Definitely worth it! If you’re hot and tired of the crowded beaches, go here! No real lines for the slides and my son had a blast for hours! Easy to relax and watch kids play. The restrooms did have an odor to them, very similar to going to a public restroom by the boat loading areas. If that odor was gone it would be perfect! The staff is very strict about rules and safety. The concessions are well priced and everyone was friendly.
The Aransas Pass Aquatic Center is one of the nicest city Aquatic Centers in the area. Not only do they have a great kids swimming pool but also have some great slides, rope bridge, and 2 nice professional diving boards. Their staff is very nice and helpful. I appreciated the fact that my young child wanted to slide down the slide and the life guards coordinated together to make sure someone was In the water to ensure their safety. They have fresh water showers a great locker room and a well stocked snack shop. I'll give the pool a 5 star as it was clean and well managed and have amenities other public municipal pools others just do not have. I'll be back for sure.
This waterpark is awesome! I had my two nieces and my nephew for a week- ages 10, 5 and 2 it was difficult to find a activity that worked for all 3 and this place did it! The 10 year old had a great time in the deeper side and the two younger ones had a blast in the kids area. The staff was amazing and kind. Snacks were great and everything was very affordable. Thank you and we will be back!
No outside food is the bummer unless you rent a cabana. Bring your chairs too. Very inexpensive for clean water fun. 2 diving boards and 3 slides. Give early. Later in day gets busy.
We held a private Birthday party and it was spectacular!!! Thr life guards were very attentive. The staff was most accommodating and helpful. Truly a phenomenal experience that we hope to do again!!!
Little bit of a drive, but worth it. 3 different areas. Kiddie pool with slide & water spouts, deep pool with diving boards, & third area has swimming on one end & 3 large slides on the other. Snack Shack & 2 cabana rentals with picnic tables...I definitely recommend booking cabanas way in advance or packing lots of sun screen to sweat out your day fighting for shade.
We love going there! Had my Grandson’s bday party there! I just wish that they would let the ones that reserve for a party, to go in instead of standing in line, but we had a wonderful time!!!
Always very reasonable prices and we always have a great time. We try to go at least once every summer. My kids are soon to be 11 and 14 and they still enjoy it

We recently celebrated our son's first birthday at the historic Rialto Theater, and we had an exceptional experience thanks to the hospitality of Steve and Lulu. They kindly allowed us to decorate the venue a day prior to the event, which made the preparations much easier. The owners have done an outstanding job maintaining the theater, and it boasts a stylish bar area that adds to its charm. We highly recommend the Rialto Theater for anyone seeking a unique and memorable setting for private events or gatherings.
The Rialto Theater comes highly recommended. They regularly host special events, which are free to attend, though donations are welcomed during those occasions. The bar offers reasonably priced items, making it accessible for everyone. Honestly, it feels like the Rialto gives far more than it receives, and that’s exactly the kind of business I’m proud to support. I truly hope they achieve all of their goals and continue serving the community.
Steve and Lulu are amazing people. They reached out to help honor my father without even knowing him or any of us. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything my dad loved about Christmas was carried on. We can’t wait to help more families next year. PS. I LOVE THE OLD COUCH, ITS SUPER COMFY!!!!
We had a Celebration of Life for my Dad. It was perfect. Steve & LuLu are fantastic. The venue was exactly what my Dad would have wanted. I definitely recommend the Photo Booth! Great fun for the kids & adults alike. Cold beer, plenty of space and very reasonable! Nostalgic for those like us who grew up in the area. Please support our local businesses!
Great time with friends listening to jazz & blues. Love this place and hear the catfish at Lulu's food truck outside is great. Serves beer & wine at the bar.
They have a music venue every Sunday from 4-7 . It is live music .Tonight they had the Catfish Blues Band . There is a bar . You can sit in the bar area and there are theater seats also . The theater has good acoustics and the band wasn't too overpowering. There is a food truck where you can get a meal . The staff was friendly and helpful. If you looking for something fun to do, I recommend the Rialto. The band tonight was really good . Overall it was a great experience. Highly recommended.
How lucky for Port Aransas to have this mighty little theater in the community. The new owners are friendly, attentive and have big dreams for this vintage theater. I can't wait to experience what comes next. So far I love what I see!
Stopped here with some friends and had a rew drinks together. The "Blues" live music was good. There was a food truck there but we did not order anything. Service and atmosphere was good.

Had an amazing time with Hector touring the mangroves at Aransas Pass. Hector is very knowledgeable not only about Kayaking but an amazing tour guide with a ton on knowledge about migrating birds and local wildlife. Can't say enough. Thank you Hector for the BEST first time kayaking tour.
We absolutely loved this kayak tour to the lighthouse and back. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the birds, plants, etc. which helped to make the trip enjoyable. So sad about the mangroves dying during last winter - I hope they come back even stronger. We aren't the youngest anymore, so he was patient with us and let us coast when appropriate to take pictures. Lots of birds to see and hear, but super hot - so they all weren't out. I've done several kayak tours before and this was one of my favorites as it was calm for the most part. We did have to cross the channel which was choppy because of the wind, but we made it safely (he said he'd never lost anyone - ha ha!!). They helped us in and out of the kayaks. It was just a really enjoyable time. I will say my poor arms hurt that night, but the next morning I was back to normal. Great, great time - we'd do it again!
I had an incredible time renting kayaks from this place here in Coastal Bend. The staff was super friendly and patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly before we left. The equipment was in excellent condition — clean, sturdy, and easy to handle, even for beginners. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fun outdoor activity in Corpus Christi. Whether you’re an experienced paddler or just want a relaxing cruise on the water, this is a fantastic choice.
Thank you so much for an unforgettable day. You made our trip for our boys group! They had an absolute blast and really learned a lot. Thank you for teaching them about kayaking. An enthusiastic five-star review. Super honest and an incredible customer experience. Highly recommended!!
I have rented with Hector three times now and there’s the reason I keep coming back. He is very sweet and clearly cares about his customers. He does the best to accommodate. This most recent time I did a guided fishing trip and got to know him. It was nice to talk! I would really recommend this company and I look forward to my next time renting from them!
Hector was amazing, not only did he easy our minds about the weather (we woke up to pouring rain and thunderstorms) but he is a amazing guide. We had such a great time. Our group had a range of skill levels. I had never even sat in a kayak. My friends were more avid yakers. With one who kayaks quiet regularly. We all had a great time. Hector was extremely knowledgeable. He pointed out a ton of different wild life. We saw some very rare birds and even saw two Atlantic bottle nose dolphins. You won’t be disappointed best money we spent on this trip. We will definitely be back. Give Hector a call and tell him Adam from Austin sent ya.
We booked a kayak tour with Hector. I appreciated his clear communication prior to and during our tour! He was super friendly and helpful in person too. He was so knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. I will definitely book another tour with him if we come back to Port A! Both of the teens said it was a fun morning. That’s a big win! 😊
A tremendous experience. My man George really made me and my girlfriend feel welcome. From making renting easy, to providing much appreciated insight to the water (and the fishing). Will be back for more fun and would recommend.

A buddy and I went on a gigging trip last night with Captain David and had a blast. The water conditions were not perfect but he kept searching and before long we had our limit. Captain David is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to stick some flounder. Thanks for the trip
What an evening! This guy is a pro. I’ve gigged before plenty, but this man was helping spot flounder that we would have never seen. Professional and you can tell he is the best in the business. If you are even considering another guide service, stop. Book Capt Dave now.
I have had the pleasure of gigging with David a number of times over the past few years. Every trip has been an enjoyable experience. This trip was no different other than the conditions. Water was very murky making seeing fish difficult. That being said we able to get on some fish and still produce a 4 man limit. We took my son and his friend for my sons birthday and David as usual was great with the kids and made sure they had every opportunity to gig some fish. We will continue to use David when we vacation in the area.
I didn’t read reviews or nothing I googled flounder gigging and found Capt. Dave and turns out he is low key badass!!! He works really hard to put you on the fish we had a tough night with wind and murky water and we still limited out in 4 hours along with a couple sheepshead!!! His boat is setup perfect. We had a blast and 10 out of 10 will be back on the water with Capt. Dave super cool guy!!!
This was by far the funnest Gigging trip we have been on. Captain Dave is the most knowledgeable flounder guide I have ever met. He really takes the time to allow you to learn how to gig 'em, so you don't waste time chasing fish and spend more time catching them. I have been on a few other Gigging trips and this is the only one that I feel was worth the money hands down. Dave will make sure you have fish in the boat. No excuses!
Cap'n David is a professional. He's knowledgeable, educational, patient, and he will put you on the fish. He's a guide that you will feel comfortable bringing your wife or a bumcha rowdy guys. Thanks for an amazing experience.
We take at least 2 guided trips a year with our boys all over the country. All types of fishing and this was our first time Giggin’! Dave was SO great!! This is at the top of our list as being one of our favorite family trips. My boys loved it and Dave was engaging and I have to believe the best giggin’ guide in Port A. We highly recommend him and look forward to another trip in the future!
I took my son out for his birthday. After getting skunked on a deep sea trip, this was very redeeming. Moreover, Capt Dave was a great guide. We had a blast! Well worth it.

Great day with Slowride, professional, worked hard to put us on some fish, never gave up. Their cottage was very nice and homie. Family and kid friendly, book a trip, you won't regret it!
Kayak rentals are well priced and well equipped for fishing. The best way to kayak fish without having to buy one and rig it and store it in the garage. Save the garage space for golf clubs and the margarita machine. Rent a kayak here!
Dean Thomas is one of the best fisherman in the WORLD !! If you get the opportunity to fish with him, do it ! Guaranteed the best fishing day of your life !!!!
Knowledgeable guide and all around great guy. The boat is very comfortable to fish from and his ability to find the fish in that area are second to none. Highly recommended
Get your fish on. Fish the flats and nearshore with the best guide I have ever fished with.
Captain Dean was awesome and great with my son
A great guide with tons of knowledge about the area and environment.

Amazing experience, hospitable and knowledgeable crew. I saw and photographed all sorts of birds, and we had dolphins all around the boat during the trip back to shore. I could not have asked for a better time
My wife and I had a great time and although we didn't get to do the beach combing due to bad weather and tides, we still had a great time. My wife even got to drive the boat both on the way out under motor power and on the way back under sail. That made the whole trip worth it to see the smile on her face. We went in late March so the weather was cloudy and cool. Captain Tom made it worth it.
I'm not one to post reviews, but after seeing a negative one here, I felt obliged to negate it. Lot of fake news and alternative fact's in one review claiming that Captain Tom was "arrogant, self absorbed, and unattractive." Nothing could be further from the truth. Captain Tom is a one of a kind gentlemen who provided myself and about 10 of my friends with one of the greatest days of my life. He is a character, exactly who you'd hope to have if you're chartering a boat in a beach town. This guy cares more about his customers than anyone I've ever come across and I have worked in the service industry for 15 years. From the moment we stepped on the boat, he helped us get settled, played music, entertained us while safely navigating us through the channel to a spot where we could anchor up in swim. He then let me take a turn at the helm (with close guidance) for our ride back. Folks, the smile could not be washed off my face for days. As sailor in a past life, I could not have had more fun. I always have a great time with this group of friends, but thanks to Captain Tom, he created the greatest day we've ever spent together. Now, for the attractiveness critique, nothing could be further from the truth. The man is handsome. The name of the company totally checks out. He toes that fine line of rugged handy man with a world of experience and relaxed beach bum looking for a good time. And folks, you've never seen a tan like Captain Toms. Handsome doesn't even begin to describe him. Since that day, four years ago at this point, we've dreamed of going back. Though I live in Texas now, my crew is coming all the way from the east coast, to see Captain Tom again. And you bet we booked him for another afternoon on the water. This time a private cruise. Sure, there will be other beach towns closer to the gang. But, none will ever have anyone like Captain Tom. 12/10 would follow him anywhere
Nice place quiet and very friendly and helpful new owner.
Captain Tom is awesome!!!! We had so much fun! He let us interact with the actual sailing, he told us alot of history and was all around fun as hell! It was a amazing time and we will definitely do it again.
The Handsome Sailor Yacht Club, which had become a bit of a mess is now being cleaned up and is starting to look so much better. The first stages already show a tremendous improvement with the new management. I have been by several times and see the progress each time. So glad to see this!
Great Captain. He is very knowledgeable and very patient. He has some very good sea and sailing stories to tell you. He is very good playing the guitar and singing, I have been on cruises to the Bahamas, this reminded me of a small slice of it, I would recommend him to all!. Book him if you are in the area.
If your looking for a one of a kind experience Capt. Tom is the man for you!! My wife and I along with our 3 daughters and infant son spent several hours out on the water with this self proclaimed king of the seven seas. Lets start out with saying that as shown in his pictures he is a very striking and handsome kinda guy......except that it was assuredly taken a number of years (maybe even decades) and probably 1,000's of nautical miles ago. We arrived at the appointed time and began unloading drinks and snacks. While I was doing that he had requested payment before hand which we had no problem with. Except, we didn't bring exact change so had to give me an extra $10 over. He then laughed and said he usually got a lot more of a tip than that. I've always thought that a tip was earned and usually came after a service and based on the quality of the service. To say the least my wife was taken back and more than a little irritated. I will admit that we were a little nervous upon seeing the "custom" i.e. homemade Catamaran. It really was custom if you take into account that the only thing factory made was the hulls. Everything else was scavenged (as he said). Everything from old decking to the stadium seat that made up the helm. But we headed off into the morning fog with him dinging his bell as we went. The entire sail was spent with us doing all the leg work for him or moving from one seat to another for a multitude of reasons. All the while he adorned us with stories of his life upon the wild untamed seas and all the women he had frolicked with in all the different ports. Actually we heard lots of stories of wild women and flopping boobies along with how his favorite charters are bachelorette parties and how he has them flash people passing his boat to close or fast. He did do some singing for us and told us of his upcoming stardom. But when my oldest daughter started to film him picking and singing on board he said that what he was about to preform had a copyright and not to film it without the appropriate contract....ya, you read that correctly. But making it back in we were relieved to have made it back safely. But was a little shocked when he tried taking the rest of our drinks out of our cooler that we had taken aboard. To say the least we won't be back. Not to mention since then there have been several other instances when we have recapped our experience to people in the local population and don't even get to tell the tale. At the mere mention of the name they already know who we are talking about. It would appear his reputation precedes him....and not just with the ladies.

Great Experience!!! Capt. James is very accommodating. Real pro, even in non idea conditions(windy). Capt. was able to put us on flounder. Limit was a breeze.
I’ve been on quite a few charters. This one was by far the funnest. Capt james is funny and fun to be around but is also very on the ball when the hunt is on, he will find and put you on some fish. Also determined to get you your limit! He’s the best I’ve been around.
Awesome night! James took us to some great spots! We would have easily caught our limits but we bailed early. James was willing to go till one am if we wanted to. All around fun, professional, safe, and an amazing experience! James was super cool with the kids and made our son feel like a master fisherman! Plus we got some great flounder to eat!!
Our guide was not what we expected. We booked 8 people with the understanding that he could find us another boat to accommodate. He left with half of our group before the last half could arrive. He spoke negative about some of our party that could not hit their target. Not a people person. Lied to us several times. Would never book with this guide again. Steer clear
We went out on December 1st with Capt. James looking for some trophy flounder and he did not disappoint. My buddy Jake gigged his biggest flounder (25 inches, 9 lbs). We had a blast and all of our other flounder were over 20 inches. We saw tons of other marine life and James is very knowledgeable about the area as well as marine life. We will be going back out with Capt James again for sure. Thanks for a great time on the water.
Captain James exceeded all of our expectations. He quickly took us to fish and even though it was our first trip, we gigged our limit in two hours. The kindness and patience shown my grandson on this successful trip has me looking forward to many return trips. Thanks, Captain James. M. F. Sutton. Kyle, Tx. Dear Captain James, Thanks for taking me flounder gigging. It was one of the most fun things that I have ever done. Grandaddy and I plan to come back next year. We are going to have a big fish fry for the whole family when we get home. My cousin wants to come next time. Your Friend, Owen W.
A fun and exciting experience orchestrated by an extremely hard working captain. We went on a recent night with a party of 5. The boat easily accommodated our group. Be sure and bring two coolers! One for your drinks and one for the catch-because you will be bringing your catch home. Also, wear long pants/shirts and bring bug spray as the bugs are attracted to the lights. We got our limit and the Captain cleaned and bagged the fish. The trip to the gigging space is interesting and beautiful. If you time it right, you will be on the water right at sunset. The boat itself has an outboard then a fan that pushes you along the shore. Great trip and I'd do it again.
Awesome trip with a great Captain!!!!! Took my dad out on a trip and we had a blast giggin for our first time ever. Capt.worked hard and we were able to get our limit of flounder and sheepshead. Capt. Is a wonderful person and guide and we will be repeat customers. Recommend his services !!!!!! Captain will work hard to produce for you

Awesome experience, Capt Eddie was polite. Patent and an all around great guide. He put us on red fish within a few minutes and we limited by 12pm. Even caught a few bonus trout. Great guide and good guy. You should book him for sure!
Excellent Fishing Charter Service Captain Eddy took us out even though the weather was a little rough and we fished between the storms. He was great with the kids (ages 3&4), ran us around after fishing to show the kids some dolphins then took us back to the dock. Will definitely be back in a couple months to go fishing again.
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!! Great fishing trip! I absolutely loved it, The mates on the boat were really helpful, especially with the kids. We caught a bunch of fish. Some we had to throw back due to size restrictions, but we got several nice keepers, more than we could eat.
customer service is 100% top notch. The Capt knew exactly where they were going and what we would/could catch, and we caught plenty. The equipment is first class all the way.
Had a great time with Ingleside Fishing Charter - Aransas Pass, their professionalism and sense of humor were greatly appreciated! will definitely be back again.

A few friends and I have gone on Captain Gary Tinnerman’s vessels for a couple of decades. He is the only guide we book because of Gary, himself. He brings you to the best spot for the biggest fish, depending on marine conditions (wind/currents). He is the best because he wants you to succeed. Beginners to amateur to advanced, you’ll learn a lot from this man about fishing, boating, and landing fish! Best guide in Texas, maybe anywhere.
My son wanted to fish the bay for his 10th birthday present this May 2022. We loaded up the boat with him and two siblings and had a great time with Capt. Gary. His boat is fast and the kids loved the ride. We all caught fish, the biggest were a beautiful but to big to keep 27" trout and a 30" red fish. The kids had a fine time, even during the slow bits, and gained some great new skills. I should also add, the price was the best out of the handful of places we considered for this trip.
Gary is most productive trout fishing guide I have fished with along the gulf coast in years! Very professional, incredibly informed, instructional and produces results. Highly recommend! Gary's (paraphrased) motto - 'catching is much better than fishing'!
I've fished with Gary for over 20 yrs and have always caught good fish. Everyone that I have taken with me has enjoyed fishing with Gary. If you have kids and want them to learn fishing the right way Gary is the one. I've learned a lot fishing with Gary over the years. I've seen Gary do things to produce fish that I've never seen other guides do. I think he's a natural attractant to fish. Lol! He's the only guide that I've ever been with that will have you catching fish at 530 in the morning and have you back with your limit by 8am. Bottom line if you wanna catch fish and have a good time Gary's the one that'll do it for you.
Gary took 4 of us out and we caught lots of fish when other guides weren’t catching any. He was very professional and took his time to explain everything and show us the proper techniques to land the fish. We will definitely be using him for any future saltwater fishing trips.
I've fished with guides from Port Conner to South Padre. Gary Tinnerman has consistently put us on more good sized limits of fish, for the past 20 years I've been fishing the Bays. I cant begin to count the number of times we hit the docs with nice sized limits, while all the other guides are coming in with half the numbers and half the size. The man knows where to fish and how to get good limits. We drive down from Austin 8 - 10 times each summer and almost always limit out on Trout ( and Red's, if they're anywhere to be found). I wouldn't have stayed with him for 20 years if he didn't produce the kind of limits he has year after year. He's the best......and EVERYONE I've ever sent to him have come back with the same story. C Cashion
Gary Tinnerman is the best guide ever. You will catch fish and he fillets them for you. He may even buy you a beer at the end of the trip! If you're good. Highly suggest this trip !
Captain Gary was prompt in responding. He was knowledgeable about fishing. He was patient and instructed well. It was the best experience and will definitely be using him again!
