First time visiting from Maryland. This place is amazing. Courses for my 10/11 year olds and then a more challenging for the 20 year old. The staffing is super friendly and attentive. They watch over, but don’t get involved unless your struggle.. there to help for sure. If we ever make back up this way… definitely will do again!!!
1. Safe 2. Fun 3. A great workout for the body and mind 4. Fresh, clean, air direct from trees no more than a few feet away 5. Nice, helpful, supportive, professional, caring staff (Thank you, Maddy, Dillon, Ian, and the rest of the team) 6. Special attention to ecological sustainability in their operations — they don’t talk about this unless you bring it up 7. Whether you stick to base camp, or take on hemlock’s revenge, it _will_ be a very uplifting and positive activity for the entire group
Our family loves Ramblewild. It was so much fun to bring our friends with us this last time. The best part is the individual attention and coaching we received from the staff, if we needed it, like I did :) And my kids were able to go ahead and move more quickly on the course with one guide while another guide stayed back with me at my pace. There are 8 long courses which are uniquely exciting & make my kids want to keep going back for more. Have been to a number of different ropes courses in NY & MA and Ramblewild is by far our favorite. Oh, and they make their own maple syrup which is delicious.
This place is a ton of fun, that also provides a pretty good workout on the harder courses. The staff was great, and the scenery was beautiful. I would absolutely recommend to anyone.
Highly recommend Base Camp experience !! I had 2x 6 year olds and an 8 year old with me for the adventure. I wasn’t able to find many reviews for the Base Camp so we stopped before making the reservation. There was no one using it when we stopped so they let us take a quick peek and check it out. All the staff, especially our main guide, Maddie were awesome with the kids. She explained everything so they understood and was excited, energetic and patient when needed. We had 1 that was scared of the zip line at the end of the course, Maddie was so patient and after a few attempts and a return to the training ground, she helped her overcome her fear and then couldn’t stop her from doing it again!! All the kids were sad when it was time to leave. It was challenging and exciting for both the kids and I. Highly recommend and can’t wait to get back to do it again!
Wow! What an experience! We had never done anything like this before and it was amazing. The gradual increase in difficulty coupled with a friendly guide made us feel so comfortable. Absolutely beautiful setup among the trees with lots of shade. Highly recommend!
I had an amazing experience at Ramblewild Adventure Park. 4 hours is plenty of time to do the courses and even have a little picnic! The staff is very welcoming and supportive. They also give tips on how to go through an obstacle, if you need it. I definitely recommend to go there if you like activities!
We love Ramblewild and have been multiple times. Basecamp is great for ages 4-10 while the high ropes course is a blast for older kiddos and adults. The forest is magical and cool on a hot summer day. The staff are kind and knowledgeable. A must visit!

This is not only the highest point in Massachusetts but also the best place to see fall colors. This reservation is very well kept and organized by the MA DCR, the visitors center has good maps, and great service. The trails are well marked and in good condition, as are most of the roads. I cannot think of a better place to visit with nature in the Berkshires.
It's a great area and there are like several trails that branch off but you can follow markers. There are waterfalls and cascades through the trails. Flippin beautiful.
Incredible Views. I always wanted to visit Berkshires and Mt. Greylock was the cherry on top. We drove up from the visitors center to the very top and climbed the tower. It was beyond amazing. I could sit up there for days just looking down at the town (I believe it's Adams) below. It felt like I was in a foreign land. I am from Eastern Massachusetts and I have been as far west as Greenfield but I've never ventured any further than that. We took the Mohawk Trail over to North Adams then stayed in Pittsfield. We left the next day and climbed the mountain. We stopped along the way to check out some of the views on the way up but nothing was like the view from the top. We climbed the tower which was amazing, then stayed and looked at the view for a little while longer before heading back home. I highly recommend taking the trip. To anyone, even people in the area it's a must see. If you're from Eastern MA like me, and have never seen it; or another state entirely, it's an experience you don't want to miss.
Sweeping views from the top by the tower. Many hiking trails of varying difficulty to choose from. Visitor Center staff are knowledgeable and provide up to date info on trail conditions. Bascom Lodge at the top has a limited menu of breakfast/lunch stuff, and also has great views.
Superb views from top....3.4k ft height...car road up to top and many trails all around...about 2.5hrs for hike to top.
Beautiful trails. Great dcr guides downloadable with QR codes at the visitor center. Bradly Farm loop highly recommended
Beautiful drive up and outstanding views from the top of the tower...4 sets of narrow stairs to climb, but worth it!
There is a wide variety of trails to hike here. They are well marked and maintained. We have done two. Expect some steep inclines and steep declines. Thick forests, open meadows, spectacular views on a clear day. You will earn the views believe me, these are not leisurely strolls and there are some challenges which by overcoming are a reward as well. Dog friendly. If you bring a dog bring water. Right now the streams are pretty dry. If you like rocks as I do you will see some cool stuff and spend time clamoring over them. You can spend a few hours burning calories and stop at Bob’s Country Kitchen or the Stone Forge afterwards to replenish. Enjoy!!

A quiet little shop a little bit off the beaten path, but well worth the visit. The apple cider donuts are as good as any we've ever had, and we were fortunate to get them warm just off the fryer. The honey crisp apples were absolutely perfect: sweet and superbly crisp. My wife and I took a second trip to the shop on another day just to get more donuts. Make this a stop on your itinerary North or South as you visit The Berkshires.
My mom and I came here yesterday, it was my first time picking apples from an Orchard. It was a lot of fun.
Terribly Rude owners. In the past I've asked about honey crisp apples and they've told me there are tons in the back. After spending 28 dollars on a bag, the family found next to nothing up there. This year I asked if I could look first. They said there were enough honey crisps up there to fill the entire store and would not let me look. I asked if I paid for the bag and found nothing, could I have my money back? They said sorry no refunds. The rude older women at the counter said.....well there's enough up there of all varieties to fill you bag, I responded "Yeah right enough honey crisps to fill the store eh?!!!!" I will never return. They are old and mean and should give it up.
Couldn't have had a better experience. My partner and I went to pick raspberries- red and black. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our time in the orchard. Blueberries and red currants are also in season in July at the farm and the fruits looked especially delicious. We got a tray full of berries for $20 something, what a great price for such delicious fruits on top of the fun time. Since then, we've been return customers. The shop has pre-picked fruits if PYO (pick your own) isn't your jam... there's also many other wonderful treats.
Great apple picking experience. Amazing apple cider and apple cider donuts.
The people working are so incredibly friendly & helpful! The apple cider donuts are delicious! My family has been coming here since I was a little girl, and now my husband and I bring our little girl!
Love this farm. We went blueberry picking here and have been to the farm stand quite a few times. The picking was a great experience, very affordable and my toddler loved it. The grounds are very pretty making for great photos as well.
What a magical apple farm! Beautiful scenery and kind owners- and oh the pumpkin pie slices are heavenly!!

We really love having a nice, well maintained, family friendly bowling lane in Pittsfield. The addition of an outdoor 18 hole miniature golf course is a wonderful opportunity to spend more quality time and also enjoy the beautiful Berkshires weather! The course recently opened and we brought the kids today. It’s “pirate themed” which is fun and I am sure as it gains more popularity, they will add even more cool decorations over the years. K&M has revitalized bowling in Pittsfield and now is offering another fun activity for families! I wish them lots of luck and hope that everyone comes to play a round or two.
Cute little mini golf place. According to their website, this is a women-owned family business. I appreciate that! I always make it a point to assess if an establishment is LGBTQ+ friendly. There isn’t anything that specifically gave me that impression, but also nothing to the contrary. Was very family friendly. The course itself is small but lots of fun obstacles. Fair prices to play. I didn’t use the driving range but it was busy in that area and it all looked very well maintained. Worth a stop in.
We had a great time. We went at sunset it was stunning. The miniature golf course is made with adorable and beautiful 'props' along the way. The staff was super helpful and friendly. One of the staff members even went around with us to take pictures at the end. That was really kind. And of course the 19th whole was a fun added bonus. one of us won a free game. If your in the neighborhood i would definitely recommend dropping by.
Decent mini golf, $9 a person and driving range. Plus a few fun yard games.
Great miniature golf course. It is very well maintained and has fun hoes.
Super cute and fun minigolf nice time to spend. Driving range was nice and big with both shaded tee boxes and grass
Driving range and mini golf only. No restroom. The basket of 120 golf balls was $10. Good value. Mini golf for seniors was $7.
Definitely a fun time and experience for someone who's never been golfing before Definitely would recommend this place 👏🏾

Amazing Park is good for hiking, dog walking, or mountain biking. Also, just for enjoying the namesake, the Balancing Rock leftover from the Glaciers. There can be horses(or just their piles) from nearby farms and properties as well as people using atvs and dirt bikes. Some of the trails lead off to private property and also to the State Forest.
The rock itself is a site to see. You can park right next to it and walk around it. Many picnic tables are located around the rock. There are hiking/walking/ATV trails in the park as well. However, none of them are very well marked. The park could help itself by marking these and/or providing maps. Overall, nice place to go.
My daddy, his siblings & his cousins grew up on Balance Rock Road. It was known as Bouchardville. My granddaughter is the 4th generation of Bouchards to play in this park & walk the trails.
We love going here every year!
Nice place. Car can go near to the stone. There are multiple tables for picnic.
This is a quiet, lovely place to just walk around. The rock is awesome but my favorite part is just walking around the area. It seems so apart from the world, even though it is just a mile or so off a main road. Parking is very close so easy to get to without being a strenuous walk.
It's a cool place to see and just sit there and wonder how the rock became perfectly balanced in the air. It does have some graffiti unfortunately that was blacked out with black spots. They kind of get in the way of photography. There's a hiking trail that branches off from the rock and fairly easy to find.
Well kept park for a quick picnic lunch... would like to see the graffiti cleaned rather than just painted over...

I thought I had lost my purse in the theater (it turns out that I left it in the car) and the staff was SO amazing trying to help me find it. They were all so friendly and helpful. Regarding the theater, the seats are super comfortable, the walls between theaters are soundproofed very well and even if someone 7 feet tall sits in the seat in front of you, it doesn't obscure your view of the screen. I love this theater. 😊
What a great place! We drive the extra distance instead of going to the closer and more popular theaters in Albany. The reclining seats and extra room are so much nicer. The prices are also quite reasonable compared to other theaters. And a surprisingly good beer selection.
Love these theater seats. Prices are a bit high, especially for food, but reclining seats and a small personal table and cup holder seem worth the ticket price. Areas are clean, bathrooms too. Staff are friendly. Movies are current. Parking lot is huge and free, handicap accessible.
The theater itself and the employees were great. Comortable place indeed! The only downfall was when I looked at what time the movie started, then I planned accordingly. I walked in and to my surprise they had beautiful reclining chairs! The movie was suppose to start at 1:35pm. At 1:55 pm they still had movie previews they were showing. I went there with a family member that lives in the area and had a two hour ride home. Glad I made it home before fully dark.
Deducting one star for the number of previews prior to the start of the movie. The movie was suppose to start at 7:15, but due to the excessive number of previews, which had to be about 8 at least, the movie didn't actually begin until about 7:40. Other than that, and the concession prices, which others have complained about as well, my experience was great; I especially loved the reclining seat, which was very comfortable. Would I recommend Regal Cinemas? Yes, but make sure you bring enough money.
Wow. They have refurbished this cinema. The new reclining chairs with footrests are remarkable. Went to see a popular film at the last minute and ended up in the front row left (oh, did I mention reserved seating!). With the reclining seat I was able to enjoy the film from an angle that would have given me a sore neck in any other cinema!
Nice theater with good seats.... If you don't get a broken one or one covered in food. They have started becoming laxed with cleaning theaters in between shows. Many screen have damage to them and need to be repaired as it affects the movie.
A welcome discovery on a ski trip with little or no snow. We saw StarWars here and it was a warm comfortable place, with large reclining seats and foot rests. Spacing between rows was wide; even with the foot rests up, people can walk past without you needing to move. A great value for an $8.25 movie ticket.

I used to go here on business, to the Best Buy, years ago. I'm now going here on business, again, to the Target. The Best Buy closed a few years ago. Upon arriving at the Target I was saddened to see the state of the mall. It was fun when I would wander the mall when Best Buy was there and open now there is only the Regal Cinemas and Target. The state of the mall and the parking lot saddens me. It looks like there should be stray dogs, or like it could be the potential site of a zombie apocalypse. The malls of "Eastern" Western Mass aren't doing too well either. However at least they continue to use the space The Hampshire Mall has become kind of an entertainment mall, they've made the Eastfield Mall into place where there are flea markets, and people can walk on the weekends. The Holyoke Mall has a Planet Fitness and Round One so entertainment. I could be wrong but it doesn't look like the Berkshire Mall is being used for anything. It just looks like dead space. I gave it a two because the Target is still doing well and the theaters aren't that dilapidated. Thankfully there aren't roving dogs and there's no such thing as zombies. But I feel like space should be used better, I am coming in from far away and just doing like one visit on business a week so I don't know it's story. I know the infrastructure in the Berkshires is different than that around Springfield. Can this infrastructure be used better? The bike trail near the mall is improving. The Berkshires are a tourist attraction. I guess the point of this review is that the space should be used better.
I visit this mall in 2008 on a timeshare visit in Lee, MA I remember this mall was crowded and packed with a lot of stores. I was out here recently and just kept driving past the mall when I seen how empty it looked. It's like the era of mall shopping is starting to go.
If you want a vast, echoing, empty ghost town, then this is the mall for you. There are, I think, six stores remaining in here, two of which are nail salons. When we were there, nothing was open in the food court, so I don't know if any of them are still in business or not. Someone is still watering the trees, because they're threatening to grow through the roof. The parking lot is pitted and cracked and full of debris, the entryways are filthy, but it does have a Target, so there's that. The mall has been in the news down there recently, because the owners have not been paying any taxes. This is no surprise, I can't imagine they've generated any income in the last decade. This is truly the Flying Dutchman of malls, ghosting silently through the night into its slow dissolution.
This mall is dead. Nothing here besides a Target, a Regal Cinema and a nail salon. I don't even think the food court is open anymore. If you're into dead malls, this is a place to check out. BTW, the trees all through the mall are fake........
