We did it AGAIN with a church group. This time with Fred... Known as Fast Fred. He's very knowledgeable and entertaining!! Another Great Guided trip down the Ocoee River! And we all stayed in the boat! Important... We had an Exciting trip down the lower Ocoee River! Our guide, Logan made it a fun trip with cool stories about the river & it's landmarks. And we think Most of it was True! Lol... The whole crew at OAC made us feel welcome and SAFE as we splashed our way down the river. Photos & hot showers on return topped off a great day. I've rated with them several times. It never gets old!
Billy was an incredible guide and instructor! He made me feel safe from the very beginning and clearly had a deep knowledge of whitewater rafting. His experience showed throughout the trip, and he made sure we not only stayed safe but also had a ton of fun. Billy was a great teacher — patient, clear, and enthusiastic. I highly recommend him as an instructor and really appreciate the overall experience with Ocoee Adventure Center. Can't wait to come back!!
Our scout troop closed out our summer adventure here for Labor Day weekend. With great proximity to the Ocoee River, the bus ride to put in and return was short and smooth (thanks John!). The rafting is was in was expertly guided by Caleb, who made the experience an mist do again for our boys. Report from the other raft was that Adam kept the same, high standard, making all the scouts ask to come again. Staff at the base was helpful, courteous and friendly. The photographer took excellent photos. Defiantly will return! (Maybe just sneak off for a family trip too)
Of all the companies you can choose from, choose this one! Paul started us off with the best dad jokes and giving us the safety instructions. He made sure all our gear was on correctly and properly fitting. Then we were paired with Amy for our guide who rechecked our safety gear and made sure we were aware of our expectations to having a great and safe experience. Amy was very personal-able and informative during our trip. We had SO much fun, no one fell out of our boat and she made sure we nailed the splash competition they have ❤️ Amy had 5/6 newbies on our boat and she made sure all of them would return.
Had an absolutely fantastic time. Went with some of my closest friends for our first rafting trip! Our guide, Jon, was fantastic!! Had us laughing and cracking jokes with us. We are already planning another trip for next summer! See you then 😁
We have rafted with this company four times and our experience has been exceptional! When they say their number one priority is for you to have fun and be safe, they are not kidding. They are very experienced and follow all safety precautions!! We had a blast. Amy, Tanner, and Savannah were awesome. If you are looking for a place to have a fantastic day on the river. This is the place! Enjoy!!
Simply the best! We go up every year and it is a must! The guides are always amazing, friendly and so much fun while keeping you safe. It’s always a good day on the River!!!
We had a great time doing the full day Ocoee trip with Ocoee Adventure Center! Our guide Adam was very knowledgeable and professional. He did a great job navigating some difficult situations on the river, and the whole crew had a blast! The river has a great variety of different rapids, and provided good thrills for us as 3rd-timers. Highly recommend!

My two kiddos and I had an amazing day riding at Blanche Manor. We took an hour long trail ride on the trails that go through the property. It honestly felt so much longer than an hour, and we loved every minute of it. Mrs. Melanie pointed out all the deer we came across. Saw a lot and several fawns as well. She was the best guide, and my kiddos loved her. She took her time to explain how to control and guide the horses. It took us a little longer to get on the trails because she needed to switch the saddle on her horse and that made me feel even more safe and comfortable because she showed a deep understanding of the horse and that it doesn't like that saddle. She made sure everyone was safe and all the horses were good to go. Very professional. I was impressed and glad she took that time to make sure the horse was 100%. The trails we took went uphill, downhill, through a creek where we got to let the horses stop for a drink, and it felt amazing in the shade. My kiddos started out feeling nervous, but within minutes, Melanie had them smiling, laughing, and having a great time. They loved it and are still talking about their experience. They can not wait to come back and ride at Blanche Manor again. She took several picture of us and of the deer and sent them to my phone, so I have amazing pictures to always remember those moments. The price of all three of us to ride was great. It was definitely well priced and not overcharged like others I looked at.
My Family and I went this morning for an hour or so ride with our amazing guide Charlotte. Our fantastic horses, Clyde, Harleigh, Crystal, and Lola took excellent care of us showing us the way through the trails. These horses are VERY well trained and very easy to ride and go through the trails. My 7 year old son has no experience, not even a pony ride, and he did great. Charlotte reassured him and guided him through everything with ease. She was so good to our family and made the trip so much fun. We will absolutely be back in the future to ride again. If you’re thinking about doing horseback riding, don’t think, book it with Blanche Manor. This was a great experience and we will recommend it to anyone and everyone. Thank You again Charlotte and our amazing horses, Clyde, Harleigh, Crystal, and Lola. If you get the chance to ride Lola like I did, she is so good and so knowledgeable of the trail and where to stand for pictures she is pretty much on autopilot. When we got back to the stable, she walked us over to the rail herself without being guided because she knew right where to go, she made me look like a pro. Our Son was originally going to ride Snickers, but Snickers wasn’t feeling too good this morning. We certainly hope that Snickers is feeling better now.
I brought my 9 and 7 year old girls there and when they saw the horse and how big they are, they were scared. But our guide Sara reassured them and helped them overcome their fears. 10 minutes into the ride they wan me to buy them horses. The horse are VERY well trained and patient to beginners as well as nervous riders. Beautiful trails and stunning views. A MUST do!
Being at the ranch felt like we were riding through a fairy tale. The land is beautiful and well cared for. Our guide Charlotte was patient with our kids and taught our youngest enough to be comfortable enough for all of us to get up to a trot several times with our horses on the trail. The horses are in good shape, appear cared for and not over worked, they were also obedient and well trained. We paid the extra for a private group ride and it was well worth it. We highly recommend horse riding here and would certainly return! Our kids also loved the barn cats!
The people here are just amazing. We booked last minute and they were able to accommodate my family of 5. Unfortunately, my daughter freaked out cause she didn’t realize how high you sit. The staff tried their best to calm her but in the end she stayed behind with my wife. They were kind enough to not charge us for my wife and daughter. Onto the ride itself, this was the first time my boys and I ever been on a horse. The lead was so kind and patient and gave us great instructions throughout the ride. We absolutely loved it! I would love to go back for a longer ride someday!! Thank you so much for being so kind and giving us such a great memory!
We did the 1-hour trail ride with Sara and I highly recommend it! We had zero experience with horses, but Sara made us feel completely comfortable and took wonderful care of our family. Our kids (ages 6 and 8) did incredibly well thanks to her guidance. Sara was kind, knowledgeable, and patiently taught us everything we needed to know. The horses are clearly very well cared for, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a family ride.
We went horseback riding and had a great time. I've been to several different riding locations, and this was the best experience I've had. Great staff, well taken care of horses, and beautiful scenery. It's not a flat trail with horses that seem to hate what they're doing. The terrain was varried and the horses were great. Thank you!
Absolutely the best! Melody and her staff are amazing and so talented. My granddaughter had never rode before and I’m proud to say that she was treated like a princess! We will most definitely be back and will bring friends!! James, Greta, and Everly

Such a fun place to stay!! If you’re looking for the perfect little getaway that’s relaxing yet has plenty of things to do this is the place to go to. Staff is also helpful and you can tell they actually care. My favorites were the hiking, horseback riding, and the rafting. I will be revisiting for sure :)
This place is great! I can't say enough good things about it! The staff actually cares about your visit! Everybody is so invested in your visit and having a good time. We came for a summer camp and to have so many things to do on property is amazing. The kitchen staff do such a good job, well, actually, I can't say enough about all of the staff! They were so nice! We did the low ropes, high ropes, paint ball, mountain biking, white water on the oçoee river, and horse back riding with Scooter! We can't wait to come back!
Best place EVER!! The staff is outstanding, and the views make you feel like you're in a movie. They have many activities and something for all ages. If you're checking out the area, I HIGHLY recommend Whitewater Express!!
My husband and I enjoyed our second anniversary here not knowing anything about this place. We bought the Groupon deal for the cabin two night stay and two excursions, we also added another excursion to the deal for an extra cost during the month of July. Our excursions were horseback riding, whitewater rafting and the ropes course. They have other excursions to choose from including paintballing and biking. By far the whitewater rafting was the BEST!!! Our guide Jeffro made the experience, he knew the river so well and made the ride more memorable. They have photographers that take your pictures during the rafting trip that you can buy. The cabins were great, they reminded me of a glorified KOA cabin but better, we stayed in cabin 53. It was pretty much out there away from the main area. We're from SC so the TN area was BEAUTIFUL and the temperature was perfect! You can be in TN, NC or GA within minutes. There is a town close by to make last minute grabs or to gas up. I would highly suggest this place even if it's for whitewater rafting, go and enjoy! The company has a Groupon just got the whitewater rafting itself. Oh, there is also a pony named Peppa that roams around the area. Super friendly pony, you can go up and pet him. They also have a great convenience store that has plenty of souvenirs to remember the experience.
Stayed here two nights in the spring of 2016 and had a wonderful time. The cabins were beautiful inside and out. The grounds were expansive with lots of trails to walk. The treetops ropes course on the grounds was exciting and the guides were fun and friendly. Very cool that Olympians stayed here during training at one time. Rafting was a blast and the raft guide was very knowledgeable - he made it very exciting even for a 4th time rafter, yet I still felt safe. What a fun and relaxing place, would love to go back!
The cabin was lovely, the staff were extremely friendly. My husband and I did horseback riding and whitewater rafting! We had such a fun and memorable experience, we will definitely go back. Fair warning, the water in the shower doesn't get very warm, infact almost froze to death taking a shower. Also, there is no cellphone service in the cabins which was actually great because you get to disconnect from everything.
Wyatt was great! We loved it. This was such a memorable experience for our family. Thank you!
Beautiful setting and cozy cabins! We enjoyed guided horseback riding on the trails and class III/IV whitewater rafting on nearby river. Cabins are clean and comfortable and camp provides DVDs for flat screen TVs (no cable, satellite or antennae reception). Camp fire area in each cabin loop if you feel inclined to build one. Extremely friendly staff. Can't way to cube back again and try the "blob" in the pond!

Swimming areas, picnic, areas, hiking...dog friendly leashed pets. They do rafting on different days and there is no swimming on the busy whitewater rafting or kayaking days...other days its calm swimming waters. Very cool place. Love the rocks and the area.
What a splendid place. Can you imagine almost 30 years ago this was the exact location that they held parts of the summer Olympics? I mean anywhere in yhe world the Olympic committee could have chosen and this was the spot that was picked. The countries flags are still being displayed and the place is still spectacular with rocks, water, picnic, parking, bridges all in abundance. Sadly due to an arsonist the large visitors center does not exist any longer. However the history of the copper mining, the history of the river, and the beauty of the drive to get here are outstanding. On the way here you’ll pass a gorgeous river, natural springs on the side of the road, one of the first ever in the United States hydroelectric dam and more. Love taking this route.
Stopped for a break at the Ocoee Whitewater center. There is a nice river walk along the river. Hiking and biking trails available on the other side. Plenty of pavilions and tables for picnics. Restrooms available onsite. Plenty of trash cans to dispose of your trash It’s a great place to swing in and relax.
The white water center is no longer there due to a fire which destroyed it. But, this is always my go to place for swimming and just relaxing and taking in the sun and sites. There is a large suspension bridge that you can walk across. Parking is $3 dollars.
Luv this place! So many trails! Beautiful day to enjoy mother nature!
Great spot to whitewater raft/kayak or watch other people do it. There are also some quiet spots to relax in the river off the trails
Very cool place to get out and explore a bit. Took the family here to go swimming but unfortunately they were not allowing swimming due to strong currents. Still worth the drive out there since it was very scenic driving along lake Ocoee and the river surrounded by mountains. We ended up going back up the road to a pull off that had a "beach". Kids had a blast swimming and i was able to fish right off the bank shortly up a trail.
The Ocoee Whitewater Center is a neat park where you can safely enjoy the action of the river as it streams by. With trails and prime viewing spots to watch the rafters tackle the rapids, it’s a great place to relax and take in the excitement. The park seemed well-maintained and offered plenty of entertainment for visitors. A fun and scenic spot for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike!

Christmas store
Shopping
Slide 1 of 8
We visited this Christmas shop twice within a few days and received the same excellent service both times by two different ladies. Both days the ladies were easily accessible offering bits and pieces of information about each item in the store which I thought was a great touch which really helped us understand each piece and decide what to buy. We even had some small chit chat with Santa. I’d recommend this location to anyone.
My wife is a Jim Shore collector. While in the store looking at the Jim Shore pieces, she noticed one of them appeared to be labeled wrong (wrong name on the piece) and pulled out her phone to go to the Jim Shore website to see info on that particular piece. The shop owner immediately walks over and says, “Y’all aren’t Amazon shopping are you? Because if you are, we don’t allow that.” I asked, “What is Amazon shopping?” He explains this is where you compare prices and look for one cheaper. When I asked what did it matter if we were or not he says “…because we won’t get the sale.” Even though that’s not what we were doing, when I’m buying ANYTHING, I do shop around for the best deal and when an item is significantly marked up higher than you can find in other places, of course I’m going with the cheaper price. I do hope the owner reads this because if so….. It’s the cost of doing business. Last I checked, I have a right to shop and purchase however I want to. I just seen that as VERY unprofessional. We left the store as I was no longer interested in anything else that was in there and will definitely not be back. I’ve lived in the area my entire life and have never been told anything like this in any of the stores in the area (nor anywhere for that matter) that I can’t be on my phone comparing prices. Might consider not having things so overpriced, as this particular piece was. I advise folks to try out some of the other local Christmas shops and not bother with this one.
The older male owner of this store was very rude. Completely unprofessional. His interactions with us were horrible, and instead of kindly speaking about something, he was outwardly rude. This is not the way to conduct yourself to potential customers. If anything, this behavior drives customers away. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store because you can literally find similar things from better stores/online for half the price.
It's a no. The older owners didn't appear to be kind. They never did or said anything, but that was the problem. Everyone else who walked in the shop was greeted. Instead, the 3rd lady wanted to make sure she gave us a "guided tour" of their shop. Didn't seem fair to me and my sister! NO!!!
I was so excited to find a Christmas shop in town. Cute store with beautifully hand crafted artisans both locally and around the world. I left with 4 ornaments that will make wonderful Christmas gifts. Employees were nice, but I did not enjoy the saleswoman following me every time I looked at a new ornament to inform me about it. Usually people will greet you when you come in, provide their recommendations and say “let me know if you need anything”. I found myself relieved when she left, so I could have a better shopping experience.
Cute store that deserves 5 stars, but we left empty handed and won't be back due to staff. At first, I thought the saleslady was just being nice and informative regarding the handpainted ornaments that I was looking at. But then everywhere we went in the store she was looking over our shoulders. I tested this buy walking around in circles in the store and she was always there watching. We have never stolen anything in our lives and my husband (that was with me) is actually a deputy sheriff. We were made to feel like thieves, so I put the items down on a table that I wanted to purchase and left the store. This was ridiculous and we were not treated like this in any of the other shops.
My wife, our Bulldog and I visited the store and got to meet Santa Rip. As a Santa myself it was an honor to meet such a gracious and talented man. We purchased some items and I was lucky enough to purchase one of his tools used in the bowl making process. A must see if you love Christmas items and Santa. His craftsmanship really shows in the quality bowls he has made. We will be back.
This store is not your normal crammed full shop of high volume mass produced Christmas ornaments. They have a great selection of original, individual artisan work. Much of it is free trade sourced. Owners are joyful and friendly people.

We booked a trip later in the season and Ocoee was one of the only companies we could find that was still doing rafting adventures in Middle October. However I must say we couldn't have been happier or more pleased with this company. From The booking process to the check in procedure, it was all easy and everyone was great. I have to also say our guide, Yak, was the best!! He knew every inch of the river, he was very informative, and he was the most pleasant, fun, guide we could have had. We will definitely be requesting Yak on our next trip. Thanks Ocoee for a great adventure
Me and my aunt did the zipline tour! It was absolutely AMAZING! Our ranger guides were bubbly and so helpful. You could tell they loved their jobs. They walked us through everything and made sure we were comfortable with each line. We are beginners and this is a great first zipline for us. Shout out to MIKE AND DAVID at Ocoee Zipline and Canopy Tours!!! You guys rock and we will be back to go whitewater rafting!
It was my first time zip lining, and I loved it. Ella and Carter were amazing and so patient with me. They made the trip! This was perfect for a quick girls trip, and we all had so much fun.
We had a great time rafting for part of our bachelor trip with Nick. He was an awesome guide and very knowledgeable about the area and its history. He provided us with an unforgettable experience. We also went zip lining with Wiley and Gracie. They were fantastic and really knew their stuff! They had us laughing the whole time!
Went with my best friend and Carter,Caroline and Paige were our guides. The overall course has a bunch of fun Ziplines, suspension bridges and ends with a race against someone else! Super fun experience to do while in the area!
Our first time rafting and our tour guide Jace was amazing and made us feel comfortable! We had an amazing experience 100% recommend we did the middle river
Had an amazing time zip-lining—an unforgettable adventure soaring through the treetops! The staff made it fun and safety a top priority, which let us relax and fully enjoy the thrill. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fun and peace of mind!
Great time rafting the middle Ocoee with my oldest son. Our guide Parrott was experienced and gave us a great experience on the river. Also, Lizzie was great with our whole family on the zip lines earlier in the day.

So much to like. Good varied of beer, biker friendly and collecting donations for NC victims of Hurricane Helene. So awful and it's heartwarming to see communities a little further away coming together to help these people. Loved being next to the train tracks and waving to the families riding the rail. The bartender was very friendly and let us sample the Peanut Butter Paws, which smelled so yummy. My husband got it, I opted to go fruity with the selzter. I loved a "full-bodied" selzter and not the base with a pump of your choice. Lots of space outside with good shade. And I love how they repurposed an old service station. Where were you when we frequently rated the Ocoee? 😉
We love coming to this brewery. Usually, we hit the Murphy location, but this one is closer to us on this trip. Getting eggs from a local guy, the one who carved the bench, was quite amazing as well. Mark was fun to converse with, and his work is amazing! Obviously, the beers are the reason we come here, so if you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for a few.
We stopped in for just one pint but was impressed with the variety offered, and Tina was fantastic to talk with. The Backpack Blonde was perfect, and my husband enjoyed his peanut butter stout. Pricing was just right, and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. We will be back!
I absolutely LOVE Buck Bald! I don't live in town, but I visit 3-4 times per year, and I try to never miss Survey Slam on Friday nights! It's a blast and a fun spin on trivia, and the people here make the experience so awesome! The beer is varied and delicious. Dog-friendly and super cool environment!
Great service and great beer. Such a fun space with interesting decor. We would return next time we come back!
This place is awesome! Jake, who was serving the day that we visited, had a great personality and was very nice. We tried a couple of samples before choosing a beer. I ended up with a berry flavored sour, which wasn’t too sour and I really enjoyed. My mom got an IPA called Kosmic Kitty. Apparently whenever they sell a Kosmic Kitty beer, a portion of the earnings are donated to the local Humane Society, which I think is amazing! All the seating is outside, but covered. They are dog friendly and have a really cool vibe. If you’re looking for a place to sit outside and enjoy a beer and a cool breeze, this is the place to go. They also have some great shirts and pint glasses for sale.
We were visiting the area for a quick get away and were grateful to find a few breweries. Buck Bald is great. Several rooms to sit and enjoy their beer and a nice outdoor patio. They had heaters throughout so don’t hesitate to give them a try as the weather gets colder. I had the Amber and my husband had the Shesquash it’s more of a wee heavy Scottish ale . Both were great and true to their style label. We could only stay for one but we completely recommend this brewery for a stop!
Stopped into Buck Bald today during our Christmas ride. Great beer, great people. We'll be back. Felt right at home there. Been back several times now... Great 🍺. Back again to raise a glass to Jimmy Buffett. RIP February ride over to Copperhill and a couple of beers at Buck Bald. Two in the Boot is outstanding pale ale. Keep up the great work guys and gals. March 2024. Bucks Frosty Balls is an outstanding brew. Lots of hop goodness.

Very fun experience with great staff. One of the rooms we did (Defuse) ran into some issues when an antique puzzle piece wasn’t working as intended (probably our fault - we may have been a bit rough with it) - making the room impossible to finish. When Gary realized this, he was quick to come in, apologize and explain the problem, and offer us another room and a coupon for a return visit. While we were there, we ended up attempting all three rooms they had and all of them were very enjoyable and fun for our family. The experience itself was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area with a free half hour. My only recommendation is that they change the maximum group sizes listed on the reservation page. While we were only a party of 3, the reservation allows for 7-10 people depending on the room which could become very crowded. The Flood would probably work best with up to 4 people and Defuse/Blackbeard’s Treasure with up to 6.
The game was not coherent and could not handle 10 people. I understand that the game is designed for thirty minutes but, I design escape rooms and was disappointed in the quality of puzzles and game flow. I was in their defuse room and the amount of red herrings is unacceptable. The quality of the room design matched the game well but some features leave the players confused. Also, the game has a bomb and it was not even working.
This place was great! Gary was super helpful and friendly. The Defuse room was awesome! Great variety of tricks and puzzles. Fun experience with a group of 5 👍🏼
We went to escape the line and this place was fantastic. Gary, the owner, is so hospitable and was very accommodating for us. Thank you for a great family memory!

I've been to this sweet little brewery probably 10 times over the last 4-5 years, and it is one of my favorites! Today was no exception! Besides the delicious variety of beer styles on tap, they also have whiskey, vodka, and rum they distill, and they'll let you taste them. Even better, always, is the staff. Tonight was Bill who made every patron feel 100% at home and cared for, but all the staff I've met here are just wonderful! 100% recommend! Buy a bottle of liquor too and support this wonderful business!
Stopped by to celebrate my birthday. It was quiet because the train wasn’t in. We had a couple great beers and conversations with Greg and Lindsay. We would come back next time we are in town.
Stopped in at the Copperhill Brewery and was very pleasantly surprised. The Brewery was beautiful and had only been open since Oct 11th. Super Clean and laid back. Couches, and comfy chairs as well as a bar to sit at. They only serve what they make so its not a full bar, but if you like beer, bourbon or whiskey you are set! It is set right on the water and has a very nice outside seating area. The staff was super friendly and attentive and I highly recommend stopping in especially if you are on the Blue Ridge Railway!
Great selection of beers and distilled spirits- plus the people were just phenomenal! Such a relaxed, fun going kinda place.
Great spot. Beer is good and everyone very hospitable. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.
We just found this. Brand new. My husband had a duck town light and I had the apple cinnamon rum harvest cocktail. Delicious. Jeff was great and educated us. I bought a bourbon. That I loved. Maybe close to Blanton. Give this place a try
Good beer (Lucius Vienna Lager, 5.2% ABV recommended); whiskey tasting was ok, but definitely not priced appropriately. Have a drink in two states (TN & GA) at once!
Great place! Fantastic beer and superb service! Friendly and welcoming. Thanks for the hospitality!

We had an amazing guided fishing trip with Andrew! We both had never really fly fished and he still put us on lots of fish. Andrew was very great at teaching us what to do and had a hilarious sense of humor.
Young man sold us a lure. We knew he was good as he had a heavy local accent. Nice staffer.
Amazing time with Toccoa Outfitters. My first time fly fishing and my guide (Fisher) made the experience amazing. Had a great conversation with the owner Ben afterwards at the shop. It is truly the OG outfitter in the Blue Ridge area and they are local to the core. Great people offering a great service, at a fair price. #flyfishing #toccoaoutfitters #local #patriottallowcompany #blueridge
Great service. We took a guided trip with Korben and he put us on numerous trout. Thank you for the awesome trip. The staff in the store are very knowledgeable.
Probably the most delightful day one could ever spend on a river in North Georgia. Andrew knows where every single fish in the entire river is - I think he knows each one of them personally. Leading up to the trip, he let us know how the fishing was looking, and when some rain the night before changed things up, he had us put in the river at a different spot, and within 3 minutes of the boat shoving off of the boat ramp we were pulling them in. I also brought my 3 year old, and truly - if you are wanting to take a kid fishing in North Georgia, there is no one better than Andrew. One might think - wow, there is a lot that could go wrong taking a 3 year old on a fishing boat for 5 hours. Not with Andrew. He was great with my daughter, was better at keeping her entertained than I was, and 5 hours felt like 2 because of how much fun we were having. Not only was he an incredible fisherman & fishing guide, but a tremendous person. You could do no better than a day of fishing with family or friends (or heck, just by yourself) on Andrew's boat. We will be back. (He'll also take awesome photos for you the whole time, so don't worry about that. Somehow, he'd have the net out, fish in our hand, and his phone out with a picture snapped before you could blink)
We were visiting from Florida, and my husband had questions about trout fishing. Tucker was very helpful. He answered all of our questions, and gave us tips on fishing and what we needed Thank you for taking the time to talk with us
Had a great day with Chandler Teems and John Porter. They are fantastic people and taught me a lot that day. We definitely made a day of memories and friends for life. They worked hard to put us on fish and done a great job at it. 10 out of 10 and I do recommend. I will definitely be back to make more memories with these guys.
While on vacation, my girlfriend and I stopped in here one afternoon just to peek around and ask questions about the local fishing, we were greeted by the nicest fella(Chandler Teems), who gave us pointers, lure tips, and all of the equipment two out of towners would need to get on to some fish for a day...even a hand drawn diagram on where to find fish in the water, and how best to approach catching them. The experience we had in this shop was wonderful, and we would really recommend stopping by if you get a chance. in total, we caught 11 rainbow trout thanks to the help from Chandler, and it made our experience one we wouldn't forget.

Such a cool spot! Best little boutique space in McCaysville/Copperhill! Cool art that is both kitschy and fine art as well as functional pottery and jewelry too. The owner is a fabulous woman with a real passion for her shop!
Owner was really crabby towards my kids just being in the store. It was as if she was paranoid they were going to break something. She came across wrong, probably in the wrong profession
You should take down your Google page since you've been closed gor a year.
Truly a unique Gallery! Local Artist, Local honey. Gifts and and so much more
A great addition to the Copper Basin area!
super cool findings and great service

Beautiful Clothing, Purses, Hats, Jewelry EVERYTHING!!! And the owner was AMAZING!!! LOVE!! Make this a definite stop!!! Much love!!!
Love this place. Got my niece something for Graduation and birthday gift. Definitely will be back.
Have driven by the store on multiple occassions over the past couple years. It has a charming draw. I finally stopped, this past weekend. It lives up to it's charming draw. Loved the style options. My horse lover just got her horse and had her wardrobe recently stocked. So didn't buy anything, this time, but will go back, when it's time for more...
Super cute, clean, and well set store. Prices were mid to high depending on what you're looking for. Only complaint is you can't enjoy browsing without overbearing sales people ooogling to make a sale or pestering you about what you're looking for. That's not the environment for me.
Nice small Western clothing store.Plenty of quality clothes, jewelry, cowboy boots and hats at reasonable prices.
We came up on vacation & love to visit small towns. I’m originally from Texas and fell in love with this shop. Love all the turquoise and cowgirl clothes! Wonderful people too!
Mary (owner )is such a wonderful person, I'm so glad I made a special trip to this store. I purchased healing balms and love them! The whole store was very nice, with good quality clothes. Will definitely go back!
We visited Painted Pony while on vacay and walking in this store made our day! The women who worked there made us feel at home, welcomed and helped us in every way. We even left a jacket before getting back on the Blue Ridge Scenic train ride and they personally brought it back to us before we left! Amazing clothes and goods with outstanding detail and unbelievable customer service! 5 stars all the way!
