It was pretty quiet when we went there. Food was good along with the service. Had issues with other Old Chicago restaurants but this one was good.
Do NOT go here until they fix whatever is going on. I love Old Chicago, but something is horribly wrong at this location. I know we are all dealing with short staffing, but if you have to close and regroup… you must. There is no quality control on what they are sending home on pick up orders. We ordered $100 in food. We had four salads and one of them was 1/4 serving of what the salad should be. It was as if someone grabbed half handful of old brown bagged salad and threw it in a container, and then forgot the salad dressing. The cookie that came in the taproom pack was burned and a chunk was missing, understandably the result of loading it from the skillet to box, but still… it is not supposed to be this dark brown. The young boys trying to hold down the host stand were doing the best they could, however it just seems like they are inexperienced? It is just a mess in there. No one cares about quality, obviously. There is no management of what the kitchen is sending through on these orders. I want to support them, but something it is not okay. To spend this much and not get what you order, is so sad. Let’s figure this out guys. Regroup. Don’t go down like this.
If there is Zero 0⃣ from 5 I will give them I didn't ate their food, I stayed for more than 20 min on the dinner table with out any waiter passing by me, they were seeing me but serving others, when I went to the desk man after 20 min or more, he said :They will come to you soon. (he was very cold when he said it) This the first time in my life a restaurant treated me like this. No water, No menus, no waiters came to me at all, like I was invisible. Respect Worth the stars ⭐ more than food.
Worst delivery order I have received. Placed order at 6:30. Order wasn't ready until 2 1/2 hours later. Pizza was overcooked and cold. Cheesecake were plain, missing the "Fresh Berries" Drinks never made it. Door Dash issued a full refund due to the poor quality. Will not eat or order from there in the future.
This Old Chicago used to be our go to place. I'm not entirely sure if it is because of COVID, understaffing or them just straight up not caring but it has gone down hill big time. We ordered online to go last night and our food was awful. It stated it was going to be ready at 6:28 pm, when we arrived they noticed that they forgot to put our pizza in the oven. It wasn't ready for another 35-40 minutes. By the time we got home with our food, everything else was cold and stale. The Italian Nachos were burnt and had little to no cheese and toppings and came with no spicy marinara. The Chicago Fire Calzone had buffalo sauce in it, when has it ever come with buffalo sauce? Even the menu doesn't mention it. The pizza we waited forever for was average at best. I sympathize as I've worked in the industry and understand the struggle but this is probably the 3rd time in a row we have come here and it has been absolute garbage. I guess it is time to stop giving them a chance and take our money elsewhere.
I paid almost $50 to have this show up at my door. The fact that this even left the restaurant with anyone on the staff thinking it was an acceptable pizza says it all. Management like this should not be rewarded with business. One picture shows what it’s supposed to look like and the other is what showed up.
Today we went to Old Chicago, Broomfield and it was the worst restaurant experience in my lifetime. Heather, the manager was incredibly rude and accused us for complaining unnecessarily for the food. The kids’ pizza crust was incredibly brittle and un breakable. And she continued to argue while she was practically screaming, making a ridicule of us in front of the entire restaurant. She refused to listen to us at all and WE FELT INCREDIBLY INSULTED. We have visited other OC branches and are quite fond of the food but this experience at the Broomfield branch completely obliterated our opinion of Old Chicago. BEWARE OF VISITING THIS PLACE!
I ordered a large Chicago 7 thin crust and a garden side salad Friday. I don't think the pizza had any cheese and only had toppings on maybe 2/3 of the pizza. I had to microwave it to soften the crust because it was so overcooked that the crust would shatter when I bit into it. The pizza was $26 but as bad as a cheap frozen pizza from the convenience store. The salad container was only 1/3 full and consisted of lettuce and croutons with some carrot shavings and two cherry tomatoes. That's a very bad salad for $5. I emailed the Old Chicago in Broomfield where I purchased this lousy food but they don't care enough about their customers to respond. Six months ago my wife ordered a pizza for pick up from this same branch. When I arrived they knew nothing of my order so I ordered the pizza and waited for it. A month later my credit card statement showed two pizzas. I don't know why I didn't contest those charges. I will never buy anything from this restaurant ever again and suggest no one else does either.
