What a great experience! Let me say that again “EXPERIENCE” this isn’t just dinner. My son and I were in a road trip he’s 12 so as you can imagine he rolls his eyes at everything. He ABSOLUTELY loved this. There is something to do for everyone from mechanical bull riding, an escape room, miniature golf, a good old fashioned tractor ride, BB gun target shooting, axe throwing and more. I was so impressed! The set up is just like the old west. Plenty of seating around the “town” if you have elderly guests who need a break. The dinner was incredible delicious juicy chicken with fall off the boat ribs!!! The BBQ sauce is out of this world I bought a bottle and wish I bought more. Great drinks if you want an adult beverage. The show was so fun! Don’t let the cost discourage you. It’s worth every penny. We just went to meet the teacher and when they asked what did you do this summer the Blazin M Ranch always came up. Family owned and operated. There is pride in everything they do.
Oh my goodness we had a blast! Our normal cup of tea is the casino. Lately my husband and I have been going through a rough patch after being together for 38 years. I searched for something different for us to do, came across Blazin M Ranch. Let me tell you the atmosphere was so welcoming from the moment they opened the gates! I almost felt like we just got invited to a friends ranch for so much fun and great homemade food and don’t even get me started on the amazing entertainment show they put on for us. The owners were so inspiring to me a husband and wife and they worked so hard and entertained all of us. Even came by and asked how are meal was. Seeing them work together made me remember my husband is my true partner in life. Thank you to the owners and they worked so wonderful employees for taking us out of a rough patch! God bless all of you! We will be back! Kevin and Jeannie McGuire
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Blazin M. Its really good family entertainment. We did ax 🪓 throwing & the escape room. There's a mechanical bull you can ride, a photography place to dress in western wear & have a photo taken, a small bar for beer, wine, & mixed drinks, a ping pong table, miniature golf, & there's a small museum near Ax throwing. It was so fun. Food was amazingly delicious. Bbq'd chicken, ribs, coleslaw, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn bread and a slice of cake. And you can go back for seconds, too! The show was so fun, lots of great music and laughs.
First and foremost I’d like to thank the staff for their amazing hospitality. Our family of 10 was treated very kindly. Our children were lucky enough to ring the dinner bell! The facility is gorgeous and well maintained. The extracurricular activities provided were a hit with our family. The food is probably too good, seconds are nearly impossible to resist! The show that the performers put on after dinner was so fun and very engaging. Overall this was a great experience. Our children loved it and we’ll cherish the memories made at the Blazing M ranch! Something fun to do near Sedona, we booked this on a whim and really glad we did. About a 30 mins drive but very much worth it. Lots of fun and games - the prickly pear margaritas and the little escape room were our favourites. We booked the 5pm slot and there was about 90 mins to enjoy before dinner and the show. Hugely entertaining. The staff there were excellent. We were a little disappointed as they forgot to give us our photos which we had paid for with our VIP upgrade but given the effort put in couldn't take away a star. Really fun!
A rootin' tootin' good time for the whole family. The music show is lots of fun but is likely to be more appreciated by the adults due to the song selection. The little old western town they have created is quaint with lots to see and do before the show. The food was incredible and the staff friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the trip.(A local, family owned business.)
Took my dad here for his birthday. The pre-dinner activities were so much fun! The VIP experience was worth every penny! The show was hilarious! It was chilly and the fire pits were awesome! Will definitely go back.
Absolute blast! The food was great, the entertainment was great but what really stands out is the staff! They are amazing. Every single person was friendly helpful and seemed to really enjoy being there. This place is an absolute treasure not to be missed.

Nice small town with lots of shops and restaurants. We walked around and enjoyed the scenery. Stopped at one of the bars to get a drink
Charming downtown or Ild Town area of Cottonwood. Has several interesting shops and restaurants and cafes most businesses close early, but a few remain open till 7:00 pm and later. It’s a must visit.
Quiet place on the outskirts of Sedona. Nice location and perfect place to unwind after all the energy in Sedona. There were a lot more places here than I thought there would be and everything is within a short driving distance. Not much for night life though.
Beautiful place to visit many shops quiet lots of places to eat have a drink, stop and have breakfast at Crema Craft Kitchen a must visit. Walk down the street to Old Town Rock shop, ride the rail, love it.
Cool place to walk around and do some local shopping. Very quiet on a Tuesday and many closed shops/restaurants. Get out there and support your local merchants.
Wow - what a transformation. For my tastes Cottonwood is rising fast. Snobby California get over yourself. Great experiences can happen for normal people in the Verde Valley without emptying your bank account pretending to be Silicon Valley rich. Cottonwood is a great place for hardworking people looking for an authentic wine experience delivered by passionate locals.
Beautiful, historical and fun town. Although the area was originally inhabited by the Sinagua and followed by the Spanish, it is now more reminiscent of the mining epoch and its wild west forebearers. Surrounded by the Verde Valley this historic town is nestled in one of Arizona’s most beautiful valleys. The town as a whole, from it townspeople, the shops, the restaurants make for a pleasant, homey and inviting ambience for couples or families alike. You can go really west with the likes of Blazin’ Bar Ranch, walk the town shops and enjoy its hospitality, or even have great eats whether Cowboy, Mexican or Pub food. Cottonwood is a great day trip for Phoenicians and a great weekend getaway for anyone wanting either or tranquil repose or some rip-roaring fun. We love Cottonwood, we know you will too.
Winery' taste testing all up and down main Street. Restaurants , bars ,music, a park for hiking down to the verde river where u can relax in the shade of Cottonwood trees , blue skies peeks through the branches. Never crowded Theres a small market , A store that sells nothing but glitter .everything was glittered and I mean everything. There's a hippie shop with all kinds of fun stuff , .sketches of Bob Marley and Gerry Garcia by local artist. There is another store w/ beautiful artwork .wWrought iron work , things made from local tree stumps, jewelry,Inlaid wood tables ,fantasy artwork . One particular artist had a dream of a dagger sketched it immediatly after waking and now he has a collection of artwork for sale.Alot of the art has a story the artist conveys to you . Theres always live music somewhere or a good sound system in bars and on patios almost everyday. Listen for the church bell at the Belfry Restaurant.( once a church ). When the bell rings, which can be heard all thru out the town you have 5 minutes to get in there and order a beer for 1/2 price. Fojol Brothers bar / restaurant, food truck service and old long buses for rides in the desert w/ a D.J set up, disco lights on board or a live band will make u dance the night away on a bus .! The staff is encouraged to crazily dress up for work. This place only serve beer and wine also a food truck and healthy bar food served in this fun place. Bocce by the old stone bridge . A Big fire pit outside.good places to get together for gourmet pizza and wine.full bar. Martinis r their specialty drink, different one everyday. Price is right too. Stayed in a cabin last weekend. The booking, check-in, cancellation ( I booked 2 & cancelled 1) and deposit refund were a smooth easy online process. The camp host Bill was gracious and engaging when we bothered him at close to 9 at night. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The area next to our cabin with a fire ring felt secluded even though every cabin was full. The bathroom/ showers look brand new and were kept clean and stocked. We could not have asked for a better experience! So thank you to all of you who work so hard to keep this area pristine!
Nice park, but the "accessible features" it brags about are a joke! Yes there are ramps, but using them in a wheelchair leaves A LOT to be desired. The biggest joke was the ADA campsites. Elevated platforms made of composite slats... no way to stake down the tent? And the ramp to the tent is blocked off? You have to get past the showers to use the toilet? One campground host was drunk and another couldn't keep a dog on a leash. The gate attendant was constantly outside the office smoking. Made the best of it, but definitely will not be back or recommend to anyone who rolls... shame!!
First time camping at Dead horse ranch campground. The bathrooms are some of the nicest campground bathrooms I’ve experienced. Very clean and well maintained. We camped in spot 117 which wasn’t bad, but the light from the bathroom was very bright and impacted our star gazing and sleeping. If you are going during the summer months, the campsites have very little shade so it can be very warm until the sun goes down. There’s also a lot of car traffic around the campsites. On the positive side, We enjoyed using the dish washing sink and the hiking trails all around the campground and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back!
A little disappointed that they raised the prices but still had a great time. It's a beautiful park with plenty to offer. Views of the desert and red rocks of Sedona in the distance. Plus plenty of shade and trails right to the Verde River. There's an abundance of wildlife.
This was a neat little State Park that my family attended as part of an invitation to a Foundation's event. The roads were were good to drive on-no gravel, and there was a play ground, horse stable and two ponds that we saw. People can fish, dogs can walk as long as they are leashed, and the restroom facilities were well maintained. The female restrooms had sinks, mirrors, air dryers and were comparable to a clean restroom you would find in a store or mall.
We enjoy this park a lot. We love the diversity and all the hiking. We like to ride our bikes as well. It is beautiful and there are three campgrounds for RVs and one for tents only. You can have tents in the other campgrounds as well. They keep it up OK. We think they could do a bit better on trail and site clean up, related to weeds and such. There is a nice path in the middle of Cooper's Hawk and Red tail but they need attention. The Lagoons area was great this trip. The hosts were great. Love riding our bikes into Old Town Cottonwood. If you like to fish this is a great spot.
I had been eagerly anticipating an overnight camping and fishing trip with a group of young boys, aiming to provide them with an outdoor experience away from screens and video games. We reserved two adjacent sites in the Blackhawk Loop, intending to set up tents and enjoy the night under the stars. Shortly after arrival, the camp host approached our group and stated—without prior discussion or verification—that only two tents were permitted per site. She informed us that if we did not comply immediately, authorities would be called. While direct communication can be appreciated, the delivery was abrupt and offered no opportunity for clarification or resolution. Per the campground’s official website and reservation details, our group was within all stated limits: • No more than 10 people per site (across both reserved sites) • Only 2 vehicles per site • No explicit restriction on tents per site Nowhere in the published rules is a two-tent-per-site limit mentioned. We were fully prepared to adhere to occupancy and vehicle guidelines and believed we were in compliance. Unfortunately, the host did not engage in any problem-solving or offer alternative solutions. There was no attempt to verify our reservations, review the rules together, or explore accommodations—only an ultimatum. As a result, we were forced to pack up and leave, disrupting a meaningful weekend planned for the boys. I regret not obtaining the host’s name at the time. I am submitting this review in hopes that management will: 1. Clarify tent policies on the website and at check-in to prevent future confusion. 2. Train staff to handle rule enforcement with professionalism, transparency, and a willingness to assist guests in complying. This experience was deeply disappointing, not because of the rules themselves, but due to the lack of communication, flexibility, and customer service. I sincerely hope this feedback leads to improvements so other families and youth groups can enjoy a welcoming camping experience.
Loved our stay here! Honestly so cute and worth it especially if your use to the tucson heat. It was like 100+ at home and when we were here it was 70-80s during the day!

Best wine we have found in the area!! We have explored Jerome, Sedona, Cornville, and Old Town Cottonwood and this place is the only place we have bought bottles from. (We like full bodied dry reds.) Cute little place and good vibes. The girl working Tuesday evening was awesome.
We had such a great experience at Stronghold Winery. The inside was cozy and inviting—perfect for a relaxing afternoon. They offered a great assortment of wines, and we found something to love in every pour. The staff was warm, friendly, and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. Definitely a spot we’d go back to!
Had a great tasting here at Arizona Stronghold. The service was fast and knowledgeable. Sat outside under an umbrella. Great vibes.
A great wine tasting experience. The back area had a cute setup. I would definitely recommend that they bring out the entire flight together especially when it's busy so they're not running around a bit hectic to keep up. When it's not super crowded I'd say that one at a time can make sense.
Cottonwood, located along the Verde Valley Wine Trail, is a must-visit for wine lovers. The heart of the town, Old Town, features over 60 unique shops and galleries showcasing local culture, style, and flavor.
A perfect weekend getaway for those looking to explore different wines. This place offers a variety of wines to select from. Our wine expert (Caleb) was awesome at describing the origin and taste to be expected. We happened to use a Groupon on the occasion which was a terrific value. The skewers that they grill were also amazing.
Excellent choice of wine tasting flights. Good choice of plates to share. Loved the pizza.
The service was amazing - warm, friendly, knowledgeable and sincere. Then there was the wine and skewers….OMG! No words. Highly recommend the elk (and I don’t like elk) but the bison and shrimp were also delicious. They were cooked on the barbie right behind us so we could smell the delicious aroma as we sipped our flights. All the wines were delicious but highly recommend their private, non-commercial labels are superb! I loved the white described with the words grass and gravel… ha ha so good. The reds were awesome as well! Love this place and will definitely visit again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alcantara Winery – A Must-Visit in Arizona! Alcantara Winery is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning vineyard views and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The tour was fantastic—informative, engaging, and gave us a real appreciation for the winemaking process. It’s clear that a lot of passion and care go into every bottle. The wine I tasted was top-notch! Each pour was unique and flavorful, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, offering great recommendations based on preferences. The setting itself is so peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy some truly incredible wine. If you’re anywhere near the Sedona area, Alcantara Winery is a must-visit. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or just looking for a beautiful spot to unwind, this place has it all. We will absolutely be back! 🍷✨
My husband booked us the water to wine trip as a 20th anniversary gift. I knew the cost beforehand, but I let him take charge of planning things. Little did I know that you would only get a $20 voucher at the winery after paying $360 to kayak for 1.5 hours. Basically, you are paying $320 for 2 people for 2 inflatable kayaks. Not worth the price! The employees at the kayak area were fabulous, but the ladies at the winery weren't the nicest. You can't get much off their menu for their $20 voucher. They would only be getting 1 star if it wasn't for our fabulous driver!
Lovely setting in the garden to chill and enjoy the scenery. It’s $12 for a glass of wine or $20 for 4 tastings of 1.5 oz. The pizza and charcuterie boards were $20 each and IMO not worth it. But it’s a great setting with friendly staff and worth a visit for sure.
We got married at Alcantara in early November of this year. First and foremost Annie is an incredible venue coordinator. She was there every step of the way. She was fun and awesome to work with and made our day very special. Some major bonuses for getting married at Alcantara are the beauty as a venue, the management of the bar on the wedding day, and the flexibility with how you can decorate/and make the space fit any vision you can think of. One thing to consider is that it's an outdoor venue, so plan according to the seasons. We got lucky! There was some wind and a little chill during the day, but the week before, the weather was hot and in the 90s! The other thing is there is no kitchen, so make sure your caterer can keep the food warm, and consider that when scoping for food options. All in all we had a really beautiful day. Highly recommend the venue and especially Annie.
Did the kayak paddle and wine deal. Amazing! I only got a snack but it was really delicious. Windy so avoid the umbrellas if you're outside 😀
We spent this last week in Sedona for my sisters bachelorette weekend. We headed to Alcantara winery and had the nicest afternoon. From Cliff our bus driver to Kerry and the staff we felt so welcomed. We took our flights and sat outside amongst the grapes while a musician sang off in the distance. Delicious selection of wines. Cliff even gave us a hayride tour around the property and we met the vintner who took time to chat with us. ASK for Cliff as your driver he is fantastic…just be cool and kind! ✌️🍇
I want to sincerely thank the staff at Alcantara for a wonderful experience. Beginning with our first call, Cryss Hoyle warmly encouraged us to come up, offering to help in anyway to ensure our seniors had a nice lunch and tour. She didn’t disappoint. Laurie Turner, tasting manager, gave us a lot of attention and made sure our food, drinks and tour was special and personalized. The winery atmosphere is beautiful and we all left feeling very spoiled. We even took the hayride thru the vineyard which was fun and educational.
My husband and I got married here a couple of weeks ago, and Alcantara could not have been more perfect for our big day. We had toured a couple other wedding venues, and for what we were looking for everything was overpriced and not what we envisioned. I grew up new Cottonwood, had never been to this vineyard before, and just on the off chance emailed Annie the manager there. We got in on our wedding date, with affordable pricing for the absolute beauty that this venue is. To add to the fact that this venues natural beauty is already great, the wedding manager Annie is the best! I could not have imaged having to work with anyone else except for her. She literally goes above and beyond for her couples. Annie was always quick to respond, and never got annoyed with me emailing her with my plethora of questions. You can tell she has been doing this for a very long time, because she brings her knowledge to the table throughout the process all the way to end of your event. Even helps a bride hold her dress when she needs to pee! I could gush so much more about her. All in all, amazing venue, beautiful views, great wine, sunsets, and awesome staff!!

Wonderful store with well prices, good quality, interesting items. We found some cool US military gas masks and helmets, an abundance of beautiful rocks and gemstones, and gorgeous jewelry! Very nice, polite owners. Overall a great place to spend a few hours perusing.
Such a fun stop if you are in Cottonwood! Huge (5 buildings as well as outdoor space) assortment of just about any type of antique you could want — license plates, post cards, jewelry, kitchen items, art work, Coke bottles, Knick knacks, collectibles, etc. I purchased an old issue of Arizona Highways magazine and an old postcard. The checkout process is also antique — they use a calculator to add up purchases and hand write receipts :)
Wow this place is huge! Cool stop to just walk through even if you aren’t an antique person. Lots of interesting things and some great prices - but not everything. Lots of coca-cola, model cars and trains and jewelry. So go have a look and hopefully you can find something you are looking for!
This place is amazing you could spend hours looking at all the extensive amount of goods they have im sure there is at least two things you will want at this Antique store the employees are helpful and hospitable
Always stop at Larry’s a d actually make day trips up just to see what’s new. Good selection on unique antiques and architectural salvage. Prices are moderate to high retail, but selection is huge. Larry is usually around and always greats people. Nice folks there. Cheers.
A fun establishment with A lot of buildings to treasure trove thru great staff. You could spend hours their and not see it all
Do not miss this one if you like antique shopping. 5 building to go through. Lots and lots of thing to look through. Great people to cut a deal with. Found my treasures
Such a fun place to explore - and there's a LOT to explore. Everything you could think of plus some. Need a sleigh, a old wagon, or a free standing stoplight? They've got you covered. If you are in the neighborhood, do stop in.

I love doing wine tasting tours wherever they might be. Arizona has some nice wineries and a nice discovery was the Burning Tree Cellars in Cottonwood. The location was great and the patio was very comfortable. The hostess pouring our tastings was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She made us feel at home. We did a red wine flight and then enjoyed a glass with a cheese and meat plate. Very nice! ☺️👍
Awesome place in the heart of Cottonwood! The atmosphere has a unique ambience to it. Nice patio outside. Nice chairs and couches inside. The inside is sort of a sophisticated decorum, and very inviting. The wines are really good and there are several different wine tasting options which is really a nice touch. The staff is very friendly and they are well knowledgeable on the wines and the history of the area. The hummingbird labels on some of the wines are really cool! Great selection of shirts (cool hummingbird designs) and other apparel. A definite stop during a visit to Cottonwood.
A relaxed ambiance. We sat in the large leather couches, & just enjoyed facing the windows. We understood they would be refurnishing & changing their name in the near future. We enjoyed the red wine flight.
One of several wine tasting rooms we visited in Cottonwood. Purchased the red flight, as reds are our fav. The wines are GOOD. A bit pricey, but no more than other local winery prices. The venue itself was very well done. Comfy and inviting, tastefully appointed, adding to the experience of a wine tasting. Our hostess was knowledgeable and friendly. Our small group lingered - probably too long. But the wines, the atmosphere and the service were the reason we were in no hurry to leave. Please stop in. Oh, and by the way - Burning Tree Cellars has a healthy sense of humor. They have a varietal named "ROSE B", a take-off of "Rose" (Rose-A). We enjoyed it's light, vibrant body and color.
I was in Arizona with some family. Due to some waiting issues at our restaurant, we decided to put our name on the list and then go out and look around for a winery while we waited. We stumbled upon Burning Tree and this was our best decision of the entire trip. We were actually looking to go across the street to a winery we saw, but the logo caught our eye and we went inside. Here we were greeted by a very nice man. We got two combo flights, one white flight, and a red flight. During this time, he told us all about the wines and their history, and about the labels on the bottles. The pour amount was perfect and we were all able to share and try each of the wines in all of the combos. We walked out with our wine glasses and 7 bottles to take home with us. I love the name of the company and I am so happy that we found them. They definitely made this trip worthwhile. WE WILL BE BACK!
Amazing wine tasting location. Very friendly staff, Tim helped us out with anything we needed. Good wine and comfortable location. Had live music which was pleasant. Everyone was warm and inviting. Got to keep the glasses after tasting which isn't done everywhere else in cottonwood. Highly recommend.
What a great place to hang out and drink delicious wine. Plenty of room to relax indoors or on the patio, right on Main St in the heart of Cottonwood. The pourers are friendly and unpretentious, and the AZ wines are beautifully balanced, dry and fruity. We never leave Cottonwood without a visit to Burning Tree Cellars!! Open late.
Lots of great wineries on this street in Cottonwood. I think this one is right in the middle, didn't hate it, didn't love it. It was nearly completely empty on a Friday afternoon. If you're into sweet wines this is not your spot.

Excellent wine and food! The dinner menu is always changing — we’ve had the turkey enchiladas, the chicken pot pie, and the bruschetta… all were delicious!
First time visit and really enjoyed the wine, charcuterie, and socializing. The place is better than expected and worth a visit. We tried the grenache, viognier, and a red blend. All were good. Sara was our server and she took excellent care of us. We will look forward to returning.
Cozy quaint old house perfectly retrofitted for a wonderful ambiance. Very very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Great wine flights. Bought a bottle of the Roan Red.
This is by far my favorite winery in Cottonwood. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. The wines are complex but soooo good. I did not have one but the cheese boards looked incredible.
Love their food menu and the new location. Really enjoyed the 2021 Wild Child white blend together with the Curry Butternut Squash Soup. Service was top notch as usual.
We came here because it was included in the Sip and Stay package we booked at The Tavern. So glad we came here. The staff were were brilliant at helping us find a wine we loved as well as helping us discover new things. The space is comfortable and relaxing. It was our favorite wine tasting spot in Cottonwood. If you only go to one wine tasting in Cottonwood it should be at Pillsbury!
Interesting interior with some unique decorations. There is bar seating, tables, and sofas. We were directed to the sofa in the back and ended up being the only ones there. We tried the white and red tastings that were $20 each. The fee is waived with a purchase of a certain number of bottles. They use a measured pour spout, and it was literally a taste. Barely enough wine for each of us to try it. We thought the reds were decent but didn’t care much for the whites. They are very proud of their wines, and the price point supports that opinion. The biggest issue is that it took entirely too long – we were there over 2 hours just for the tasting. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly but a bit long winded. Also, there was a fair amount of chatting among themselves while we waited (impatiently after a while) for the next taste. There were only 3-4 tables occupied so they weren’t busy. Unfortunately, we left dissatisfied.
New location in a historical mansion!! Beautiful!! They have wonderful food.. Outdoor seating. A wonderful new venue you MUST see! The wines are excellant!

Such a wonderful place to visit! The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us a great tour, sharing the history of the building. We especially loved exploring the old classrooms and the train room — definitely our favorite parts! Best part, it’s free!
The entry fee is by donation. Which we were happy to give to support the museum. Which is located in an old school. A lot of history in pictures and literature throughout the halls of the building. Was very impressed with the train track. Showing the multiple tracks, smelters and towns. So much detail to show the history of the towns.
An interesting museum with surprising exhibits around every corner. Delightful diorama with local trains and buildings. Antique dolls, doll houses with period furniture. Collectibles from the time period, historic photos of the area.
Smallish museum with lots of photos of the mining history of the area. Highlight is the working train layout that depicts all the local towns. Don't forget to visit the gift shop, where agate slices and other stones are half the price as those you'll find in Sedona.
Great little museum a lot of history there there’s a gentleman that has built a scale of the three cities with all of the train where they go and what they pick up
We came for the Halloween event and it was absolutely wonderful. The museum is in a beautiful old school building, featuring a fully restored classroom, model train set, and plenty of displays about the history of the small town of Clemenceau. Stop here before heading up to the copper art museum in Clarkdale
Nice place with nice guides. We really enjoyed seeing the artifacts up close--brought back memories!

My go to spot in Cottonwood to enjoy a Nut Brown after work with my bar buddies. The open mic was a blast last Sunday!  Look forward to the next one in February. Always a friendly atmosphere with welcoming bartenders. An easy spot to stop by and get a six pack to go or growler fill and if you are a music lover, they have some of the best local artists on Friday evenings.
I enjoyed my visit here but I can't tell what's going on with the place as far as brewery. Most of their beers and a lot of their glassware and other stuff was branded Oak Creek Brewing Company from Sedona, which is different from what some of the reviews mention here. The hefeweizen was decent. I also tried the guest tap Dark Sky Mexican lager which was good as well. They had some older gentlemen playing live music and they were a lot of fun. Great neighborhood vibes
A hidden gem in Cottonwood to enjoy craft brews with a great atmosphere. Live music on Friday’s , a large comfortable space to enjoy a football game or a round of cornhole. Tons of locals meeting up for their weekly beer. The food truck Sedona 89 just started parking out front with fantastic burgers and you gotta try the pig wings! Need a little snack? Grab some free popcorn! Cheers!
**THAT Brewery: Where Brews and Paws Unite** As a dog lover, finding a pet-friendly spot is essential, and THAT Brewery in Cottonwood, Arizona, checks all the boxes. Let me share why this place deserves your attention: 🍻 **Atmosphere Among the Brewers: 5/5** The cozy ambiance at THAT Brewery remains unchanged. You'll still feel like you've stumbled upon a hidden gem. But now, there's an added bonus: your four-legged companion can join you! The brewers' passion for their craft is infectious, and your pup will feel right at home. ❄️ **Small and Cozy**: THAT Brewery's intimate size means more personalized service. Whether you're sipping a cold one indoors or enjoying the patio, your dog can be by your side. It's a win-win for both humans and their furry pals. 🌬️ **Swamp Coolers**: Even in Arizona's scorching heat, THAT Brewery keeps things cool. The swamp coolers maintain a comfortable temperature, ensuring both you and your dog can relax without breaking a sweat. 🤝 **Friendly Staff**: The staff's warmth extends to your canine companion. They'll greet your dog with smiles and maybe even a treat or two. It's a place where everyone—two-legged and four-legged—feels welcome. So, whether you're a beer enthusiast, a dog lover, or both, THAT Brewery is the place to be. Raise your glass (and your dog's paw) to THAT!
Stopped by this place to check it out, it was a pretty nice set up and the beer was good and ice cold. Nice enough staff as well. The building itself not having air conditioning is absolutely uncomfortable and doesn’t invite you to have another cold one. Three stars for this place- good beer nice little place but hot as heck in that joint! I will be back in the winter when its comfortable to sit in the brewery.
A very fun atmosphere with good beers! The woman behind the bar was very friendly and ran the entire place herself with ease. The Watermelon Dirty Verde DIPA is newly added to my top five beer list. They have plenty of parking, some entertainment games, and plenty of board games to choose from! Would definitely visit again! The happy hour from 4-6 was a good deal!
Stopped in later on a Monday, but the lady running the place was super cool and welcoming. The space is big. Lots of room for the operation as well as enjoyment. It's got this feel to it that's just.. cool. The beers were all real good..Definitely had more than expected, but glad I did. Big fan.
The bartender was fabulously awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the beers (although I found most of them to be average). I also love the taproom, which is built into the brewery. This is exactly how taprooms should be (centered around the Brewery first and then offering patrons tables and a place to drink). The taproom had tasteful reclaimed wood siding. There was a variety of beers to choose from, including some high ABV ones. While they are not currently offering flights, the bartender was very generous at offering samples of beers so I could pick the ones I liked best.

Wow, what a find! As a visitor to the area I was looking for a Catholic Church and am so glad I came across this one! The Church itself is huge, and beautiful. The people are friendly and welcoming. Mass was one of the most reverent that I've attended with alter rail and communion on the tongue. There's also a nice little gift shop. My wife and I travel in our Rv and have been to many Catholic Churches, and this one really stands out!
Such a beautiful Church and amazing art. We were just visiting but they made us feel welcome and even my two boys who are under two did well. People made me feel loved with them too.
Beautiful house of worship. Very condusive to reflecting on life eternal. Priests and permanent deacons offer motivational, inspiring talks (homilies) based on readings from the Holy Bible (BIBLE: Best Information Before Leaving Earth.) Outside participating in daily (except Tuesdays) Holy Mass, the community offers opportunities for Bible study, parish outreach to the hospitalized and homebound. Material care for the needy. And, the Church itself is open if one desires to enter into a sacred space for quiet prayer. It's a lovely retreat from the normal busyness and noise affecting our lives. PS: Wanted to add that the photo and the drawing is that of the wood frame Church of Immaculate Conception. I took these photos during my 2011 visit (before moving to AZ 2013.) Currently, that building has been partially dismantled and is now the property of Valley View (I think that's the name) Hospice. It is my prayerful hope that someone will take the initiative to convert this former house of prayer and worship into a Chapel for hospice residents's visitors. Tues 3 Dec 2019 Visit for Holy Mass. Photographed the beautiful Advent Wreath and newly installed Altar rail, 2019.
I stoped by after five years from my first visit and I only thing I found is, cleaness, everything well organize and a HUGE good energy and an inmense PEACE.
It's a beautiful and huge church. You can even see the church when you're driving on the highway. From far it looks like a mission. It's perfectly well taken care of, very clean and it's beautifully decorated according for this time of the year with a big and beautiful nativity of Jesus Christ. From its location, you can have an awesome view of the town as well as the beautiful mountains covered with snow. I'm glad we stopped to see it.
Lovely Church. We are from out of state. Always get a little nervous attending Mass outside of my diocese parishes. We attend NO Mass. I prefer a more traditional NO (if that’s the appropriate term). Liturgical music not guitar and drums. The music at the Sunday Vigil was lovely. Father was reverent. Altar boys. No incense sadly. Homily explained the readings and gospel. Altar rail kneeling Communion on tongue veiled women. Reverent! Sacred! Store for buying holy items, Catholic books, Rosaries, etc. Confession was wonderful. The priest gave helpful advice.
Welcoming and traditional community. The people were happy to engage in conversation and to provide directions. The grounds and architecture are simple yet elegant. There's plenty of parking. Members of the parish were generous in helping me as a traveler. I wish I had time to stay and worship with them.
Wonderful! Acoustic sound was great. (Acoustic panels beautifully incorporated) There are even head sets available. Father David; the Pastor is a spiritual Father to all. Church's stained glass windows are from early 1900"s and worthwhile to see as an experience in this art. What a Blessing Immaculate Conception Cottonwood is to the community and visitors! 🙏💕

Quaint old authentic theater. Run by dedicated local volunteers. The theater hosts many entertaining shows. We attended Zazu West jazz musicians last night. Great show!
Attended a showing of The Greatest Showman while on vacation at Cottonwood and enjoyed a warm welcome at this cozy venue. Happy we stumbled upon it.
What a wonderful Old Town feel and the music was wonderful
A beautiful space to enjoy an event of music, this building holds so much history and is a fine asset to our community. We love it !
Wonderful musicians playing a concert dedicated to Bob Dylan was a good time!
Very unique, small venue with all the charm old theaters have. The outside is beautiful native stone and the inside nostalgically welcoming. With various forms of arts and entertainment from movies to dance to music, always well done. Check it out!
+JMJ Saturday 20 May 2023 Was invited by one of the performers, friends of mine, to attend a Bob Dylan Birthday celebration. It has been many many many years since I have attended an event such as this concert of musicians who performed songs composed by their favorite world renowned performing musician. The Center is spacious and had a capacity audience. The musicians were very good. Additionally, the stage had a huge screen which displayed ever changing images. Didn't take any photos, but if I ever return for an event, I intend to do so. Oh! And, I was surprised to learn they have a concessions area. Health reasons prevent me from even enjoying the popcorn, but still glad they had refreshments available. It was a wonderful evening of great music and fun entertainment!
I've gone to a couple of events here and it's exactly what you would expect of a small town arts center: passionate people putting on programs that delight and inspire. Movable rows of chairs, rather than theater seating, in the room with a stage, but they've recently added drinks/snacks. I hope the public continues to support them and their mission.

The Winery 101 tasting room in Cottonwood was one of several our small group visited recently during a trip to Cottonwood. Tasting rooms are popular and growing in number as wineries attempt to "bring the winery to the customer". The atmosphere is cool, relaxing and the service was friendly. We had a flight of reds and our server described each as we proceeded through the tasting. Winery 101 wines are flavorful, have a good bouquet and body. Worth you time to stop in when you're in Cottonwood.
We liked the wine but it was a bit fruit forward (jammy) as we started the wine flight of reds. They did get a bit dryer as we worked to the 4th and 5th one. Very nice and knowledgeable pourer. Ask about how they got the name...it’s not what you would ever guess and it’s NOT about Highway 101 in CA !
Fun spot for a wine tasting. In the heart of old town Cottonwood. This was included in our sip and stay package with The Tavern hotel which I highly recommend.
We loved our experience here! Sarah was so great, friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. This is our favorite place in Cottonwood!
I have been to the tasting room in Cottonwood many times now and I always have a great experience. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, and if you happen to go in when the owners are there, you're in for a real treat! They are kind and hilarious and treat everyone like family. And of course...the wines are delightful, too! I've been around the northern AZ wine scene for several years now and Winery 101 quickly became my favorite when I found them. Great flavor, high quality and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!
Winery 101 is our first stop whenever we visit Cottonwood. They have great wine (we love their Cabernet) and a very nice owner. By the way, Sam, who manages there, is easy to talk to, attentive and a delightful hostess. It's a laid-back and unpretentious atmosphere. We recommend!
My wife and I had a great time at their one year anniversary. The owner and his staff were very kind to us and very informative about their wines, which were great! The personal touch he gave us, made my wife and I feel like we were old friends. We had an excellent time and look forward to coming back in the future.
My wife and I spent a night in Cottonwood last week and were fortunate enough to walk into Winery 101 where Vince prepping for close. He happily stopped what he was doing and let us down a great wine tasting. All of the choices were great, including the wine he helped blend. Hoping we can one day find your wines in store here in Tennessee. Thanks again Vince!

We went here for The Thunder Valley Rally, featuring Puddle of Mudd. The venue was good, although a bit of a walk to the event area from where we had to park. The backgrassy area was good, although they should really consider moving the stage to the West corner as opposed to the East. Im sure the Bands would appreciate not being blasted by the sun the whole time. Really didn't get to use the facilities much, just the grassy area in the back. Looks like a nice set of ball fields and a pretty decent sized skat park. I think this would be a good place to hang out and watch some games!
This park is great for sports! It’s divided into 2 areas. One is mainly a kids playground and across the streets is the playing fields. There’s also hiking trails that take you across the river into the state park
Clean park with shaded play areas. They even have a smaller area for toddlers as well as some swings that are in a shaded area. Lots of green grass to play in too.
Tranquil and canopies of CoSandra's! Great picnic pavilion and multi ballpark. I lasted 9 holes at Frisbee golf in natural sandtraps! No wind sets up the hot and humid after the afternoon monsoon moisture, perfectly, while trees eat your disc. What is not to like? I'll be back (hole 9 tree). .. .
Easy hiking trails and easy river access. Great for relaxing or fishing. Be careful in the evening with your dogs. There are skunks in the area that come out when the sun starts to go down. The new playground area is really nice too.
I walk my dog here often. The peace and serenity it offers is amazing..water..birds..trees ...and recently river otters.
This park is a main park in cottonwood az close to dead horse state park it has ball fields an updated park and play ground soccer field a skatepark a dog park.
I love walking the trails here. The "river' is more like a creek but is still a great place to get some exercise.

Nothing but praise for Trevor Gottschalk with Old Town Frame Company!!! Friendly and personable, Trevor patiently walked me through picking out the mats and frame for my husband's diploma. It turned out even better than I anticipated. 🎉 We will definitely use him again in the future
Trevor did a great job framing my college diploma. I had no idea on what colors to pick to match the diploma. He helped and guided through the whole process. The end product was excellent!
This latest visit with Trevor was my second project I got his help with, double matting on a odd sized print for a charity event fundraiser. The first time I came to him was to get a painting framed as a Christmas gift. Both times I was pleasantly surprised how nice they came out. With fast, affordable service that includes his personal attention I have to say they're the best frame shop I've found in this area. I will be back- As I appreciate quality, friendly service.
Trevor is there on Saturdays, besides weekdays. There are thousands of framing possibilities and he is an artist in his own right with his work - it is excellent. He will charge you for his good work, so don't expect cheap work or cheap prices, however, you can always buy a cheap look. Discerning eyes can tell. His work will pass just about any "test".
My experience was outstanding. Trevor helped me create a shadow box of wedding memories for my kids. When it was completed, the background I picked just didn’t seem right. Trevor took the whole thing apart and remounted them on a more muted color. I am delighted. This is a gift my children will treasure.
Trevor has done work for my business and for our personal items. He is extremely reasonable and his work is perfect. So thankful to have Old Town Frame Company in our community. Thank you!!
Wonderful shop. I had 10 pieces of art to frame and went to a place in Sedona first for a quote, which was double what Old Town quoted. Even if it had cost the same, though, I'd have taken it to Old Town. I've had a least 18 pieces framed by them so far and these guys know their business. They handle your art with care and have a great eye for pairing art with frames. And their timelines are really good, as well. They are my go-to guys.
Trevor is a perfectionist. His work is consistently perfect and the level of service is always very caring and personal. Have been a very satisfied customer for years.
