Eartha is pretty cool, if you’re in the area it’s worth stopping by. Garmin got rid of the gift shop but the globe is still there, admission is free but it’s only open during business hours. Within half an hour you’ve seen everything.
This is so cool!!! 🌎 I have wanted to come here since I was a kid, and finally made it! It is truly interesting to see such a big globe, and it has an interesting story. I definitely recommend stopping by here and checking it out. Maine has more than lobster 🦞.
This is an awesome place brought to you by the makers of the G1000. The hours on google say till 3:00. But we showed up at 3:30 and it was open. An employee who works there said its open till 6:00. At the very least its not open on the Weekends or Holidays. But this globe is cool. It is 100% accessible: Elevator to all the floors and push button door opener. It has some interesting facts located on the wall. And the bathrooms are nice for the visitors. I saw a lot of employees coming in and out. I can only assume their is a gym in there also. The parking lot has plenty of space.m, and the area is well maintained. The globe spins at a rate of one revolution every few minutes and you get great views from all three floors. Check out this free attraction.
This is something different.. It says "museum," but it's not as one might expect. Of course the main attraction is that huge, moving globe!! You can see from the near by road, but to get the full effect, one should go inside. There is a little deli for food and drink whilst you sit and watch the world go 'round.. It's free to go in and look and no waiting. You can spend as little or as much time as you want just having at it. We stopped by during a Drive From Our Past. My grandmother lived right closer by, but I had moved away decades ago. So, being right there in Yarmouth and driving past it all the time, we stopped in. In fact, it was s great meeting place for all is cousins to meet up at ! We are scattered all over the US and arranged to visit Maine at the same time. Twas a great, nostalgic trip ! PS: right close by is the Muddy Rudder if you're hungry. It's a bit pricey, but great food !
Small but very informative display about geography and mapping in the lobby of an office building. Huge scale model of the home planet. It was surprisingly fascinating. If you like geography or maps it is definitely worth the stop. My wife was mesmerized by it for nearly an hour, and I'm usually the one who likes maps! So glad we added this spontaneous stop to our trip.
Closed today so I only saw from the outside, but it’s huge! Can’t miss it! We have one in MA that used to be the biggest at Babson College. Then Garmin build theirs. So cool!
A large glove of the planet, three stories tall, set inside and it rotates. Pretty nice and eye catching; right off the interstate so we had to stop and check it out. There is a cafe there in the office building this is situated in but it was closed when we arrived.
Great rest stop for kids. Only opened during business hours because it is an office building. Restroom and food available at the Mango Terra Cafe. No tickets needed, just respect for those that work in the building.

It is a lovely park with many picnic tables to relax and have a meal, read a book, or just hang out with friends while listening to the rushing water fall nearby. There is also a beautiful paved trail to walk on by the river.
Nice park with a walking trail. Very well maintained and clean. The views are super gorgeous. They have a decent sized parking lot as well which made it easy to visit.
Lovely hiking trails in Yarmouth Maine. There is a picnic area when you first get in, old ruins of a mill, paper company and lots of dogs and cool pictureque waterfalls. There is also shiny silver mica that can be found in places and ducks and turtles and chipmunks
This park has everything! Trails, history, doggies, preservation, natural beauty and an appreciation for all life. Note: fish ladders are not my favorite solution, because the few can make it all the way up and struggle to survive the journey, I’m not sure if how much better it is than not having one at all, but I’d love to learn more.
Really nice park with long paved and well maintained trail. Enjoyed the walk and some decent birding in June.
Beautiful, very large park. It has plenty of picnic tables. A disabled parking section and disabled picnic tables for the chair bound. Lots of well paved paths, a large, well maintained playground, and it even has waterfalls. It's dog friendly too!!
Very huge park with many different trails. Many different parking lots all free.
Beautiful easy walking trails along the scenic Royal River. And I definitely recommend stopping by Locally Sauced for a tasty bite of real barbeque goodness 😋

Loved it but the beach is full of rocks I got cut by one. It’s too muddy
Great place to go to pick some basic shells.. There was only a couple other people there while we visited.. be sure to hit low tide. The only negative is the traffic noise from the bridge and the large power lines but definitely a great place to check out..
Small Sandy Beach by the bridge. Strong current, small narrow steep path. Best for strong swimmers. Salt water. Free to visit!
Nice, quiet, small beach to relax for a bit. Not much area but lots to explore!
Cute little rocky beach
Photo at the end of the main beach sandbar! Such a quiet and beautiful spot to walk with the beach and sandbars, as qell as the walking trails nearby.
No shade available on a hot day so make sure you bring your own or plenty of sunscreen. Wasn't too crowded even in the heat. Rocky seabed unless you are far out on the point. Nice little beach
Nice beach to go to if you're in the Yarmouth area. It's small, but doesn't have an entrance fee which is nice. It's a pretty rocky beach in general and muddy when low tide. But it's great to go to just to wade around in the water or catch hermit crabs for fun.

I recently held my baby shower here and have only good things to say! Jacob was super helpful throughout the planning process and made everything run smoothly and efficiently. The staff was very attentive and on top of ensuring the buffet trays and drink stations were filled and guests were happy. Would definitely recommend booking your next private event here!
I like it so much, I got a job there! Great golf course. Always in immaculate shape, even when other courses nearby look awful. Good casual food. Quiet bar. GREAT PEOPLE!
Went there with a friend for driving range. They have little cooler at the site to keep drinks cold. Then we went in to the little bar/restaurant for lunch, simple place, not much to say. But food was actually quite good, love the fried mushroom and onion rings. Big potion and tasty, yum yum. Plan to go for breakfast sometime then driving range again to work off the food.
Casual lunch spot, great chili, we find their haddock sandwich w/side of cole slaw perfect. Steak-sub with peppers and mushrooms was A+memorable. We ask for sourdough bread and no cheese and it's always delivered with accuracy. Quality food and friendly atmosphere. Outside porches on nice warm days but sunny windows looking out on a snow covered golf course during the winter months.
The course layout is very nice, with some water holes and strategically placed sand traps. The tee boxes, especially on the back, we're mostly dirt, limited grass. The greens were aerated, which is understandable this time a year. Unfortunately, the pro shop never told us prior to us making our reservation.
I saw a post on here by Milo K posted recently. I wanted to also kind of follow up with that. It’s funny I went last summer and me and my family had a very weird interaction with Brandon I remember it very well cuz we still talk about it to this day LOL he was just super rude and sort of cocky. Ruined our golf round a little. maybe he was having a rough day who knows.
Enjoyed the course. The front nine is wide open. The back nine is more target golf with big elevation changes. Just a little TLC would go a long way with course conditions. The greens were very slow. Tee boxes could use some work.
Golf course was very nice loved it but 1 very big issue which is why I will not be coming back is the worker in the front office name was Brandon he was very rude matter afact extremely rude, selfish. Not really sure how he got hired but yeah never coming back.

Very sweet walking path. Somehow we have to convince people to carry their doggie bags out❗
I play disc golf here. With my dog! For free! Absolutely love this place.
Played the disc golf course. Nice little 9 hole with some challenging drives. Definitely need some better wayfinders to mark holes and could use some tee boxes in place of the dirt patches that seem to mark where to tee from.
Great hiking and nature trails. Easy relaxed trails dog friendly. Also a very fun little 9 hole disc golf course here!
Nice little free 9 hole disk golf course and park.
Perfect for a dog walk off the leash.
This park has a disc golf course, but also has amazing trails for walking. The wooded trails are wide and well maintained with bridges over the brook. The scenery is beautiful and it's the perfect place to take a dog for a run or just to go and enjoy nature.
A nice spot to walk and trail run year round, and xx ski and snowshoe in the winter. As of 8/28/2017, well behaved dogs under voice control are welcome off leash! But please pick up after them because word around town is there's interest in ending off leash option.

Yarmouth Boat Works resurrected my 30 year old boat that had sat on the trailer for more than ten years. It turned into a big project and they did a great job. The work was done promptly and they kept me posted along the way. They did the best they could to keep the cost down which was much appreciated. The staff is very professional and the shop was spotless. Very happy with the result. If you want good service done by professionals, this is the place.
Relatives recommended Captain Jack for our purchase of a used center console, so we headed up to Yarmouth Boat Yard from Boston. We were very ably assisted by Parker, who was friendly and highly informative regarding the various features of the many boats in stock. It was cold and rainy, yet Parker was patient and cheerful contending with our many questions. The lovely woman at the front desk even lent me her raincoat! A great business with no high-pressure sales vibe -- they really seem to love boating and their work. Thank you Parker!
I first came across Yarmouth Boat Yard when shopping for my first boat. Although I did not end up purchasing from them I remained in contact with Eric in the sales dept. and he has continued to be helpful and generously provided a few tickets to the New England Boat Show for my family. I decided recently to give their service dept. a try to have my new Parker commissioned and some electronics installed. Jon in service probably answered about 30 emails from me as I tend to be detail oriented. He was extremely helpful and professional, and the quality of the work completed looks solid. I've already scheduled my next maintenance. Highly recommend!
Beautiful little park across the street that overlooks the Royal River to have lunch.
Last month I purchased from Yarmouth Boat Yard a late model lightly used Cutwater26. The transaction was pleasant but the boat suffered from an overheat issue which was initially mis-diagnosed. Jon and his service team stuck with me until the issue was resolved. Their install of new hardware to fix the problem was done well using quality parts and they maintained good communication throughout. Would recommend!
I’ve purchased a number of Boats over the years and ultimately each time I was forced to deal with a “salesman”. I realized as soon as I spoke with Captain Jack Stewart that he was a seasoned mariner. He answered all my questions honestly and patiently. Captain Jack was very accessible and responsive but there was zero sales pressure. For the first time I wasn’t calling a marina and dealing a boat salesman that sounded like he should be back out on the used car lot. Yarmouth boatyards pricing was competitive and the purchase decision with Yarmouth was a no brainer. Captain Jack’s sales assistant Kelli was amazing with all details re the vessel. I live a few states away and she sent videos when I had questions or concerns. She made delivery a snap. Kelli had all of our states required registration documents at her fingertips. Whether in Maine or out of state, if you want to work with a straight shooting and knowledgeable team look no further than Yarmouth.
Yarmouth Boat Yard is the only boat yard I use being a commercial boat owner. They are the best option to make sure that you get done what is needed the first time. Great people to work with who go out of there way to take care of their customers.
I have been boating for over 30 years and have never experienced service like i recently recieved from the team at Yarmouth Boat Yard. They were attentive to every need, answered any and all questions, and returned every correspondence in a timely manner. From the Gm Shawn to the yard Manager Brian, these guys are top notch. If your in the market for a boat, seasonal slip, or boat repairs, look no further.

Riverbend Yoga has truly become my home studio! Anna is an incredible instructor who makes every class welcoming and approachable for all experience levels, from complete beginners to those with years of practice. She has such a warm and supportive teaching style that makes you feel comfortable and confident while still being challenged. Anna and Diana have created such a beautiful and peaceful space here. Every time I walk through the door, I instantly feel happier and more grounded. The community they’ve built is so inviting, and I always leave class feeling better than when I came in. I can’t recommend Riverbend Yoga enough, it’s truly the best!
I just started at Riverbend and it has been such a great experience that I wanted to leave a review. I love the assortment of class choices for all different levels. I’ve taken two of Katy’s classes & love them. They’ve really helped me slow down and I’ve had some much needed release of tension & stress. Although I haven’t tried one yet, I like that they are offering some interesting workshops and have some unique classes that other yoga studios don’t have. I’m looking forward to some warmth there through our cold season (& hope the studio is warm through the winter) 🥶. I look forward to trying some of the other teachers too! RB seems like a great place to practice yoga & go deeper.
I started taking yoga classes at Riverbend in June using their 30-day new student promotion which allowed me to try out unlimited classes and different instructors. The space and instructors are warm, supportive and welcoming. Even after having a major surgery and needing to take time to heal at home for a few weeks, I have felt confident coming back to class, doing what my body needs, which sometimes looks different than my instructor. Modifications are always encouraged. This studio is a gem!
I’ve been doing their outdoor yoga in the park series summer 2025 and it’s really been an epic way to start my Sunday. Just a short drive from Portland. (Yes, my mats are sick)
This Yoga studio is lovely. They are fully equipped, organized and a very soothing as well as well decorated space. Each instructor has something special to offer. I especially love the Yin, reiki and sound bowls. Highly recommend. Their class sign up portal us very easy to use as well.
Riverbend Yoga is truly a special place! The classes are thoughtfully led, always evolving. Each one offers something new, feeling fresh and unique. I’ve had the chance to learn from so many incredible teachers (too many favorites to name!), each bringing their own style, energy, and inspiration. The space is beautiful, highly recommended!
I have been to a few yoga places, but this is by far my favorite place. I have loved every instructor and always feel relaxed, stretched and happier when I leave. The atmosphere is great, it is welcoming and comfortable. There is plenty of parking as well. I highly recommend taking classes here!
Riverbend is inviting and the teachers I have taken classes with are great. They offer adjustments and alternative poses if you have an injury. The space is lovely and the murals on the wall add a wonderful calming vibe to the studio.
