We went on Friday of the Easter weekend. We ate dinner in the restaurant there. I asked about gluten-free food, and the lovely waitress brought us a piece of notebook paper with handwritten food they serve. Mostly desserts. I ordered plain chicken wings. Very clean. I'd give our waitress a 5 star if I could. She has been working there for a year. Anyways, she was so lovely, personality wise. We headed to the slots, and my guy won some. His winnings totaled $666, good laugh with the super friendly cashier about that total. When I went outside for a cig, the security guards were present and quite courteous. I felt safe going outside by myself. Great place to be if you want to get out.
Today my partner and I went on a double date with our mutual friends to the Windward Restaurant (the restaurant attached to the casino). I’m new to the area, so it’s only my second time dining at the Windward. The prices are super fair for the food quality and portion size. They have a moderate selection of food with lots of comfort food choices. Their selection includes pizza, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, salads, appies, and a few other items. They have a large selection of cocktails as well. Additionally, our server Mark W. was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, and had great timing. He would check in with us at all the right moments without feeling overbearing. Overall, I would say this restaurant is a hidden gem and a must try if you’re visiting Gananoque, ON.
To: Management, Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands Subject: Formal Complaint – Unacceptable and Unprofessional Experience on July 20, 2025 Dear Shorelines Casino Management, I’m writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the unacceptable level of service I received during my visit to your Gananoque location on the evening of July 20, 2025. I have been a loyal patron of your casino since the day it opened. Over the years, I’ve witnessed a steady decline in both the professionalism of your staff and the overall customer experience — but what happened during my most recent visit crossed a line I never thought I’d see in an established gaming facility. At around 7:30 p.m., I approached the cashier’s cage to cash out $125 in chips. I waited for over 12 minutes with absolutely no staff in sight. Eventually, I noticed a sign saying someone would return at 7:45 p.m. — meaning a single guest, at the end of their evening, is expected to wait 15 minutes (or longer) just to cash out. This is not a corner store — it’s a casino. And leaving a cashier’s cage unattended during operating hours is not only unprofessional, it’s absurd. When I flagged down a manager — a woman with dark hair and heavily tattooed arms — her response was equally appalling. Rather than apologizing or making any effort to assist, she became defensive and dismissive, telling me the cashier was on her 15-minute break and that they “don’t have the staff.” I told her I had already been waiting nearly 20 minutes, and that this was simply unacceptable — to which she offered no solution, no accountability, and certainly no professionalism. Let me be clear: it is not the customer’s responsibility to adjust to your staffing shortages. And it is not acceptable for a guest to wait half an hour to cash out, only to be met with attitude and excuses from a manager. If this is how your leadership handles a simple service breakdown, it’s no wonder the experience at this casino has deteriorated so badly. The message this sends is loud and clear — your staff’s time matters, but your guests’ time does not. That is a fatal flaw in any service industry, let alone one that relies on customer loyalty. After decades of visiting your casino, I will not be returning. I hope you take this feedback seriously, because what I experienced was not just poor service — it was a complete failure of basic operational and managerial competence. 0/10 D-
I recently visited this casino, and I’ve never had such an unpleasant experience. The security guards, Jay and Nicole, were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Instead of ensuring guest safety or providing assistance, they seemed more interested in trolling guests and making snarky comments. What’s worse is how contradictory their behavior was to the casino’s own policies, which are clearly posted on the signboard at the bottom of the front desk. The board states that guests will be treated with respect and that all concerns will be handled professionally. Yet, Jay and Nicole did the exact opposite — dismissive, rude, and completely lacking in customer service skills. When I tried to address the issue or speak with a manager, I was met with attitude and zero accountability. It’s disappointing to see employees who act above the rules the casino itself claims to enforce. If management truly cares about their reputation, they should retrain their staff or reconsider who represents their brand at the front line. Until that happens, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere — and I suggest others do the same.
Went here with a friend and the vibe isn't what it used to be. They seem to be missing key features to attract people. Before there were buffets available, more tables open and when it has more patrons, the place becomes more upbeat. We went to one in Ottawa and it was night and day in comparison.
Had a wonderful dinner and gambled! Walked out with extra money and a very full satisfied tummy! Spent the night in our rv, very quiet area. Thanks for a terrific evening😊
a terrific casino and entertainment center. it's always a good time. the staff are super friendly and courteous. the place is always neat and tidy. the security team keeps everything in order. a great vibe here. we had our emotional support dog and she respected the place while being quiet and sitting or laying down
A completely controlled casino, with zero chance of winning on slot machines (bonuses don't even pay you half of what you've bet) or on tables (the machine that shuffles and deals the cards), plus very few tables open (only one table for 3 players playing doubles) and stifling heat inside. It's supposed to be on the highway and a pleasant stop, but it’s a complete disaster experience.

Slide 1 of 8
Beautiful theatre in a picturesque location. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Perfect venue for the NTS Dramafest!
Recently attended a performance of Mary Poppins with my neighbour. The musical is based more closely on the books than the film, and was altogether delightful! The venue itself is a real gem, perched over the water, with mooring spots right there if you want to attend by boat. The Theatre is an excellent size to host meaningful performances. There are no bad seats! And while the stage initially seems quite small, it is amazing how a good sized troupe, such as that involved in Mary Poppins managed to sing and dance all over the place without any apparent compromise! Performers generally are "miked", so it is a little hard to tell about the acoustic qualities of the hall. Generally however, there were no problems with hearing dialogue. If the TIP regularly provides quality entertainment as I witnessed in Mary Poppins, I would gladly attend other performances there. The only downside to this venue is that there is no parking except for Wheelchair accessible spots. So you have to arrive early enough to drive all around looking for a legal spot to leave the car. A bit of a strain on the local citizens, I would think.
It was my first time visiting and I wasn't sure what to expect. We saw Mary Poppins and absolutely loved it. It was every bit as goox as any broadway show I've seen in Toronto or NYC. I had a hard time understanding the speaking, i thought it was me, but my daughter and granddaughter both said the same thing. The acoustics, or our location close to the speakers, perhaps. We've purchased tickets to another show, so i will update if we have the same problem. The band is downstairs, so you can't see it, but they were great as well. The location is beautiful, and we had enough time before the show to enjoy the scenery. The staff was friendly and helpful, telling us which line would be best for our seats. We had to ask some people at the other theatre by the road where to go, our show was down the driveway to the left and in behind. There is no parking except for patrons, we were there nearly 2 hours early, and we still got the last spot at the end of one if the side streets. Overall it was a great experience and I'm looking forward to seeing 9 to 5 in a, few weeks.
Wow! Saw Mary Poppins last night and we were flabbergasted by the talent of this cast, the music, and set design and transitions. Broadway quality at a fraction of the price. If we could take everyone we know to this performance I'm sure there would be a lot of the same reviews. Loved it! Kudos to the entire cast and crew. Spectacular venue was the icing on the cake.
I highly recommend seeing Stag and Doe! The entire cast did an amazing job, making it a truly fun and lighthearted night out. As someone with a mobility issue, I was especially impressed with the staff's service. We arrived early to get ahead of any parking issues, and a staff member was there to help us right away. The check-in process was seamless, and we were brought to our seats immediately. A staff member explained that they would store my walker during the performance, but assured me it would be available anytime I needed it. It was such a great experience, from the hilarious show to the accommodating staff.
I just got home from the Springer Theatre after seeing 9-5. Both my husband (who generally doesn’t love musicals!) and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Many of the scenes actually caused me to laugh so hard, I had tears in my eyes! Extremely talented cast….the singing, the dancing and the dialogue were extremely well done. So much fun! What a great way to spend an evening. Absolutely recommend it.
Great 9 to 5 play. Outstanding performance. Hats off to all. Theater was very disappointing, no parking on site. Parked blocks away. We had to walk down a large hill to enter. We would never recommend this theater or visit it again. Beautiful location.
Just saw 9 to 5. Best production by far was Mary's Wedding (set during WWII). Also saw Jesus Christ Superstar, it was kind of a disaster. They have a goldcart to take patrons down the hill to the theatre. There's a downstairs lobby with drinks and some snacks.

A very nice sculpture park in Gananoque. Very pretty park with a number of larger sculptures scattered about. The non-bronze signs have not aged well and are mostly unreadable. Still, a fine place to walk.
This is a lovely little park for a picnic lunch and a refreshing break in nature. There is a pretty water fountain, floral gardens and sculptures. There is green space on both sides of the Gananoque River and a lovely bridge which provides plenty of photo opportunities. There are several benches and picnic tables.
This is a lovely little spot for a picnic lunch and a refreshing break in nature. There is a pretty water fountain and created water fall feature where swans, geese and other water birds meander about to entertain viewers. The park is well groomed with floral gardens and sculptures. There is green space on both sides of the Gananoque River and a lovely bridge which provides plenty of photo opportunities. There are several benches and picnic tables throughout some offering much needed shade during the current heat wave.
One of the highlights of our Thousand Island road trip, Gananoque is a little charming gem along the St Lawrence river. This Confederation Park sits next to the town hall and has a few sculptures scattered on its lawn, giving an artsy vibe to the historic heritage.
The park itself is beautiful and well maintained, but the 5 star review for me is the wildlife I find everytime I come here. First it was a groundhog sunning itself on the banks of the river then running to their tunnel system in the hill. Next it was a heron fishing for its lunch by the dam. Came back about a week later around noon and the heron was back, and there were DOZENS of turtles lining the south side bank! You can also spot a bunch of fish if you look closely.
I really like to discover small towns, pearls of the Canadian province, on the way to some city. One of these gems is Gananoque. The park in the city center is small but very cozy. There are many historical points telling about the inhabitants of this town in the past, a lot of historical data. Very cozy cafe where you can drink a cup of fresh coffee.
Nice park in the Brighton downtown area to take some relaxation out of city crowd. This park you could spot swans and ducks. Some chairs and desks are in the park for the visitors. This park has few car spots on the next side of the bridge. Nice flowers 🌸 blooms on the park except winter season. The water is flow from the nearby dam .
Well maintained place with a small dam and water flow. This place calls for a great pictures for photo enthusiasts.

Excellent beer choice and knowledgeable bar tender, I tried all 7 beers they have, each one was well made and quite nice and different. My fav still goes to the IPA, second place goes to their Scottish ale!
A great historic spot serving awesome beers. 5 house brews and some guest taps ensure there’s something for every beer enthusiast. They also offer other great choices for the non-beer drinkers in your group. Earl was excellent in explaining the history of the building, the choices of beers and answered all our questions enthusiastically. They don’t serve food but allow any outside food to brought in and consumed on premises. They even have the choices of nearby restaurants listed… If you’re in Gananoque and love beer… be sure to pop in… you won’t be disappointed!
Friendly service. Decent brewery ! If you’re in town you must stop here. There is a patio so you can easily enjoy a couple of beers under the sun. Worth the detour if you’re on the 401. I recommand this place if you’re a beer amateur.
Delicious beers, charming patio, great staff. Josh took great care of us while we chilled at one of their fire tables for the evening, sampled tasting sizes and pints of their creations, chatted with some local customers and met a couple of dogs. I regret not being able to make it to their Oktoberfest event, but I will be back!
The town of Gananoque is a hidden gem in the 1000 Islands region. We found many local stores and restaurants. One of them was this local brewery where Josh made us feel very welcome and suggested some great beers to try. The complimentary popcorn was a nice touch.
Made the detour from the 401 just to get some to go beers and support a little local Brewery. The building is old and historic, the young lady was very nice and helpful. The beers are excellent.
Great beer, we tried the ale and the pilsner. Both were very good. We also really liked the interior, it was setup nice and the location was great
Absolutely fantastic service by Josh. We held a Birthday Party with our own BBQ and it was fantastic. Great location. The indoor heaters are wonderful. Would 💯 percent recommend this spot.

My family and I enjoyed the museum. Lots of cool things to read about and look at. We had our 3 year old daughter with us, and there was plenty of stuff for her to enjoy and interact with too. Would recommend it for any ages. Donation given to enter.
Interesting exhibits and quaint little gift shop. Clean public restrooms. A welcome escape from the brutal July heat wave. Nice covered adjacent patio for watching the watercraft on the river.
First of all, the staff were friendly and helpful. It was really interesting to learn more about the history of the 1000 Islands. The exhibits are beautiful and well presented. Make sure to visit before 3 p.m., as the store closes at 4 p.m. Please consider donating to this wonderful museum, they truly deserve it! 🫶🏻
What a warm and friendly welcome from the staff! It’s a small area but covers a lot of ground. The museum has no entrance fee but relies on donations from its patrons. There’s a gift shop as well that features a lot of locally-made items. The model ships are extraordinary! A lot of history to take in all at once; it’s nice to feel a part of something “big”.
Highly recommended! We had a wonderful visit, thanks to Julie who gave us a guided tour full of stories and fun facts 👍 You can do it before or after the City Cruise 🚢 We did it after the cruise and it really brought it (the town) alive for us!! Enjoy 😊
Unfortunate “welcome” from a woman volunteer with smug rather rude comments. Second floor has interesting posters on local history. Designed for school groups but interesting nonetheless. First floor empty. Perhaps in renovation? Worth a brief stop.
An interesting and entertaining small museum right next to the docks. We’ve enjoyed our time here. They also have temporary exhibition on a ground level, which we hadn’t have time to see. A small gift shop also available. Admission by donation. Very welcoming staff!
Museum was small but full of information. We were there for about 2 hours reading the history of the area. There is no fee for the museum but they would like donations.

Very well run. Facilities in good condition and clean. Staff is fantastic. Friendly, courteous and ambitious. Definitely going back
Nice marina, very busy. Bathrooms ok, but I felt more comfortable showering on the boat. Lots of slips, pump out, but no gas. Located within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Ganonoque and the beach.
Nice place to park the boat , public showers and bathrooms. They could do more to circulate the water and prevent dead fish and weed build up ..They stink if winds blows certain direction..but the town should definitely do more to help with the clean up they certainly make enough funds off dock fees to employ a large army ..
Great place to visit, clean Marina and facilities, very friendly staff, laundry on site, and pumpout on site, no fuel on site, beautiful views, very picturesque, would visit again, highly recommended! We are here again for 4tg time, the staff are excellent, they've improved their front office and added more items for sale, stocks are solid, power pedestals are in good condition, once again this Marina is highly recommended!
Great marina, clean, washrooms available. Easy access to the islands. Big parking lot, Pulleys available to load stuff into boat from vehicles. Big loading zones for the boats. Busy most of times, make sure you have parking pass or expect a ticket. Visitor parking spots have 1 hr time limit
Great marina, but book in advance they normally do not accept last minute arrivals.
Friendly, accommodating staff. Beautiful, well kept marina.
A very friendly and welcoming marina. We came with friends and there was no fees. We stayed 3 hrs and had lunch in town. Very fun day trip.

Divine experience. Ancient church with beautiful murals over the marble altar and statues of many saints (I tried my best to identify them all haha).
This is another amazing community church, nestled in in heart of gananoque. When I visited the church I noticed the beautiful frescoes and its ovary comforting and you feel welcomed.
Absolutely beautiful! The architecture, murals and stain glass are truly a must see. You feel his presence.
It's a beautiful church and so nice to visit and be able to see the inside as well!
Great church right close to downtown! Great Sunday service. The church is a piece of art, so beautiful inside. Friendly people attending the church as well.
Absolutely stunning. We were unprepared to find this gem as we explored Canada Day Weekend. Our country has so many hidden treasures left to find.

Gananoque Boat Museum Brings history and culture of the St. Lawrence River and the Thousand Islands region to life through hands-on experiences with boats. It's a place where visitors can connect with the past, present, and future of river life, particularly boat building and the relationship between people and the water. We loved our visit♥️
Really cool place to learn about shipping and then enjoy a refreshment or two at the Boatshop Cafe while watching the water craft floating by. The server was super friendly and welcoming. It’s a coffee shop as well as a bar with indoor seating and an outdoor shaded patio.
So we stopped to get our tickets for the 3 hour tour with City Cruises in Gananoque. The town is nice enough to provide free motorcycle & E bike parking directly in front. BUT when we arrived a person who is with the Boat Museum had been kind enough to park her SUV in the bike parking!! When I asked her to move, she VERY rudely stated "we have many cases of beer to unload and they took away "MY" loading zone." That does NOT mean you park illegally. When my Irish Lass advised her I am a disabled Vet, her male companion stated so I am a veteran too!!! VERY poor representation of the Boat Museum!!!
I had a wonderful experience at the Gananoque Boat Museum. The exhibits are well maintained and thoughtfully displayed, with clear explanations that bring the history of each boat to life. I especially recommend joining a guided tour — ours was led by April, who was absolutely fantastic. She showed us two beautifully preserved luxury boats, walking us through the dock, parlour, master bedroom, guest rooms, and captain’s helm. April shared fascinating details about the history and the clever, intricate design of the furniture, and she answered all of our questions with warmth and expertise. Her passion and knowledge truly elevated the experience. I highly recommend visiting the museum — and if you can, take a tour with April!
We stopped here on our way to Toronto Ontario. It was a hot day and the kids enjoyed the splash pad. We took a nice Walk and the views of water, green grass and boats.
Interesting and well presented museum. A one hour tour of the surrounding area on a beautiful vintage speed boat was absolutely fantastic.
Parker and April were so knowledgeable and friendly during our boat tour! We plan to come back and do it again and bring friends…
While I can't speak for the boat museum, they have a great little cafe with some indoor/outdoor comfortable lounge seating overlooking the docks. The girls working were sweet and helpful. Perfect for a relaxing coffee stop!!

Nice park with good waterfront views. Came for a walk through the park while in town for lunch a few weeks ago, there is a nice path that follows the waterfront through, and loops up to a loghthouse and large flagpole and back around. There's a beach and playground in the park as well as an amphitheater and a fair amount of open space. There's also a monument to the history of the region, which is cool to read. Parking could be a bit difficult, spots near the park fill fast, and are skinny, so it can be tough to get in or out of. Overall, it was a nice place to visit, I'd recommend it here.
Lovely spot with a splash park, small beach and amazing walk path. It was a bit chilly so we could not stay too long. I can't wait to return in the summer. Perfect place for nice pictures!!
Very nice place to be. Gananoque is very rich in history and Joel Stone Heritage park defenatly one of them. I really enjoyed my visit here and I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice time out specially during the Covid 19. I would also recommend the 1000 Island boat line tour.
This is a busy little park near the waterfront which offers beautiful views of the river and passing water crafts. There is a tiny man made sandy beach and a small water park and playground for the kiddos.
A small but a very cute park! Amazing view of water. Several benches to sit on and relax.
Beautiful historic site with marina, park and splash pad. Gananoque is stunning, lots to see and do. We rented kayaks and got to see some of the surrounding islands. A very picturesque town with friendly people. Would love to come back.
A perfect place to sit and relax with a picnic as you watch the boats cruise along the river. The park offers swimming, enough space to take a calming walk, a splash pad if you have young ones (or are young at heart) and an ice cream truck. Definitely recommend this park for a sunny day.
Very friendly and an amazing park for the families. There is a beach, fun splash pad for kids to play during summer, and numerous benches for picnic and lots of trees to sit in the shade.

I visited her gallery in Gananoque this month and it was a lovely experience. I met Heather and her husband and they are both beautiful souls. Heather is know for her paintings of trees and those pieces are lovely. It was her her paintings from her wall of courage that touched my heart and one brought me to tears. I would definitely recommend visiting her studio to learn more about her art and how her work helps sponsor orphaned children from the Congo.
We thoroughly enjoyed the art collaboration Finding Frida. Each piece was stunning.
This show was spectacular. It is an experience for mind, heart and soul. If you are a Frida aficionado (or not) you will be “blown away” by the multi-layered exploration of personality, culture and issues. Definitely worth multiple visits.
Went in with my youngest daughter just to explore and expose her to a different type of art than what they are shown/that in school. The people were very kind and friendly. The art was very unique. Like with all art, some I liked and some I did not appreciated as much, but there were a few truly nice pieces. A fun experience.
Beautiful gallery in downtown Gananoque. Heather Haynes artwork is striking - I love her unique style, colour and technique - she conveys such movement and invokes memories with her pieces. I also really enjoyed the art displays from the Arts & Letters Club, there were quite a few pieces I would have loved to bring home - especially the scenic landscapes.
Such a very special space. The Finding Frida exhibit is exquisite and an absolute must-see!
Great gallery. Fantastic host. Simple and informative. Big beautiful dog. Visited from Ottawa because "It's just so close"

The babies had a great time and so did the parents. They also occasionally have programing for kids like rhyme time and song and story events. If you have a little you should definitely check it out. Another perk is if you have a Library card you can job Libby and gain access to 1000 of online books for your phone or e-reader.
My granddaughter was part of the book club that ran every Mondays/ Tuesdays in July and every Monday in August for her age group..I must say that this book club was a special day that my granddaughter looked forward to going each week. The crafts that they did with Pam were a lot of fun even for me to do along with her. The stories that were read by Pam were so cute. I will say that Pam is truly a great story teller. This library is so friendly the kids love it..Thank you to all the library staff you are all wonderful and friendly people..Thank you for putting a big smile on the kids face every time they went there. We are looking forward to visit or attend this book club next summer.
The staff treats you like the dearest family. My favorite place in Gananoque. Pam is awesome.
My wife spends her time in there. From cook books to how too books. Reading story books.
The staff go out of their way to help even if we walk in as they are trying to close. The always seems to be something going on to encourage kids to come into the library.
Nice little library. Not a hug selection but they have access to ebook lending as well.
Amazing place! Staff super nice and always ready to help.
Awesome community hub. WiFi and computers with Internet access

Pretty good skate park. Lots of stuff to do and Interesting gaps around. Rocky stair gap was the best part. Met a bunch of cool kids here learning to skate and damn they're almost better than me. Great place for beginners and advanced skaters, highly recommend if you're in the area
Stopped by on the way home from visiting family in Ottawa. Didn’t even know there was a park tucked away in this border town. The park is smaller than it appeared from the photos i’d seen. There are some unique rock-like features that are skateable and add a neat contrast to the overall aesthetic of the park. It’s in a nice spot, surrounded by trees, a dirt jump track, baseball diamond, and soccer fields. Although not visible from the main road, it’s only minutes from the downtown core. There are plenty of features ranging in size from beginner to skilled. More features than the average park of this size in Ontario. However, the long, narrow layout provides few flow options other than back and forth. Obstacles feel crammed and the lack of open space requires quickness on your feet and constant awareness of nearby skaters/kids. The bowl/transition section is cramped, poorly designed, and built. Inconsistent coping. Some ramps have the standard metal coping, some have concrete pool coping, and some have no coping at all. Personally I would have preferred a midsized miniramp. Overall, this park deserves a 3.5 as it’s a decent little park for such a small town. Creative design elements and the surprising amount of things to skate in a modestly small space make it worth checking out. You could definitely spend a couple hours here.
Without this skatepark during the pandemic my girls would've been so bored. Amazing park, and great people and kids.
The Gananoque skatepark isn't very big but has enough unique obstacles to make it worth stopping by. I always have a great time there and easily could stay for a few hours and not get bored. There is however no shade and it's on top of a hill, so be sure to bring sunscreen or you'll fry. There is also a public barbecue right near the park. I've never used it myself, but it seems like it could be a nice way to extend a session.
Lot 2350 here provides overnight parking. We parked here for 3 nights. There are no machines here for paying for parking. Will have to use the Honk app to pay. Interesting even after paying via the app, i got a parking infraction ticket. I hope that this does not usually happen and was a one off case.
Would be nice if the town took better care of the park.
Great addition for the youth (and some brave adults) in town :) With the BMX track and soccer field right beside it there is lots to do.
Great park! Always a fun session!

Pretty quick walk to have around and that building is beautiful. Don’t imagine something too fancy. It’s still a nice architecture
The boat tours of the thousand islands was both informative and I really enjoyed admiring the many islands and scenary (a good way to admire the sights and relax). Nonetheless, town is too small and there are not a lot of good food options so I would rate it mid tier. Great for any boat cruises around the thousand islands and not great for food/sightseeing
Cute small town city hall with some charm. Looks out of a hallmark movie. But worth checking out for the scenery if in the area.
These clowns want to put a boot on every car with a Québec license plate that gets a parking ticket. Please don't spend your money over there if you're from the Québec province. #boycottgananoque
It was closed. However, Town hall of Town of Gananoque is clean and attractive from outside. like it.
THANKS GANANOQUE for the warm welcoming. People are smily & friendly and take the time to talk, guide you, give you informations. We spend only a day here but we create such beautiful memories ✨
Beautiful building with gorgeous garden and free parking with a free charging charging station in the back of the building. Very convenient.
This city is dirty, the food is discusting and the places I went to were dirty. I don't know why after months of being shut down, this city could be in this condition. Will never come here again. Thousand island tour was nice, bring food from home, just not worth the money to eat here. No excuse for filth.

We were absolutely blown away by the Thousand Islands cruise from Gananoque! 🌿🍁 The islands are so diverse — from tiny rocks with a single tree to large inhabited ones like Wolfe Island. The highlight was Boldt Castle on Heart Island — huge, mysterious, and with such a dramatic story of love and loss. We circled the island by boat and admired its towers, arches, and unfinished interiors — it looked incredible. The audio guide shared lots of fascinating facts about the islands, castles, bridges, and the region’s history. Autumn here is especially stunning: fiery red and golden leaves reflecting in the water, granite rocks creating perfect photo opportunities. It’s an amazing way to see the Thousand Islands, enjoy the nature, and soak up the fall atmosphere. 📷🍂
One of the best trips I’ve experienced in this summer. And it was the best decision to visit 1000 islands. It was so good I had book 3 hours of cruise from Gananoque. And I would highly recommend to book three hours of cruise instead of an hour one as this cruise cover almost all the major areas in 1000 islands. Cruise was pretty spacious but at some point I felt little crowded on the top. They had food and beverages to purchase and had washroom facility. Overall, my experience here was pretty nice.
Beautiful ride but I recommend to take the 1 hour tour the other option is 3 hours but is pretty much the same seenery
Such a beautiful town🌸 people are so sweet & kind.. cruise experience was also amazing. All in all I spent best birthday week there.. would love to visit again. Such positive vibes✨
City Cruises - 3-Hour Tour on a 3-Storey Boat We took the 3-hour cruise and had a great experience aboard a spacious 3-storey boat. The highlight was definitely the view of Boldt Castle—absolutely magnificent from the water. It gave us major inspiration to come back for the 5-hour cruise next time, which actually lets you disembark and explore the castle up close on Heart Island. Can’t wait to do that!
An amazing experience at the 1000 Island Cruise tour. We took the 3 hour cruise and it crosses the Lawrence Bridge and goes up to the Castle Boldt Castle. Try to book the Cruice tickets prior to the day of the tour as it may be fully booked if you try to book on the spot. Best months to go: May-August
A small town. We took city cruise for 1 hr to do the thousand island tour. It was a chilly day. Lovely cruise and we loved the ride. After taking cruise we roamed around the small town, lots of old buildings, piers, dock …
Great Experience on the cruise, Fun if going large group. Nice and clean ship could be a little better for washrooms. On a whole awesomeness level high. Tip: line in well ahead of time to grab a table o favourite spot. Only on when weather conditions are good. Cool captain as well!!
