Such an amazing campground. Beautiful spacious spots with lots of trees. When kids are out of school its really busy. They have regular bathrooms with water. No water at the spots but there are spickets near. The beach isn't huge but its nice. They kept it well maintained as well. Don't come here to be loud and party. Game warden and sherif patrol often. There are showers also but cost a little bring quarters. Nice picnic tables and fire pits. Enjoy
We visited to get outside before sunset. We visited during the dry season, so the smell is a little strong. Overall, the trail wasn’t crowded and it was a soothing walk
This state park, which features a lovely flowing river and offers options for camping and day picnics, including a group picnic campground (tent only) where RVs are also permitted, although without electric hookups at the campsites. We have enjoyed camping at this park for the past two consecutive years. Overall, we find it to be a good park. However, during our recent visit, we did have a few concerns regarding the upkeep of the campsites. This time, we experienced a significant presence of red ants and spiders at our campsite, and there was also a noticeable amount of windblown, cotton-like material throughout the area. Additionally, we found that the fire rings were positioned very close to the wooden benches at the campsites, making them somewhat impractical to use. The campsites themselves also felt rather small. Best part is its availability to reserve 😊
Great for new hikers, flat with many opportunities to lengthen or shorten your loop. Well maintained and clean..
$10 fee to get in for day use. Picnic tables, bathrooms, trails, and river are available. Trash cans provided.
Lots of little spots to bbq. The water was a little hard to get to, but same is said with going to some beaches. Overall it’s a really fun place to go enjoy nature, water and have a bbq.
Caswell was a nice campsite. Drawback was a lot of mosquitoes.. plus.. shades and water was really nice. Be careful.. not safe for dogs in the water due to tide
Very strange place for a state park. Our campsite was not the greatest. The size difference compared to all the other camp sites was lame. There were a lot of ants and mosquitoes. That aside the river water was pretty clean for location. Water was nice and cold. Small beach but still fun. Over all was worth a visit, don't know that I would go again.

I visited today 9/13/24. Friendly staff. The place is under new ownership and is no longer Denise’s Farmer’s Market and Kenny’s BBQ. They were selling a variety of local honey, corn nuts, and jerky (including a local favorite Psych Ko’s jerky) and provide free samples. They also had some snacks and refreshments. There are plans to open a restaurant that serves pizza and Mediterranean food. I can’t wait to go back and see what’s in store.
This is way too absurd. Me and my family came thinking it was Denise’s farmers market, but we found out it had new ownership. She came up to us and started asking us questions, talking much, and trying to promote her expensive business. She was overly excited about her new business, and at the checkout we only got 2-3 things. Total was 40 dollars. I checked my receipt as we were leaving as we were saying how nice her business was going to be. She basically manipulated and lured us into buying her stuff without checking any prices. Matter of fact, prices weren’t even listed on the items. How unprofessional. Here’s the Big Bang. At comparison for A1AG farmers market located in Stockton, I think it’s six pounds of honey in a big glass jar for about 30 bucks. For one pound of honey in a jar (I think it’s one pound) was priced 30 dollars. Wow. They mentioned it was purple sage, and it tasted amazing even though I hate honey, and they said it comes every 7 years. Everything was way too fishy so I did research. It doesn’t come every seven years from what I saw. I could be wrong but I’m just saying. So disappointing. I though this place actually had potential
I love this market. It’s a great local spot for BBQ, Snacks, Pies, and Produce. One of my favorite seasonal items is their Orange Dew Melons. You can usually find Kenny and his dog Hunter there who are extremely friendly and welcoming. Stop by if you’re in the area.
Been here several times, got the same thing each time. BBQ chicken sandwich, hold the lettuce & tomato. Had previously come with plenty of chicken, and a good amount of sauce. Not this time. Told the young lady behind the counter we were all hungry from being on the road for 6+ hours in the pouring rain. Was looking forward to some good eats. What we were served was pretty pathetic (didn't know until we were far away & opened the bag) . The amount of chicken we got on all 3 sandwiches put together would have been on one of the previously ordered sandwiches I've had. We were also given 3 tiny servings of BBQ sauce on the side, in those little plastic cups with a lid the size of a silver dollar. Went out of our way to stop here because of the past experiences I had, but I'll think twice next time. Oh, and pay attention if the shop dogs are around. They are extremely friendly, but will try to eat your food if you walk by them carrying your to-go bags down low.
Great place for truckers to stop and get fresh fruits and BBQ. Very nice and friendly employees.
Stopped here on the way home and there was a great selection of fruit! The yellow cherries are super sweet. The apricots and peaches are great! And I was even more excited to see a huge selection of honey. My all time fav... Honeycomb! The ladies who work here were super friendly too. This was a nice farmers market. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.
Super friendly people! Really cool unique pumpkins and delicious nachos. Fun little patch for the littles to play in and take fun pictures. 10/10 will go again
Very nice lady working here! Tins of fruits, nuts, and other delicious treats!

The visit at The Lucca Winery was awesome an it was my baby sister birthday Felicite as well as both of our first time going to a winery an a wine tasting. When we first walked in we were greeted by a warm welcome by Mr. Chuck which gave us a lot of information on the company an the owner. Of course we cannot leave out the two darling sweethearts Mr. Don & Mrs. Gail who served us our wine an shared with us the names of the wines an how the wines were named. Very informative great conversation an such kind spirits. Thanks again you guys for such a warm welcoming an great tasting wine. May God continue to bless an expand the business.
Great find. When looking for the winery in Modesto area I come cross this little family own vineyard. Great service, interesting vines a lot of different varieties of it. Wish could stop there on Saturday when they have live music.
This winery is so good and adorable! The staff provided great information about their wines! We sat outside and tasted with some salami and cheese . We loved them so much we joined their club. Highly recommend!!
Great experience, super nice place, amazing choice, and the best part is that it's local. John was super awesome and knowledgeable. Highly recommended
Very nice local winery. Get off the highway and see this little gem. If you’re planning a trips must stop.
Absolutely fenomenal! The guys here are so great and genuine, amazing people who know their wines. Great wine selection for good prices. Had our first wine tasting here and it was a 10/10
Love this winery! So friendly, clean & fun. I enjoyed a flight of white while my husband had both white & red. We enjoyed it so much we became members!
Honestly needs to be said. I tried 24 wines here and I am giving it a 1 start because these are some of the worst wines I have ever tried. The whites are beyond terrible and all resemble a strange urine and asparagus taste. The ambiance and location are lovely so if you are going for that the safe wines are the Syrah and petite Sirah. Pretty much everything else has a really off smell and taste. Be aware if you are into wine and have tasted anything else. If not you may enjoy this place. Staff and location are nice it’s just the product that is getting this review.

I didn't have any food. Such a great little place and nice people. Everyone, including the owners, made this old stranger from Texas feel right at home.
This is a dive bar at it's best. Locals come out to hangout. Live music and Djs are offered some night which makes it a plus. Pool tables are usually crowded.
I love this bar! It's my kind of place! Great bands. Awsome DJ Lamont & many other fun things to do at the Inn.
Very cool chill bar. Nice people patrons and bartender
Great local bar, room for live music and dancing. Friendly atmosphere
Great dive bar! A whole lot of fun and great drinks. Need more food options though!
Compact but spacious interior..the KJ is courteous.. the atmosphere is very accepting

Great park to bring dogs and go for a walk. Grass is very green and the park is well maintained. Would live for them to make a fence though for safety though due to fast roads near by.
I can't give 5 full stars because parking can be an issue for sure. We had an 8 am game, and another at 12 pm but because of no food allowed inside, we packed a cooler and were very happy with our parking spot right outside the gate for fields 5 and 6. Can't comment on the snack shack. If you arrive before 9 am, your own coffee is allowed in. We had teammates leave that had to park in the far parking lot upon return. Baseball, the sign says "no pets". However, I did have my service dog along, but not in her vest or identifiable as such, and I was not questioned. I saw one other golden doodle pup too (don't know that situation) looked like a family pet. So, I suspect it may depend on who's at the gate. For us, it's an hour long drive so our other pup stayed home. Just know the rule is "no pets" but you may or may not get in with a well behaved pup. We were on field 5 and could also see field 6. They both seemed well maintained and turf was in decent condition. My players' only complaints were having to wear turf shoes in the outfield which is grass. It was slippery because it was wet. For those used to places like Twin Creeks that have indoor food seating and a bar, this is not that place, but the experience on the field was good for us and had warm, friendly adults and youth at the gate.
We went for a softball tournament last weekend. The location is convenient- right of the freeway - and in the middle of some almond? Orchards (not sure since we went in winter and the trees were bare) There are baseball fields and batting practice cages adjacent to each other. Plenty of parking - although you might have to walk a bit at times depending on play time. Restrooms are old but clean - they ran out of soap by the end of day 2! The park is pretty strict about not bringing in outside food and seeds etc so there is a bag check … although I did see other people with food inside so……the ‘cafe’ has decent offerings of food - nothing for vegetarians except muffins and the usual snacks. There are some restaurants about half mile up the road at the highway though so if you need to grab food quickly, there is some available nearby. Look for the ‘smaller’ water tower if your directions aren’t working :)
Parking is an issue. The facility itself is wonderful. But there are many less than desirable aspects to this park as well. Entry fee is high, but that is typical to sports parks. Like most parents I take issue with snack bar prices. I understand the want to make money and not permit people to bring in their own food and drinks, however, when its cheaper to buy a hot dog at a big league ballpark than it is at a kids sports park..... well, you get the picture.
This is a very nice park. It can be crowded at times, there are4 or 5 baseball diamonds that are frequently used and it's often full of soccer games during the season. When sports are not being played it is pretty peaceful. Lots of people walk their dogs here. There are water fountains for kids to play in. Overall very nice.
Beautiful sports park! if you like sports photography, I would recommend this park due to lack of obstructions. Looking forward to going back.
The soccer fields are excellent and very well maintained. It’s dog-friendly as long as they’re on a leash. Full off parking spots.
Great place for small kids to cool off and run around. The park has a nice little splash pad that starts up at 11am. The bathrooms are regularly cleaned and lots of room. The playground is big and fairly new. The grass is ridiculously green in the field and it’s very well mowed and maintained. They have lots of room for soccer fields. The park also has a number of softball fields and baseball fields. The only issue is there’s not a lot of shade unless you’re under the picnic table area. They planted a number of trees but they’re still small. I know this is a very nice park and I highly recommend going if you have small children.

I had an outstanding experience at Barn Wood Arms! The customer service is top-notch, and Craig truly went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. He made the entire process seamless and was incredibly knowledgeable, answering all our questions and offering great advice. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a priority here. I’ll definitely be returning for any future FFL needs and highly recommend Barn Wood Arms to anyone looking for excellent service and expertise!
This is a great, small local gun store that treats you well. I bought a very high end scope there with the help of Dallas, who really knew his stuff and helped me pick the right one for my needs. It sat in my safe for a couple months before I got out to the range to sight it in before a hunting trip. I then noticed a small manufacturing defect. It wasn't huge, but not something I wanted to let slide for the money I paid. I was worried I would have to send it back to the manufacturer for warranty and be without it for several weeks. I called up Barnwood and they told me to just bring it back. Dallas swapped it out, mounted and leveled the new one for me, and even bore sighted it. I really appreciate that kind of service. They could have easily told me I was on my own and to deal with the manufacturer directly. Now instead of waiting to get my scope back right before my hunt, I'll be out putting rounds down range. I've bought a few things there before, but this was the first time I got to see how they treat you when the chips are down. I'll be a customer for life!
I wish I could give this place a negative star. I went through this place to transfer a rifle I won at a clay shoot a while ago. I ended up trading it in for shotgun that they had in stock. From the time that my rifle was transferred there to trading it in, then to pick up my trade in, was an absolute nightmare. I worked with at least 5 different associates and I’m very certain that they all suffer from lead poisoning. From their attitude, demeanor, lack of transparency, and service, I could not fathom how difficult it is to get a firearm from here. They were totally unhelpful and failed to communicate with me multiple times. They would give me attitude for asking simple questions since this was my first time transferring and trading in a firearm. I had much better experience from a gun shop from the Bay Area that I will be going back to in the future.
One of the best indoor ranges in the central valley. Clean, well lit and always feels fresh inside (well ventilated). I only have experience with going here early during the week and have not encountered a wait-list to shoot. The workers are very friendly, laid back and knowledgeable. You will not be disappointed with this range.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, my son and I had a great time. Rental process was super simple, we were on the range within minutes of arrival…but we also we went on a Tuesday afternoon, so go early
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly! Always personable and very knowledgeable. They also have a indoor range which the kids and I had fun at. Great selection of firearms to rent and try out as well. Only complaint is the mark up on some firearms tends to be higher than other local shops. But overall worth checking out!

An amazing variety of rare and beautiful cacti and succulents. Everything has a label and They have great prices! Lots of massive plants on display as well. You're definitely going to need to take more than one trip to this place!
An amazing place to see and purchase a diversity of cacti and succulents. In the early summer months flowers are going off and make a feast for the eyes
A truly amazing inventory both in terms of variety, sizes of various cacti, and some unusual rare specimens. Poots is far above any other cactus supplier in northern CA with good quality and value. If you are in the Bay Area it is definitely worth the drive to Poots. The staff were great, and very helpful. It was also wonderful to have so many size choices for the same species.
It is an absolutely amazing place for those who love cacti and succulents. Large and small specimens. All price ranges - from $3 and up. You will be in awe!!
Lots of really adorable little cacti, as well as quite a few big boys. Prices aren’t exceptional, pretty standard as far as I’ve seen, but the selection is great. Aside from the inventory, they have one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever seen. The whole place is so well put together and maintained, it’s honestly worth going just to enjoy the scenes.
What a lovely place! The family was so friendly. The prices are average, but it's still worth to go have a look at all the plants. There's such a wide variety of succulents and cacti. So many rare finds and helpful advice at this place. 🌵❤
Fairly decent sized succulent/cactus nursery. Bigger doesn't always mean better though, and this place has some great quality plants. Besides having single plants for sale, they also have some planter boxes and pots decorated and ready to go for more price. They have some rare plants that are hard to find/grow, so it may be limited to one purchase just to be fair. Staff is very helpful with any questions you may have about watering/care you may have.
I never knew this place existed until today. It is the best cactus farm i have been to. Such a selection. I love it, and i will definitely be back. It is well taken care of, and all the cactus are up to par.
