Beautiful lookout. Paved parking lot leading to a crushed gravel path to the lookout. We had a stroller and used it no problem. Nice little stop when you’re going through the area!
Visited the Captain James Cook Historic Site in Corner Brook and it was amazing! The views over the Bay of Islands and Blomidon Mountains are breathtaking. Loved the bronze statue and the history about Cook’s 1767 survey. Peaceful walking trails, free entry, and a perfect spot for photos and a bit of local history.
Awesome to know about our moments in history for Corner Brook with Captain James Cook. Great view too of the area. Love it. Been there twice and will keep visiting it whenever back home, proud to have this as part of our history for Corner Brook Nfld ❤️ 💙
Lovely spot to get a view of the surrounding area.
Best view of the whole of Corner Brook and the Bay of Islands! Well maintained area with several walking trails. Definitely worth a visit!
Outstanding views and very informative. Worth the drive through the residential streets to get there. PLEASE DRIVD SLOWLY... People live here, kids are playing.
Walk was all uphill from town. Beautiful views. Limited story boards were informative.
Very nice view from the top down to Corner Brook.

It's this incredible little escape, right in the heart of everything. I've walked it many times, and it never gets old. You start near the Glynmill Inn Pond, and it's like stepping into a different world. The trail winds along the water, with the sound of the stream always there in the background. It's so peaceful. I've seen bald eagles, ducks, and all sorts of other wildlife I never expected to find in the middle of town. It's a really easy walk, too. Paved in some spots, gravel in others, but it's not a difficult hike by any means. It's perfect for a leisurely stroll, a morning jog, or just to clear your head. The trail is well-maintained, and there are some cool little bridges and lookout points. It's the kind of trail that makes you appreciate the little things. It's a must-do if you're ever in Corner Brook, or even if you live here and just need a little nature fix.
Great trail in the middle of downtown Corner Brook. This trail is accessible all year long it has some nice scenery along Glynmill Inn Pond. I would recommend this trail to anybody that visits Corner Brook. This trail also extends to other areas of the city besides around the pond.
Great trail but very unfortunate that it's covered with dog poop, especially close to the city.
I just love this trail system. It connects to a ton more trails. They lead all over Corner Brook. Well taken care of and very user friendly. Lots of streams and the fall time is amazing. The sounds of nature is so peaceful you dont want to miss out on. On the plus side no problem to get your cardio there.
Beautiful walk. Came off our cruise and decided to take a leisurely walk in town. Afterwards went to the local brewery that was close to the walk.
Great for morning walks/runs, or in the evening as well. Feed the ducks at either pond. I usually bring frozen peas, bread this time of the year is not the best for their habitat. Besides that they get lots of bread. They have been upgrading the trails all summer with new top layer.
Odd trail. Key to note the pipeline trail becomes the ginger root trail if you want it to loop back. But at the bottom where the stream and lifeguard stations are- First of all a grated bridge? My dog couldn’t get across- hard on his paws- they were being cut and his paws were sinking in. We then walked to the back or end of the trail maybe to an industrial area- kind of sketchy and dangerous and followed signs for the gorge-trail wasn’t exactly pretty- a lot of deciduous trees- but overall directions and signs were graffiti - ied over so we had trouble following the signs. Maybe I’m spoiled with trails but I found it odd. Thankfully we rain into two beautiful souls who were so kind- and even offered their number that if we got lost to give them a shout. I felt blessed as walking unfamiliar trails with a hound dog- can be a vast journey into the unknown! I wouldn’t recommend it as a visitor though. It’s not pretty and it’s mostly a gravel trail along a giant pipeline spitting water, no signs and we did get lost and couldn’t find our way back because it’s all unmarked. I felt like I had been abandoned in a deserted highway, my dogs laws were being destroyed by the gravel road. This is NOT a walk through the woods. You maybe get 15 minutes through the woods. Also view from the top wasn’t anything I’d write home about. Just not a pretty trail at all. Super steep in places and mostly an access road among a pipeline. Don’t bother. Find a better place to hike or stay in the park or drive to a different area and find a nicer trail. I’m noticing No trails on the west coast are marked- pretty scary.
My favorite place to walk around Corner Brook. Lovely blackberries by the duck pond this time of year.

I went on a ski trip here with my school field trip. It was my first time taking a ski lift up to the top of the mountain. It was a really great experience. The view here was amazing. You can even see the road and the river down there.
We are here in the summer for a wedding, during a water advisory (no fault of the property, of course). They have provided more than enough free bottled water to keep us going. We drove into Corner Brook for groceries and made most meals in our unit. The rooms are cleaned and restocked daily as required (keurig pods, tp, towels, etc.). The views from the top of Marble Mountain are incredible.
I recently moved to Newfoundland. Living in a camper with my two dogs. I needed a place I could park my trailer so I could get around to do the things I needed to. They let me stay in their big parking lot for 2 weeks until I could move to the property I ended up buying. Without their help I don't know if I could have accomplished what I needed to. Can't thank them enough.
3rd time staying here Rooms, staff, views, can’t be beat. The perfect getaway! OR stop to and from ferry.
Me and my husband had a good time zip lining to this place . The view is phenomenal . The staff are knowledgeable and they know what they are doing to make it enjoyable for the fist timer. I would recommend this to everyone.
Firstly, I would like to say that I haven't visited the resort in the winter. But....they seem to be not well prepared for the summer season. We had a group meeting in the main chalet and it wasn't a good experience. The noise level made it very difficult to be heard as I found myself and my coworkers shouting at times. It was too warm and the lighting made it difficult to see people's faces. Also, we had a banquet at the attached Bishops bar and restaurant and it was a terrible experience. It was so, so disorganized. Some people got their appetizers and mains together before most others got anything. A couple at my table waited over 1 1/2 hours for their meals. Also, the three fish tacos that I ordered had enough fish for one.....which I did! Maybe they took on more than they could handle but this definitely needs a lot of work. I will visit again before suggesting a visit, or not.
World Class Experience Our family recently booked lessons and a day skiing here at Marble. Everything from the rentals, instruction and food at the resort far surpassed our expectations. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The ski instructors Karen and Doris were especially notable for their skill and patience. Thank you ladies. We We didn’t get the names of the rental staff but they were also very helpful. It was our first visit to marble and we knew it would be busy as it was Sunday so we showed up early. We were delighted with our experience. They certainly have all of the customer service bases covered. Highly recommend.
The place is absolutely stunning, we only got to experience the two runs unfortunately as the weather wasn't cooperating! However, the views extraordinary, even from the lower slopes. Would have loved to see what these ranges have to offer at the top. The resort it's self is quaint and small but more connecting with people. Absolutely child friendly. However, caution on the vehicles you may lease/hire. They supply them with all season tyres. Which is completely unsafe for the conditions it can get like here. Thanks ☺️

We had a lovely little guided tour and it was really nice the volunteers and or staff I believe it's only open during the summer and it's a pleasant little tour and great history on the railway in Newfoundland and the town itself and the Newfie bullet....
Learn about the raill history of newfoundland and explore inside various train engines, passenger cars and other cool equipment! Great for all ages! My boys who love trains spent a few hrs pretending to drive the trains!
I love these old trains brings back memories when I was a kid unfortunately it didn't open till 10:00 this morning and I was here by 8:00 a.m. so I just took pictures from the windows. There was no windows though for the dining cars to see inside unfortunately.
This museum was amazing. I highly recommend the guided tour. Our tour guide, Kristen, was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable
Although was closed for season, was a nice look at some history and some old school technology... Definitely will come back in the reg season..
Me, my father and nephew was here on Sep 13 at 2:13 we looked online for it to say the museum was open till 5-5:30 just for no one to sadly be there, this isnt a nagitave review but please update your online information other then that seeing the trains from the outside was pretty interesting!!!
I love museums where things aren't so perfect and you can still touch things. There's enough to see without taking a lot of time. Half an hour is enough to feel like you've had a decent experience. For $3 admission, you are made a member of the Railway Society of Newfoundland. We appreciated the staff giving us a photo of a faux ceremony where we officially became members. Kind of like being screeched in, but without drinking anything or kissing a train.
A cool site to visit when you're in the town of Corner Brook. You can view the history of the trains and the rail tracks. A nice place to stop by for a visit for the family and get inside some very old trains. Quite historical and it's a museum. Would recommend for a family for sure.

Would highly recommend this place. The site we stayed at was very spacious. The park has trails which lead you to the beach and walking trails with beautiful views. We loved the fact that the staff did periodic rounds. Everyone we met at the park was very friendly.
I camped here for one night. It makes a great base to explore the area. Be sure to check out bottle cove and cedar cove hiking trails! The park also has an incredible hike with amazing views and governors staircase is a must see. The comfort station could use a little love. It's clean but very outdated. The campsites are pretty rocky so it's difficult to set up a tent. It can get a bit loud at night. Staff are very friendly.
Very windy, ask for a sheltered camp site if you have a tent.
Beautiful park not only for camping during Summer season but also for out of season walks and hikes.
The trials are not for beginners, to get to the look out is a well maintained path with lots of resting points but steep stairs. Incredible lookout and beautiful rock beaches. Highly recommend visiting.
The sites are private with mature trees and we had no trouble with our 21' trailer. In the area, we went to Bottle Cove as well as the beach on the campgrounds. You can get WiFi at the check-in point, but there is no cell service. We had to drive to just outside of Frenchman's Cove. There is a restaurant in the area (Myrtle's) and a chip truck (Big Tom's I think). There is also a comfort station, and throughout the park are the cleanest outhouses. The area of Bay of Islands is breathtaking.
What a gem of a place. Make the time to visit!!! Well worth the drive - spectacular scenery both on the way and on arrival. One of the best places on the planet to have morning coffee is on the beach in the park. The staff were really welcoming, the sites are great, and the only thing missing is merchandise with the park name on it; it's so...Newfoundland!
Spectacular views, beautiful beach. Stairs can be tough going up but absolutely worth it

Nettes kleines Museum. Mit einigen Informationen über vergangene Zeiten. (Translated by Google) Nice little museum. With some information about times gone by.
Nice collection of things from the area and a great deal of the regions involvement in global conflicts.
Real informative on Newfoundland's history. Lots of cool artifacts. Also, letters from "war brides " (from England) and their views of coming to a new and different Country. Very reasonable. $10. For adults.
Displays and amount of information was impressive because it did not only talked about Capt. Cook, the settlement of Corner Brook, and the mill it also touched base on the effects of the European settlers on the First Nations peoples of Newfoundland. Very well researched and a lot to look at without being overwhelmed. Did notice some plaques were missing on some display items, but not enough to ruin the experience. However, it is not accessible for those in a wheelchair.

Stopped in to buy some original art from Newfoundland and found a wonderful piece. Service was super friendly and my piece was carefully wrapped to protect it on my trip home.
I’m writing this review as a warning to others not to trust this company with with your art. We have had absolutely horrendous service that resulted in hundreds of dollars of our art work being destroyed. Below are the details of the multiple mistakes and the refusal of this company to take any responsibility for their role in it. A family member used this service to send our art across the country for Christmas. She was surprised it hadn’t gotten here before Christmas, and when she followed the owner told her he had forgot about the pieces and would quickly put them together.  This meant the pieces were late and did not arrive in time for Christmas. When receiving the packages it was very clear the job was completed quickly and with very little regard with the monetary and sentimental value these pieces hold. We had a original pencil drawing that was supposed to be placed in wax paper as to not be damaged, it was not and instead placed in plastic with an incredible amount of tape that made it difficult to unwrap with ripping it. The pieces of cardboard used to go around the art were clearly ripped from a shipping box that was previously used. Which of course, would have impacted the strength and integrity it. On one side, two flaps of a box were taped together which created a natural place for the art to bend when handled or held which of course it did. The package was wrapped in paper, but had no indication/stickers/markings to handle with care or not to bend. Both lack of proper packaging and lack of signs were what ultimately cased our art to be damaged when in transit. When we contacted the owner, he immediately became defensive. Insisting he packaged things from the rooms and that using ripped shipping boxes was the “industry standard”. Anyone who has purchased art, would obviously know that is not the cause and it was insulting to say the least. He blamed Canada post, although there was no way they could have known how delicate the package was with no labels. We then found out he had not insurance this package adequately, which meant insurance only covered 1/6 of the cost of the art that was lost. When I asked for a refund for poor services he refused. When I asked for reimbursement for our pieces since his poor work caused the damage, he refused. Not only have we lost 100s of dollars, but this company also refused to acknowledge their role in it which has been even more infuriating. Do not trust this company with anything of value, and find someone who will value your pieces as much as you do.
Chris is amazing! He was very patient and stepped us through the process of choosing a frame, matching mat colours to make our little pieces pop, types of glass, etc. You could tell that he is passionate about his craft and business. He and his staff are very pleasant and polite to speak to and conduct business with. Beautiful work! Beautiful gallery! Just a wonderful experience all in all.
State of the Arts has been framing for myself and my family for many years. With the large choice of framing, I really appreciate the time they take to make sure all our needs are met.
Chris is a very pleasant and knowledgeable guy. Very helpful in helping you make choices. It's our go to place.
Has framed several pictures for my family. Excellent service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Thanks State Of The Art

An absolute must if you visit Corner Brook. A cosy welcoming bar with a friendly atmosphere. It’s a nice warm experience that gets even warmer when you sample the Ay Caramba a beer that starts off with a pleasant lager and lime type vibe but then the chilli kicks in and Wow away you go! They have plenty of less alarming brews for those of a gentler disposition
Corner Brook is a lovely cruise port. Stopped in after recommendations from others. Small, quaint place with a big heart and drinks to make me smile. I had the pain killer. If you like beer, try the beer sampler. Saw many trying and smiles on their faces. Thumbs up from me!!
No food was available at that time. Tried sampler, was expecting more options. All beer has strong notes even lager. Overall, it is a good place with great atmosphere.
Great beers. Especially liked the Nitro White Stout. Friendly server. Made an excellent recommendation to Newfound Sushi. Thank you.
Very nice little pub on the main drag in Corner Brook. The selection of craft beer is very large and you can sample before you try. The servers were very friendly and helpful and the drinks were good. The only issue is the small size and my friends cocktail wasn't the best; and he did try twice. Definitely worth a visit though!
I love this little brewery serving up excellent beer and cocktails in the heart of Corner Brook! They have an added bonus of a season outdoors deck/seating area.. which we both enjoyed! They also have plenty of seating inside as well! We opted to try the charcuterie and nachos. We really enjoyed them both, our only suggestion would be possibly adding a type of honey or jam/ red pepper jelly with the charcuterie board as we both did not like the grainy mustard that was provided. My husband said the nachos were some of the best he’s ever had! So I’d definitely recommend those!
Probably the best brewery in Corner Brook. Lots of options for craft beer (7/8 available at the time I was there) and a great variety of flavours. The atmosphere was great and had a cool vibe. Lots of cool merch for sale and board games to play if you want. Love the fact that you can order a 6 taster flight, something I’ve never seen any micro-brewery offer!
Travelling from Grand Falls-Windsor to Port aux Basques this summer and stopped in Bootleg to pick up a few that did not disappoint! Definitely will return next summer with any luck 🍀
