Really good place to visit even in summer vacations but this place looks beautiful like heaven in early winters the road is not really bad but will not call it good aswell this ghat also connects you to amby valley it's really worth visiting this place where I'm going around tamhini ghat. But be care full it's a little risky place to stand and have pictures clicked at independent point a small mistake can cost you your life. there are 3-4 viewing points in same line if you find the location crowded just go a little more to the same road you'll find other viewing points of the same valley

Since June 2023, they have put fencing all around, benches, guards etc.. and entry of 140₹ per person! Good that Grampanchayat is making revenue maintaining the place but took away natural beauty.

Breathtaking Scenic Views, but Pricing Concerns Independence Point offers an absolutely breathtaking panoramic view that's worth every moment spent there. The natural beauty and serene atmosphere are truly captivating. Until last year, it was free for everyone to enjoy. However, my recent visit left me a bit disappointed with the new entry fee of ₹140 per person. While I understand the need for maintenance and development, I personally believe that a fee of up to ₹50 would have been more reasonable. ₹140 feels quite steep, especially when compared to the previous cost of admission which was NIL. Additionally, it's important to note that they only accept cash for the entry fee, which can be inconvenient in today's digital age. It's advisable to carry cash with you if you plan to visit. Despite this setback, I still recommend Independence Point for its awe-inspiring views, but I hope they reconsider their pricing strategy for a more inclusive experience.
