It was located on the beach with several activities. The food was good, the service was excellent, everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. Not much to do in the area so bring things to keep your interest to enjoy your stay duding down time. Decent gaming casino. Not too large. Only thing I wasn't used to was paying for drinks while gambling. I'm used to playing and just tipping for my drinks. But overall was a nice 1st experience.
This was our first stay at the resort; although we had previously played at the casino. It was a great room; clean and comfortable with a great view. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at Emily's; food was good and a good value for what we spent. Casino was the same as last time. Bonuses are few and far between and payouts are tight. We will definitely be back to stay..not so much to play😊
Everytime I visit I enjoy myself. It's laid back with engaging services that make you feel comfortable and welcome. I like visiting the beach so a beach access literally down the road is very convenient. Plenty of slots card games and even entertainment. I'd recommend this casino to anyone who enjoys risking it for the biscuit.
I've come here since they opened. It is located on a pristine part of the beach. Everything is basically fine with it, but the quality has worn down over the years. They have done some renovation work, so many of the rooms are very nice. For somewhere that wants you to stay in and gamble, drink and food prices are exorbitant. For the most part the food is acceptable but Emily's has taken a dive. The staff are lovely and helpful. It's comforting to see the same people working there. I'll continue to visit but I feel this place has seen better days.
We only spent one night because we were touring Washington but I am so glad we picked the Quinault Beach Resort. The rate was very low for such a nice room! There was an electric fireplace on the room that made for relaxing ambience. The bathroom was fabulous; it had a traditional shower head as well as a rain shower overhead. Never in my life have I enjoyed a shower so much. The casino was nice. We only spent 20 minutes in it, but we left with more money than we started with and promptly spent it at Emily’s Restaurant, which is on the premises. Also, it on the beach!! The walk was relaxing and beautiful this time of year with so few people around. This would be a perfect weekend getaway for city folks. I only wish I didn’t live 2500 miles away.
Lovely place. Great view. Good food. Clean room. Excellent service. No room service, can order food to take to the room. No extra towels or blankets, can get if ask. All and all nice.
This was a trip planned for my birthday and it was almost ruined by the very unfriendly staff. They refused to help my friend get a player's card and told her that the machines would just take money. When I went to get my card they refused and said my ID was expired when it was not. The casino was just sad. All slot machines and only 4 tables only serving black jack. We didnt even bother playing at the casino because of this. The stuffing was patchy enough in the comforter you could see daylight throughout in patches. I was cold all night and the bed was so lumpy I woke up sore after getting a massage. We ate dinner at the bar and it made my friend sick. The only thing that was good was the massage I received. James, who is contracted through the casino gave a great massage. I will not be going back and do not recommend this establishment to anyone.
Really nice spot—super clean, modern, and right on a beautiful stretch of beach. The casino itself is well kept and has a good mix of games. Biggest downside was the food situation—long wait times, so we ended up leaving to eat elsewhere. Overall though, the property is impressive, the beach access is a big plus, and it’s worth the visit.

Fun learning opportunity for families with lots of interactive exhibits for kids. There are multiple rooms to learn about nautical history, coastal habitats and wildlife and some history of the native people. The story of the founders of Ocean Shores is also covered. Most exhibits are hands on for kids. Also check out the outdoor loop trail
Easily my favorite place in Ocean Shores. Very cool exhibits on natural and cultural history of the region. Exhibits on geology and minerals; coastal systems and watersheds; shipping and logging industry; beachcombing activities; natural history and animals of the region. It’s $8 entry for adults (subsidized for students and military/veterans) and so worth it. The docent at the front desk was so friendly and nice. Lots of fun books and gifts (magnets, toys) in the gift shop.
Very fun museum and great to visit the less busy edge of Ocean Shores area. The kids had the best time in the science exploration area and our 4 year old said before bed later that night "I can't wait to be a scientist". They had fun leading us through the whole museum afterwards and there's so much to see. Shipwreck items, local history, dioramas, taxidermist preserved local natural creatures, and a cute little gift shop. All for very reasonable price and with friendly staff.
This place was the perfect stop for our 5 and 2 year olds. You can touch everything in the museum except the taxidermied animals. They had a great time steering a ship, trying on hard hats, crawling through a cave, and feeling animal pelts. The bookstore has a great selection of both children's and adult books.
Super friendly staff! They let you touch almost everything so it’s perfect for kids. Lots of info about local history, flora, fauna, and ships! Cute little gift shop with free shipwreck maps. Only $10 for the whole family! Highly recommend.
We loved spending time learning about native history and peoples, and admiring their technology, methods and tools. It was awesome to see comprehensive exhibits covering a variety of topics including history of the forests, animals, and grey’s harbor communities and beyond. We learned many new interesting things about the Pacific Northwest because of this museum, and even brought home special souvenirs, including an interesting book by a local author. Definitely worth a visit for lovers of nature and curious minds.
Cool little museum with a lot of interesting things and information. The children's area was really well done with lots of things to touch and play with. Fairly inexpensive at $10 per family. We stayed for about an hour with 4 adults, a 15 year old, 12 year old, and 2 year old.
The building looks small but it's pretty big. A lot of information I learned a lot about the ocean. I don't recommend my 4 year old to go lol.

What a wonderful day trip with the family. Easy to get to. Great directions. Beautiful area. When the tied. Is out in best. You can walk all the way around. A great walk.. Looked for agates...driftwood and there are plenty of crabs that have washed up...
We decided to visit this beach after reading reviews online. My husband and I, along with our friends (another couple), love Ocean Shores and wanted to explore another beach. However, our experience here was extremely disappointing. As soon as we arrived, we were met with an incredibly rude and hostile man. Without asking us anything, he immediately told us that we could park anywhere—just not on his property. We had no idea where to park, where to get a permit, or even how to access the beach. Instead of offering any guidance, he was simply aggressive and unwelcoming to both us and our friends. We are just regular young families looking to enjoy the beach, and we would have gladly purchased any necessary permit if someone had explained what was required. But we were given no information, just hostility. We didn’t even know this was private property—we only came based on Google reviews about a nice beach. Unfortunately, what we found instead was an unpleasant encounter with a rude person, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If you’re looking for a welcoming and relaxing beach experience, go somewhere else!
I had to see it with my own eyes. The around 2 mile long, 2 to 5 football fields wide (depending on where you're at) of amazing beach... It's basically all completely gone! It's about 10% of what it was since the last kings tides (around January-ish 2024) absolutely wiped it off the map! The beach of what's still there is almost all leveled out flat, so at high tide it becomes a little island, maybe a couple football fields of beach (zero access across to it, with insane riptide between), at low tide, you're still getting wet crossing over to it, and you can hardly make it safely over to the little island of mud sand. Not to mention it's illegal to even trespass over to it. Zero parking anywhere... So sad to see it gone. Posted pic of the only way in or out to damon point by foot at 2hrs before low tide
Nice place to enjoy the sand and waves, fun beachcombing for shells and rocks. Lots of people there but it still felt open and spacious.
Beautiful little beach with easy parking. We went early on a Saturday and there were few people. Everyone we encountered was really polite, giving us space to play with our dog.
Came in mid-October, absolutely well worth the trip! Just a few highlights: Check the map for regulations on open and restricted areas and seasons. Got relatively busy - but not crowded - later in the morning. Though the map suggests pets are not allowed in the farther 2/3 of the spit, there is no other signage. Easy to find interesting jasper, quartz and agate specimens in gravel beds. Check the tide tables to help you with timing your visit. With somewhat limited time and dogs in tow we were unable to walk to the end. Would definitely come back to enjoy a longer visit.
Very Disappointed i came down for a vacation and was told by numerous people to come here before leaving i did Just that only to find the Entire beach is closed. With no trespassing signs and cones Everywhere. I do not know why or what happened but the mere fact it was suggested by so many people just to have been closed with no warning on sites. Very disappointed.
One of the coolest spots, if you look closely you can find starfish and little crabs, the ocean is peaceful and generally a great place to really reconnect with the planet. 10000*would go again. Also, watch your step, those little crabs always pop up out of nowhere.

We make our annual trip to Ocean shores around August and this is always a stop for the family. I like that they have double go carts so you can bring the kids 42 inches or higher with you. They have a slick track that add a little more adventurous times to an all ready fun time. But don't forget about the bumper cars, these also are a kid favorite. They have done some minor up dates that really have improved the over all experience. Have fun for around 7 dollars for each person.
Expensive for the gift of bacteria. Lol( the hand sanitizer stations are all out and its like full if gross bacteria people. Sorry for the negative review. But its true. And the tall ,large male that works there throws stuff when hes mad. So watch out for the big boy that works there.
The Slick Track was amazing! The attendant seemed to not know a whole lot about what they were doing, but still recommend
Had a lot of fun trying the slick go carting. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Rates are also very affordable. Plus there is an ice cream shop to enjoy ice cream and coffee with your family Had lot of fun, would highly recommend it.
Such a cool place. My son got to do the Go-Karts for the first time and loved it. He got to do 10 or so laps and had a blast. Well definitely be back!!!
Fun place to bring the kids. Have gone here over the years with our kids. This latest time just stopped by with buddy for a quick game of putt putt. Something to do in area. They were cleaning the bumper boat pond or we would gave done that too.
This place is SO MUCH FUN🙃! The slick track is amazing and over the top fun. I took my 13 year old daughter today for her first time. At first she was nervous and quickly fade into a pro race car driver. Then to the standard track. And the curves add the extra fun to this track. With a few good places to pass my daughter was the real winner🥰🙂
Lots of fun, was cool riding the roller coaster with my parents! And my kiddo had fun too!

Service for our convention was OUTSTANDING!! Kudos to everyone who contributed. Bathrooms were clean and stocked at all times and the meals served were perfection. Thank you!!
We recently went to the Razor Clam and Seafood festival. It was a fun way to spend a few hours. We loved the clam chowder tasting event. 😋 Live music and some good food trucks to choose from. The the scallop food truck was amazing 👏 🤩
I Went to the arts and crafts fair labor day weekend. There was a good variety of vendors, food trucks, and some live music. Cute little fair in Ocean Shores.
Very clean bathrooms both men and women's. The areas were split and different bands did not bleed over each other which was great. The Irish Festival here is very friendly and fun.
For a small town, this convention center is pretty good! There's ample parking and usually not a fee to get in; depending on who's running the show. There's no good places inside but often there will be a vendor or two outside set up in the parking lot.
I was a vendor at the convention center this last weekend! Lots of happy visitors! The staff was great! I'd consider it a success!!!
We went to the Hog Wild bike event. It was awesome, everything went well. Great place to visit!
Attended Galway Bay's Celtic Feis, so much enjoyable Irish & Scottish music groups.

I came here while visiting and loved it! There were plenty of things for any budget. I bought quite a bit of small trinkets and spent about $45 and then came back for a painting I couldn’t stop thinking about. Luckily, when I went back for that painting the artist, Howard Hosford, was there! It was a delightful conversation and I got to learn about the famous cat Maggie, you can see on his IG. I shipped the painting back to AZ and now searching for the perfect frame :) (I hope it’s okay to share the items I bought. The artists’ info is attached and so worth looking up!)
Fusions Gallery is an absolute gem in Ocean Shores! We stopped by just to check it out and ended up staying for an hour and a half, thanks to the incredible atmosphere and the kindness of Howard, who works there. He shared the history of the gallery, which has been around for 23 years, and even gave us some fantastic local recommendations. As a fun bonus, since it was our first visit, he let us add our own little mark by drawing on the floor with Sharpie! The artwork is stunning, and I couldn’t resist picking up a super cool coloring book and the cutest little bookworm sculpture. The whole experience was unforgettable—beautiful art, great conversation, and such a welcoming vibe. If you're in Ocean Shores, this gallery is a must-visit!
Fusions Gallery is an absolute gem in Ocean Shores! If you love supporting local artists and finding one-of-a-kind pieces, this place is a must-visit. The gallery is filled with beautiful handmade items—jewelry, ceramics, paintings, textiles, prints, and so much more. Every piece feels special, and you can tell the artists put their heart into their work. It’s such a welcoming, inspiring space, and a wonderful way to experience the creative spirit of the local community. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
Fusions Gallery is everything you could want from a seaside gallery. Howard is wonderful. My sister and I wandered the gallery today and walked out with 4 Mary Gibbs watercolor creations. She captures the spirit of the Pacific coast perfectly. Howard was full of facts and stories about the artists. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town.
Absolutely awesome! So many gorgeous art pieces, very reasonable prices. Talked with Howard an artist who works there, he was so kind and knowledgeable! I loved talking art with him! Bought a little watercolor tile, so beautiful and I love it!!
This gallery is like stepping into another realm! I love ocean shores and I haven't been back since I was kid but I don't remember anything like this beautiful shop being here! There are so many amazing pieces of work here, the artists are incredibly talented! You can also draw on the floor which is a fun lil perk but the best part of the shop was Howard! He was such a delight, my friend and I absolutely adored his energy! Such a positive ray of light. Sorry we didn't come back the next day like we said but Howard we will never forget your kindness, thank you!
Stopped next door for spontaneous fish and chips, decided to walk to the gallery after lunch before heading out and WOW am I glad we did!! Had a great time meeting the storekeeper & artist (if I remember correctly, I think he said his name was Howard, sorry if I got it wrong!), exploring local art, and... signing the floor. Yes you read that correctly, and no I will not elaborate; it was an experience you truly just need to go and have to understand. Will be back next time I'm in town for sure!
Hands down my favorite place I visited while in town for the weekend. Lovely variety of local artwork, and great customer service! Keep putting smiles on others faces :)

Fantastic staff, friendly and helpful. They have an incredible variety of ales available. I had a really great amber or red ale and the smoothest IPA I've ever had. I can't wait to sample the rest.
I love the man behind the counter, Dick. He's always so excellent and friendly. Their seltzers are like no other. My partner loves their IPA and I also do like their stout. They have something for everyone, along with little snacks :)
It was hard to find, sits on the back of a building, but after a couple of drive bys, we found it. I have to honest, I am surprised that the review are so good. We really didn't think it was a good experience. Beers were ok, and the small quaint location could be great, but we didn't really feel welcomed. It wasn't packed so it was not like they were too busy - we just didn't get that usual small brewery welcome and sharing of knowledge of beers that we like at a brewery. Maybe try it again on another visit.
I just spent a week in Ocean shores. I found this nice little brewery. This brewery is a nice place to meet local Customers. We showed up after hours one day and the owners and customers referred us to local drinkeries nearby, super friendly people
Hidden Gem. Bartenders were great and very helpful. Blast Zone spicy beer was surprisingly delicious.
This business say they allow dogs but turns out only in a very small area in the parking lot next to the handicap space. And I felt the bar keep was a bit condescending in his reply when I asked if dogs were allowed. It would have been better had he just said no we do not allow dogs. My advice to those traveling with a dog like me is to skip this place and try Ocean Pours. It’s literally a 1 minute drive away. They have a large beer garden area where they totally welcome leashed dogs. And the staff there are cordial.
Mellow atmosphere, great outdoor space, Elk Head staples and rotating taps. Pups allowed in the parking area.
For living in Enumclaw I feel like i should be doing a review for the Buckley location, but only ever get to the OS one. The guys are very knowledgeable about beer and are fun to talk to about their craft. I love the pepper beer, it's the most delicious heartburn ever. The store itself is pretty cool, lots of custom wood work and fun games.

It was a wonderful walk with our fur babies. Not to far and not to brushy and easy to get through. It's pretty cool the spit at the end is a cool sight. We worked up an appetite for sure.
Came here for beach combing, looking for agates.... Just a regular beach. No rocks at all. Lots of clam holes. Found a beached whale. If it's a beautiful sunny day, one could probably take the kiddos over by the mouth of the river for a fun day of little floats on an inflatable.
We really enjoyed hiking in this area. There’s an easy out and back trail that has plenty of fantastic birdwatching views.
Really lovely hike to a wide open beach. The sand dunes visible on the hike are really interesting. Not at all crowded on a Friday afternoon in August.
Go during low tide and walk the 1 mile trail out to the point. When the path splits go left and have fun exploring.
The trail is overgrown in places with prickly trees that feel like a bunch of needles poking you (quoting my 11 year old). The views along the creek out to the ocean are beautiful. The parking lot warns of spurs, and a few of us got stuck by them. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the hike/walk. If anything, I'd go to the halfway point lookout and then turn around. The trail is much more overgrown after that. See pics for the tunnels of brush we had to go through.
Small but quaint day-use only park just off the Pacific down in the Ocean Shores area. Well-used cooking grills decorate a grassy open space highlighted by a covered group picnic structure. Yes there are bathrooms, but I did not brave the interior of the structure. A trail at the back of the picnic area meanders to what is presumably a beachy expanse. Enjoy! Olympic Otter
Nice hike to the water lots of driftwood not to many people. There is a public bathroom at the trail head beach parking area it was clean.

This trail is such an incredible little slice of nature. The trail is a very mild easy hike, but with such a huge payoff! As soon as you step into the area there is a wonderful quiet peace. Everywhere you look there are giant ferns, gorgeous trees, and so many types of mushrooms all over the place! I love searching the fallen trees to see little mushroom habitats. There's also a view of a lake that often has ducks and geese. This is such a great hike if you are looking to escape to nature without having to leave town. It feels like escaping to a little slice of paradise everytime I go. It's a peaceful trail, and I've never run into others while on it. I highly recommend!
Easy walk with kids. Lovely woods to meander through, open on the trail along the pole line side.
Like walking into another world. It's beautiful. Difficult to walk if you have disabilities as there are tree roots all over the path. But beautiful and a wonderful experience to walk in a rain forest. Thank you to everyone who worked to make Weatherwax a nature reserve.
This is a cute little trail! I visit Ocean Shores often, and it’s always nice to find things to do beyond the beach. This trail offers some lovely views of the lake and works well for a casual walk, a light hike, or even a bit of cardio if you keep a steady pace. It’s also a great option for people with pets. I’d say it’s suitable for older kids, but it might be a bit tricky to navigate with a stroller due to some uneven spots. Overall, a great little nature escape right in town!
A beautiful trail through old growth trees along Duck Luck. Peek-a-boo views of Duck Lake, moss covered branches, massive trees. Well groomed, easy walking trail.
Nice and easy trail. Excellent eco system with edible berries. Be aware there are mosquitoes here. I stopped to take photos and they were on me super fast. You can't miss them they are big.
A nice trail for walking but I never did get any good look at the lake that it's supposed to be alone because the vegetation is too grown.
Beautiful lush moss-draped forest…like being in a rain forest in the middle of town.
