Nice outing. Beautiful views, place to eat, fun things to see and do! And… outlet shopping near by. Lunch at Silver Diner was perfect! Looking forward to returning with the warmer weather.
Great place to Visit Whenever you're in the DC area Washington. God bless America.Good place to relax.Feel the breeze.Get some sand in your toes also , great attractions People are friendly and I believe it goes to the fact that you're in a place that is representing a miracle. You never wanna be considered a fool in a place where people are coming to appreciate. The freedom we have we as the people
National Harbor is a fantastic spot for families. The waterfront views are stunning, and the playgrounds are well-maintained. Kids love the carousel and the occasional pop-up events. There’s plenty of room to run around, and the variety of restaurants means everyone can find something they enjoy. Plus, the proximity to D.C. makes it easy to combine with a day trip to the capital.
National Harbor has plenty of places to eat as well as some unique shops like Mahogany Books, Build a Bear, and some sip and paint shops. If you are looking for name retailers like Sketchers, Michael Kors, then drive over (or hop on the shuttle bus) to the Tangers Outlet. In November they have a big tree with a nightly lighting ceremony- on Saturdays at 5:30 there is also a fireworks show. Multiple hotels are here, but the Gaylord National Harbor Hotel and Convention Center is probably best know. There is a walking trail that will take you along the Woodrow Wilson Bridge to Virginia (or the Tanger Outlets). There is a carousel (not sure what the hours are) and the Capital Wheel Ferris wheel. There are multiple parking garages.
Very nice place shopping, bars, restaurants and a muse paint bar is close by. The Ferris wheel is a must ride if you are afraid of heights it’s nothing to worry about it’s so steady doesn’t even feels like one is moving. There’s also a ferry that is something that can be done.
If the water wasn't always disgusting it would be a 5. Good spot for a walk and then a large selection of various restaurants and shopping venues. The ferris wheel looks fun, just not my thing.
The place is not that big, but has a good variety of restaurants, bars and outdoor art to view. An outlet mall is also near for those who like shopping. Perfect for a weekend escape.
This place offers a vibrant waterfront experience featuring attractions like the iconic Capital Wheel, a variety of waterfront dining and shopping at Tanger Outlets, boat rentals, visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Waterfront District, explore the National Harbor Beach, or take a stroll along the waterfront trail. The area also hosts hotels, entertainment venues, and seasonal events, making it a lively destination for families, couples, and tourists seeking a blend of relaxation and adventure.

Great place for the kids to be kids. They can run around in the sand while having fun in a safe environment. Instead of playing electronics, the kids interact with other kids and have fun socializing.
We loved to visit it on winter even when it was cold. The place is beautiful, not crowd and many good restaurants in the area. Easy to walk around with children and enjoy it.
Very cool art piece, one of my favorites I have seen. It always gives me a feeling of a struggle, as the giant either rises or sinks into the sand. Great playground for the kids.
Location: I loved the first time I was here, so I decided to come back since I was in the area. The Awakening sculpture is located right in National Harbor of Fort Washington / Oxon Hill MD area. Area: This place is an amazing spot to hang out during a Saturday or Sunday afternoon with family and kids. In the center, there is sand available for the children to play. The scenery is nice, next to the Potomac River, boats, the Capital Ferris wheel, stores and restaurants. Perfect place for photos and photo shoots, I saw many people taking pictures of their special event here. Buy: There are many stores, restaurants, and food trailers that are easily accessible to everyone. Parking: Parking wasn't too bad the first time but this second time: it was horrendous! I understand because it is a pretty spot for family and kids to spend time doing a little bit of everything but I wish there was more accessible parking for everyone. Walking is definitely required depending on which parking garage you parked at.
My husband was active duty for over a year in Washington DC. so we all decided to look for family friendly and free is a must. It was a very nice and creative sculpture. A nice/good place to stop by to take pictures. Then after you check out the sculpture there are a lot of good restaurants to choose from. We had a great time here.
This guy was awesome! It's a VERY small sanded area between piers. It's great for some pics and perhaps a lunch in the area but we were there early am. If you're passing through and just want to kill some time I suggest it. There's also a ferris wheel at the end of the pier. National Harbor is pretty cool with all the bronze statues of many pioneering Americans.
I have always loved this statue, but this was my first visit to its new location at the national harbor. Such a cool little setup. Easy to park, lots of amazing statues of historical leaders and iconic moments in history. Really enjoyed it with my kids!
We stopped here on the way to Alexandria, VA. This statue has a giant emerging from the sand. It was originally elsewhere and was almost sold to the Japanese. An American businessman bought it and moved it here along the Potomac. There was a sign saying it was closed but I did a quick visit. There are several cool places to visit nearby including a salute to the military with all branches represented.

Great experience! Amazing views and good armosphere. Fair prices. We were a family of four so we got the package with the picture for the two adults and the kids entrance and I think it was a great choice!
Nice experience! Very smooth ride, pleasant staff, and a fun picture! We went in early afternoon, so there was no wait. The cars are cooled and the seats are comfortable, nice padding. Our operator was funny and informative! I would imagine riding at night would be incredible!
I was really disappointed with this ride. It was a weekday so no people there except us. No line no wait time. I saw some people coming, taking pictures and leave. Still i was hopeful to try it out. The amount of time you are up that's reasonable but I didn't find it to be amazing. No amazing view whatsoever. Its just some water n buildings that's it. When I was in myrtle Beach ⛱️ I took a similar wheel ride n the views were mesmerizing. I know its not a beach here but still. What really pissed me off that after the ride I saw an advertisement on board that says there is a package of $35 for 2 people and you get a digital photo too. But i paid $40 for the ride and $5 for parking and I wasn't even notified about this. They should've told me about this if there is something available like it.
We decided to end our trip with the Ferris Wheel at National Harbor, and it was such a fun choice! Tickets were easy to get, and our Uber ride from Arlington dropped us off so conveniently that we could just walk right down. We only waited about 15 minutes before boarding. The gondolas are spacious, air-conditioned, and very clean. It was the perfect, relaxing way to wrap up our visit. We were there on a Thursday night (end of August) and there was a movie playing off the pier. Very cool!
I finally took a ride on The Capital Wheel @ National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD a few weeks ago and I’m so glad that I finally got to check this off of my list! It was fun! Tickets were easy to get online. I purchased a package that included a photo, which I recommend to commemorate the experience. It is a nice keepsake. National Harbor has several parking garages within a fairly short walking distance, which is convenient. There was no long line even though we went on a Sunday during the day. We only waited a few minutes before we were able to board the car. The staff was nice and friendly and helpful making sure that we got into the car safely and enjoyed our ride. Once inside the wheel car, it felt like our own little world. I admit although I’m not terribly afraid of heights, under certain circumstances, my stomach did a little loop as we approached the top, but once we did it a few times, I was fine. I think we went around at least 5-6 times, maybe even more. It felt like about a 20 min ride or so and one that I would definitely do again, particularly at night just to see the view from a different perspective. If you’re in the National Harbor and have some time and don’t mind heights, definitely that a spin on The Capital Wheel. They even have a bar and lounge area on the dock underneath the wheel if you want to grab a drink or quick snack. The menu limited. There are plenty of restaurants and places to eat in walking distance for a more substantial meal. It was so cool to see the waterfront and area from above. It definitely gives you a sense of floating in the sky just for a little while.
My kiddos and I absolutely enjoyed ourselves on the Capital Wheel! Not only are the staff kind and happy to help, the pods were air conditioned, cold drinks were up for sale should you want to sip a beverage while you soak in the views over the harbor. We had no wait time, spent $55 bucks for myself and two children. We were able to purchase our tickets and head up the ramp to ride! The experience was worth the price. We watched as a few boats sailed by, planes in the sky, it moved at a slow pace but not to the point where it was too slow. The entire ride lasted about 12-13 minutes. When it ended the kids and I were like “Nooooooo” lol it was a cool experience. We went later afternoon, on a weekday. I highly recommend you experience The Capital Wheel! Also, lots of walkable bites nearby, and ice cream!
The Capital Wheel offers a fun and relaxing experience with beautiful panoramic views of the Potomac River, National Harbor, and D.C. skyline. The ride is smooth and the enclosed gondolas are comfortable and climate-controlled, making it enjoyable year-round. A great spot for tourists or a casual outing!
Unbelievable excitement. I went for my birthday. Friends cannot believe I took the ride alone. The view is amazing. It will be more than you expect so get ready. There is a point where you see nothing but the Potomac. At night it's so beautiful. They are really good with the safety procedures. The area has a bar it's close to restaurants and "the Great Awakening". Take the ride!❤️

On a snowy day, I visited Tanger Outlets at National Harbor, and it felt like stepping into a winter wonderland of shopping bliss. The snow gently falling around the beautifully designed outlet added a magical touch to an already fantastic experience. What truly stood out was the serenity of the place. Despite the chilly weather, it was incredibly peaceful, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. The array of brands at Tanger Outlets is impressive, to say the least. From high-end fashion to everyday essentials, there’s something for everyone. I found some incredible deals at the factory outlets, making it a shopper’s paradise. It’s not just about the discounts; it’s the quality and variety that make it a must-visit. Whether you’re looking for the latest trends or classic staples, this place has it all. What made my visit even more memorable was the atmosphere. It’s a place where you can enjoy your shopping without feeling rushed or crowded, even on a bustling weekend. The snow added a cozy vibe, making it a day to remember. For anyone looking for great deals and a peaceful shopping experience, Tanger Outlets at National Harbor is the perfect destination.
Clean and has variety of stores. Surprisingly Great discounts. The only challenge was finding some parking. I've been to many outlet stores and this one was by far the most crowded in a Sunday afternoon. There is not many places to eat within the outlets nevertheless there are some vending machines and bathrooms.
Nice variety of stores with prices that are so so decent. You do have to pay attention because some of these stores charge full price and not outlet prices like H&M. Michael Kors always great prices, American Eagle, you have to watch some items, Nike has good deals and Adidas.
We visit Tanger Outlets about once a month, and it’s always a fun shopping trip. 🛍️ The selection of brands is solid—nothing super high-end, but plenty of popular mid-range and everyday names like Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Carter’s for kids, Nike, Gap, H&M, and even an Estée Lauder outlet with many of its beauty brands. Our go-to stops are Calvin Klein, Express Factory, and Carter’s. The discounts are much better than what you’d find at regular mall stores like Tysons, though keep in mind most items are last season’s styles rather than the latest collections. Some stores also offer military discounts, which is a nice bonus. The outlet is set up in an open-air, village-style layout. On a nice day, it’s a pleasant place to walk around, but in bad weather (rain, cold) it’s not as convenient. There’s a food court with decent variety, plus Starbucks, and the restrooms are clean and family-friendly with changing tables—super helpful if you’re visiting with kids. Overall, it’s a great spot to score deals on everyday clothes and shoes, with plenty of popular brands to choose from. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for good discounts and don’t mind shopping last season’s finds.
Low stress shopping! Very convenient at off hours. Get what you need, get in, get out. Clean and safe, with real security. Bonus: cake in a jar vending machine next to Bath & Body Works!
Great Tanger outlet had a lot of stores that I like to go visit. I was able to get to a puma store. They are not everywhere so this was great that they had this store.. I found everything I pretty much need it and will return here again to shop.
It's a great place for shopping and a lot of the stores have great deals . The only downside side is that it can get quite busy and crowded during the day on the weekends. Also after a long day of shopping their isn't many food options at the outlets luckily less than a 5 min drive is the national harbor with plenty of places to eat and more shops
Outdated outlet, but there is a great choice of brands to select from. It opens at 10 am, there are some vending machines available, restrooms as well as benches to rest while visiting all those shops. There are not many options available for lunch, but it's fine. It has a big parking lot and it's accessible by bus too. We managed to find some nice promotions.

A great getaway, lots of places to eat. Close to The MGM Casino and The Outlets for shopping. Lots of hotels to pick from and great restaurants. Overall a great spot for a quick getaway.
Its a beautiful scenery, good place to hang out with family & friends. I saw an accident because its tons of traffic & they had noone directing traffic until almost midnight. The other downside knowing its the 4th of July & such a beautiful day & night they made the decision to not have fireworks, that was very disappointing for so many people.
Fun giant wheel, carousel ride. Beautiful walkway on the water. Clean restrooms... bring your own chairs, mat n enjoy the movie/ concerts on the open stage area. Carousel ride for $7 for unlimited number of rides. Area to sit and chill. Benches with umbrella near the carousel, just benches on the walkway n nearby area facing the water. Beautiful and calm place to hang out. Rental Water rides, scooter. Beautiful sunset
Such a fun place to visit. Absolutely beautiful at sunset.
Lovely place to visit! So many places to eat!!
Beautiful harbor. Great location to grab a boat and go fishing or cruise. Wonderful spot to take in a great outdoor movie as well. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and parking isn't bad. Bathrooms could be cleaner and the parking for the disabled) Military should be free.
Beautiful location. The Christmas tree show was great. Very clean. Great place to just sit and enjoy the views.
Nice place to spend the day. We had a great time. The weather was spectacular. The sights were amazing. The food was delicious. The awakening, a figurine monument of sorts displaying what looks to be a huge man waking up from a deep sleep under the sand. Lol. Crazy concept but pretty darn cool too. We paid $45 for the two of us to ride the huge ferris wheel... that price also included two free photos. The ride took about 8 mins and idk how many times we went around. We took alot of photos of the views up there and of ourselves while moving back and forth on the little seats in the shuttle compartment. My anxiety started to creep its little head out when I thought about how long it may have been since the entire ride was inspected for cracks lol. At the same moment, they stopped us and it was our turn to exit. That was close lmfao. The ferris wheel was definitely the coolest part but overall , the national harbor is a great place to spend the day.

It's all about Peeps and candy. Lots of Peeps and other candy brand items as well as candy. Good package and bulk buy deals. It can get crowded but worth the trip. Do get a pic with the Peep VW out front. Super fun. And if you didn't know, most of the candy is #glutenfree so it's safe for celiac diets.
This is great little novelty shop to stop in. The people were nice and the store is so colorful and fun. It's a great place to grab a novelty sweet snack!
Cool place to go inside. Felt like a kid all over again on Easter, just waiting for a sugar high. They do have several items, just not candy. The smell in side is out of this world.
This place is worth stopping by to look at their merchandise. They have big peep bunny stuff animals. They have flavors of peeps I didn't even know existed like sour watermelon, root beer and celebration cake.
- staff wasn't that friendly, at least to me and my girl - place was clean - prices a bit high - nice little store overall - had a good selection of things - even know I'm not a big fan of the place I'd recommend to check it out
The staff helped me out with getting sweets for my family. (They have a wide palette for candy) The store is colorful and a lovely place to wander around in. Really loved this place and will return to it when I come back to the Harbor! 💗
Who doesn't love peeps!! Before we even got to the national harbor we had plans to come here. Little did I know they also had a large amount of Mike & Ike Candy! Free unlimited samples...SO of course i tried them all. The staff was friendly and prices were average. Dont forget to walk outside to take a picture in front of the peeps car!
A fun little store, definitely worth a pop in, and chances are you'll leave with a sweet treat.

Such an amazing experience. The actors who play Pirates did a really great job. They had so many games for the children. My son really like squirting the water at the ”bad" pirate who drove his boat around our ship. We got a Groupon so the whole experience was a great price too. I highly recommend.
Very cool experience for kids to be a pirate for a day. There is a survivor shop if you want to buy swords or pirate gear but they provide a pirate costume and tattoos. The kids sing and dance. The staff is very friendly. They have cannons for the kids to squirt water at a bad pirate who is trying to take over the ship. Don’t forget to bring cash for a tip!
I was able to use the Groupon and used the savings to tip the staff. They are enthusiastic and do an incredible job. My 8 and 5 year old boys had a great time. There is a small part covered part of the boat making it tolerable with the hot sun and have cold water on board.
Something different to do in the DC Metro area. My 5 year old seemed to enjoy it. I would maybe change the script a little bit to get more involvement from all the kids. Overall well worth the price and plenty of other things to do while waiting for the boat.
Amazing people! We were supposed to meet my daughter's girl scout troop for the cruise but lines were crossed and it was canceled without me knowing. I had already bought tickets for my son and I and they ended up comping my daughter's ticket. The whole crew is full of energy and made it so fun and lively for the kids. Make sure you bring some cash to tip about 4 crew members.
It was good for the kids it rained on badly though. Trip was cut short
Gave my son a birthday party on the daytime family cruise with a group of about 25 (kids and adults). Its great for the 4-8 age range, would be slightly cheesy for older kids. Its great that you can bring your own food and snacks on the ship. There isn't a defined staging area for your items so I would recommend some "quick grab" items if your planning on a party. Very reasonably priced with the groupon they were offering at the time.
If weather is a concern for you, then don't book this cruise. Management WILL NOT re-schedule for your convenience UNLESS there is lightening/thunder or the coast guard deems sailing too risky. Unfortunately, the weather was very cold, windy and rainy on the day that was scheduled for my grandson's 4th birthday party aboard the Relentless. The crew tried very hard to make the party a success, but it was truly not worth the time, work or money.

This place is so much fun! The piano players have a ton of energy, really interact well with the audience, and have great voices. We sat at one of bar rail tables. We thought we'd be upstairs but we were downstairs. It wasn't bad. In fact, I preferred it over the crowded main floor. However, the wooden bar stool seats were extremely uncomfortable. The bar staff was cool and made great drinks. We got the June Bug and the Peach Punch! They were pretty pricey for the size. They were $14 a piece. Both tasted amazing; very fruity and refreshing. We didn't order any food, so I couldn't tell you how it tasted. But the vibe was great and music plentiful!
Could not find any open street parking on weekend evening. There was a parking garage within the street block behind the buildings off Mariner Passage. The store entrance located on the left and exits on the right. Received warm welcome upon walking in, and there was check-in table on the left. There were two baby grand pianos and a full size drums set on the stage. The TVs played the event photos in rotation. There was a full bar and the soft drinks were as expected. The self serving food bar had good variety. The birthday cakes were showcased and celebrated in front of the kitchen doors.
We've celebrated several occasions at Bobby McKey's. It is always fun: the live show and entertainment, the photo booth, and the environment. Huge shout out to the host (Lynnet), who I was communicating with about our reservation. Lynnet replied to the emails right away, answered questions, and assisted with our requests. Thank you Lynnet and thanks to the performers for making the night fun and entertaining!
One of the best late night activities I've ever experienced. Great vibes from the performers and attendees. Drinks were decent. Would absolutely return and can't wait to do so.
Super fun place. Went there a couple of times during my attendance at a nearby conference. Staff are very attentive. Entertainment is engaging and fun!
Absolutely a blast - our server Kaela was totally in tune with each of our orders, even amidst all the chaos. Come prepared with cash/extra money in the bank, the pianists are more like to okay your request if it comes with ~10$ (Venmo and cash accepted), but they WILL do it justice! A fantastic, fun night out, service and drinks were timely and accurate :) ❣️
The dueling pianos are amazing the artist that perform are top notch and know a good variety of songs to keep every music lover engaged! If you are looking for a great night out with friends or loved ones I would add this to your list!
We spent a bachelorette party here this past weekend. The atmosphere was fun, and the artists are very talented. However, my one-star review is based on the misleading description of how song requests work. The website mentions that the show is “all request,” but it does not mention that requests are essentially ignored unless you tip a significant amount—usually $20 or more. Lower tips were even joked about by the performers (for example, comments about how they “won’t play for $5”). The waitress also mentioned that the $5 request we made, would likely not be played. (After we had already spent the $5) Most of the night, only high-dollar requests were played. Considering we had already paid $29 per person to get in, we expected that our song requests would at least have a fair chance of being played. The website/Google Description states: “Each night at Bobby McKey’s Dueling Piano Bar, two to four piano players take your requests and provide entertainment like no other venue near Washington D.C., Virginia, or Maryland. Our dueling piano bar comes to life each night with all-request live music and improvisational humor on National Harbor's Fleet Street.” I believe the venue should make it very clear that unless you’re willing to spend another $20+ per song, your requests will not be played. Transparency about this policy would help guests set appropriate expectations.

A Night to Remember at Public House! We celebrated our Christmas dinner with coworkers at Public House, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the music set the perfect tone for the evening. When the DJ stepped in, he completely elevated the vibe taking it to another level with an amazing music selection that had us all wanting to stay until 2 AM! The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. The customer service was top notch attentive, friendly, and accommodating, which made the night even better. We truly had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to coming back for round two. If you’re looking for great food, an unbeatable atmosphere, and an unforgettable night, Public House is the place to be!
First time here, and I can say I'm impressed! The steak and cheese is absolute perfection. The bread is nice and crispy, not soggy at all! This IS the best steak and cheese I've had (I've been to Philly!!) The drinks are STRONG, are a little high in price, until you get yours! We'll worth it. The burger tastes like it's straight from a grill. Nice smoky charred taste. If you're around the national harbor, i definitely suggest stopping by this place.
It's been a long time since I visited Public House, National Harbor. When we arrived, we were seated at a table, and we had to scan a code to place an order. Not everyone is doing apple Pay or debit cards, so we called someone over to take our orders. We were paying cash and ordered what we wanted to eat that night. The steak tacos and Thai chili wings were good. It's been a while, so it was different experiencing security checking elderly people and others at the restaurant late hours. I enjoyed the dj, and music was a vibe during the night.
Love the food, great portion and good quality. I loved the fries and my sandwich and burger was delicious! Simple beef and cheese! I give it 3 stars becuase the service was very blah... I came in, they sat us down and asked us to use the QR and that was it. Besides getting a water and my food brought to me, there was zero service. The servers were more interested in chit chatting at the bar and hanging out. There was literally myself and another old couple. There was little excuse not to give us any attention. Never got my water refilled and I luckily bought my own from CVS down the street earlier... I gave no tip and thought this pay yourself and order thing is awesome becuase there is zero guilt and there was no face to face. I just paid my bill on the app and walked out. Servers and staff didnt even notice me walk out as they were so busy chatting... disappointing at best~ The bar is technically near the front door, so yeah, its amazing how distracted they were.
We came to National Harbor on a Friday back in December just to wonder around and ended up eating here as everywhere else was full, and it was wonderful. it’s a very causal but pleasant environment. They have a QR code for you to scan and open your own tab and close whenever you’re finished, which I enjoyed greatly as we were not rushed to finish and our order was not messed up. The food came quickly and we were brought water as well. The manager walked around to each table at one point to ask everyone how everything was going, which I appreciated. They had a very nice variety of music, different pop and rap artists, and they had many different programs on the televisions especially sports. I found it to be a delightful experience despite what the other bad reviews are saying. I greatly enjoyed not being bothered every 5 minutes like other places that are trying to flip the tables and rush you out. If you need something, there are always people walking by. We had to ask for another set of silverware, and we did not have a problem getting service for that. This place is definitely unique in how they operate compared to a traditional restaurant which is why I think some people don’t like it because they want that service, but I greatly appreciate and enjoy it because of how it is run differently and will definitely be back. Kudos to Public House National Harbor!!
Good food and beer, they're running a table based toast system for splitting checks and doing orders. You have to log in on your phone to order, it's nice and novel, but I think i prefer the human interaction. It can be difficult to flag someone down if there are issues or if you need someone. Overall, great burgers
The food was great! It came out in a reasonable amount of time, was cooked properly, and was quite flavorful. Sadly, the service was severely lacking. While.pur food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time, no one came to check in on us. We were a party of 3 but only received 2 place settings and even though I asked multiple people for a third, we never received it. Sadly, we will likely not be returning.
Terrible experience with my team trying to eat there for lunch on a weekday afternoon. I understand it was busy, but we were seated as soon as we walked in so it couldn't have been that busy. First, we had no server. The hostess said to scan the QR code to order and pay. Fair enough. It would have been nice to have an option but oh well. All five of us had our orders in the system within 2-3 minutes. In about 40 minutes, one of us got her plain grilled cheese sandwich. In another 20 minutes, one more sandwich arrived and a cold grilled cheese. So we'd been there an hour and 3 of 5 orders had been delivered. The last two orders never made it. An hour and twenty minutes in and we had to leave to get back to work. Of course there was now a long line of customers doing the same thing and waiting to get refunded. There are a LOT of restaurants at National Harbor. Do yourself a favor and choose a different one. The only positive from this experience is now that I've tried eating at Public House, I'll never have to try again.

100% recommend! Lots of food options! $1 bull rides! Tons of tvs! Pork chops, salmon and corn! Chips and queso! 2 ft tall 3 inch thick pretzel and cheese! 1 block from Gaylord hotel and convention national harbor! Coconut shrimp and sweet potato’s fries! Sweet Chili sauce and bbq sauce for the fries! Salmon and shrimp pasta was delicious! Tons of great food options!
Date night with wife for our month anniversary celebration from being married. Walking inside it seemed enjoyable. There’s plenty of televisions and a bar. There’s bull riding and music. That alone is the best part of our experience there. The food was horrible! I ordered a steak & cheese, it was dry and no flavor. As a cook I could tell it was warmed in a microwave or an oven until the cheese slightly melted on top. It was extremely small for my taste so I ordered extra meat. My wife had a shrimp and chicken Alfredo and she said immediately that it was horrible! Her exact words. It was runny and the chicken was as if it was dry and pulled. Our appetizer was nachos. It was also not good. This is a place for people whom drink and just need something on their stomachs. No flavor whatsoever. Our Lemonade was cool. Women were allowed to ride the bull with skirts on, which made me and my wife uncomfortable while we attempted to make the best of our bad experiences. We quickly asked for check not finishing our meals, and was over charged for our meals. I was charged 3 times for my steak & cheese. The waitress did it in a way most people wouldn’t have caught it. She put 2 of them together as one order than 1 separate. Like a steak & cheese cost $28 by itself and $15 for extra meat! That might work with the drunk crowd, but I was extremely pissed! After alerting the waitress she semi corrected the bill! After straightening it, we left but not before stopping by the restrooms which was filthy! Trash and toilet paper everywhere, with the smell of urine in the air. Oh what a night. We left and enjoyed ourselves better just sitting in our truck talking. I would not recommend this place to my enemy. I usually am not this harsh, but this is the exact and honest truth.
Overall this was not a pleasant experience. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good, actually, they had great burgers. The hostess staff were good, they seemed confused about table availability, but were quick to get us seated, once it was figured out. Once seated, the service started out good, but over the course of the meal, it deteriorated drastically. We ordered an appetizer, four burgers with a side of wings, and some adult beverages. The appetizer was prompt, but there was a lag between dishes. When the burgers finally came out they were, as stated, delicious. They seemed confused as to who order what, and we just asked to give the name of each one she we could say where it went. We never received the wings. As for beverages, they were quick to run dry. My wife was asked if she wanted a refill, but I never got the opportunity, I eventually when to the bar and ordered my own drinks, separately from my meal. Which, I’d like to add, the bar staff were amazing! And the cocktails were very good. When the meal was over, the waitress seemed annoyed. When we asked to have the wings removed from the check, she stated, “you never ordered wing, at least not from me.” Which didn’t matter, so long as I wasn’t charged. Now what annoyed me the most, is the automatic 18% tip they add to the bill. It’s in the taxes portion of the bill, which I didn’t see until she ran my card. Normally I review my bill and add whatever tip based off of the subtotal, never did I think to look for an added tip, unless I’m with a large party.
The appetizer platter we had was a good deal and everything on it was good. Atmosphere first it took a while for the hostess to appear and a little longer to get us seated. Don't know why. The place was not that crowded. Once seated all was good.
Good service even when it's busy. We loved the decor and the fun vibe. We sat at an indoor table near the street, but there wasn't any traffic noise. Two of us shared an appetizer platter for lunch, and still had leftovers.
Showed up between lunch and dinner with a large group. The wait staff are very helpful. Food is also good, but there is a limited selection (bar food really.) However the (handicap accessible) bathrooms on the first floor were either out of order or extremely filthy. The second floor bathroom was very clean, but people had to walk up the stairs. To our disappointment, the bull was out of order.
1 star taken away from initial experience through the door. We almost left. BUT the #1 STAR was Robyn. She single handedly worked the entire bar and the enclosed patio. The Peach Side Car she made was Perfection and she was so patient with my indecisive soon to be 5 y/o. My daughter chose apple sauce over fries (even tho I knew she wouldn't eat it). Robyn noticed and brought my baby a birthday treat and I never mentioned her birthday. She took notice of her birthday pin. It's those little things like attention to detail and personality. Robyn's got it.
Whiskey Barrel Pork Chops tasted amazing! Sides are on the small side but adequate. Nosier environment but nothing you can't talk over, service was good and prompt. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

I came to visit for a conference and I swear it’s going to be hard to leave. This spa is so calming, with extremely attentive and caring staff, and several great ammenities such as a whirlpool, steam, and sauna. Jamilah then gave me one of the best massages I have ever had. She was kind, ensured I was comfortable, and provided me with just what the doctor ordered. Jamilah was so good that I told her if I was a billionaire I would steal her back to Ohio with me. If you are in National Harbor, come treat yourself. The people, atmosphere, and complimentary mimosas are waiting for you.
The 50-minute hot stone massage is heaven sent! The spa is very clean, robes come in multiple sizes, the staff is extremely friendly and professional, and the mimosas are delicious!😋 I will DEFINETLY return!
Do not book here! If I could give zero stars I would! I booked a prenatal massage for my pregnant wife , she couldn't make it to the appointment so rescheduled. They still charged us before even getting the service and said that it's only to guarantee your service and assured us that this is the only way to reschedule.. Wife couldn't make it to new appointment we called many times to reschedule and kept getting sent to voicemail with no call back. They charged us gratuity $40 for a service that we never did + the charge of the service. How do we get charged for a service we never got???? The manager avoided us for the longest and when she finally spoke to my wife , said she never spoke to us and would give us a discount for a new service while we didn't even get what we paid for! Absolutely horrible experience , loss of $250 , unresponsive team or management and zero cooperation with a pregnant woman even though its a female based team. Absolutely disappointing!
Gaylord should really be ashamed for hosting such a subpar facility. My husband and I came to Relâche Spa for anniversary massages, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve ever had, especially for what we paid. There were signs posted everywhere listing a variety of amenities available by request, but several of the items we asked for weren’t even available. Before my massage, my therapist asked if I had any problem areas. I mentioned my shoulders and quads, not realizing that meant the rest of my body would be completely ignored. No attention was given to my hamstrings, calves, glutes, or feet—just my arms, quads, and shoulders. I knew something was off when I was asked to flip over before my lower body was even touched. To make matters worse, the front desk attendant showed zero interest in our feedback. As my husband began speaking, she interrupted by handing us a receipt for nearly $500 before I could even explain my concerns. When I did share, she just looked puzzled and said, “Oh, I’ll let them know.” Based on the other reviews I’ve since read, that seems to be the standard response here. Honestly, I was livid. My husband planned a thoughtful surprise, and the experience was completely underwhelming. For the price we paid, we could have had a far better experience at Massage Envy.
Absolutely disappointing experience for the amount of money paid. My wife and I typically go to resorts and get massages through the year. Whether somewhere tropical or not, a massage is something that we’re used to. That said, we know the difference between a good massage and a bad one. This one was definitely the worst experience thus far. We are celebrating our anniversary and decided to do a staycation this weekend at the Gaylord at the National Harbor. I Figured we’d finish the experience with something nice for the both of us so massages were on the menu. The facility was nice. Dry and wet saunas and a whirlpool were available but we didn’t bring bathing suits so we decided not to use either. Excited for the massage but afterwards, it left us both asking did we get robbed? I paid for full body massages for both of us but when I asked my wife how was it, she said she just barely massage my back and arms. Didn’t touch my legs, calves or feet. She exposed them but didn’t touch them. I told her about my experience and she was like “Nope. Nothing like that. It wasn’t even as good as the massages in the middle of the mall.” Obviously the folks that walked us back to the dressing rooms knew something was up because when I walked out, they asked how was it. I explained it wasn’t good and they both said, “we heard.” Maybe they were listening when my wife and I were talking about it afterwards or maybe the masseuse were talking about it but they both suggested we tell the folks in the front. I waited for my wife to come out and relay her experience and she was told, “oh, well maybe she (Valessa the “masseuse”) was having an off day”, then processed to shove the receipt in our face. I’ve paid a fifth of the price I spent here and got better results. Note, I wasn’t expecting the best, but I definitely didn’t expect the worse. Complete let down to end our anniversary weekend and the neglect from the front desk associate felt both dismissive and disrespectful. I would definitely suggest getting a massage somewhere else. Save your money, and get better service from anywhere else.
I just visited for my 40th birthday and I would definitely return. Excellent service, calm atmosphere, amazing message treatment, and friendly staff. They got our appointments a little confused but it turned out alright in the end and ultimately, the experience made my birthday amazing!
I had a nice relaxing few hours here following a big business meeting. I enjoyed my Pedicure with Sunny, a treatment with Jessica, and a massage with Lee. Key was also excellent at the front desk. Everyone was lovely. I felt cared for.
My friend and I enjoyed our time at Relache Spa. Im from out of town and wanted to decompress. The service was exceptional. Lea was beyond hospitable and incredibly attentive to our needs. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. my friend and I observed how collaborative the staff is. It’s like an harmonious atmosphere where everyone is diligent in making sure that every area is well stocked and fully functional to enhance each guest experience. I plan to return when I visit Maryland again.

This was a good choice for our group of about 250-300 people. Two story club at the top of the Gaylord Hotel National Harbor. It has two dedicated elevators from the lobby. The food at our event was good, as was the music DJ. There is an outdoor deck on the corner so views are West over the Potomac to Alexandria and North to the MGM Casino and Washington DC.
Currently has an 80s theme and it's a very nostalgic and fun atmosphere. Bamm-Bamm Absolut, Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice, Fruity Pebble Infused Syrup Cream *looks fun but did not remind me of fruity pebbles, pretty disappointed Lost Boys Jameson, Blood Orange Juice, Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, House Made Grenadine *this was dispensed from an IV bag so that was fun to watch but the drink was lackluster Talk To Me Goose Mezcal, Green Chartreuse, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur,  Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice *served in a martini glass with a cute garnish of a paper plane but this drink was just meh The bartenders were great, atmosphere was fun, definitely lots of Instagrammable areas and a fun indoor and outdoor space. Worth a one time visit but I would probably skip their cocktails. They're fairly expensive and not very good which seems to be the theme for all pop-up/theme bars.
FIRE whoever was playing music on Friday night during katsucon 2025. Dying would have been a kinder fate
Note: Despite what is posted on the Gaylord National website, non-hotel guests and non-convention goers are welcomed into this space without any requirement of cover charge or affiliation to the event. Additionally, the hotel staff does not enforce a vaccine requirement in this space. Hotel staff does not enforce mask-wearing in this space, so you may need to do it yourself. Hotel staff did a good job of auditing the space, roughly around every 15 minutes, to ensure ice was available and used drinks were picked up. It is a fairly secure nightclub with many cameras throughout. VIP lounge entrance has several nestled areas to get away from the action, and to talk to people. Can't speak on drinks but I'm sure they're expensive. Bathroom views however are some of the best. You can see the Washington Monument from here, as well as additional landmarks. Sound system was great. The miniature displays on the wall needed a license to display video, which Pose didn't renew due to being shut down for over a year. This made the venue less than perfect, but we were able to manage by bringing in our own equipment. Overall, a good space to hold an event. Centralized location in the hotel means its an easy find and it's close enough for any kind of immediate deliveries or assistance by the hotel.
I visited the location at the Gaylord with a friend. I mentioned to the manager that I wanted to have an 80’s Happy Hour there. They said we had to bring our own food because they didn’t provide food. It was 8 of us. I brought food and they wouldn’t allow us to eat it because they said it was “too much food” and the food wasn’t purchased from the Gaylord. No one said the food had to be purchased from the Gaylord. It was pretty empty. The drinks are super expensive and you don’t get much alcohol. I had 4 drinks and I’m so not a drinker. But I didn’t really feel a buzz. The environment was clean and truly instagram worthy. Most of the people there were there just to look around and take photos. The staff was not friendly and very cold. One of the bartenders kept leaving the bar to go chill with her date. She seemed to have an attitude. The Manager kept staring at us after we put our food away, per their request. It was like they were waiting for us to take the food back out and so they could tell us to leave but we were the only ones buying drinks there. I might try that place one more time but for the $24 dollar parking fee and $17 dollar drinks it’s really not worth it.
DJ placement was super awkward, people were trying to dance by the dj but the space was so close to the stairs and a walkway. The speakers are pretty good at making the music decently loud all around though. The view from the balcony is great and the lighting is fun. LEAVING AT CLOSING IS A NIGHTMARE. They kept yelling “make your way to the elevators and leave” but there was a massive line as the elevators were slow or not all functioning. So we were just harassed by loud speakers again and again telling us to leave when we couldn’t. Started to feel claustrophobic real fast and they would not let anyone use the stairs as the were emergency only. Leave well before closing. Not sure if this was at all effected based on the convention running at the time or if this is normal.
It was amazing. We took a trip down nostalgia lane. Manager and staff friendly. Great for photos it's like a lounge/selfie museum. Dj gave a variety of 80's hits.. Drop in you will not be disappointed.
I drove from Baltimore to come here last week because it said it was open… it wasn’t opened and when we let the concierge know they seemed to have not care. Very unfortunate. Was looking forward to coming and promoting the lounge on my travel page. Update your availability.

Boat rental service

Slide 1 of 8
They are open Thursday -Sunday. This is a smaller location, so reserve online. You can kayak towards the Anacostia river. There is old Navy buildings and going under bridges is fun. Season pass can work if you have a family that plans to kayak a lot. Season pass allows you to pickup kayak from any location.
This place has kayaks and peddle boats right off of one of the small peers at the National Harbor in Maryland. Renting a peddle boat was almost $32 an hour with taxes and I thought that was a little pricey but my boys had so much fun it turned out to be worth it. They provide the life preservers and they give you guidelines on how far out you're allowed to peddle. And close at 5 not 7:30
Great location for a 1 hour rental! We did single person kayaking for an hour, and it was a great area. It was not packed on Sunday early afternoon. This allowed SUP-ers and pedal boats room to paddle, and kayaks could maneuver. The kayaks were much more comfortable compared to other rental companies, with a higher/ more supportive seat. The life vests don't reek and are full of padding. Highly recommend, especially with a Groupon.
Each time my fam stops by, we are told nothing is available, everything is reserved & we walk away shaking our heads at the dozen or so crafts just sitting on the water (paddle boats, kayaks, etc). ZERO STARS - and no they are not particularly pleasant in telling you NO to all their crafts just sitting there either. Close up shop if you don’t want the business & need to be unpleasant to people asking to give you their money.
I'm a big fan of Boating in DC, but we had a bad experience at National Harbor. TL;DR: If you rent a swan or dragon boat, double check that it works well enough to get you back to the dock before you get too far out. Our family of four rented a swan boat on May 2nd around 11:30am. The light wind and current was enough to carry us away from the dock, but no amount of peddling could get us back. We eventually drifted to shore where my wife and two small kids got off.  I hopped in the water and started pulling the boat along the shore toward the dock for maybe 15-20 minutes before the staff noticed me. At that point Ryan, who seemed to be the owner or manager, arrived. He  hopped on the swan boat and spent another 10 or so minutes pedaling but he also couldn't get the boat back to the dock. Another staff member, Tyrion, then came out in a much leaner and faster peddle craft to tow the swan boat. That got us back to the dock in a minute or less. Ryan insisted the swan boat was brand new and not broken. He thought the wind was just making the boat move (very) slowly. None of the staff were particularly friendly or concerned about customer service. No apologies were offered. This was unusual in my experience with Boating in DC. I've rented boats from their other DC locations and found the staff very friendly and helpful.
Staff was friendly and helpful. We rented a paddle boat. 1st boat was a "newer" one, it only wanted to turn right and wasn't very good at that lol. The second "older" boat was the "headless swan". It maneuvered well and at least went the direction you told it to go. Paddle boating area at this location is very limited and nothing to see that you can't see from shore. Not sure if the kayaks have the same restrictions for use area. But I would recommend the kayaks over the paddle boats. Granddaughter was not impressed, she said no stars lol.
I called this business 4 times today and got hung up on the customer customer service is trash I spoke to a woman by the name Karen whom was brusque I asked to speak to a manager I was put on hold for over 15mins never being able to speak to management. On top of that never got the chance to actually get information in regards to renting. Customer service is the first line of communication it should be better.
So much fun! We used a pedal boat for an hour, it was great and the guys that were working there were friendly, welcoming & knowledgeable.

Love this place. It’s a big restaurant, with a Cool chill vibe that includes Artwork for display and purchase. The wine list is extensive and great. The food is even better. Love the service (at the bar) . Must go rating!
The event venue is super unique and the food is wonderful, full of style and flavor. The dishes are globally inspired and I tell you it's hard to find a place like this here . A great option for those looking to host an event or just have a good time w good food/drinks here in Arlington. p.s.: I'm a local fan.
My friend and I recently went here for her bday. What a fun atmosphere as I love art, and been wanting to taste their menu items. We went during happy hour, and the food was absolutely excellent! I am not a fan of oysters, but oh my their sauce was so delicious that I ordered more! Everything we ordered other than the vegetable chips were tasty! Customer service was impressive! Would recommend this place and look forward to our next visit to savor different menu items.
We enjoyed dinner and dancing at "Whino". The food was fairly good. Drinks were nice as well. Service was excellent. However..... The part we didn't like was a mandatory 20% gratuity tip that was put on our bill because it was an event. They charged extra to anyone that ordered food but never explained this before we ordered. We were only a party of 2 people which made no sense why we would pay extra just because of the venue. Mind you the venue wasn't free. We paid money just to enter. I felt cheated because they are just bleeding you out for money at this point. I mentioned this to the establishment and they stood by the extra fee. I won't be going back. My rating is 1.5 out of 5.
Very cool place, great location in Ballston, easy parking and very tasty food. Tuna poke: 100/10 Octopus dish: 100/10
I arrived early to a dinner reservation I made for 9pm for what I assumed would be a lovely evening of dinner and drinks with my soulmate. I was met by a woman who had just left the set of Desperate Housewives who informed me that there was a private event going on and that dinner would not be served to peasants like myself and my date. She also then scanned me with a ray gun and confirmed that my silicone to human flesh ratio was way under the required threshold. After this she told me she doesn’t work at Whino and a host came up to speak with us. What a twist! The host asked us to return at 9pm due to the private event. On our return we entered the nightclub and dodged extras from the Matrix Reloaded left and right trying to make our way to our table. The DJ was playing music so loud he had to be tied to the dj booth (a card table with a tablecloth on it) in order to keep from being knocked from his feet by the sick jams. The host leading us was instantly deafened while walking in front of the speaker as napkins were sent scattering in the air like a flurry of doves. He attempted to seat us 3 feet in front of a speaker in order to eat dinner in a dimension made entirely of extreme decibel torture. To avoid this demise my date and I broke a third story window and used my shirt to rappel to the ground floor outside, making quick work of our escape, which was much less dramatic than the scene inside Whino. *And scene…* No but seriously they should just not accept dinner reservations for their “only 3 tables” if they’re going to have a DJ playing a private party at the same time.
My low rating was for the food. Nothing I ate or saw on the menu was amazing, but I’d return for happy hour and the great service! We came here for our team holiday dinner and the servers/atmosphere were great! The food didn’t do it for me, but everyone that works here is super sweet. They went above and beyond to provide us great service, and it was appreciated. We will definitely be back for happy hour!
I have had the pleasure of dining here a few times. It is mostly shareable small plates. The prices aren’t too bad themselves. At night time, there is a DJ who played some really good music. There are also art works to check out. I loved the vibe and the atmosphere here. Taste-wise, the food was good as well. They give you a decent portion so that you can truly share it. I would definitely dine again!

The French toast platter (French toast, turkey bacon and scrambled eggs) and sausage cheese croissant were excellent! The cook behind the counter took our order and then called the number of our order when it was ready, he was also nice and friendly.
I got a delicious veggie breakfast sandwich on a Kaiser roll here and the service was great. The bun was soft and chewy and the eggs and veggies were fresh and HOT. The hot sauce was more of a vinegar so I may use more next time. Really enjoyed!
Best place for a fresh sandwich. Little cute market.. super amazing service by Omar everytime I stop in.
Potomac Gourmet Market was an adorable bodega. It has a wide variety in the market including wine, beer, snacks, cheese, deli meats, ice cream, and some fresh produce. Their hot breakfast sandwiches until noon which were delicious! They also have lunch and dinner options. The staff was very kind and helpful. The staff said the market was much more crowded on the weekend mornings than it was on weekdays. Would 100% visit here again!
Great staff with an amazing deli, best breakfast option on the national harbor. Walking distance from the Gaylord and other resorts in area.
On my trip to DC with my family, we went here for breakfast, and the food was delightful. The workers are so kind, always starting our days with positivity. I appreciate it so much, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting DC.
Stay away!!!!! I ordered a buttered roll…..was asked if I would like a Kaiser roll…..and toasted, said no thank you just buttered please Got an eye roll from the older male clerk……maybe that isn’t something that is ordered in Maryland Had to pay extra for the butter that was supposed to be included. Got a dry hamburger bun……doesn’t look like Kaiser roll to me!!!! Stay away!!!!! Terrible
If you’re looking for alcohol or ramen you will have a vast selection. For anything else it’s likely hit and miss as many of the grocery shelves were bare.
