Thank you Marcus palace cinema! Had such an extraordinary experience! We loved 🥰 every moment from the friendly staff to the cleanliness to the great atmosphere top notch the food was amazing! But had to give so much credit to Liz at the take five lounge! She is such an asset to your company she is the most talented most kindest sweetest soul and we need more like her on this 🌍 earth she deserves recognition for her hard work and dedication! If anyone reads this review and goes to this theater go say hi to Liz at the take five lounge she is amazing me and my family absolutely adore her she takes pride in her job!
We loved this place it's HUGE! The theater layout is great lots of fun details to make it exciting. The lines were fast minimal wait time. The staff was all friendly. The food was good chicken sandwich was dry but I'll take that over raw... just add ranch 😆 The French fries were delightful crisp and fresh! The popcorn was buttery and delicious. The theaters were clean and so we're the restrooms. I love the have multiple restrooms for easy access for all theaters. The seats were clean comfortable. We will definitely be back.
I hadn't been to a movie for a long time. It was my husband's birthday and he wanted to see the new Superman movie, which we enjoyed very much. I chose this theater because it was close to home and found it took be very clean and comfortable with it's reclining seats. We chose their order ahead option for our food and drinks with a menu that had far more than popcorn and candy. We got the popcorn and candy, of course, but also ordered our dinner of a burger and fries for my husband and a chicken wrap for me. It was ready for pickup when we got to the theater, with no waiting in line. I think this is a great service to provide. All in all, my husband had a very enjoyable birthday thanks to Marcus Palace Cinema in Sun Prairie!
Seats are comfy, sound is amazing and theater is always clean. Also, the food from the restaurant is so good and decently priced for the amount of food you get. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Delicious.
A superb experience. The staff and assistant manager went out of their way to ensure we got all the discounts we were entitled to. The food selection is better than any other movie theater I have been to. Seats were plush and comfortable. Would be very difficulr to findxant way the experience could be improved. We are planning to go back again soon.
Comfy seats, clean atmosphere, and online ticketing was a snap. Look for deals though; $16 for a cocktail sounds reasonable at a nice restaurant on the square, but for an over sweet single old fashioned seems steep.
In the past couple weeks my family and I went to two separate movies. The first movie we seen one of the seats wouldn't recline. We tried to report the problem to an employee that didn't seem to care about the situation. The second time we went the theater was hot. I tried to call the movie theater itself and automatically get hung up on. I will definitely find another theater to go to to spend 150 dollars a pop on.
Movies are my thing. If you know me Andrew and movies are a huge thing. I used to go to the movies every Friday before COVID and then that came to a halt. But now I am getting to go to one a month and I always choose Marcus Palace as my movie theater of choice. Good things: - It has movies 🎬 - It's got yummy food. And a wide assortment of it. - They do a pretty good job of keeping it clean - They have hand sanitize stations which are nice. - Super easy app with assigned seats so you don't have to have that awkward "excuse me you are in my seat" conversations - They have really comfy seats that recline - They have the nicest staff members. I don't know if they get brainwashed when they first start but we have never had anything but a positive experience there. - The rewards system actually gets you things that are usefull such as popcorn and deals there. - The lounge area is excellent as well if you want to hangout before a movie or after. Cons - Price lol if I pay like 20 bucks for popcorn it better be good and sometimes depending on how busy they are it's hit or miss. - This is a silly con, but as an avid movie goer I miss having a physical ticket for my movie scrapbook. - Laughing at Greg Marcus's intro lol he's adorable, but those things should be updated monthly. We will keep going back and will keep recommending it. :)

I wasn’t planning on finding my new favorite spot when I took a detour off the main road last weekend, but that’s exactly what happened. A friend had been raving about this little bar “ just a bit further out from the east side” with the best chicken wings he’d ever had. Skeptical but hungry, I gave it a shot. From the outside, it didn’t look like much—kind of tucked away and easy to miss. But the second I walked in, the place was packed. Not in an overwhelming way, but enough to know it’s a local favorite. We managed to grab a spot at the bar, and within minutes we were digging into a basket of wings that honestly lived up to the hype. Crispy, flavorful, not too greasy—just really well done. We tried a few sauces, and each one somehow topped the last. The vibe was laid-back, the staff super friendly despite the rush, and everyone around us just seemed like they were having a good time. No frills, no gimmicks—just solid food, good drinks, and a place that feels like it’s been quietly crushing it for years. It’s a bit of a drive, sure. But honestly? I’m already planning my next trip back.
Solid wings place with nicely seasoned fries too. The regular is my favorite followed by buffalo sexy. Cheese curds were good too. Would go again!
I was excited to try their wings, there's so many good reviews..Here's the thing about good reviews in Wisconsin, don't trust them. Most people in this state haven't ventured outside of a 20 mile radius, that's apparent here. Your sauce is unlike any buffalo sauce I've ever had, and not in a good way. From the dry rub to your buffalo they both had a lingering sweet taste and smell along with some kind of floral note. Let me help you with a better sauce recipe. Buffalo sauce - melt some butter, put garlic in it and warm on low until it's fragrant, remove from heat. Add Frank's, dash of celery salt and hit it with an immersion blender until bright orange and emulsified. If you want a touch of sweet then add honey but not too much. Blue cheese sauce - take 3/4 of your blue cheese, add buttermilk, add chives, cream, mayo, blend on low until smooth. Crumble your remaining blue cheese in and stir. Salt to taste. Don't you dare sweeten this. Ranch - hidden valley powder seasoning, buttermilk, sour cream, mayo, whisk together. More issues: your men's restroom soap dispenser was out of soap so you have patrons and your cook spreading God knows what. The soap dispenser is your responsibility, this can make your patrons sick. People of Wisconsin, try venturing out a bit more so you have some kind of general idea about how certain foods are supposed to taste.
Chicken Licks has amazing wings and cheese curds.. I love the dry rub on both, and their homemade blue cheese dip. For those who like some heat they have several levels. My husband likes heat and gets 2x sexy.
Perfect dive bar setting with fantastic food. They have a large bar and lots of seating. The service at the bar, however, was quite slow. The bartender was chatting with friends more than working, but, overall, this is a great place for food and drinks. Servers would be a huge help, but likely keep the costs lower without them. Highly recommend!
The food is so delicious. The dry rub wings are some of the best I’ve ever had!
I have probably had their wings 100 times and for years said they had the best ones in a 50 mile radius. The last several times I have not been impressed. Wings get smaller every time along with the price going up. They are cooked so long that they are dried out. The last three or four times I have said i'm not going back. Yesterday was the last time I will go there unless there is a function. I would have gave 1 star but their blue cheese and dry rub pub chips are still good. Wings are not good and the price is outrageous. Most places have all-you-can-eat for less money and you only get a small handful of dried out wings here. I think they are living on a reputation.
The dry rub is awesome - we had it on wings and tots - both exactly what we were hoping for in a roadside chicken shack. They had great drink options as well! A bit dark and stuffed inside, but honestly it adds to the entire vibe of the place.

Family friendly races, events & the best fireworks in Dane County! The park has new bleachers & an improved sound system.
SO FUN!!! Make sure to bring sun glasses because the dirt tends to spray and irritate your eyes.
This place has some history to it. Seating cut into the side of a hill just on the outskirts of town. Good food and some great racing. It's dirt racing so it gets a little dusty but is expected. Outstanding cheap entertainment for the entire family. Get out and enjoy!
Cornfest seemed disheveled this year. Not many vendors Friday. There was no soda or water served in the beer tent. Food trucks weren't ALLOWED to sell drinks, even though it clearly said,"COLD DRINKS" on their sign. Finally found both at the VFW stand. Organizational nightmare! How many others have to search for something to drink?
Love this track! Been going here for over 40 as a resident of Sun Prairie most of my life! Great clay racing with several different divisions appearing with my new favorite Legends division!
Enjoyed watching the races here on the fourth of July weekend. Races start at seven, but most people arrive before six for qualifying. Parking is free. It's easier to get out if you park from cty N nearest the high school. Easy walk to the entrance (not wheelchair friendly). Plenty of bench seating. The facilities are nothing fancy. I recommend bringing a blanket and some stadium seats. The benches are pretty old but serviceable. Lots of leg room. Indoor concession stand has a shorter wait.
The track is good. And it is small one for Madison, can't expect much out of it. Been there for Monster Truck event. Quite not what I expected but it was decent to spend some time. I will recommend a visit during event times.
Awesome racing! If you have not visited make plans to do so. Tip: bring some eye protection, it gets a little dusty! 🤓

Nice little local hideaway, friendly staff and patrons. Colleen did a wonderful job and there's always something going on. Wednesday is karaoke!
We stopped in with our little dogs, sat out on the back patio and enjoyed a couple drinks!
Good hang out but limited food
I thought this place had a being in the country feel, but your minutes away from several other establishments. We didn't spend much time here but it seemed like a great place for watching sports.
Stopped in to play a round of darts with friends after dinner while in the area. Loved the chill vibe, will definitely stop in again when in the area.
We rode the Madison charity cancer bike ride today and stopped for bloody Mary's on the way back. Great Bloodys and friendly staff can't wait to come back next year great patio to sit outside as well.
Great dive bar! Clean, airy, bartender was friendly. They offer a little sandwich bar free to all patrons during the Badger game. We had a fantastic 1st time experience! !!
I like to review places so here I go! It's a good to watch football and have food during the Badger and Packers games. Nice owner and I did get to meet him during these events. There is a nice section outside to light up a smoke and hear the games but I would at least upgrade the area so there is a TV patched in. Might be nice in the summer though. They have good prices on beer and booze. It is a nice to to stop in and hang out for a bit. Nice people there too. Here is some of the things that do need to be improved: Bathrooms are small but I guess you can just go out back and let her fly from what I was told while being there. lol Sometimes the music is loud in the bar that you can't hear the person next to you. I would definitely change the speaker locations. Maybe a Bose system and put the MTX's out in the smoking area. I know there isn't a kitchen but maybe a hot dog roller like the gas stations have would be nice and cheap. I do like the place but maybe in time these things will improve. So go and check it out and have fun!

A great place to learn about Sun Prairie history and how wonderfully this place is expanding over the years. We loved the part of Georgia o’keeffe and saw her amazing paintings. My kids loved the game with the ball which they played for long time. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming, and make it a nice place to come over again and again. Thank you Linda and the beautiful lady, I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, in taking the time and effort to show us the place and to learn about our culture as well. Above all, thanks for offering all of this for free 🙂
Small museum but very interesting. The curator did a great job and very knowledgeable. I'm glad we took the time to visit.
Walking tour was great. Joe and Jen were awesome tour guides. After, we stepped inside the museum which had a couple of nice exhibits.
We had such a nice time at the Sun Prairie Historical Museum. My child learned a lot about the history of Sun Prairie and so did I. We are looking forward to visiting again sometime.
Very small museum. The guide we had was excellent,
This large collection of historical items is a must see for anyone living in or near Sun Prairie. I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon there and learned a lot.

I stopped in to shop for a birthday gift. Lori was very helpful and knowledgeable. She shared recipe ideas, where the products were sourced from, and more. Thank You Olive + Herb for this GREAT gift I can give for a 70th birthday!!!
The oil and balsamic are both fantastic but the best part is the store itself. The set up is unique, with the oil being freshly bottled only once you purchase it. Lori was just so knowledgeable and passionate about the oils/balsamic. I really enjoyed learning a bit about how they're made.
A great place to buy EVOO. My favorite is the Garlic EVOO. Lori has great knowlege of her products and suggestions on how to enhance your meal/appetizers and side dishes.
Great oil and balsamic selections! Great customer service - helpful and friendly :)
I visited this store today for the first time, and Lori walked us through the process. I hadn't thought I'd ever try olive oil or balsamic vinegar by themselves (vs over a salad or something), but it was a great new experience! I can't wait to use my ingredients soon.
Fabulous specialty store! Staff is friendly and helpful. They share delicious ideas and recipes that work wonderfully for cooks at all skill levels . Their oils are extraordinary , and raise the flavor of any dish. But the real star is their 25 Year Aged Balsamic. It is truly a treasure, and we use it almost daily! It's not just for salads, but fantastic on meats, roasted vegetables, salsas and sauces.
Lori, the owner, and all her associates are very friendly and helpful each time I have shopped there. The store is clean and well kept. It is fun to try all the different oils and vinegars. Sometimes they have classes and events, which we have not taken advantage of yet but we look fwd to attending in the future. Great product, excellent customer service. Glad to have the Oilerie in Sun Prairie. Thank you.
I recently ordered Christmas Gifts from Olive and Herb...Aged Balsamic Vinegar (YUM) and Cherry Balsamic Sauce. Marcia was great help and then gifts arrived and excited my friends. Thanks Lori and Marcia for the wonderful experience and service. It's my go to place...You can make lots of friends with Aged Balsamic Vinegar. Thanks again my friends

This is one of the best maintained “Dive Bar” feel bars I’ve ever been to! Owners are the best and so friendly! Enjoyable conversations and cleanest bar around. Fresh popcorn available for free and overall just a great place! They take pride in their business and it shows!
Great little bar near Sun Prairie. No food, but I have heard you can have pizza delivered there. Probably should clear that with owner before getting food delivered. Free popcorn. Pool table, darts, slots. Worth your time to stop.
Brittany is the best!!!! This place is unbeatable for a towny bar. You can not beat it. So much fun, respectful, and the perfect bar for around the corner. Popcorn delish
I remember when this was "Margaret's " and she opened early on Sunday for the husband's of the church going ladies--back in the 1970s. We spent a lot of evenings there and lived a nice walk done the road.
Very nice, friendly country bar. No food service beyond popcorn.
Just a great bar...so glad they're back open again & didn't close permanently under the draconian restrictions here in The People's Republic of Dane...always friendly staff behind the bar
Great place for happy hour, good service, reasonably priced.
Alex and Brittney are the best! Always greeting us by our names and making us feel welcome! We love that they always have new and fun drink options to offer. They spend time with their patrons and goof around, they are very fun to be around! This is a great locals dive bar and very clean and relaxing atmosphere! And don't forget the free popcorn!!!!! Love them!

Worth venturing to downtown Sun Prairie to visit this store. So much to see and the vintage brings some great memories. I can never leave without finding something fun to buy!
This is an AMAZING BUSINESS offering unique handmade crafts from talented individuals in our community. This shop has VINTAGE items & little treasures people don't want anymore gives others opportunities to cherish. They offer seasonal items which are fun to add to your home. I especially love the METAL ART & the WISCONSIN crafts. If you need a PACKER OR BADGER GIFT, Wire Basket has interesting gifts for their fans. EVERYONE needs to shop to support this wonderful business which is an asset to SUN PRAIRIE. Their PRICES are so fabulous you can purchase for your loved ones on your holiday shopping list & still have funds to buy yourself a few presents, as well. 🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁🎄🎅🤶
Was there for the Wine walk, great store, wonderful staff, amazing atmosphere! Looking for great gifts? Looking to spruce up the man cave (or babe cave!)? This is the spot, true 10/10!
It's a beautiful store!! I found many items ready made to purchase as gifts. The store also sells vintage items that you can bring home to decorate with AND it's like a history lesson and museum all rolled into one place.
Such a great store! Something for everyone. Woman that owns the store is so kind and accommodating. She is willing to negotiate a price if she is able. Some items are on consignment. Antiques, new items. Clean.
Such cute decor for sale. Lots of vintage items and great staff!
They need to update their hours on Google because I’ve tried to stop by three times and they’ve been closed every single time!
Good selection of vintage items, handmade soaps, etc.

Love this place. Great wines. Super staff! And hats off to the Lorie and Damon for letting us hold our wedding here.
Stopped in on Valentine’s Day to grab some wine for my wife and I. Craig helped me find some wines to choose from that would suit our taste and all staff was super friendly! The truffles are also super good!
Wow!! This is a fantastic place! I went for one of their WINE-O events, and this one benefited the walk to end Alzheimer's, and it was sooo much fun!! This place is great and the people are even better! I will definitely be coming back for more of these events! Such a great variety of drinks and the service is phenomenal!! Highly recommend!
What a fun afternoon we had tasting wines! The price was reasonable and the people were knowledgeable and friendly. Come alone or with a group, comfortable either way! Highly recommend!
A great discovery for wine lovers. Tried a wine flight and shocked to find 4:4 were awesome! Pwrhaps unjustly we feared the worst being in the heart of beer & brat country but pleased to find a new go to spot to discover or just enjoy a glass of wine. The owner, Laurie, is friendly and knowledgeable with zero airs, making our visit a totally pleasant experience!
Fun place to meet up with friends, try some wines or beer, play some games, and enjoy the ambiance. Some nice snack options as well. I recommend the charcuterie board!
Went for a wine tasting. It was professionally done with a good selection of wines with great information about the vineyard. The store had an excellent selection of wine. Very neat and clean. Staff were all so friendly.
UPDATE (3/20/18): We went back after speaking with Curtis (owner) who sincerely apologized for the first experience and wanted us to give them another shot. From the moment we walked in the 2nd time we were greeted right away and had a excellent experience from start to finish. We were assisted by Kevin who did and great job and was very well knowledged when it came to the wine and even their great beer selection. I would definitely recommend working with him. After returning and giving them another shot, I can honestly say I will be back again very soon. Thanks again! This was our first time visiting this store and thought it would be nice to check out. My girlfriend and I walked in and we were not greeted or even acknowledged by the lady that was working. She looked at us twice and never said a word. For a newer place you definitely didn't leave the right first impression.

Amazing establishment! Yoga and mat Pilates are definitely my favorite here but the best part is they offer a child watch so if you are a parent you can actually work out without walking up at 4am while your child is asleep. Definitely recommend! Only thing that would be super nice is if members received guest passes to bring friends. I feel like this would be a good marketing move and would be great for members who would like to bring a sister or grandparent once and a while. Please consider!!
Great gym has tons of things to do, but the staff definitely are bias or borderline racist. whenever I see black kids trying to get healthy with there parents and work out a staff member finds them and enforce rules, but when white kids are working out with parents it seems no staff is around to enforce same rules. I been here 10 years I don’t think one staff member knows my name pretty disappointing, but oh well it’s business I pay for the gym can’t expect them to go above and beyond. I do recommend this place, just has a ton of awkward workers who tend to choose who is worthy of that top tier service. I do think they should have an area for kids and parents to work out it’s some kids that are unhealthy and need to work out and they just young in age.
I really like this place. It has everything I could possibly need to workout on my own. It is a great place for the entire family, with all sorts of activities for kids. They have classes if you like groups and have personal trainers if you need some guidance.
After joining for the 3 month swim program, I was unable to continue due to not getting the time slots that worked for me. The GM of the club reached out after I requested a refund and was very friendly and helpful about refunding my outstanding time. I did like the facility but did not like that you could only book lane swim 2 days in advance.
I have been a member for 3-4 years now. So many options I feel like I should be using more... I do CrossFit and play basketball while sprinkling in some pickleball and free weights. In the summer my kids enjoy Dolphin's Cove. I'm over 20 minutes away but this gym, the staff, and the friends I have made there make it worth the drive.
Incredible facility. What a gem just outside Madison! The guys who play ball in the morning are amazing individuals. The staff is great. They should add an ice machine to the facility. 🤙
I would love to give them all 5 stars, but the pool area is just killing me. Otherwise there pretty great. Avoid the shared pool/toilet or venture at your own risk.
They’re so mean and also they wouldn’t let me go in because my mom couldn’t stay all that time and they were really rude andAll the staff hav an attitude
