We enjoyed our lunch here very much! I got the Caprese salad and added chicken and it was quite yummy! My husband got a burger and he enjoyed it very much. We even got their Mimosa flight and it was such a cool experience! Our server was so helpful and kind. If we are back in town we will definitely visit again!

Gorgeous view, prompt service and DELICIOUS food. Highly recommend. Yesterday was our first visit but my friends and I look forward to coming back and enjoying the atmosphere and dining again very soon! If we had any requests or issues they were immediately accommodated without hesitation. We truly had a great experience at this establishment!

My mom and I visited tonight. I could not have asked for a better intro to this quaint, adorable town. We are here for the 5k this weekend and were starving after a 4.5 hour drive. Our waitress, Sophia, was amazing! She was bubbly, energetic and friendly from the time we arrived. The food was incredible and the dessert, WOW! The carrot cake is a must. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. Keep it up Burra Burra! We plan to make this an annual trip and 100% will be coming back!

I highly recommend trying something here. I was impressed with the waitstaff allowing a custom drink for me that was perfection. While I waited for my food I was entertained by the geese and duck show on the river. My food was impeccably created and so delicious that I tried to beg for a recipe. I wasn’t able too get it but I’m still going to try. I loved the atmosphere and everything about this place!

Very nice casual dining on the river near the Blue Ridge train station. Easy walk from the train. Good service. Went for lunch. No complaints. American food, nice cocktails. They can accommodate large groups. Indoor and outdoor dining.

Food was great. Fries portions were disappointing. Little pricey but bourbon sauce on the burger & fries was outstanding. Ruben was good but bourbon sauce made it better.

Great view. Service was pretty good given that it was train rush hour and they were slammed. The food was pretty lackluster. My burger was fairly bland. My husband's fish and chips portion was tiny for the price. But probably the worst item was the mojito. It's the worst cocktail I've ever been served. We had to send it back.

Twisted Tomato McCayesville has some of the best pizza we have ever had and we've tried pizza globally. The staff are super friendly. We love the area so much we recently relocated to the area. On Realtor we used this location to determine where we bought. 1 hour was the maximum. Fortunately we're just 11 minutes away now! Thanks Twisted Tomato McCayesville Team!

Chose this as my place to eat when the railway stopped. Ordered the herb breadsticks and not cheesy ones, though I probably should’ve done cheesy. They were made fresh and tasted alright, though I definitely felt like I should’ve chose different. The marinara is very acidic and not at all sweet like papa John’s, if that’s your cup of tea, not mine. The staff was super friendly and was the best part. The view of the river aswell! Overall I’d come back, but not choose the breadsticks again

Very pleased with this place. The food was amazing we got a half Bigfoot supreme and twisted pepperoni pizza and it was so good. I also bought a tumbler from them and it was the last one and the lady was kind enough to wash it for me so I could put drink in it. Will definitely come back.

This is a gem, great food beautiful views and even better service. We had delicious pizza and calzones, set up for pick up but in the moment of picking up and seeing the views and everything around I had to come back with my family for dessert. Definitely recommended.

Such a nice inviting environment! We got the Spaghetti and Meatballs to split which came with garlic knots and a Red Sangria to drink! The spaghetti was a special but man it was DELISH! Huge portion and so yummy! The meatballs were so flavorful and they brought it to our table outside. The Red Sangria was made with strawberry puree and it was so good and fresh. We will always visit when in the area!

I don't see any management presence at this restaurant. A group of very young staff members were chatting inappropriately and fooling around, and the girl making pizza, who was wearing a hat, really shouldn't be interacting with customers. I shared with her our unpleasant experience at the restaurant next door, where we ended up leaving after raw chicken, and she just laughed, saying, what do you expect? It's Burra Burra, our GM runs it, we completely understand what you're going through, and she recommended that I look at the reviews others have posted as everyone complains they just can’t get it together. Honestly, what will it take to receive decent service in this mall? Because it certainly won't come from either of these restaurants. After waiting for 55 minutes, we finally received a pizza, and it wasn't even correct, but we were done with it and decided to box it up to take home. And just as she mentioned, I am now reading these reviews for both of these restaurants. It's very disappointing.

REALLY GOOD STROMBOLIS! This place is really nice, they offer a salad bar that we didnt get but still looked really good. Theres an area to sit outside where you can see the river, and it was overall really fun.

We love coming to this brewery. Usually, we hit the Murphy location, but this one is closer to us on this trip. Getting eggs from a local guy, the one who carved the bench, was quite amazing as well. Mark was fun to converse with, and his work is amazing! Obviously, the beers are the reason we come here, so if you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for a few.

We stopped in for just one pint but was impressed with the variety offered, and Tina was fantastic to talk with. The Backpack Blonde was perfect, and my husband enjoyed his peanut butter stout. Pricing was just right, and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. We will be back!

I absolutely LOVE Buck Bald! I don't live in town, but I visit 3-4 times per year, and I try to never miss Survey Slam on Friday nights! It's a blast and a fun spin on trivia, and the people here make the experience so awesome! The beer is varied and delicious. Dog-friendly and super cool environment!

This place is awesome! Jake, who was serving the day that we visited, had a great personality and was very nice. We tried a couple of samples before choosing a beer. I ended up with a berry flavored sour, which wasn’t too sour and I really enjoyed. My mom got an IPA called Kosmic Kitty. Apparently whenever they sell a Kosmic Kitty beer, a portion of the earnings are donated to the local Humane Society, which I think is amazing! All the seating is outside, but covered. They are dog friendly and have a really cool vibe. If you’re looking for a place to sit outside and enjoy a beer and a cool breeze, this is the place to go. They also have some great shirts and pint glasses for sale.

We were visiting the area for a quick get away and were grateful to find a few breweries. Buck Bald is great. Several rooms to sit and enjoy their beer and a nice outdoor patio. They had heaters throughout so don’t hesitate to give them a try as the weather gets colder. I had the Amber and my husband had the Shesquash it’s more of a wee heavy Scottish ale . Both were great and true to their style label. We could only stay for one but we completely recommend this brewery for a stop!

Stopped into Buck Bald today during our Christmas ride. Great beer, great people. We'll be back. Felt right at home there. Been back several times now... Great 🍺. Back again to raise a glass to Jimmy Buffett. RIP February ride over to Copperhill and a couple of beers at Buck Bald. Two in the Boot is outstanding pale ale. Keep up the great work guys and gals. Lots of nice shops. I do not recommend the Christmas shop. Beautiful things but each customer is hovered over. Very uncomfortable. Loved the guy at Sweets shops. Was so nice. I need get him send me some more banana candy sticks

Tooney's- Fun, live, concert venue. Saw Giovannie and the Hired Guns. Excellent acoustics. Unfortunately not well thought out for handicap. Need to put a section to the side so we could see. Not everyone can do high top tables

Totally worth the drive up from Kennesaw Atlanta or down from the mountains wherever you may be. We went here for the Christmas shopping experience having rode the train, unbelievable opportunity and day to spend in the mountains of Tennessee in Georgia. Blue Ridge mountains are absolutely beautiful a fun drive up and multiple things to do around the community. The beautiful Toccoa river And the Ocoee river are in this region. So many different shops to pop in and things to buy for everyone. 🇺🇸👏🏽🐺

So really who knew McCaysville had this developing cute tourist shopping district. I came in on the Blue Ridge train and saw a diverse collection of retail vendors catering to guest. The Riverwalk shops contains a Bar, Restaurant, Bookstore, Clothing retailer, Sweet shop, Pasta shop and more. Not all the vendor space are occupied. Everything is within a comfortable walking distance. Also the restaurant has deck/patio seating looking out over the river.

The River Walk Shops are a charming little gem in this small town. Each shop has its own unique style and personality—perfect for browsing and finding something special. There’s also an eatery right on the river with a beautiful view overlooking the bridge. It’s peaceful, scenic, and a great place to relax while enjoying a meal. Definitely worth a visit!

We went to the rustic store here and the sales team was excellent. We purchased a rustic wood framed photo of a grand father taking his grandson fly fishing. Beautiful picture.

Fabulous waterfront restaurant! Specials every day, so I had the prime rib and it was delicious & the homemade bloody Mary’s soooo good! The French dip was also excellent. All the food was wonderful, but the best part was our server Carolyn B. She was so much fun & is definitely in the right profession💕100% a people person! We will definitely be back!!

My boyfriend and I were on vacation and came upon this place from the train. Service was excellent. Food came out incredibly quick (I’m sure to accommodate the train) The atmosphere was perfect, outdoor on the water. Looked like they offer live music too. Great service and food was very good too, I got lobster bisque and a side salad and he got the French dip. Would come back again!

It is a perfect place to enjoy a casual dinner and a beverage if you desire. We chose outdoor seating on the deck by the Toccoa River (or I think it is actually the Ocoee River here) I chose the pulled pork sandwich, and my wife chose wings. The food was great, the staff were A+, and our server Alli was phenomenal! I am not quick to hand out 5 stars across the board, but The Waterfront Bar deserves all of them. If you ever find yourself in Copperhill, TN, do yourself a favor and stop by.

It was busy when we went, but it’s out of the control of the restaurant. Service was slow at first and more attentive once it cleared out. The food was good.

The location of this place is perfect…sitting riverside in a lovely little town was exactly what we wanted. Upon arriving we were promptly greeted and allowed to pick the table that appealed to us. Our waitress was very sweet and provided recommendations on the menu. Drinks: 1) we tried the Tennessee old fashion and is was average at best, but we were disappointed as it was more ice than drink. 2) we moved onto bloody Mary’s (spicy) and they were DELICIOUS! I have to say that each round of drinks took a very long time to arrive at our table. Appetizers: we had the mozzarella sticks and although they were giant sticks, they lacked in flavor and we received only a small container of sauce to dip them in. Lunch: we had the Ruben and the pulled pork sandwich. Our meals arrived about 5 minutes apart which created an awkward period of time as we will not start eating until everyone’s meal arrives…it’s just rude to do otherwise. Both meals were tasty, but I would not consider them to be above average (e.g., fries and onion rings both needed seasoning, Reuben was a little dry, and pork sandwich had way too much bbq sauce) Additionally, both came with a side of coleslaw however is was a micro serving and seemed rather odd that they would skimp on that item??? Price: this seemed rather pricy for lunch, but considering the location, ambiance, and the fact that this place appears to rely on day visitors, I was semi-ok and would return.

Stopped by to celebrate my birthday. It was quiet because the train wasn’t in. We had a couple great beers and conversations with Greg and Lindsay. We would come back next time we are in town.

Stopped in at the Copperhill Brewery and was very pleasantly surprised. The Brewery was beautiful and had only been open since Oct 11th. Super Clean and laid back. Couches, and comfy chairs as well as a bar to sit at. They only serve what they make so its not a full bar, but if you like beer, bourbon or whiskey you are set! It is set right on the water and has a very nice outside seating area. The staff was super friendly and attentive and I highly recommend stopping in especially if you are on the Blue Ridge Railway!

Good beer (Lucius Vienna Lager, 5.2% ABV recommended); whiskey tasting was ok, but definitely not priced appropriately. Have a drink in two states (TN & GA) at once!

The finest bar I have ever been to. It felt like The Boar's Nest from The Duke's of Hazzard. Beautiful people everywhere, inside and outward appearance. The owner was super cool and an awesome singer. I'm home up here in the mountains ⛰️

Great place for Karaoke! Staff is super fast and accommodating. Crowd has a good vibe. Prices are right. I love that they still allow smoking inside. Usually packed FRI/SAT. Seems like they recently got a few new bartenders that seem nice. They only serve beer and wine.

They don't serve food but it's a true local dive. Karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights and 1 pool table plus 1 dart board for recreation. Smoking allowed inside so don't plan on leaving without smelling like an ash tray, but hey, isn't that what makes it so great?! 😃 You won't regret stopping in for a cold one and enjoying the friendly local atmosphere.

We were just driving through when i asked a local where we could buy beer for our stay at one of the cabins.And he said only at jjs so we drove up to the window and bought 2 cases of beer 1 coors and 1 reds hard cider. I handed her my card never in a million years did i aspect her to say$108.00. Yes its my fault i didn't have too but i also wouldn't ever go back or give them the opportunity to get any more of my business. Or would i recommend them to anybody else to give them the chance to do this again.

I don't know why it's immediately neglected as a false review, almost like I was neglected in the shop. However as a Loganville Resident of 6 years, about an hour from the shop. River Laurel is such a wonderful gift shop. It has so many beautiful items, whether it be for a gift or for yourself. This store always has the best variety, for all ages, and is well kept. The staff is amazing and the owner is a pleasure to all customers.

This shop is set up beautifully and the owner is the absolute best. She's helped me on many occasions find the perfect gift. Even from an out of town order, she's quick to respond and will mail the package directly to the recipient. I love supporting small business and I highly recommend River Laurel Gifts.

I love River Laurel’s fun, unique selection of must haves mostly for myself AND my husband also. We spent the day browsing around Blueridge and Mccaysville and I was so excited when I walked in the boutique to find some quality items that weren’t in every other store. This store is awesome. The shop owner was the one working when we were there, and he was super friendly and helpful. This store has a great variety of things for your dog and dog themed home decor. If you're in the Riverwalk shops and don't stop by main Street mutt then your trip is incomplete. I am a school teacher and had a short conversation with the owner about his history, he was also a school teacher. I would give this shop 10 out of 5 stars

I told the lady, Emma, at the counter this was our first time. You pay when you order but the total bill had already upcharged us for a 20% tip! I don’t know why because we had to get our own drinks and refills and all our own condiments. The only thing she did was to bring our food to us. And we didn’t know we had to get our own drinks til I went back to the counter and asked. I ordered the fried catfish with fried mushrooms. The catfish was not greasy and tasted awesome! The mushrooms were sliced then fried which I enjoyed too. The portions were big so fair price. I would def come back for the food but the service was less than to be desired especially since we were the only patrons eating in the restaurant. And the attempt to sneak a 20% tip for not providing any service.

Juiciest burger I've had in a long time. Way much bigger than what I thought I was ordering and plenty of fries to go with it. The 3 young lady's I seen were very busy but never neglected to see if I needed anything. We got there right before the train unloaded and was able to get seated quickly.

The burgers are AMAZING so flavorful and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The fried mushrooms are a different spin they’re sliced and the family loved them!

Great staff that are very friendly. I had the double cheeseburger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Good portion size, awesome flavor. The fries are also really good with great seasoning.

Came in from a layover on the train tour, the service was great, no complaints there, and the atmosphere was out dated but had that cozy feeling that just seemed welcoming. 20/10 on everything here! I was just taking a little day trip on the train and got to stop for lunch. After shopping around a bit I noticed this place was pretty busy so I figured it must be good! I was not mistaken, or disappointed!! This was fast friendly walk up service and the menu was simple enough to decide quickly. I did not want to get a big lunch since I had limited time so I went with chicken soup and a Cuban pork tamale with some green sauce and of course a rum cake to take home. THIS TAMALE WAS LIKE NO OTHER IVE EVER HAD! The flavor of the pork, and tamale was moist and just delicious I had to tell her I never had such a good tamale and I can’t wait to make another special trip to visit again!! Also a side note they have gluten free rum cakes and tamales are gluten free as well as a few other options.

Didn’t care too much for the nachos, maybe because the wife didn’t get enough salsa, the chips are made from plantains I believe. Tamale was great as well. I tried the beef empanada and limoncello rum cake. The rum cake is EXTREMELY moist and perfect to share. The beef empanada was a yummy snack. If you come here for lunch I would get more than a single empanada! If you’re wanting to hop from place to place to snack, this place is perfect :) Cool chill vibes.

We love this spot. We come here when ever we have a craving for an authentic Cuban sandwich. I recommend the midnight sandwich. The sweet plantains are absolutely delicious. Of course the rum cake is amazing but they have so many other desserts as well. This time we had the dulce de Leche cheesecake. Can't forget to mention the black beans and rice. Run dont walk to rum cake lady!

Authentic Cuban and Excellent! We are fans of Cuban food and were delighted to find this gem in Copper Hill TN / McCaysville GA. I had Ropa Vieja Beef with black beans and rice with flan for dessert. My wife got chicken empanadas, papa rellena and ham croquetas. My dad had a turkey Cubano sandwich. All were excellent quality and authentic Cuban.

I LOVE this place! The Cuban sandwich was delicious and so were the yuca fries, tostones and rum cake! My friend was even able to get a Cuban sandwich with gluten free bread and a gluten free rum cake. Will definitely be going back any time I’m in the area.

Had lunch here on a busy Saturday afternoon. The service was friendly and efficient and the restaurant was very clean. The food was hot and tasty. We sampled several items and were happy with everything. The beef empanada was our favorite, although not pictured!

My wife is a Jim Shore collector. While in the store looking at the Jim Shore pieces, she noticed one of them appeared to be labeled wrong (wrong name on the piece) and pulled out her phone to go to the Jim Shore website to see info on that particular piece. The shop owner immediately walks over and says, “Y’all aren’t Amazon shopping are you? Because if you are, we don’t allow that.” I asked, “What is Amazon shopping?” He explains this is where you compare prices and look for one cheaper. When I asked what did it matter if we were or not he says “…because we won’t get the sale.” Even though that’s not what we were doing, when I’m buying ANYTHING, I do shop around for the best deal and when an item is significantly marked up higher than you can find in other places, of course I’m going with the cheaper price. I do hope the owner reads this because if so….. It’s the cost of doing business. Last I checked, I have a right to shop and purchase however I want to. I just seen that as VERY unprofessional. We left the store as I was no longer interested in anything else that was in there and will definitely not be back. I’ve lived in the area my entire life and have never been told anything like this in any of the stores in the area (nor anywhere for that matter) that I can’t be on my phone comparing prices. Might consider not having things so overpriced, as this particular piece was. I advise folks to try out some of the other local Christmas shops and not bother with this one.

The older male owner of this store was very rude. Completely unprofessional. His interactions with us were horrible, and instead of kindly speaking about something, he was outwardly rude. This is not the way to conduct yourself to potential customers. If anything, this behavior drives customers away. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store because you can literally find similar things from better stores/online for half the price.

It's a no. The older owners didn't appear to be kind. They never did or said anything, but that was the problem. Everyone else who walked in the shop was greeted. Instead, the 3rd lady wanted to make sure she gave us a "guided tour" of their shop. Didn't seem fair to me and my sister! NO!!!

I was so excited to find a Christmas shop in town. Cute store with beautifully hand crafted artisans both locally and around the world. I left with 4 ornaments that will make wonderful Christmas gifts. Employees were nice, but I did not enjoy the saleswoman following me every time I looked at a new ornament to inform me about it. Usually people will greet you when you come in, provide their recommendations and say “let me know if you need anything”. I found myself relieved when she left, so I could have a better shopping experience.

Cute store that deserves 5 stars, but we left empty handed and won't be back due to staff. At first, I thought the saleslady was just being nice and informative regarding the handpainted ornaments that I was looking at. But then everywhere we went in the store she was looking over our shoulders. I tested this buy walking around in circles in the store and she was always there watching. We have never stolen anything in our lives and my husband (that was with me) is actually a deputy sheriff. We were made to feel like thieves, so I put the items down on a table that I wanted to purchase and left the store. This was ridiculous and we were not treated like this in any of the other shops.

My wife, our Bulldog and I visited the store and got to meet Santa Rip. As a Santa myself it was an honor to meet such a gracious and talented man. We purchased some items and I was lucky enough to purchase one of his tools used in the bowl making process. A must see if you love Christmas items and Santa. His craftsmanship really shows in the quality bowls he has made. We will be back.

This store is not your normal crammed full shop of high volume mass produced Christmas ornaments. They have a great selection of original, individual artisan work. Much of it is free trade sourced. Owners are joyful and friendly people.

No menu in the store, no big display listing what's all available & the prices. First time in, I had to ask if they made hot fudge sundaes. The young girl said yes. So then I asked her how much they cost, and she had to look it up because she didn't know. She said $8.00. Holy poo! Didn't say if there was more than one size or anything. Very bad first impression for me. There should be a big board showing all items, with sizes, and prices, instead of people having to ask. And $8.00 for a hot fudge sundae?!? Not in this lifetime! Not impressed, not recommending, and not going back.

We had a great experience at Happy Bear Ice Cream! The service was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The ice cream was delicious with a good variety of flavors to choose from—definitely something for everyone. The atmosphere was awesome—fun, cozy, and perfect for families or just hanging out with friends. We’ll definitely be coming back!

DO NOT visit on a Sunday!! If you are looking for confections they have zero! Only a few brownies and cheesecake. We drove over 2 hours to visit this location...what a disappointment! The young lady up front wasn't very customer service friendly! Young girl and older woman kept saying we are out we only make them on Monday then let them run out...maybe make a little more for the folks who travel to visit the location or put note on website to come earlier in the week if you want any confectionery items. Very disappointment with this visit and we will NEVER visit again!

Horrible customer service. We were excited to try Happy Bear, but it was a huge letdown. They advertise a banana split, yet don’t have bananas, strawberries, or pineapple — which are literally the main ingredients! When our kids tried to make small modifications to their milkshakes, they were flat-out told no without any effort to accommodate. The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. Definitely not the friendly, fun ice cream shop vibe we were hoping for. Won’t be back.

They have great choices for ice cream, the area overall is really fun and the decoration inside is really friendly and over all just males you happy. I 100% recommend if you are visiting the McCaysville area!

Happy Bear Ice Cream was a life saver today as the sun was blazing around 85F outside and we were in the mood for some ice cream. Surprisingly, Happy Bear had great and unique choices and flavors. I got Coffee mixed with cookies and cream and Brown Butter Bourbon flavors. The prices are good and the place was clean.

Our favorite place to get ice cream. The salted caramel is the best, but goes fast. Atmosphere is awesome and great friendly service.

Super cute, clean, and well set store. Prices were mid to high depending on what you're looking for. Only complaint is you can't enjoy browsing without overbearing sales people ooogling to make a sale or pestering you about what you're looking for. That's not the environment for me.

We visited Painted Pony while on vacay and walking in this store made our day! The women who worked there made us feel at home, welcomed and helped us in every way. We even left a jacket before getting back on the Blue Ridge Scenic train ride and they personally brought it back to us before we left! A lovely small park along the Toccoa river, with a big dog park area, if you want to let your dogs off the leash! There were a dozen or so deer grazing in the field on the other side of the river, in the middle of the day.

That's where I trained at before I came and did the Arcadia National Park I walked around that little Loop right there with my backpack to make sure I can handle the weight whenever I came up here and did this park

Clean, well kept in a beautiful setting next to the river. Two fairly new huuuge fenced-in dog parks. Kids playground, covered picnic area and clean restrooms.

The river was up and muddy but the park is a very nice area to go fishing without having to hike over rocks and down steep hills. There is a nice boat ramp at the end of the parking area where you can put in kayaks. There are plenty of beaches and picnic tables alone the edge of the river where you can sit and enjoy a break. The restrooms could use a little work as both men and women’s were dirty and in need of cleaning.

Such a delightful park with full access to the river. Good for fishing, canoeing/kayaking or a picnic by the riverbanks. It was a beautiful early fall saturday afternoon and everyone there was quietly and respectfully e joying themselves and the good views

I love the big musical instruments. We take the dogs to swim in the river. Also, the kids swim in the river. They have a large grass area where I love to dance and blow bubbles

They saved the best for the last. By far the best gift shop and novelty store in the entire area. It’s just beyond the river walk to the end where O’Reilly auto parts is right next-door. Dominic and Christine has really put together a beautiful store and they are profoundly kind people. I highly recommend a stop in for the most diversity and quality products. 🇺🇸👏🏽🐺

Chooch is one of my favorite stores in the area. They always have something new, and I’ve found several one-of-a-kind items for my home here. The owners are fantastic, and it’s been a pleasure getting to know them more with each visit. The prices are very reasonable, and so many of the pieces are handmade and truly unique, which is something that I value highly. The variety is also impressive... you’ll find something for anyone on your gift list, and chances are you’ll discover something you didn’t know you needed until you saw it at Chooch. This shop isn’t just for tourists, it’s a true gem for locals too. Highly recommend!

This store is SO cute. I love the handmade cowgirl hats. I got three pairs of earrings made by the owner for under $20. I couldn't believe the great selection of concealed carry bags. You can't even tell that you're carrying.

HIGHLY recommend this place. The staff, including the veteran owners are very friendly. Their business started from a good cause, which they still support. Many of their items are hand crafted, which means unique and quality selections. They also had complimentary hot chocolate!

Stayed near Copperhill, TN Christmas 2023 and found this unique wonderful store. I was intrigued with the “veteran owned” as 5 of my brothers served. I found the owners to be delightful, the quality of the products awesome and many “one of a kind” items. The store was a refreshing change from the same old china made souvenirs you typically find in tourist towns. Loved it! Check out their store online if you can’t make it there in person!

Lucky for us, our first dinner choice was closed. That sent us wandering and we stumbled upon El Rio. I’d be lying if I didn’t say that Mexican food in North Georgia felt very sketchy to me, but paint me shocked; it’s was pretty darn good. Our server was hustling. She was worth 5 stars on her own. Food was good, plates were smoking hot, but the food wasn’t too spicy. We enjoyed a taco salad and a veggie burrito, both we quite tasty. We’d definitely return next time we are up. We topped the dinner off with a walk around the block and over the river. Ducks were quacking and live music just around the corner filled the air. It was an awesome evening fueled by El Rio.

This was a very sad experience as I always used to go here as a special event with my dad who has passed away. I took my family here to eat when we visited from Alabama. The waitress was rude from the get go. I asked her about the upstairs seating and said "We don't do that!" She gave no explanation and was just very unfriendly. Then the food was sub par for sure, at least it wasn't expensive. To top off the fiasco the waitress reached over me with my husband's plate of food and knocked my drink out of my hand and all she did was get me another glass. No real apology or anything, and I mean it was an entire drink! I was soaked and I was about to go visit family and obviously didn't bring a change of clothes. It was honestly a bad experience. The only reason I didn't rate it lower was nostalgia.

Waitress was friendly, but not very attentive. I had a very spicy meal and no drink for more than half of it. There was also the top to a pen inside of our chips and we were offered… More chips. I would’ve probably done a little better than that if it were my business. A lot of extra charges I should’ve paid more attention to. Should have been around $55 at max, ended up being almost $20 more and I’m not sure where that came from unless the drinks were $10 each, for fountain drinks. Food was good.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. We ate there tonight and my husband got food poisoning. We had a dirty plate that the waitress failed to look at that she served limes on. And my husband has been throwing up sick since we left

This place has a huge crowd during the lunch hours of the scenic railway ride. So you might find waiting here cos of that. However they manage to make you sit depending on the number of people. Food is good and fajitas can be improved. There are two sitting levels and ambience is okay. They can focus on restroom cleaning. Rest was good and staff was also nice and welcoming.

Charming place in Copper Hill, TN. We ordered Pollo Tropical, a grilled chicken dish and Nachos Supreme. The nachos have both shredded chicken and beef, along with beans, lettuce and tomato and topped with a melted cheese sauce. They were both great! I actually went back the next day to get more nachos before leaving town! Nice atmosphere too with plenty of seating. Charmingly decorated with a fountain.

Habanero's is awesome! It's unbelievable how good their chips and salsa are - We kept getting refill after refill. The quality of a restaurant's chips and salsa is a good indicator of overall food quality and Habanero's reinforced my opinion on that. I ordered lunch combo "uno" and it was superb. I hadn't tried the chile poblano before and it was actually really tasty. The atmosphere is nice and the service was pleasant as well. If you're in McCaysville/Copperhill, definitely stop by.

Delicious food, excellent service! This is a great choice if you're riding the Railway as they have a large dining area and fast service. Their verde sauce is very tasty. Chips and salsa were great too!

Delicious and authentic food! The quality of the food was amazing, and the prices were surprisingly low since all the restaurants in the area are priced much higher. The service was fantastic and the order came out quickly. We will definitely return next time we're in the area.

This is a very good experience. They had some of the best ceviche and shrimp and chicken that we've eaten in a long time. The flavor was outstanding. If you're looking for a fine dining with a beautiful atmosphere this is not your place. The prices are great and they do a wonderful job.

Went there as a family of 5 with 2 adult meals and three kids meals plus drinks came out to around $50-$55 during lunch and taking advantage of their lunch specials. We were early for a lunch. The food came quick and was good, our server was as you would expect polite , quick and with service in mind. It wasn't busy but when all other staff pays more attention to there phones watching tiktok movies or Instagram it doesn't give the business a good vibe when it is openly done. I feel completely scammed by this place. We stopped in this town on our train trip, and decided to give this place a try despite it being completely empty. Huge mistake. Food was okay but nothing special. My daughter wanted the kids quesadilla with chicken and fries. Can’t remember the exact price but it was reasonable. The manager came over and said they cannot put chicken on it and recommended us getting the regular quesadilla for “around the same price”. We agreed thinking she was being honest but unfortunately she was not. When we went to pay the bill it was over $100! The cost of the quesadilla with fries was over $20!!! Complete joke. We also had fajitas and some tacos. Both hardly worth the price we paid. If you’re stopping by this town, I would avoid this place at all costs. They clearly take advantage of out of towners.

Didn't know Mexican restaurants existed in this area. I came apart of the train tour not expecting to find this place here. I ordered the Carne Asada Tacos and a Horchata Agua Fresca. The tacos were ok, i was expecting steak strips/chunks ans got ground beef but the beverage was good.

We placed an online order yesterday, and we were so unprepared for how delicious their food was! It is as authentic as you can get within a 100 mile radius. The flavors are so deep, there are many options to choose from, and they sell different items like tres leches. The food was on time according to the estimate, and it was piping hot. We highly recommend this place!

If you’re in the area looking for authentic Mexican Food, go check out this place. We got the Torta Asada, tacos asada, tacos de lengua(cow tongue), shrimp tacos and kids quesadilla de asada. All the food was so delicious! The tortillas as handmade, so the tacos taste much better. The hot sauces were spicy, just how we like them! We will be coming back again when we are in the area!

They would not let you order an odd amount of tacos if it was different meat. Never in my life heard of that. I guess they have the meat measured out ahead of time for 2 tacos. They brought my ice water out in a huge plastic soup container instead of a glass. The wattress was obnoxious and talked too much. Then the chips and salsa came.. The chips were nasty tasting. We canceled our order and left.. Disgusting. We came in on the train.. we know what good mexican food taste like. As for the good reviews on here, must be from locals who have Never tasted good mexican food..

Absolutely delicious burger and fries with accommodating service and unprecedented speed of preparation. Likely the highest quality and most reasonably priced food truck I’ve encountered (I perform professionally at wineries and breweries and encounter a new food truck roughly each week).

Awesome food !! My wife and I had heard great things about this place! So last Weekend we decided to gave them a try. The food is so great the hot dogs with coleslaw is awesome. We took the Funnel cake home to eat. Going back this weekend to get more of the great food.

This absolutely had to be one of the worst places I have ever bought food from. I got a philly cheesesteak sandwich that cost around $16, which I probably should have realised right than there this wasn't going to be a place I would see myself getting food at just because of the cost. But I have never got anything from a food truck or whatever you would call them, so I just thought maybe all food truck related stuff would be expensive, because it's got good food. That wasn't the case though because my sandwich was the size of a hot dog. It had no sides or a drink. Than to my surprise it was absolutely disgusting.

This was so disappointing. First, when we walked in and were alerted they only had chicken & pork at a BBQ place that shouldn’t been the first hint. We sat down anyway to give it a try. My party was 9 people, and I know bigger groups take longer to serve but we were there over an hour, and the place wasn’t even busy. It didn’t need to take that long. And once we got the food, it was absolutely not worth the wait. The mac n cheese was gross, basically watery noodles with fake cheese. The pulled pork was dry and no amount of barbecue could save it. The cole slaw was alright but nothing magical. Really the only thing I tried that I liked was my friends chicken caesar wrap- but this is a barbecue place, like come on. The one good thing was our waitress was very sweet and did her best. I didn’t catch her name. Really wished we would’ve tried somewhere else to eat so we didn’t waste so much time waiting, and for food that wasn’t even satisfying.

I stopped in here looking for good bbq and this place gave me what I was looking for. The Brunswick Stew was so delightful, it was hearty with a savory and sweet taste, the brisket in it was tender and full of flavor. My wife had the pulled chicken plate, the meat was juicy the toast was buttery and perfect, the mac and cheese was decent i prefer my Mac and cheese baked this wasn't. The cook was very welcoming and kind in fact the whole staff was great, they hooked us up with banana pudding which was pretty good. Overall I really liked this restaurant old town homey vibe, the bathrooms were clean and kept and the service given made you feel like family. I will definitely come here for another visit Im excited to try more.

Great service and even better food! Two of us had the fantastic Brisket Plate — one with potato salad and BBQ beans, the other with tots and coleslaw. Others went with the Rib Plate, paired with tots and mac & cheese, and one tried the Tater Hill piled high with pulled pork. Every dish hit the mark — flavorful, well-cooked, and served hot. Stateline BBQ is definitely worth the stop if you’re looking for quality barbecue and friendly service.

Me and my friend ate here for lunch, it was awesome! We got the bbq tater tots and the pulled pork sandwich and fried okra. The fried okra tasted fresh and the batter was very crispy! The best ever. The pork was very tasty with their bbq sauces. Service was really great even tho they were busy when we came in. Very clean atmosphere too and I noticed a 100 on their health inspection! Servers were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. A great place to stop on your way in and out of blue ridge.

Came in for the first time for lunch. We met the owner, Michael. He had us try the brisket and it was by far the best brisket we've ever ordered out. Very tender and perfectly spiced. We had ordered pulled pork and tater tots and they were wonderful. Super friendly staff. Will most definitely be back again.

Traveled from Nashville to go rafting and stopped in here for lunch , got a lb of Brisket and it was absolutely amazing better than I’ve got in Nashville for sure . Would definitely come back here . Sides were fresh and amazing as well !!!

We went whitewater rafting and were famished, so we got a recommendation from a local to check this place out. Thankfully, we went during the Friday afternoon lull before dinner. We heard that sometimes they sell out! Service was quick and efficient and the food was very good! Not the best BBQ I’ve ever had, but it’s in the top few. We loved the tater tots and the stew! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the music as well, and spent some time exploring the town on the Tennessee and Georgia border!

Probably the most delightful day one could ever spend on a river in North Georgia. Andrew knows where every single fish in the entire river is - I think he knows each one of them personally. Leading up to the trip, he let us know how the fishing was looking, and when some rain the night before changed things up, he had us put in the river at a different spot, and within 3 minutes of the boat shoving off of the boat ramp we were pulling them in. I also brought my 3 year old, and truly - if you are wanting to take a kid fishing in North Georgia, there is no one better than Andrew. One might think - wow, there is a lot that could go wrong taking a 3 year old on a fishing boat for 5 hours. Not with Andrew. He was great with my daughter, was better at keeping her entertained than I was, and 5 hours felt like 2 because of how much fun we were having. Not only was he an incredible fisherman & fishing guide, but a tremendous person. You could do no better than a day of fishing with family or friends (or heck, just by yourself) on Andrew's boat. We will be back. (He'll also take awesome photos for you the whole time, so don't worry about that. Somehow, he'd have the net out, fish in our hand, and his phone out with a picture snapped before you could blink)

Had a great day with Chandler Teems and John Porter. They are fantastic people and taught me a lot that day. We definitely made a day of memories and friends for life. They worked hard to put us on fish and done a great job at it. 10 out of 10 and I do recommend. I will definitely be back to make more memories with these guys.

While on vacation, my girlfriend and I stopped in here one afternoon just to peek around and ask questions about the local fishing, we were greeted by the nicest fella(Chandler Teems), who gave us pointers, lure tips, and all of the equipment two out of towners would need to get on to some fish for a day...even a hand drawn diagram on where to find fish in the water, and how best to approach catching them. The experience we had in this shop was wonderful, and we would really recommend stopping by if you get a chance. in total, we caught 11 rainbow trout thanks to the help from Chandler, and it made our experience one we wouldn't forget.

Cute little park with walking circle and benches, got a huge facelift recently. I feel like every time I go there is something new and fun. Public exercise area, little rive access and outdoor bbq area. Small park for kids. Perfect little spot to go out and take a walk on some even ground and enjoy the sunshine.

Lots of Geese feces everywhere, but so many lovely swings near the river, and outdoor gym equipment. Cornhole was nice, but a basket to keep bean bags off the ground would help keep the bean bags poop free.

Nice place 2 play b-ball, walk dog r self, work out. Just watch the water go by. They have a dock to sit on and a boat launch.

Very quiet and clean. No shady people or B's going on. Very family friendly. A place for relaxing, instead of hopping not to run into drama. Love how they just don't do that there. Pretty river with ducks and exercise equipment and walk trails. Play area and picnic and grill area.

They really refurbished it in a way that is quite nice. Great little playground that even incorporates simple machines to work out. No buildup of geese poop.

I love walking in the park in the early mornings or late evenings. Always clean. I just wish the walking trail had more light at the every back. There's exercise equipment and covered picnic tables and a restroom. Nice fishing dock and play ground.

Who know that hot candle wax could be use as "ash away". Christmas Kisses, was an experience. The fragrance was light enough not to know it was there and the feel of the wax was smooth enough to know it was on your skin. Just note, the prices are like those at Bath and Body Wokrs but without the lotion feel. I recommend Christmas Kisses, Grinch, and Bahama Mama. A must visit.

The best experience in Copperhill! My cousins baby has eczema and she used this on him for a few weeks and cleared it all up. We cannot skip out on going to this store when we visit! The owner is such a sweetheart and all the workers are amazing and take their time to explain products. They can even make lotions in specific scents if they don’t have the scent you want on the shelves. Last time we were here we got the Utah salt flats candle and WOW! It smells heavenly. They made me a “love spell” lotion that was in an adorable mason jar. We just recently visited and they have unscented lotion as well. The store overall is very comforting and welcoming. Best part is they also ship the products out so when you run out and don’t have plans to visit, it’s conveniently sent to your home. The prices are more than fair. You will pay the same amount if not more at bath and body works but you will definitely not get the same quality product as you do here! I cannot say enough good things about this store!

I can't say enough about this place. The ladies are wonderful and the selections are awesome. I have gone there at least 5 times because I can't get enough of the great scents and selections of candles. I look forward to the new season scents they come out with each season. I'll be back again next month, September, for the new fall scents. Plus a few of the older scents. They make great gifts. But it's hard to depart from them so I have to buy more than one of each.

The staff here are amazing and very friendly. They explained how their products used natural ingredients and that they are poured in house (love that!). I ended up snagging a Sunset Coffee lotion and boy am I glad that I did. The formula is non-greasy, hydrating and smells amazing! This was our second trip to the store and I will definitely be back the next time we are in the area as we are from Ocala, FL.

If you want AMAZING candles, this is where you have to go. They are so creative with their scents and they are fantastic. I never buy candles anyplace else. When I visit, I always ask what I can smell that’s new. Lol. They will also fill any container with any candle scent which I do often. This place is a must if you enjoy candles!

Guys!! This place will get you in trouble. She has SO many scents, and these AMAZING candles have a lotion, or soap, or body butter or all 3 to pair with it! And the candles… they are made so amazing. I DO NOT buy or own a SINGLE candle (until I walked into this place yesterday and bought a couple) because of how toxic candles are. And she makes hers non toxic and safe for everyone around! This is the place to go for some amazing candles! I am so thankful we built a cabin 5 minutes down the road bc I will be here every time we are here!!

My 11 year old daughter is young but very serious about her interest in minerals. Mostly to support her art of creating original characters that have certain powers which are obtained through natural elements of the universe. She recently had lost a very important crystal that her and I had done some spells on to help give power to it. She was devastated. I've been wanting to try to replace it over the last few months but have been limited due to both finances and access as we're new to the area and don't have many connections yet. We randomly stumbled upon both the town of Copperhill, on a winter break road trip, and this gem shop itself. I was excited to have found a gem shop, knowing that happiness for my daughter lied within, but was also nervous because I wasn't sure how much it would cost me. My daughter and I both did a quick sweep through. She spotted some targets while I scoped the prices from a distance. Thankfully, this place had extremely fair prices. I knew which items would grab my daughter's attention and quickly assessed that she would be able to get not just one item but perhaps multiple. She spent at least 30 minutes just browsing and enjoying. I think she was trying to figure out which one item would the best for her but when I finally spoke out and told her a monetary number that was reasonable for such a memorable experience she started to break things down. She was extremely happy with the few items that we got, so was I. One thing that I personally loved even more than the products was that amongst an entire road trip full of trump flags and confederate battle flags I finally saw an Equality sticker and it was on the outside door of this shop. My daughter and I both felt safe here and we will definitely be back. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜✊🏼🌍

I always enjoy going here. As a local, I just try to do it when the train is NOT in town. But if you aren't a local and coming in on the train, I highly recommend stopping in. The owner is great, very knowledgeable and has a variety of treasures you'd love - from salt lamps to semiprecious beads to fossils and lovely agate book ends. Best of all these treasures are not overpriced. Go visit! You won't be disappointed.

Staff is so kind! Place is clean with a good selection of rocks, crystals, and minerals. There is even some local stuff. Also fun novelties. We bombarded into the store near closing time with two toddlers in strollers and I circled the store a good 3 or 4 times to make sure I saw everything and that my decisions on my purchase were accurate. His smile never wavered. I am excited to get to go back. Sorry, no photos. We had two toddlers in tow.

Had a great selection of pieces in vast sizes as well as numerous varieties of natural mineral formations. Very good pricing and very good customer service. Will definitely be stopping in again!

Several signs threatening to shoot loiterers. Inside seemed like a cool unique place, but the man and woman were far from welcoming. If I remember right there weren't prices on the beer either which is always annoying.

Great selection of beverages, snacks and bait for fishing local waters.

They do NOT sell liquor or cigarettes and the beer is double the price than any other store within 50 miles. The owner should be ashamed. This is the first to show up on Google search for liquor store the owner knows this but enjoys scamming people.

I like the beer selection here. as well as the prices. great little place. i only dont like one thing. the tip jar at the counter inside . its honestly obnoxiously big for one but for two why do i need to tip you? the tip jar at the drive through is also ridiculously big but at least i get why its there and have no problem giving a tip because of the fact you provided a service that made it so i didnt have to come in or go get my beer. definitely looking forward to visiting this place again.

Most expensive beer store in the country!!! Not by a little but a lot!!!! I’m a local regular customer who use to only shop here. Not no more I try to pick up beer in blue ridge. I only shop here for convenience . Only reason I gave 2 stars is for the staff great people.

Great place to get lost in! The store is much bigger than it seems and full of treasures. Happy to visit a store in downtown that was truly unique as many shops around are lot of the same thing to look at. The prices were more than fair, making it hard to not pick up everything to take home. Glad we popped in, and even happier with my finds.

I hate to degrade any business but I had the worst experience with this business. They take goods on consignment. I purchased one of their goods on FaceBook. I drove over an hour to their establishment and the item had been sold. The owner didn't communicate with consignor that the item had been sold. The worst part is the owner was rude with me after I told her I had driven over an hour. There is a way to treat people and it could have been handled differently. Both the owner and the Consignee were at fault. I realize things happen but this could have been rectified with a little hospitality and a gesture of good faith.

Just left this quaint little local shop on the River. I had so much fun shopping for our new home. Reasonably priced. Owners are so sweet. Get out and enjoy your liberty before it’s taken away. Shop and support ❤️

This place was CLEAN which really makes you want to take your time and peruse everything - there is SO much to see, too! The pricing is incredibly fair - I had my hands full and paid less than $20. I love that by shopping here, you have the opportunity to support several folk's dreams. We could've done without all of the Trump crap everywhere - but it's to be expected in the Deep South. I was explaining something to my son when a male there interjected. I told him I would not be discussing politics with him. The woman at the register told him several times to "drop it" and based off other reviews, I think this occurrence happens more often than just during my visit. I thought this was incredibly inappropriate and it would've been a nicer experience to not have politics dangling in the air during our vacation so I knocked off one star. I'd visit again, though, since the folks you may run into may not necessarily be the ones who get your money, so take the time to make your own opinion... while we all have a right to our own of those.

One of the best stores in the area. Has great stuff here and very fair prices. We visit the area every year and always ensure to stop by. We turned up this time on Christmas Eve and they had closed. Owner was still on site and noticed us outside. Came to the door and reopened just so I could come in and buy a piece of wood, even opened up the back yard so we could cut the piece to fit in my car. We will be back again later this year so see you then!

If you like listening to one of the owners/employees talk politics loudly about an election that happened 3+ years ago, this is the place. There's a historical marker nearby about confederate troops massacring men who were on their way to join the union army, but this shop hangs the battle flag of the confederacy & not for sale. So you don't have to look far to see where their sympathies lie. To reply to the response: history doesn't offend me, & unless I missed the sign that this was a museum of made in china goods, I thought this was a place of business. The flag doesn't offend me either, but when you hang it in the same vicinity of an American flag, there's obviously something wrong with it. Thanks for the response, it was about what I expected.

Yes, to this shop! We stopped by from the train, and the customer service from Lenzy Bond was wonderful. I purchased tea as well as vinegar from this store. I was able to taste the vinegar before buying. Lenzy was nice, honest and just wonderful!

The Peach Vanilla tea, 🍑 😍 🙌🏼 Also bought a sampler pack of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, can't wait to try it 😋

I've been and together branches of this store, eveytimenit was a fun and pleasant experience. This place is not that. The clerk was cold and curt and basically ignored us. Not even a welcoming hello. And we went during a busy tourist day. The town was bustling, but people would basically walk in and out of this store. Given its location on the periphery of town one would think the owners would encourage customer customers and engagement. I would recommend going to practically any other branch.

Perhaps add hours on Google and I noticed that they are not visible on an iPhone yet show on an iPad so some websites work would be helpful to the few people that don’t ride the train. Yeah a few of the other businesses are also closed on Tuesday but we are still sorry to have missed you.

I called 10 minutes before close and placed an order for my husband (who was riding a motorcycle to pickup). He arrived right after I called and the employee took special care to wrap each bottle in bubble wrap for him. She went above and beyond! So happy I found this local olive oil store!

I have purchased several furniture pieces from Ms. Anne here. It's getting harder and harder to find little antique shops to visit. This is one of those types of places where you can find little treasures all over the store. Ms. Anne has always been very kind and friendly each time I visit. It's unfortunate that so many tourist come through this area and leave nasty reviews for hard working people like Ms Anne. The locals know what's up.

What a great place to go shop. We enjoyed the variety of gift options. We were on our honeymoon and found gifts for ourselves and our four child in one place. All the gifts are very unique and special.

We were in McCaysville for a 2 hour layover between Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad trips from and back to Blue Ridge GA. We stopped in at this antique shop while walking by. It isn’t big, but it has lots to interesting items including a lot of very nice collectable glass. We didn’t find anything that we wanted to buy, but thanks for an interesting addition to our trip.

Tl;dr: Don’t waste your valued time, money, peace of mind, or happy mini-vacation on The Cuckoo’s Nest Antiques’s exceptionally RUDE customer service — to repeat customers. This morning, I purchased two antique coins at The Cuckoo’s Nest Antiques in McCaysville, Georgia: a 1943 steel wheat penny and a 1935 buffalo nickel. At the time, I made my selections quickly, without careful analysis, so my family and I could enjoy the rest of the town during the short window in which the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway train was in station. The older lady who rang my purchase up, with shoulder-length white hair, a little taller, and slightly more heavy-set than her counterpart handling a different customer, was very helpful and nice; she was engaging and had great customer service. During my purchase, she relayed that the encased antique currency display is from a new vendor; she said his wares have done very well since he joined The Cuckoo’s Nest Antiques about a month ago. We had such a good experience, my twin sister decided, about two hours later, to make the same purchase before we boarded the scenic train back to Blue Ridge. She asked me to pick her coins out for her as I am an avid collector, having done so for the past 37 years. I selected my sister’s coins, and she made her purchase. I was more careful selecting hers, so once my twin was done, I asked the woman at the counter — this time, the shorter, slightly slimmer one with close-cropped white hair (her colleague had stepped away) — if I could please peruse the collection once more, possibly exchanging my earlier coins for more attractive ones. She denied me — in an exceptionally rude tone, her eyes full of malice and her face plastered in a sickening, saccharine smile not far from a grimace. “We’re very busy,” she claimed. (No, they were not: No one else was around — at all.) “They [the coins] are all the same; that’s why we sell them so cheap.” (No, they are not all the same; currency quality varies widely, even from coins or bills of the same year. As a nearly lifelong collector, I know this for a fact.) I will NEVER return. Bottom line: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON HER RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If she treats not just customers but *repeat* customers with such disdain, neither she, nor the currency vendor, nor The Cuckoo’s Nest Antiques are worth your time, money, or trouble. I have worked in retail customer service throughout most of my adult life (I am 44 years old), and this is the only reason I snubbed that cashier with silence on my way out instead of the friendly greeting and goodbye ever present on my lips. I much would have preferred a backhanded “Bless your heart” — laced with the profanity or two she earned. Most of all, I feel bad for the store, her wonderful coworker, and the antique currency vendor; they are the real victims in this story. Them — and me as well: Her rudeness and abhorrent attitude were the opposite of appropriate. Don’t be likewise; maybe she will learn a lesson — and hopefully either change her ways or get fired.

Do NOT waste your money on this place! Rude women working here. My husband had a question about pricing, put the items back and then came to ask me what I thought. They apparently thought we were out of the store because I hear them talking about him. “If you want thrift store prices then go to a thrift store.” You can’t even ask a simple question in there. There is a reason why there are other one stars and complaints about them. Stay away!

By far the rudest customer service as a grown man. I pray this elderly lady owns the place because if not she should be terminated. Would not greet us, nor respond to good morning. No prices on many items, I guess depending on her mood or how you look determines the price. I hope the place shuts down and a caring person runs it .

I walked in and greeted a woman who was sitting in a chair. She stared at me but didn't say a word. We looked around, but they really didn't have anything we were interested in, so we decided to leave. As we were walking out, I thanked the same woman, but she didn't even look at me. I then said, "Have a great day," but she turned her head away. I couldn't help but giggle as we left. Her rudeness was surprising, especially since we were prepared to spend money in her store. In the end, I was glad I didn't.

You can’t have this good of a time anywhere else and it’s for the kids and adults alittle bit for everyone great times for all.

What a splendid place. Can you imagine almost 30 years ago this was the exact location that they held parts of the summer Olympics? I mean anywhere in yhe world the Olympic committee could have chosen and this was the spot that was picked. The countries flags are still being displayed and the place is still spectacular with rocks, water, picnic, parking, bridges all in abundance. Sadly due to an arsonist the large visitors center does not exist any longer. However the history of the copper mining, the history of the river, and the beauty of the drive to get here are outstanding. On the way here you’ll pass a gorgeous river, natural springs on the side of the road, one of the first ever in the United States hydroelectric dam and more. Love taking this route.

Stopped for a break at the Ocoee Whitewater center. There is a nice river walk along the river. Hiking and biking trails available on the other side. Plenty of pavilions and tables for picnics. Restrooms available onsite. Plenty of trash cans to dispose of your trash It’s a great place to swing in and relax.

The white water center is no longer there due to a fire which destroyed it. But, this is always my go to place for swimming and just relaxing and taking in the sun and sites. There is a large suspension bridge that you can walk across. Parking is $3 dollars.

Very cool place to get out and explore a bit. Took the family here to go swimming but unfortunately they were not allowing swimming due to strong currents. Still worth the drive out there since it was very scenic driving along lake Ocoee and the river surrounded by mountains. We ended up going back up the road to a pull off that had a "beach". Kids had a blast swimming and i was able to fish right off the bank shortly up a trail.

The Ocoee Whitewater Center is a neat park where you can safely enjoy the action of the river as it streams by. With trails and prime viewing spots to watch the rafters tackle the rapids, it’s a great place to relax and take in the excitement. The park seemed well-maintained and offered plenty of entertainment for visitors. A fun and scenic spot for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike!

Me and my aunt did the zipline tour! It was absolutely AMAZING! Our ranger guides were bubbly and so helpful. You could tell they loved their jobs. They walked us through everything and made sure we were comfortable with each line. We are beginners and this is a great first zipline for us. Shout out to MIKE AND DAVID at Ocoee Zipline and Canopy Tours!!! You guys rock and we will be back to go whitewater rafting!

It was my first time zip lining, and I loved it. Ella and Carter were amazing and so patient with me. They made the trip! This was perfect for a quick girls trip, and we all had so much fun.

We had a great time rafting for part of our bachelor trip with Nick. He was an awesome guide and very knowledgeable about the area and its history. He provided us with an unforgettable experience. We also went zip lining with Wiley and Gracie. They were fantastic and really knew their stuff! They had us laughing the whole time!

Went with my best friend and Carter,Caroline and Paige were our guides. The overall course has a bunch of fun Ziplines, suspension bridges and ends with a race against someone else! Super fun experience to do while in the area!

Great time rafting the middle Ocoee with my oldest son. Our guide Parrott was experienced and gave us a great experience on the river. Also, Lizzie was great with our whole family on the zip lines earlier in the day.

The game was not coherent and could not handle 10 people. I understand that the game is designed for thirty minutes but, I design escape rooms and was disappointed in the quality of puzzles and game flow. I was in their defuse room and the amount of red herrings is unacceptable. The quality of the room design matched the game well but some features leave the players confused. Also, the game has a bomb and it was not even working.

This place was great! Gary was super helpful and friendly. The Defuse room was awesome! Great variety of tricks and puzzles. Fun experience with a group of 5 👍🏼
