought quality guacamole I would have been happy. I was shocked to find that guacamole can be made into an absolute abomination. First of all, the menu item was called chips and guacamole and cheese, so I asked for no cheese. The item came out almost nacho style, with warm chips and a spicy green sauce poured all over the chips. There was no dipping. The sauce vaguely resembled guacamole, but it was a warm, runny, homogeneous sauce. Someone might have enjoyed this, but it should not be called chips and guacamole (and cheese).

food here is good it's inexpensive and fast service. The only downside that I came across and this is for most restaurants that sell tacos they need to put the corn tortilla on the grill a little bit of oil even for a minute to add a little bit of char. But otherwise I'll keep going food's good

Stumbled upon this place and it was exactly what we were looking for! Outside seating, great for nice weather, live music and tons of food and drink to pick from. Bummed they didn’t have non alcoholic beer but they did have some of the best kombucha I’ve had and the good was good - nothing huge but exactly what we wanted-quick nice atmosphere and good drinks.

Great for when you can't agree on what to eat. Portions were huge. Everything was delicious. Dog-friendly and the partitions between tables is a nice touch.

This is a really nice little spot with a variety of food selections for the family to enjoy... Mediterranean, German, Spanish, Poke bowls, etc. We really enjoy this place & you are able to reserve a spot for small gatherings like a birthday... there was 2 birthdays celebrations happening when we were there.

They let us reserve the space as you first walk in for a baby shower. We had 40 people and it was such a great space for it. We got three of the platters and it fed everyone and we had extra. The biggest issue was they didn't have any replacement for the protein on one of the platters and the mama couldn't eat pork so we only had the vegi platters when we would have liked more variety. The food trucks were good and they had lots of options of drinks.

This was our very first meal in Corvallis and quickly became our favorite place to grab a beer and take the doggie! I’m a sucker for fresh food and their coconut hummus had to be my fave. Plus idk if it tickles just me but a falafel waffle is just hilarious to say. Extra points for being a very very good falafel! The staff is great, it was always clean and they keep it happening. I appreciate the newsletter weekly to see what’s going on! This place knows how to do it right!

Love the outdoor heated benches, decor, and variety of seating arrangements. Delighted to see some new food trucks. I tried the German food truck. Delicious schnitzel red cabbage and salad plate. I've seen better pretzels, but it was still tasty. Black Forest Kitchen.

If you just can't agree on where to go to eat together, Common Fields is a great option. We have eaten at other larger food truck courts, but despite the somewhat limited options, it is clear a thoughtful selection process was used to bring the best of Corvallis to Common Fields. The service was friendly, and prompt. The food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The plastic chairs we sat in could use an upgrade, but we really enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere and wish we could have stuck around for the live music. We will definitely be back!

The place seems great and I love the foods they have but my service has never been the best in the evenings. This one employe doesn't greet me or ask me what I'd like. Talk about customer service this Abby girl needs to learn how to be a good customer service and treat the paying customers more nice and friendly. It's many of the reasons I don't want to keep coming back or tip! Anyway besides the service, the food is great and I'd recommend trying the place out. After going back to Beaver Hut Dam my experience has gotten worse to the point where they would burn my food. I'm truly upset with my experience with the place I went there for the first time happy and excited to try something new and from the first start my service with them was bad at least with this girl because she's who I see every time I go there and she gives me the worst attitude. I'm never going back.

I come here about once per week. Been low on $ and their burger is an awesome deal to eat delicious hot food. The rest of the menu is a little pricey but I think it's fair for how cheap the burgers are. I spend about $15 for my partner and I to get a meal and drinks. The Mac n cheese balls were delicious. $8 for 3 of them was worth it to try, but I won't be getting them again for that price 😅

We will never eat there again. The man working the counter with a goatee and wore glasses was a very rude. When my grandson attached his erase board he snapped at him and told him do not touch that board. I very politely said can you please use the word please we're trying to teach the children manners. He told me well he wasn't raised that way. And I said politely maybe you were not raised that way but these children are trying to learn mannerisms in a proper way so saying please and thank you should be initiated he kind of gave me irritated looks and then went behind the counter to the cooking area. We proceeded to order our food and then went outside to eat. When the man brought our food out the sweet potato fries were completely burnt and taste it awful because they were so burnt. I'm pretty sure that he done this on purpose because he was angry because I confronted him. Before the food was cooked I went back inside the building left my grandchildren outside with their dad and Grandpa. I went back inside myself to speak with a man but of course he was cooking so I spoke with the lady who was there as well and try to explain to her that my grandchildren just came from a very toxic environment and my son was raising his children for their first time as a single father. The children came from a very toxic environment and had no structure no mannerisms and it can go on further than that but I will just leave it with those things there. I felt like we were mistreated that was just not right. It was a very long day and the children were hungry otherwise we probably would have just left and I would have told my grandkids that we are leaving because we do not need to be spoken that way . We spent around $65 and this establishment and the food was awful the mannerism of the man / cook was awful. I would not recommend this place at all we were here for the very first time ever and was looking for a nice good burger in a friendly environment and we got met with hostility rudeness and burnt food.

Most friendly staff, warm welcoming atmosphere, keeps me coming back weekly if not daily. As someone who’s a picky eater, this place has never disappointed. I seriously considered going back and tipping them more because of how good it was, I opted for this review instead of a trip back, much love for this place, they keep Corvallis groovy.

Horrible service for sub par food. Brought me out a squished cheeseburger and a biscuit and gravy with no silver ware. When I went back in for a fork and a glass of water I was informed it was 50 cents extra so I got out my card to pay. That’s when I was told it had to be at least two dollars to run the card. The grouchy old dude then put the water cup back and walked away without even asking if I wanted something else to drink. Never going back and I recommend you don’t either

I like to have lunch here once a week, $2 a single burger + $0.75 for additional cheese. It is in very good location, across OSU chemistry building. The staff are nice but only option to eat there is outside. I’m back again see you next week!

Portions were very decent sized and the food was great. I’ve never had corned beef hash in chunks so that was the only thing that felt slightly off. Everything else was great. The grandmama’s jam is a must try! Our server was really nice and ensured we got our food in time cos we had to leave early. I’ll definitely stop by again if I’m ever in town

Great place for breakfast! We stopped here one hour/60 miles into our trek from Newport to Bend. Omelettes were quite large. Biscuits were warm. Coffee was just fine. Popular place but we did not have to wait long. Our meals were delivered pretty quickly too. Parking is on the street. Good find!

I ordered a to-go order and Susanne offered a seat while I waited and we had a lovely conversation. Everyone was very kind and made sure I got everything I wanted for my to-go order and made sure I was comfortable while waiting; for example, by asking if I wanted any water while waiting. Overall, great service and amazing food. Not to mention the food was ready very quickly.

A great place to sit, eat and have a long conversation with friends. Menu choices are great and the food is well made and served with care. A great breakfast place; so good I went there two days in a row!

The food is really good but the service for take out sucks! I ordered twice and both times was missing food. The first time I called back and had to leave a message but no one returned my Call. The second time the lady said it happens all the time and to just come back in and ask for the missing item. I asked for a refund because I use a wheelchair and didn’t want to send my caregiver back. She acted confused. It really sucks but if there is a next time then myself or my Caregiver needs to check the bag before leaving.

One of the most bizarre takeout experiences I’ve ever had. Walked into a restaurant with only one table of diners. The place had a very unpleasant dirty smell. There was nobody behind the counter except for a 6-7 year old boy playing with a hot wheel on the counter. I shortly discovered he was barefoot. In typical fashion, one of the tables had been converted into an office, and a woman was sitting there balancing the books with her children nearby. There was absolutely no acknowledgment given when I walked in. I never saw them acknowledge the person waiting in front of me. A man, the husband, came out and eventually closed out the one table of diners (they spoke the same language) and then proceeded to start bussing tables. I was still standing there unacknowledged. It was easily 6 minutes before anyone even made eye contact with me. In the meantime, door dashers are coming in, equally unacknowledged. Finally he turns to me, asks me my name, and says it’s being made. Also, the boy running around barefoot starts throwing a fit in the dining room, screaming and knocking things over, playing and slamming the front door. Eventually, the woman goes into the back with her baby, and another 5 minutes later, comes out with about 5 orders. Clearly they didn’t all come out at the same time. In all, despite my 20 minutes estimate, I ended up waiting 40 minutes. In an otherwise empty restaurant. Clearly DoorDash props this place up, and they treat them with disdain. The real kicker was when the barefoot child climbed onto the counter top, the one they were about to put the food on, and stood on it. No real urgent attempt was made to remove him. He was walking into and out of the kitchen barefoot as well. It instilled a sense of fear into me as I brought my food back to my hotel. I considered just walking into the kitchen to inspect for myself, since it seems like I was invisible anyway. The food, I will say, tasted fairly good. But it wasn’t worth worrying about the cleanliness of the place. My stomach may be sensitive, and it certainly didn’t sit well with me, but I can’t really say that’s a result of cleanliness or hygiene. I sympathize with it being very much a family restaurant, but there is absolutely no respect given to their patrons (unless, perhaps, you speak their language).

It’s a cozy place with homely vibes. Veg Biryani with side was very flavorful and could be customized to less heat for the kids. Spicy coconut tofu entree and Mixed Veg Karahi were the best with soft rotis. Aloo paratha was a huge hit amongst all. Mango chutney and raita were yummy! Tofu mutter was great too. Mango lassi and salted lassi were refreshing ! I loved the madras filter coffee! The manager was very sweet and customized order to what we wanted for kids and adults.

I'm not sure if it tastes traditional but i can say it's really really good. I always like this place. The chicken is marinated and seared so perfectly NOT DRY

I absolutely LOVE this place! The food is amazing and the staff fast and helpful! I can’t get enough of their Chicken Makhani , Nan & white veggie 🥕 🥦 yogurt. I highly recommend this place-the best Indian food in Oregon by far!

Beautiful family and staff working hard to make your dining experience beautiful ❤️❤️❤️. We ordered lamb and shrimp biryani from medium to spicy. Also chicken and fish Tikka masala. About 18-20$ for each entree. Also had veggie samosas @ $6.95, onion and eggplant pakora. All delicious. Mango 🥭🥭 lassi about $5 and good cup of chai tea. Garlic naan ( 3 orders) is also good with delicious Tikka masala curry. About $139 for the dinner that fed 1 adult and five grandkids. Scrumptious and full to the max. Would go again. Plus they were very busy but still had time to graciously take care of us.

The food is so good here but the wait time are almost always so long that we don't go as often as we would like. It's impossible to pop in for a quick lunch. Even when you're the only table in the restaurant it's a bewilderingly long wait at every step of the process. Ordering takeout often takes much longer than promised, too. But if you have time, man is it tasty. The samosas alone are worth it.

Passing through town and didn't want fast food. Reviews were decent. The outside appearance of the restaurant needs help. Inside decor and ambiance needs help. The food was good (had some lamb vindaloo) and presentation was basic. My meal had good and tender cuts of meat. Service was performed by the matron and was good. I was a bit surprised that the meal didn't cone with any Naan so I ordered some. It was a large serving; too big for one person. No complaints to speak of. Some music, decor, asthetics and presentation would help immensely.

It's counter service, but the orders are delivered to each table. The healthy menu choices please meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. The burritos are the best deal. They have beer, wine, and tasty smoothies. The vegan cookies are delicious.

Really liked this place. Great selection of options both Vegetarian and standard. My vegan kid was super happy with their food, and I was pretty happy with my burrito too. Would definitely go back. Cookies were good, and drink selection was great.

Don’t go when they’re understaffed and/or busy if you have food allergies or make substitutions. I ordered a gluten free chicken burrito with black beans (instead of pinto) & guac instead of cheese. I clarified that it was all GF/DF. First they gave me someone else’s GF/vegan burrito. Then they remade the chicken burrito but it had cheese. The next one was GF/chicken/DF and that’s as good as I was going to get (it has pinto beans & no guac, but at least I wasn’t going to get sick eating it). I thought it was awesome that I could get a GF burrito and had done so a few times but their lack of attention to detail making my food tonight will have me rethinking if it’s worth it.

A funky little restaurant with delicious food that you feel good eating. As someone with a sensitive stomach, their options sit well with me, which is saying a lot! 10/10, love this place.

Yummy!! I love coming to corvallis because I can come get a healthy vegan meal! My girlfriend and I love this restaurant. Nice and friendly staff, accommodating, delicious healthy meals with lots to choose from.

Just okay. Fries were undercooked, nothing that was really had the “wow” factor worth a $100 bill. Service was pretty slow but they seem understaffed, and drinks were just okay. I do wish they had more hearty dishes, mostly finger foods and the plates were pretty small. Would have been more enjoyable just to stay home and cook.

Beyond rude service. Honestly I’m appalled that I tipped because of how rude our server was to us right from the get go. This to the female server with glasses. The other man who works there is genuinely a good server but the female server from the get go treated my two other friends and I like we were dirt. Before we had even sat down demanded for our ID’s in which we explained we were just looking for dinner and mocktails. When inquiring about the mocktails and trying to ask for advice of which ones are recommended, she immediately acted like the questions were a nuisance. In fact, wouldn’t let us finish asking our question before she spoke over us. Which is disappointing because we were trying to check in which ones are the most convenient for the staff to make. Didn’t check in on how our food was and overall was just beyond passive aggressive. Again this is not going to the male server who has been a gentleman to me and my friends but the other server should truly get talked to on how to treat costumers in the food service industry. Again this is coming from a server herself and I am genuinely upset that she even works there while treating costumers like this.

I have been to Magenta four or five times and every time I want to give it another chance, it disappoints. The absentee ownership really shows here: the owner lives out of state and believes that respect doesn't need to be earned. They are mistaken, which is why their staff are unenthusiastic about virtually every part of the experience. Funny enough, the owner JUST posted this (see screenshot), which perfectly mirrors my experience as a customer and encouraged me to write this review. Corvallis has many good restaurants. Magenta has never been one of them.

The rating never lies. Just so you know the meat is great but anything else, is not good. You know if you gonna give some vegetables, plz at least give some fresh vegetables, they are not expensive you get it in winco! Service are nice but we don’t get napkin until we asked. Server are nice tho! Place are small just so you know. Overall, drink options are great, meat is great, atmosphere is great.

After years in the Corvallis area, finally took the opportunity to dine at Magenta and they didn't dissapoint. The rice crepe is a staple for them and it was good. The filling was fresh veggies with a delicious savory sauce inside. The crepe was a little dry and the sauce on top seemed a bit too much like mainstream ranch. The stake was a much better choice. Cooked really nicely, juicy, tender and a delicious sauce to boot. The bun appetizer was quite yummy as well. The orange mousse was good, but had a bit too strong an orange extract flavor as opposed to a fresh hint of orange I prefer. All in all a great meal with warm, friendly, attentive service at a reasonable price.

Won't be back. The food was cold likely due to the too casual bartender/reluctant server who was too busy talking to his friend at the bar. The 8 customers present on Sunday morning weren't a priority. I mean pay attention a little bit. Pretend to care a little bit. My fried were soggy and greasy.

Stopped in for a light dinner, turned out to be a great find. Very tasty food, great drinks, and really nice atmosphere. Our server Claire was attentive and friendly without overdoing anything. Will try it again if we get back to Corvallis.

Came here one night for dinner with a few friends. There is a short line-up. You can leave your name and number, and they will call you when your table is ready. Restaurant is a decent size, has plenty of seating. But service is a bit slow to take order, get the bill, etc. Food was also a bit slow to be served after ordering. My friends ordered some sushi rolls. I ordered a nabeyaki udon, which the udon was a little bit overcooked. I let it pass as it might just be a busy night. Otherwise, food seemed to be alright. 6/10 would come back to try other food items, but I'd do so during non-peak hours.

Food was great! Service was bad. Never saw our server again until we were trying to leave. I also never received my appetizer order and it was dead slow. Really disappointing, not sure I’ll be back.

The sushi was incredible! My Mom also said one of the best Bento boxes she has had. We stumbled upon this great find, as our regular place was closed. Think we just found our new favorite 🍣 joint. Oh, & Sapporo on tap🍻

Delicious! Fast service and cute atmosphere. The menu has a wide array of creative sushi rolls, and lots of other options for those who don't want sushi. Overall a really enjoyable experience!

Fine food! The best meal I have had in Oregon!! Worth the trip to sit down and enjoy Korean Barbecue served with care and detail to both American and traditional Korean customers.

I often eat here. The food is perfect each and every time. This is high end quality from food to the presentation. The wait staff is great and intuitive. I have never experienced any negative thoughts during any of my visits in 2 years. I take guests with me to show off a bit ...Like I have a hook up 😊. Dine in and feel the vibe! The day that I moved to Corvallis, my parents and I sat at a different Japanese restaurant in downtown since there weren't many options around, only to leave a few minutes later due to the poor service and restaurant quality. We then stumbled upon Aomatsu and ultimately liked the experience. I have since gone back a handful of times and enjoyed their food and service. Thanks for always providing me with a great time!

The food is absolutely amazing! Two of us had the teriyaki chicken bowl, one bulgogi bowl and a chicken katsu bowl. The portions are good.

First time eating here and it most certainly won’t be the last! Very authentic Korean cuisine. I had the Octopus Dolsot Bibimbap. Great flavors and not too much heat. Large portions size, will be having the rest later! Attentive waiter with a positive attitude. Stop in! You won’t be disappointed.

Pretty good, and a nice portion size—it will fill you up. I'd totally get a couple of menu items and share them with others so you can try different things. Tried green tea Gelato flavor, meh.

Stopped by for lunch with a friend. She had the Curry Chicken lunch special, and I had the Beef Bolgogi Yakisoba lunch special. Both were tasty and presented nicely. Neither was as spicy as I was expecting, although they were generous portions. No coffee, but several types of tea available. Service was quick and friendly, and prices decent.

This is my second time here. This time, I ordered beef bulgogi. It was very delicious. Quite comfortable dining space. Friendly service.

Came during the dinner rush so it was quite busy. The hamachi collar was quite a large portion. We also ordered the dinner bento of salmon teriyaki, California rolls, and nigiri which was pretty good. They also have teppanyaki available by reservation.

Koriander restaurant was delicious! Food was flavorful without being over-seasoned. We ate the fried tofu to start, and then the beef bulgogi and the cheese- stuffed pork. The portions were plentiful and the prices were comparable to other places. We will eat here again! We left feeling very satisfied.

Let me start with this: Sada has the best sushi in Corvallis. Hands down. If you’re looking for silky slices of salmon, inventive rolls, or a satisfying agadashi tofu, this is the place. The fish is fresh, the presentation is solid, and on a good night, the whole experience is flawless. Unfortunately, that “good night” is a bit of a gamble. We eat here all the time—because we are addicts. Probably 80% of the time, the service is fantastic. The staff are warm, fast, and genuinely welcoming. You feel like a regular, even if it’s your second visit. But the other 20%? Buckle up. The worst night? New Year’s Eve. We arrived hopeful and hungry, only to discover that our server and the hostess were clearly auditioning for a Seth Rogen film. I’m not saying they were high, but if you’ve ever tried to order tempura from a guy who’s staring past you into another dimension, you get the idea. After an hour of waiting, someone finally realized our order had never been sent in. Another server, clearly sober and competent, took over. Crisis averted—or so we thought. We tried to order a few more things, but then our original server drifted back in from wherever he’d been (space? a broom closet?) and confidently re-took our order, which of course vanished into the void. When we asked about it later, we were told the kitchen was closed and we’d missed last call. A beautiful fusion of confusion and disappointment. We swore we’d never return. But… the sushi. So a few months later, we caved. We decided to forgive, forget, and roll the dice. And wouldn’t you know it—we got seated in that guy’s section again. To their credit, he seemed more earthbound this time. Maybe even employed. We ate our sushi. It was fantastic. We returned to the 80% timeline. So yes, I recommend Sada—but like you’d recommend a great camping spot that might have bears. It’s mostly amazing, but every once in a while, you might find yourself stranded in a service black hole wondering if your spicy tuna roll ever existed.

The food was tasty—the shrimp tempura was crispy, and the udon hotpot was warm and comforting, though it could have used a bit more chicken. Prices were on the higher side, and the portions felt a bit small for what they charge. Service was decent, and the atmosphere was unique, featuring traditional Japanese seating and large, eye-catching fish tank.

The sushi here is the best quality we've found in Oregon. Sada's attention to quality are apparent in every bite... if I ever get to request a last meal, this will be it... <3

Had late Lunch there with my family of 4. The place is really nice. Spacious and well decorated. The staff were courteous and helpful. They had bento boxes and Sushi which we ordered the Sushi Deluxe plate and chicken and Salmon Bento box and for appetizers.

I ordered the chicken and rice bowl, it was alright. Good portion size but the prices on the sushi is awfully high for the atmosphere. While the sushi is indeed very good, the interior is dated. We were seated at a table that wobbled, right next to an old AC unit with a dirty rag shoved into it. It's also quite cramped, with some tables obviously being more spacious than others but the walkways seem too narrow. The fish tanks are neat, but they are a novelty. I'd recommend the conveyor belt sushi restaurant on Monroe if you want sushi. If you get a nice table and you are willing to spend some money, I'm sure Sadas can do the trick.

Very nice staff, easy to order/no hassle or confusion with quite a wide variety of different things to choose from so nobody is hungry :). Really cute fish in the tanks btw

Can’t say enough good things about this place! The whole atmosphere is cozy and fun! Two aquariums with beautiful fish, bamboo privacy screens. The food is ABSOLUTELY delicious and I’m astonished by how well priced it is. The California roll came with real crab, no imitation, the rice was high quality and cooked perfectly. I also ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and let me say, that pork was INCREDIBLE! Everything about the ramen was great except for the boiled egg, I wish it was marinated or had more flavor to it, but that was a minor issue. Our food came quickly and the staff was kind and efficient. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town!

Came here to celebrate my sisters birthday, mom loved her salmon and I had the vegetable bowl. My potato’s could have been crispier but mom loved with rice that came with the salmon. They forgot the fresh strawberries on my dessert.

Started our evening with a set of amazing and unique cocktails. Our server was very helpful in describing the details of the dishes to help us choose. The shrimp with grits was wonderful textures and spices - highly recommend it. The pork chops must've been great since my partner ate all of it before I could try it :) We're grateful to have found this place.

Excellent food with enough variety for different food tastes. Brussel sprouts with plenty of pork belly pieces were nice and charred. Garlic burnt fries were tasty also. Had the filet mignon which was done perfectly with blue cheese (extra cost) on top. Pork chops and gumbo were good. For desert we had the the whiskey and cookie combo. Whiskey was ok but the cookies were sweet.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) – Good, but not great. The beef tartare was a knockout — I’d happily go back just for that. The gumbo and risotto under the scallops? Mushy, bland, and basically pablum that had lost its way. Cocktails were sugary enough to induce a toothache, and the bartender was a human megaphone, filling the room with nonstop chatter that made talking at our table impossible. Castor has potential, but it needs more texture on the plate — and less volume behind the bar.

Everything about this place was a 10/10: the service, atmosphere, food, and drinks! Everything was super fresh and absolutely delicious. The house made ketchup deserves a special shoutout, it’s incredible! The bartender was fantastic! Not only did he make excellent drinks, but he was also super personable and friendly. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Last night’s dining experience at Castor was nothing short of excellent. The service was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely fun, setting the perfect tone for the evening. From starters to dessert, every dish was flavorful, satisfying, and beautifully prepared. I’ve dined at Castor many times and can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience. The consistency in quality and hospitality keeps me coming back. Right on to a wonderful dining experience in Corvallis!

I enjoyed a friend’s lovely long birthday celebration meal at Castor last evening and the food, wine, cocktails, special dessert…everything was perfect. This team has a heart for hospitality and took great care of us. There is a lot to be said for management investing in staff with experience, and you can see, taste and feel that at Castor these days. Besides these special occasions meals, I’ll just pop in for a casual lunch, or a happy hour drink and snack at the bar and enjoy the same level of hospitality. It’s one of those “third spaces” we all need in our lives. Get out and spend time with your people and don’t worry about cleaning up your house. And oh my that cornbread tres leches cake was divine!

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I also like to know where I should spend my money. The corned beef hash here was mediocre at best. The meat was dry and there wasn’t a lot of it. The potatoes were pretty flavorless and had the texture of mashed potatoes before mashing them. The sourdough toast pieces were tiny and the orange slice was the end of the orange, not even edible. The over medium eggs were actually pretty good. The coffee was ok, but tasted cheap. The servers weren’t rude, but also not very friendly, hardly any smiles. Kind of had that small diner atmosphere, but it’s dark, not very lively, and not at all inviting from the outside. For a small cafe like this I was really hoping to have friendly service and good food for a decent price. Struck out on all of that. Spent over $18 with tip for 1 person. Not sure if it was just an off day or things are going down hill here, but I won’t be back.

It's your classic diner. I wouldn't say that it is novel by any means, but they certainly have a nostalgic diner feel. The food is good as long as you stick to classic dishes. I would recommend for a Saturday brunch, though I'll warn you it will be packed with people.

Great little place to get some food. If they were closer to downtown, I am sure there would be more post about this place. This dinner cafe is a true classic serving up all the needed food breakfast or lunch. If you're a student, their prices are not too bad and the food is classic. If you're trying to find a place to take a friend or family and everyone down town is slammed or busy. This little gem is the place to go. Anyway, good luck, my fellow Google travelers. Veggie skillet had no flavor and the veggies were slimy and tasted like dirty water. I couldn't even eat it. And when the waitress asked how's the food, I said umm not good. And she said oh great that it's good. That's what you heard? Cuz that's NOT what I said. Expensive for such poor food. Definitely won't be returning to this establishment ever.

This was my first time coming here and boy I’m glad I did. Got seated immediately and had our drink order taken. We got four hot chocolates and they were hot and yummy and even gave us more whipped cream when we asked! We all ordered the Big Biscuit Breakfast with homestyle fries and WOW! The portion was HUUUGE for the price, could definitely feed two. The homestyle fries were so crisp and hot. The gravy was delectable, same with the sausage and biscuits. The staff were friendly and filled up my water often which i appreciated. They made jokes and made us feel right at home! Would definitely recommend for a nice hearty breakfast.

Locals recommended, said it was spendy but quite good. I will agree. I had the chicken fried steak with 2 basted eggs, hash browns, 1 slice of toast and coffee. Total was $17.75 plus tip. The cf steak was unusual, not really a batter on it. Filling, none the less. Wait staff is friendly, and is a younger staff. Did good on coffee refills. Evidently, Oregon doesn't charge tax on anything. It is in a strip mall, easy access in and out. Bathrooms are super clean as well!

I really cannot recommend this place more. Super friendly and great service. Family owned and operated and you can feel it and taste it. Keep coming back for the pancakes they are so fluffy and a little sweet. Best pancakes I’ve ever had. The bacon is so crisp and cooked perfectly. Even though I’m not a regular yet, this place feels like home. Lisa is a delight to have and really makes this place remarkable.

This is a great find in Corvallis for Thai food. We had Shu Shee Curry, Panang Curry and Phad See Ew. Everything was delicious. The people here are very nice and friendly. Food tastes fresh, delicious and authentic. Service was very quick too. We'd definitely come back again when we pass by this town.

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this food was!! I'm soooo impressed!! The chicken soup with coconut milk was delicious!! I could eat it everyday!! And the chicken and noodles were so yummy as well. Thank you soooo much!!

Amazing food, great service, generous portions, and a wide selection for any including dietary restrictions! The space is maybe imperfect, and parking isn't the easiest. Nevertheless, a 5-star restaurant for sure. I recommend the avocado curry and will be returning for more.

Definitely the best Thai restaurant in Corvallis. I wasn’t expected they would be good but actually turn out pretty good. Just so you know the water is $1 per bottle and they don’t have free water for you. Pineapple fired rice are really good but like why they don’t give a lot of rice tho? LOLOL. And Thai BBQ chicken are so good too!

First time dining out in a couple months, and we picked the right place to get back into the groove. Best Thai food in Corvallis, for sure. I have only been a few times, but it is terrific food, served fresh by very friendly staff. Paht Thai was delicious, with perfect noodles. My favorite was the crispy duck with the Thai basil, so good. And they take cards now to handle all the takeout orders! If you like Thai or just darn good food with fresh ingredients, definitely check it out.

Food was good especially the Siam duck which everyone liked. Pad that noodles were crispy and tasty. Service was ok. Forgot to bring our Satay appetizer before our main dishes until we asked for it.

My favorite here is the siam noodles with tofu. The chicken wings and the honey duck are so delicious. Food comes out quickly and the staff are very kind. Easily one of my favorite spots in Corvallis.

I got married yesterday sept 27th 2025 and my Husband and I chose market of choice to make our wedding cake and they did not disappoint!! Everything was beautifully done and better than I imagined and all my guests loved it as well! Thank you so much to the bakers and decorators !! I wish I could add pictures but I’m not getting an option to.

We have become Supper Club regulars and while I find that the food is cooked perfectly, the entrees can be bland. Tonight I had the Sicilian pesto with chicken and the chicken came out perfectly cooked but the pesto was really flavorless as it was the last time I ordered it. My wife had the salmon which she said was also perfectly cooked but the rice needed salt because it was bland. The bbq ribs and baked beans where execellent as was the spicy mac and cheese. Hit and miss withthe seasoning is what we're tryng to say.

The service was ok... It was my first time even going there so i was in absolute wonder by the clean and classy environment this store exudes. Stopped by the deli and got some hot soup to go and totally LOVED THE BULK SECTION. I thought winco was the only store that sold bulk items... Will definately be going back soon.

This market is wonderful for special items not found anywhere else--especially vegan products, and for that the market deserves a 5-star. However, most prices are so ridiculously high, that regular grocery shopping is a real luxury. I made the mistake to buy everything there once and my food bill skyrocketed! Hence the 3-star rating.

I have been searching for good pho since I moved out here and I've found it! The staff was all really nice and the flavor of their broth is phenomenal. I got the M5 chicken rice noodle bowl and it was sooooo good and the prices were super reasonable.

Love their staff and love their food. The bad reviews are a clear indication that some people are just too difficult to please. P1 is my go-to. Always puts me in a good mood. They recently remodeled the interior and I was pleasantly surprised. Will return again and again.

#16 seafood in chicken broth is good. Good but weird as there's big chunks of chicken mixed in with the seafood (chicken is much cheaper). I ordered a large bowl of pho and ended up with a regular served to me. Weird sterile atmosphere no TV, no music and there's no hoisen or sriracha sauce on the tables. They bring the hoisen out to you and comes in packets and the sriracha comes in the mini bottles. Chopsticks are pink. Bowl is $14. Softdrink is almost $3. Can't afford the 6 potstickers at $8 because that woukd make what shoukd be a $10 meal $25 which is crazy. CrAzY! I used to get $5 bowls of pho and $3 for 5 potstickers and a Coke was $1 in Seattle guess. s ago now they are 3x's higher. Inflation I guesss. I don't like spending more than $15 for a meal and $10 is what a bowl of noodles, flavored broth shoukd cost.

My favorite Southeast Asian restaurants in Corvallis. I have tried almost all the dishes here, P1 and Padseew are the most delicious and distinctive. All the dishes were delicious and received five star reviews.

I went there on 12-10-22 for me and my partner’s anniversary as a small lunch date!! I got the Combination Beef rice Pho and lord was it amazing!! I enjoyed every bite!! Our server was the sweetest I did not get her name but she was amazing. I enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service I received. I will be going back 100%. I tried to take a nice picture but I was too excited and dug right in!!

P1 is a solid pho choice with 3 types of meat and rice noodles. Always a delicious combination. The thai coffee and a H10 is the other platter my wife tried, the chicken was tender and well cooked. The customer service was excellent as well. I am a returning customer and will be for a long time to come.

We haven't ate here for almost a year. During our last visit (July 2018), we were very certain this place has a new owner now (also people works in the kitchen all looks different now). Food quality (especially broth) is not as good as it used to be. However, as the only pho place in town, it's fine when you don't feel like to drive. Otherwise I would go to Albany for much better pho.

Roxy Dawgs serves an excellent array of sausages, I haven't yet found one that I don't like. And the daily deal is one of the best values in the area for a student looking to get lunch ($5 for a dog, chips or cookie, and a drink... very filling). The owner and staff are also very friendly and sociable. Overall one of my favorite lunch places!

This place must have gone way down hill since the majority of the reviews and photos online were posted. When I visited roxy dawgs, I discovered that it is primarily a donut shop. There is no real dog menu any longer. They have boring, plain hot dogs which sit in hot water all day and are not made to order. The cashier (who was unintelligent, unfriendly, and impolite) asked my what toppings I wanted, it turns out they were out of onions (???) so I ended up with 2 plain hotdogs, and a ketchup packet and tiny portion of jalapeño on the side. What kind of hot dog place doesn't serve the dog with condiments on it? Or if serving hot dogs with condiments on top is outside your culinary realm, just have a condiment bar so customers can get what they want. The delicious-looking potato spirals don't exist anymore, either. Which was a main reason I wanted to go here. Roxy Dawgs is a disgusting establishment that left a literal and figurative bad taste in my mouth. Avoid avoid avoid.

As a California native, I can say with confidence that I will miss Roxy Dawgs more when I move from Corvallis than I currently miss In-N-Out. The hot dogs are fantastic and the tornado fry (the result of spiral-cutting a whole potato with a drill and deep frying it) is absolutely phenomenal. Go! Now!

Interzone is by far my favorite coffee shop. I look forward to seeing Bill, the owner, and checking out the rad art for sale. Everybody is so kind in there, the food is delicious, and the pull the best espresso in town.

I've been coming to Interzone for over a decade, and they never disappoint! Their breakfast scrambles are incredible, and my favorites are the Greek sandwich, veggie Mac n cheese, and the Coco Bango Latte. Their scones are super yummy too! All-vegetarian kitchen! Not only is the food and coffee delicious, but the atmosphere is so cozy and eclectic. There's new artists' works on the walls every month, murals and lots of hidden joys around the shop. This business is so supportive of local art!!!! Bill (owner) is incredibly sweet, and is always attentive ~ here every morning m-f. Every person who has worked here has been so kind and friendly. Great service! I highly recommend both visitors and community members alike to visit this gem in Corvallis. It's been here for 25 years, and I'm so glad they persevered through the pandemic.

My mom and I were in Corvallis the past two days and found this local organic coffeehouse. Great, great coffee and awesome service. We had some snacks that were delicious too love the vibe and the staff welcomed us back on day two with such a warm welcome. Definitely recommend if you want great coffee in a cool, college vibe place.

I like the vibe in this place a lot; very young, very college town--a lot of personality! The people who work here are awesome, super friendly and real. It's too bad I live too far away to make this a weekly stop. Lots of espresso and vegetarian/vegan options here! Would definitely recommend

Had coffee and bagel sandwhich here. Spouse had coffee and burrito. Super happy with it all!! Vegetables were super fresh and thr seasoning on food was perfect. Staff was super friendly and the overall vibe is relaxed and chill. Was just visiting Corvalis. If I return will for sure try again

This place is a disaster. No urgency to getting customer orders out. Watched them fumble some of the coffee orders. The person taking orders is also the same person that makes your bagels without gloves. If you are going to accept money, touch the same screen as customers, then please wash your hands or wear gloves before touching peoples food! The coffee is so-so and they have no idea what a Cortado is. When you order a Cortado from Interzone, you are getting shots of espresso with a tiny amount of milk. A Cortado should be equal parts espresso and warm milk. If you don't have shot glasses tall enough for equal parts of espresso and warm milk, then either invest in some or don't serve Cortados.

Went last night, and got treated like I was a nuisance every time I ordered a drink or food, when the bartender was nice and friendly to everyone else. I also was never asked to see my ID, and I'm not sure if that's legal, since I look pretty young. The food was not really worth the $12 because the portion was pretty small. Will definitely cross this bar off my list of places to potentially go new years eve! Great service with greasy spoon delights. The smoking area smell tends to creep into the main room. Two pool tables are fun.

AWESOME dive bar! Excellent service, great staff. He made the best Bloody Mary I've likely ever had! Fun karaoke lead by a great gal when we were there NYE weekend. Awesome large covered patio. Great patrons- people. I felt safe.

Food was terrible. Looked nothing like it did on the menu. There was about 10 other customers there, so the food should have been put out looking good. Not just thrown on a plate.

Harrison’s is a nice bar with a large variety of food options and good deals on drinks. They have my absolute favorite kind of mozzarella sticks and pretty good burgers for the price. They have a couple pool tables that are free on Sundays, and they do some karaoke other nights. There is also a small enclosed outdoor seating section which is nice when weather permits. The service has always been fine and there’s a fair amount of regulars. Most of all I appreciate Harrison’s for being one of the few places in Corvallis open past midnight.

Bar tender was great but if you’re a young woman I would go anywhere but here. I was there for less than an hour and was harassed multiple times by multiple different men. It was bad enough my group decided to just leave and go to the Peacock instead (I have never had a problem there). If you’re an old white dude or a frat boy I’m sure you’ll have a great time but anyone else should stay far far away.

Actually pretty good, but when you walk in, it smells like a lot of fried stuff… The seasoning on fires are great, burger meat are okay but better than most of place. And the service are friendly and try to meet your needs, even tho they don’t sell ice cream but they still give me some. :)

Stopped in here for dinner on our way home to Washington. Food was amazing! The management & staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was super welcoming. Highly recommend trying this spot out!!

Holy moly, this place is delicious. The burgers live up to the hype, the onion rings kicked and the milkshake was an excellent cap the the meal. That staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will be back for sure!

Food is great and the service is always excellent! The crew is always in a good mood, and my food is always hot and fresh! One of the best burgers in town Update: I have been back like 10 more times, and it's always consistently awesome! We go for the food, but come back for the staff. Seriously, everyone is always in such a good mood, and so friendly.

One of the best burgers I've had! They use organic grass-fed beef. Lovely staff that were so helpful explaining the menu. We will be back for sure! I opted for a Tillamook cheese stuffed lettuce wraped patty. So good!

Yumm!! Who doesn't love a juicy, cheesy burger? This is the place in Corvallis, OR. The beef is truly delicious because it is from locally raised, grass fed critters. The flavor difference is obvious. Then there are the truly yummy sweet potato fries and special sauce. The double cheesy burger is Big, but there is a slightly smaller burger that is just as delicious. Oh, yes- Don't forget the tater tots with cheese and bacon. And the raspberry lemonade. Easy to find, downtown Corvallis. Yumm!!

This place is by far the most amazing and delicious burger place around. They have a special menu for vegan too, which I love. And their sweet potato fries are soooo crispy. Cheesy Stuffed Burgers are better than In-N-Out. That's saying a lot.

The atmosphere is a bit chaotic, however, this is a family owned and ran business and they are awesome people. As a vegan, I was under impressed with the menu. I ended up getting a falafel salad; the white onion was raw (I believe it can be sautéed - highly recommend that choice.) and the tzatziki was dairy based and therefore a dry, pungent meal overall. The falafel was A M A Z I N G!!

Ordered lamb gyros for my mom and I and we both agreed that these were the best we'd ever had. The seasoning was absolutely perfect and everything tasted so fresh. The wrap was perfect. Not dried out or excessively heavy. Parking was a little tight as they share the complex with other businesses. Walking distance to the college. Outdoor seating looked nice, but we took ours to go. Gentleman taking my order was very pleasant. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Front desk personnel was very kind and pleasant upon my entry. Got my order in bit longer than I was hoping to. But it was well worth it. We got chicken and beef shawarma, it was best one I ever ate in a Mediterranean restaurant. Hope to visit here soon. Still give 5-stars. But snap memo> pomegranate juice didn’t taste like pomegranate juice. I’m not sure what it tasted like though. Weird.

I've come here many times over the past 8 years and the food is always delicious. 5 stars for the food. The service is always friendly, but not fast. If you're in a rush, call ahead and place an order to pick up. Otherwise, plan on waiting 5-10 minutes for your meal. Lentil soup is the best in the city. Generous portions. Reasonable prices.

Very good food! The rice was perfect. I don't know what the sauce was, but I'd put it on anything

After a long and hot day, I was very excited to have my very first shawarma. I have never had shawarma before but I am very certain it should not have turned out this way. Almost every component of the plate I have received was over seasoned to the point where I could feel the individual granular spices in each bite of either the over-seasoned beef or rice. See photos one and two attached to this review : The beef was severely over seasoned. Additionally, I ordered the falafel for my partner. The meat present in her plate was also very over-seasoned. Ontop of all of this, it cost us $40 !!! Holy smokes!! I am very disappointed... Overpriced and over-spiced.

The gyros here are awesome. Wonderful and authentic Mediterranean food. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Small and interesting environment inside this restaurant. Displayed on the wall I saw a variety of different forms of currency from various countries.

I stopped in Corvallis for the first time in my life just to check out this donut shop, what a cool vibe! There is 2 hour street parking on 14th. I’m envious of the students who get to come here regularly. The cashier was super friendly. The banana split and cherry cheesecake donuts were incredible. Only $4 each! I’ll have to come back through and try their coffee sometime.

Stopped by to grab a potato donut. I had never had one before. The donut itself was a nice balance of sweetness to the potato starch flavor in the batter. A lot of donuts can be too sweet because of the sugar in the batter and then the sugar in the toppings, but the donut I had was well balanced, sweet but not too much so. The staff was social and friendly. I didn't catch his name, but he was happy to answer my questions about what it was like to work there, and about the overall atmosphere. Great spot, good donuts, I definitely plan to come back

This might be one of my favorite donut place ever, and I don't live in Corvallis. The only time I go there is just to visit my friend so like at most 4 times a year, but every time I go to Corvallis I have to visit this place. This place donuts are just baked to perfection. Its very simple yet its balanced perfectly. The dough is not flavorful but that is the reason why I love it so much, as it is just a perfect bun for the frosting on top. And not too much frosting, just a perfect balance. The only complaint I have when it comes to place is the time hours. I don't know if this is often but when I arrived late like around 4 PM it was all out of stock, it was truly a sad moment for me. So I don't know when is ideal time to stay late but it shouldn't mind me for that much. Overall love this place, and I want a place like this nearby Portland so I don't have to drive 1 hour to go there.

Went for a morning treat with my partner and we ended up here! the maple bar was pretty good, Didn’t necessarily taste fresh. However my biggest complaint is the old fashioned donut was very dry and not fresh or good in the slightest. We probably won’t be going back after that there’s better donuts nearby anyway.

Amazing donuts! The dough they use is just right. The donuts are just right with a combination of sweet and slightly chewy. I highly recommend!

If you’re not in the Portland area and you want the competition to Voodoo Donuts, the you should try Death by Donuts 🍩. Based in the college town of Corvallis right in front of the campus, you’ll be able to try these tasty treat. You have the basic traditional donuts and then the creative donuts. Best recommendation from customers are: raspberry fritter, chocolate old fashion and mocha. All these were extremely good and different in their own way. I get a lot of donuts for meeting and I know these will be gone before I open the box. Note: dozen donuts varies in price on what you want. Street parking available.

In my opinion, these are the best donuts and the PNW. I’ve lived here for over 40 years and have eaten donuts from dang near everywhere. You will not be disappointed.

After visiting WinCo in various cities, I've come to the conclusion that they're uniformly excellent places to go grocery shopping. Since it's an employee owned store, I'd much rather shop there than Walmart or other chain stores. Prices are usually the same or cheaper than Walmart, their groceries are fresh and local, fish and meat section is excellent. But perhaps my favorite feature is in the back corner: the buy by weight section, where you get to pick out a large variety of candies, nuts, cereals, dry pasta, condiments, dried fruits, trail mixes and granola mixes, among others. There's also a section of coffee beans. And yet another of nut butter: peanut, almond, cashew, etc. Freshly ground nuts turned to butter right there in front of you. No added anything. Bring your entire shopping list and lots of shopping bags 😉

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Winco is with me; your great selection and low prices, they comfort me. Winco, and its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pez dispensers and occasional $.48 cottage cheese containers, has done more for more journey towards self-actualization than any therapist or touching grass ever has. There’s a reason it’s called Winco and not Loseco.

I love my WinCo. If you're looking for low-cost groceries you really can't go wrong at WinCo. They make it pretty simple. You don't need to worry about coupons, or joining a buyer's club or anything. You just get low prices across the board. And as a bonus, the chain is employee-owned. That's very meaningful to me, and I want to support it. My only caveat is, as others have noted, the produce is sometimes a little iffy. If that's important to you, you might want to pick up your produce at a different store, or at the farmer's market.

Found everything I needed at an affordable price. They're always stocking shelves, but they do a good job of making sure there's room for shoppers. Plenty of checkout stands were open, so it went quickly. If I'm going to go into a store to get groceries (not delivery/pickup) WinCo is my go-to choice.

The Independence Oregon store has changed the grocery layout and the could be to hide the fact that prices are all a little higher. The store is clean and the bathroom was clean.

WinCo itself and its customer service and products gets five stars for my last 20 years of service but this one cashier gets one star. ​"On 9/11/2025 at the Corvallis WinCo, I had an extremely frustrating and unprofessional encounter with a cashier. I was in the process of being honest and making sure some batteries were paid for when a simple question I asked my wife turned into a pointless confrontation. ​The cashier overheard me use the pronoun "he" while talking to my wife and proceeded to aggressively correct me, even though my question to them was simply, "Did you ring these up?"after I spoke with her. When I explained that my previous conversation was not with them, the employee accused me of being hostile for raising my voice, even though I was just trying to be heard over the noise and was growing frustrated with their argumentative behavior. ​This employee was inappropriate and rude. Their conduct was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I have since spoken with the store manager, who agreed that the employee was wrong to engage me in this way and that their behavior was inappropriate." "He" what's a confrontational, argumentative and non courteous as I guess I will be accused of being since I just now used the pronoun "he". Wow!

Oh gosh, I just hate packing my own groceries so I usually shop at full service stores. Windows isn't THAT much cheaper to make me switch.

I shop here regularly. The store is clean and stocks a good variety of the things I shop for. Prices are what I call the new reasonable, too high but not as high as other stores. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They are willing to go the extra mile to help me so my disability doesn't stop me from getting everything I need. I go to other stores sometimes, but I consider this my grocery store.

Small but nice Fred Meyers. Would be nice if clothing section was bigger, but they have some good stuff. Been buying my jeans here for years. Produce and meat sections always clean and good quality. Wish they had a meat counter like the Eugene Freds.

It's ok. Employees here are very nice. It's pretty typical honestly. You can usually find a few options of most things you are looking for, but if you are looking for anything not often purchased absolutely forget it. I can't find certain kinds of beans. And I'm not looking for super obscure varieties either. Like lima beans. Their produce section is very high quality but MY GOD is it limited in selection. What you get will taste good, don't get me wrong, but given the slide of the store it's tiny. Good one stop shop but if you're looking for lots produce, make a second stop.

Never attempt to buy anything out of the box from electronics. They don’t train the employees how to remove the products from demo mode and after waiting over an hour for them to try and make it work, I finally just asked for a refund. The customer service person told me that you risk your time as the customer when you buy a floor model.

Pro: lots of choices and competetive pricing. Cons: parking is horrible. One in and out with a protected light. There’s another entrance but you can only exit to the right most times. Con: Womens bathroom has a broken restroom that has been that was for at least 2 months, so there’s always a line

The store is a nice place to shop for me, I live really close. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable, and will assist you in your shopping endeavors. They make the place honestly.

First time in a Fred Meyer store. It was a surprise to find that it was maire than a grocery store. I didn't have time to browse the whole store but was impressed with what I did see. I found all that I needed and checked out with a very friendly cashier.

I was here for a farewell gathering on a Saturday night. We visited and played a game. I had a yummy crepe and a yummy adult beverage (A Midsummer Night's Bean, made with espresso). As the night wore on, it got quite noisy in there!

Absolutely incredible food! Large portions, so great value for your money! The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating to those with food allergies and are VERY helpful in making sure that no cross contamination occurs with special items. Superior Belgian style bier (not beer...) menu, wonderful mixed drinks, and plenty for the kids, as well!

Definitely surprised by there cuisines, especially brussel sprouts, which I highly recommended to order. Other foods are nice but a bit greasy and slaty. Their food was nearly a 5 star. However they have a serious issue of the their service. There are like 3 the parties including us to be waiting to be seated, and we have to wait 20 minutes to get helped, and the environment is kinda dusty. A lot of people just can’t wait and left, which is a bit pity since your food is delicious, but they won’t have the opportunity to try it. Hope you guys make some difference.

I have been here before and enjoyed the food and service. This day I looked forward to the easy going atmosphere and some good food. I ordered a ceasar salad with chicken and a type of espresso hazelnut, with vodka drink. The drink was great, and mostly dark meat was yummy! The lettuce was a little brown and not very crunchy or fresh. That was not what I have experienced, so I mentioned this, as well as nobody coming to check with me at all after serving my food. I hope to go back, but not happy about the response I got when I mentioned my concerns, like it was not their worry:(

Food was incredible and so was the drink selection. There was a large gap in the amount of time we were sat and came back to take our order. They addressed the mistake and made up for it. We would come back.

2024 update: Still a great place to be. The Petit Syrah Beer was a great blend between beer and wine. Great beer choices with knowledgeable staff. European food. The small bites were excellent. The Chicken Apple Brie Sandwich was ok since the Brie does not go with the chicken. The Ham Monsieur Buchamel Sandwich was good. I thought the bread was too thick and the meat taste did not quite come through. Croquettes,Frites and Brussel Sprouts were excellent. Paprika chips were spicy and tasted good even the next morning.

My boyfriend and I waited for almost 15 minutes to get seated. There weren’t many people but still no server came to greet us when we went in, and waited to get seated. A group of people left and told me that they waited for 25 minutes and no one came to serve them. While debating to leave, a server told us that she will get our table ready. Gladly, the food didn’t disappoint us. My very first try for brussels sprouts was amazing! I came here because my friends recommended me that brussels sprouts are really good here! I also love the soup and the baguette! however the ham sandwich was very salty and wouldn’t recommend it! paprika chips are delicious!

Food was delicious and service was good. It was as quick service as say subway, but the quality is so much better. I'm more than happy to wait if it means my food will taste delicious. Prices were also pretty good! It's cheaper to buy a sandwich here than get the same thing at MarketOfChoice.

I want to give a good review but this visit I cannot. My sandwich was not edible. I asked for Dijon mustard and I think it poured. My sandwich tasted like it was soaked in vinegar. The store was busy and the staff was cranking out large orders. I might have just hit a bad day.

I enjoy TOGO's sandwiches but was confused by the crowd of Supreme Court justices enjoying a tasty TOGO'S treat as well. Then I remembered it was graduation day. The funny hats should have been a clue. Plenty of Free Parking!

I would give the food a 5, but I had a salad and this is a sandwich place. I feel like it could be misleading. Salad was everything I wanted though so a strong 4 stars!

How far would you go for a TOGO? Apparently 900 miles. We were in town visiting for my brother's wedding. My dad, who grew up in NorCal, wanted a TOGO sandwich since where we live in SoCal there are none nearby. The service was excellent and friendly. Our sandwiches were as expected. The outdoor patio is nice. Best of all, my dad was happy.

Skimpy portions, look at this chip photo! Kids chips contain this much. My companion ordered half and half meat and was charged $7 extra! Unacceptable to charge so much for things and then not deliver on serving size.

I ordered through the app, but just look at how small the portion is — extremely disappointing. This has to be the worst experience I’ve had here. Even the staff don’t seem to care when packing the food for app orders. Really unacceptable

This place can be good, its chipotle - but not recently. The service I received was ridiculous. They messed up my order in almost every way, then messed up my girlfriend's order giving her chicken when she asked for rice. I dont know how you hear that, then when she said she wanted rice & carne asada the guy said she'd be charged double if she made the change. I did get charged for double protein, and they only put a scrap in mine, less than a single portion. I tried to call to sort this out and it takes you to a call center. You can't actually reach someone at the location. If you go here, just know that you may not get what you ask for, and may be charged for things you did not get.

Ordered thee burritos, three dips and three sides of chips. Got one burrito, two dips, and no chips. I am a head chef of a kitchen, it is really not that hard to read a piece of paper and follow those directions. Especially in a fast food atmosphere. I don’t understand how or why people can be so stupid and incompetent. Figure. It. Out.

Busy location, reasonable portion size, small dining area but somehow this location managed to put in good number of tables/chairs. Limited parking space - better then nothing - and employees are putting best foot forward to accommodate patrons.

Got to Circle blvd location at 10:45 when they opened, said they couldn't open for 20 more minutes. I had a potluck I needed rice for, which would make me late, but I decided to wait. At 11:15 they STILL WERENT OPEN, so I went to Monroe location. There they told me a container of rice would be $5, so I asked for two containers. After they dishes it out, they said it'd be $10 ea- so double! I was late to potluck, and it cost $20 for half empty containers. Soooooo dissatisfied.

Location consistently runs out of steak for burritos or bowls. In these instances, staff expects patrons to substitute other protein options and acts dismayed when a patron refuses.

Had 2 grilled chicken soft tacos with black beans and rice and OMG, delicious!

Pleasantly surprised how good the food was here. Definitely better quality than other chain restaurants. The salsa bar has some tasty choices. The meal came with chips, which is an added bonus. Very clean and nice inside. Prices are okay, but a little on the expensive side for eating lunch on a regular basis. I think if they had an option of a smaller portion, for a couple of dollars cheaper as a lunch special, they could really rake in the customers.

Really enjoy this place. Food has always been good. Normally tidy but sometimes salsa bar could use some attention. Also if a big party would be nice to get a bigger basket of chips. They sell a cup that you can get a 99 cents beverage of you choice when you bring it back for a refill which is a good deal since soda prices seem to be extremely high in a restaurant.

This is one of my favorite places to eat! Always great. The food is consistent on flavor and appearance. Their salsa bar is my favorite part. Many different kinds to choose from. With free chips!! Friendly staff, clean dining area, clean bathrooms . One of the only reasons I come to Corvallis.

This is a decent quality chain restaurant, if you need to get food relatively quickly. The staff are nice. The salsa bar is pretty good. They do have some quality food items at affordable price. If you rate your restaurant experience using the info on the receipt, they give you a free queso chip dip on your next visit.

It's quite good, slightly expensive but about the same as other Mexican food places in the area. The staff was friendly and although it was very busy they were professional, quick, and courteous. The only reason i rate it 4 star is the food was only good. I know a lot of people who like the more traditional style of blander meat, to let the taste of the meat shine but in not one of them.

About the best "Fast Food" experience you can get. Wait time is excellent considering your food is made fresh to order. There is a salsa bar where you can dish up a selection of around 6 different salsas in varying degree of spiciness as you wait, and free warm chips are provided if you ask. Haven't ordered something I didn't enjoy, and haven't had a bad experience.

It's hard for me to admit, but Dairy Queen is becoming slightly underrated. What I love about it is that it's always empty.. Like seriously empty. The 'food' is fine..but it's atmosphere is like the most abandoned diner imaginable. It really is the perfect place to go on a depressing Friday night. I highly recommend.

I'm not sure why I paid almost $9.00 for a medium cookie dough blizzard for their not to be any candy. I paid .75cents for 3 scoops of extra brownie and to only find a couple pieces in the blizzard. Please employees at Dari queen if a customer pays for extra then give them extra and let it show.

Ordered food for dining in. Fries were cold ... Chicken barely warm. I asked for fresh fries. All they did was dump the fries I had and replaced with the same batch of fries my fries already came from. Very upsetting. Clearly if my fries were cold these fries would also be cold and they were. Really ridiculous when you complain about cold fries and they don't give you fresh fries. Like I'm standing right here. You and I both know these aren't fresh. Horrible service.

What a poor excuse for service. Ordered a cake for our daughter’s birthday and we show up to pick it up and it’s not the correct design. The person checking us out makes excuses about how they receive the request online and then rings it up. We ask for the manager and apparently the person checking us out is the owner. Ridiculously poor service. Then when we’re eating the cake and the chocolate cookie portion is only in the very middle, not even close to the edge! I would give no stars if I could.

Came in 50 minutes before closing and the lobby was already closed on a Friday night. The drive thru line was out on the street. Maybe if you opened your lobby and didn’t close almost an hour before your closing hours you wouldn’t have such a bad drive thru line. Just a thought that might help.

I love. Their burgers and their chocolate molts. They have so many other good things too. It's hard to even list or say.

I go to other locations normally and no issues, but for the first time I decided to go into this one on 9th street and what a mistake!!! I made the order on the app. And when I got the message that my order is ready I went in but to wait for 5 minutes before a very rude manager through the order on the top of the counter and go back into the kitchen without saying a ward. The first issue was with the quarter pounder which I paid an extra 50cent for extra tomato but there wasn’t any extra tomato, the cheese was shrank to fit a mini burger only and both sandwiches were cold …. We asked to get BBQ sauce for the nuggets but we were given sweet&soure and when I went back to the counter to change it , the manager rudely said without apologising : give the one you have to change it !!! Then she gave me the sauce and with sarcasm said : you welcome ….. Such a bad experience and that is one place I will not eat at again

A few days ago, I placed an order through the McDonald’s app for two $5 meal deals, both with no cheese and no pickles, but both burgers came with cheese. I called the store and spoke with Sydney, who told me to come back through the drive-thru and ask for her so they could fix it. Before returning, my mom asked me to pick up her mobile order. Since I was already going back, I agreed. I went through the drive-thru with her code while my boyfriend went inside to handle my order, since this McDonald’s usually makes customers re-enter the drive-thru for changes. At the window, Sydney told me they were instructed not to fix my order because “this happens every time.” Which is untrue — I only return when an order isn’t made correctly. It’s the restaurant’s responsibility to fulfill orders as requested. I called the supervisor, Kate, whose number I had from a previous issue where I got a burger that was just buns and ketchup no burger, I had asked the other McDonald’s for this McDonald’s supervisor. The Supervisor told me I needed to drive back home (10–15 minutes away) to retrieve the incorrect burgers before they could fix them. As a 17-year-old with emotional regulation challenges, I became overwhelmed and cried while explaining that was unreasonable. When I went back to the window, Sydney refused to fix my order or give me my mom’s, claiming she couldn’t identify it. Only after my mom described her order in detail did they finally hand it over. My boyfriend later overheard Kate telling Sydney, “Just give them hamburgers, not double cheeseburgers,” which is not what I paid for. Although the manager, Ben, has always been professional, I was later told by Sydney that I am “not allowed to be served” because I was “hysterical and almost hit the crosswalk island,” which is false. I’ve been served since without issue. This ongoing situation has been stressful, inconsistent, and unprofessional. I’ve made every effort to communicate respectfully, but the dismissive behavior from certain staff members has made that difficult.

Completely ruined my dinner. Not sure what took them so long to make 2 burgers and 10 nuggets with 2 large fries. They had around 20 minutes to make the order. Not to mention when I received it, the burgers were so heavily sauced that I couldn’t eat them and had to SCOOP the sauce off. Yes, scoop. There was that much.

So, we had a horrible experience today. First, we went through the drive through, and were told to wait on the side while our food was prepared. While my wife waited, I went inside to order something else. The problem was that I had to order using a kiosk. The kiosk insisted that my order be in store rather than take out. No employee could make the change in the kiosk order, so it took extra long to have my order for takeout. When I was coming out, my wife was getting back in line for the drive through, because they forgot her ice cream cone. After waiting another long cycle, she was only served a half portion of ice cream cone, and when she expressed concern, she was told that what she received was the correct portion, even though we have been buying ice cream cone there for years, and this was the only time the portion was wrong. And this is for something on the menu at $2.99. Disappointed is an understatement.

When I walked in, half of the machines were down. No milkshakes, no mochas, or frappes. There were ants crawling on my hand from a drinking fountain not being used. I ordered a smoothy with 1/5 of it missing. Did someone drink it, or didn’t bother to fill it up all the way. My friend ordered a burrito and got the wrong one. Overall just a bizarre experience. I don’t doubt that these people are good genuine workers. Maybe it’s just management. Hope things get better.

Godawful customer experience, rude staff, losing track of drive through; I’m appalled this store is open. Staff overhaul seems necessary, they can’t even remember a double drive thru though line with 4 cars in it? They’re skipping cars left and right and sitting people at the order stations for 20+ minutes before of the lack of short term memory between the team. I worked food service just like this for two years, more than 40+ hrs a week, I’m more than understanding, and not quick to judge. This is just embarrassing though, wildly.

Today I experienced the worst customer service, the employees were very rude when I asked for a sweet and sour sauce so I could leave and refused to hand it over. And continue to mock me and my sisters I cannot believe how rude obnoxious and disgusting they were being. I will never step foot in McDonald’s I will never order anything from there again if any of the GMAs or managers at McDonald’s see this which I hope they do. HIRE better people and if you do HIRE kids at least make sure they respect you first 🙃

I always try very hard to be patient and give everyone the benefit of the doubt. The last two times I have got to to this location my interaction has been strange. Last time I had to completely reorder at the last window as they did not have my order anymore. This time (04/25/25) I ordered the same thing I always do. A big carl no cheese this time I ordered a strawberry lemonade. The prder was repeated back to me correctly. I pulled up she started to hand me a plain lemonade I asked if it was just a "pump" if I could please have strawberry. She was nice and made it strawberry for me I thanked her and she gave me my bag of food. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. I get home to Philomath to open the burger and it is ONLY cheese. Pretty frustrating to say the least. I can handle if they just forget to leave the cheese off of the regular burger but to be stuck with the only thing you didn't want was upsetting let alone paying full price for a very plain cheeseburger.

What the hell is this? What is this, the 1950's? Disgusting. If we're bringing back misogynistic ads, at least make them look good so my skin doesn't crawl when I think of your food. My family used to enjoy the burgers and service from this shop, but will no longer be purchasing from you or any other Carl's Jr.

Food was quick and hot. I ordered a meal with the 3 mix sides and got onion rings, fries, and jalapeno poppers. I was surprised they were like a small size because I thought it was going to be a sampler size. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating as well.

Always have friendly employees, a clean lobby, and positive atmosphere. I absolutely love this place! Great food as well!

EDIT: Within 24 hrs of my negative review, Carl's Jr responded with a link to a chat bot to give them the same info I already gave them in the original report, and they still have not actually contacted me. Don't let the speedy review responses fool you. Went on Monday night and got two BYOB. It literally looked and tasted like BK. I've never had such gross food at Carl's. I think they scrape from the bottom of the leftovers to make the BYOB. Within 20 mins I was in the bathroom and I spent all night and the next day running to the toilet and fighting nausea and vomiting as well. My man felt queezy and then woke up early the next morning with stomach cramps and also multiple trips to the toilet. I reached out to customer service and they said they would flag it urgent and forward to the manager. I've heard NOTHING. They're potentially using unsafe food handling over there and then they'll try and sweep you under the rug when you get really sick. BEWARE.

Only complaint is some of the tables were dirty and hadn't been cleaned by the time we left. Assuming they were understaffed. Overall, the place was clean though including the bathroom

11:10 lunch hour and it took quite sometime to get acknowledged I was here. 1 girl running front counter and drive thru while manager is in lobby discussing something with an employee.
