This is not a petting zoo - this is an invitation into Bette's "home" where you can have hands on, interactive encounters with so many of her pets. These animals are all so loved and so well cared for - most of them are running around the backyard - so no cages, just freedom. I arrived a bit early but the staff (and i cant say ebough about them - they were just amazing) were very accommodating and allowed me in before my actual tour started. Amongst many other animals, there is quite an array of types of chickens and rabbits. And it is truly a one of a kind experience with the rabbits. I cannot recommend more --- I will definitely be going back to visit Bette's pets.
We visited Farm Ventures today on the Sunshine Coast and had such a great time. My daughter especially loved the trail ride—it was the highlight of her day. She also really enjoyed holding the bunnies and chickens. The animals were calm and friendly, and the whole experience was very hands-on, which she loved. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they really helped make the experience feel relaxed, fun, and easy—especially for the kids. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals and the visitors, which made a big difference. One of the sweetest parts was that my daughter got to take home a beautiful peacock feather for her birthday. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the day feel even more special. If you’re local to the Sunshine Coast or just visiting, I definitely recommend checking this place out—especially if you’ve got kids who love animals. It’s a great way to spend some time outside, connect with nature, and make some great memories.
We had a wonderful time with our guide, Aurora. She was very thoughtful, kind, and made our first visit to the farm very enjoyable! We did a 15min pony ride for our 6 and 7 year old where we were guided partway through a beautiful trail on the property, followed by a tour of the farm and met many different animals. Bring cash or be prepared to provide e-transfer as they do not take debit or credit here. I also recommend wearing shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Thank-you Aurora for the memorable experience!
I can't rave about this place enough. My family had the best time visiting farm ventures! There are so many friendly animals that are so well taken care of. This was such an amazing experience for my 2 year old. Highly highly recommend if you haven't been before !
I absolutely loved my first horseback riding experience! My horse, Ruby, is so sweet and clearly well cared for, and the staff made me feel comfortable with their patience and guidance.
'Auntie Beth' is a very bright and accommodating host. We as a group were the last one for the day to do the horseback riding but she was still all smiles eventhough she just finished with another group before us. She really loves her horses specially 'Deci' her priced International horse champion. You can see her affection for all the animals that she have in her farm. Theres also Dustin who is very friendly and loves the horses as much. I got Rina and boy is she a hungry horse but she is really smart and she accommodates me as I accommodate her. Its a good place to ride a horse with its raw vibe and a real feel farm.
My fiancé and i went to visit the farm and see other animals such as peacocks, pig, goats, chicken and especially horses. My fiancé was a big fan of horses as he grew up with them. Beth was very accommodating, Kylie was also very informative and Dustin was very welcoming upon our arrival. All throughout the experience was very memorable.I highly recommend to friends, couples and families with children. It's a great bonding experience and best way spend quality time with loved ones.
I have known the owners for over 15 years and they have always been welcoming accepting and open to helping all people learn and connect with so many amazing animals that are very loved and well taken care of they have been providing wonderful animal experiences in our community for years with their travelling petting petting zoo and kids pony rides making any celebration a special experience I highly recommend to go for a tour and also a great place to have a birthday party

Just a fantastic park for the whole family and pets to hike and explore and really convenient to get to. The hiking trail range from easy to moderate but has amazing old growth forest scenery and charm not to mention 2 small waterfalls that are just wonderful to spend time at and explore. The extensive trail system allows you to decide how much time you want to spend in the park but you can easily spend 1/2 a day here walking all the trails in this park to take in all it has to offer. I can see why people would keep coming back to the trails at this park over and over again. If you're around this area, I'd highly recommend taking a walk thru this park.
Went to this park for the first time in a long time. Loved it. Great hikes that are fairly easy but not just flat, level trails. Great waterfall very close to the entrance to the forest. Lots of bridges over the creek. Also has a beautiful soccer field. Baseball diamonds are nice. Swings and a slide for kids. Definitely coming back.
It was a lovely easy hike with a thick lush forest. Not too busy at all. Might be a bit tricky for having a baby in stroller because of steps. You can pass through few bridges and watch streams and waterfalls. Absolutely gorgeous.
Beautiful area with good washroom. Hike was easy with a couple small waterfalls. One bridge was out of order, so we had to backtrack a bit to an earlier bridge. To cross from red to yellow trail. Was a great hike for a windy bit of rain day.
A local gem - trails are good for all ages and dogs are welcome. There are waterfalls and creeks sprinled liberally throughout so on a hot day it's a perfect place for a dip. Most trails are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. The only spot that is, is at the top of the parking lot with a brief stroll in to see the top of one of the waterfalls.
What a nice hike. Well marked trails that meander along the river and then loop back around with lots of beautiful trees along the way. There is a bit of elevation and roots along the path but overall it was an easy hike for my wife and I with our 8 month old in a carrier.
Wonderful walk! There are several short and easy trails. Well marked We took the red one. 2 kids, 2 parents and 2 grandparents and it fit for all of us. There are a lot of spots to stop and enjoy the view.
Very rewarding easy walk/hike through a beautiful moss and fern forest. The waterfalls are gorgeous and one of the paths follows the stream. Two of the bridges were under repair in March, but you can back track and take another bridge across.

We recently had our child’s birthday party here and the staff were incredible!! Straightforward to book with them via email. The day-of Rhona led our group through some quick tips at the driving range (including safety tips), providing extra clubs for kids without any. The kids were so engaged and had a great time. We moved to the clubhouse for lunch where the food and drinks were prepped and ready and the food and service staff were SO attentive and helpful. Through and through such a fab party and our kid was thrilled. Great value as well! (Side note: our child is also in the Jr. Golf program which has been great as well… the staff and volunteers really make it an accessible sport for kids to try out).
Went for lunch, beautiful patio and friendly service. Food was very poor however. The cod tacos need to be taken off the menu. Tiny pieces of batter with basically no fish and the breakfast that my mom was served looked like it was cooked 15 min before the rest of it. Hopefully just a bad day.
The pork belly was really delicious and flavorful, and the service from the staff was excellent.
I love golf but I hate being treated the way I was here. The website specifically states a seniors rate with no reference to weekend exclusions. But when I got there, "The director of golf" snapped that weekends weren’t included. When I showed him the website on my phone he said ‘ I don’t care’, it’s not weekends’. He didn’t care and would not listen. By this time it was principal of it all, not the money. I hate being mislead. Oh, and I phoned when I made the reservation and was told it was valid for the senior rate on the weekend. And interestingly enough, a week later the website was changed and "weekends excluded" were added for the senior rate. I would have booked Friday instead had I not been mislead.
The manager is untrained and unprofessional. There was an extreme conflict and the manager didn't even check in with the victim. Members seem to be their only care, so if you're a guest, good luck.
Honestly the best course to play on the sunshine coast. Carts are electric and powerful, fairways are clean, greens when I went were recently punched, sanded and grass was a bit long but other than that a great overall course.
Nice location for weddings and events. There is a large banquet room with a view of the golf course, with a huge adjoining deck where you can put up a tent to expand your banquet area.
Phoned ahead and message said they were open. Drove a long way here and they are not open. Unprofessional and not cool.

This is literally our favourite place to visit when we are on the sunshine coast. When the tide is low, it’s really nice to swim on the left side of the pier. The water is clear and pristine and it’s nice and sandy. The only downfall is that it is quite rocky with many logs that you have to climb over to get down to the area.
Been here so many times as a visitor I've lost count. Such a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the scenery. Could easily spend the day here with a nice picnic enjoying the view.
Awesome beach to take the puppies to run around. Always some fun sights to see. Check out the Roberts Creek event calendar to look for things happening here or nearby. Sunsets are pretty incredible from here. Enjoy! Sunshine Coast is awesome! 💖🌄
The place to see sunsets! A beautiful, peaceful beach in the heart of Roberts Creek where locals and tourist alike come to enjoy the sea breeze and wildlife. When the tide is out, the beach gets nice and sandy. Wind can be strong! Lots of logs to sit on and birds to watch. Fellow visitors are always friendly (you're in the Creek, after all). Outhouses on site, and just down the road from the famous Gumboot Cafe. You can meander along on either side on the beach for hours, or relax on benches on the pier. Little history placards on the pier explain how it came to be there.
There is a beautiful place, Long trails you can walk around, Beautiful painting from this city people, every picture have different story . One side you can see the beach, The other side you can see have a little river. Not too much picnic table, some mobile toilet (two are very dark inside) Little stone trail not very easy for stroller and wheelchair.
Beautiful place with a long dock that you can walk out on and sit and enjoy the sunset. I really enjoyed it here. Its popular among locals and that can be a good thing and a not so good thing... there were a number of obviously homeless people and transients in the area but none of them bothered us and we were two lone females. People were friendly and welcoming. Seems to attract an interesting crowd.
A tranquility beach with scenic views and a gravel jetty. Beach is mainly pebbles with a sandy spot at low tide. Small parking lot. A general small store nearby. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day on my visit.
It was beautiful pier and views! Easy to access by foot from bus stop! Also they have earth day every end of April! It was nice shops and music!

A lovely place. Spacious and clean campsites. No showers or running water here, just outhouses. Beach access is lovely, smooth stone and driftwood beaches, so use sandals or water shoes. Trails are also very nice!!
Beautiful campground rather spoiled by ugly trash bags taped around all the fire pits. Yes, I know there’s a fire ban currently but there’s got to be a better way to communicate that than such a waste of plastic that makes an otherwise lovely place look so depressing. I was woken up (after long days of driving I was exhausted) after nine pm by the ranger coming to collect the fee. Would’ve been nice if he had called at a more reasonable hour.
Park is well maintained during winters and park has small trials where it leads to small waterfalls. The waterfalls are so beautiful and the trials are well maintained. There’s only one bridge damaged and it is closed for access
This is my second visit to Roberts creek and enjoyed it as much as my first time . Thinking buying a house on the beach 🏖 area now .
A friendly and lovely campground. First-come, First-serve with affordable price. The washroom needs more maintenance, but it is what it is. Good size and great privacy. The kids love it. Long walk to the beach—overall great experience.
I liked the campground but didn't get to see anything else there..but pretty private spots with some nice greenery.
Stopped by for a break. Good place to picnic. Not many people at this time because of the pandemic. Nice Ricky beach within walkable distance. Hoping to come back here once everything is back to Normal
Wonderful place to walk meet like minded people and make news friendships & enjoy fresh air and much more

Good hiking experience. Trails have some water crossings, quite wet around these times. Definitely better for mountain biking than hiking, however very scenic on a clear day. Elphinstone peak is worth going to, although the view from there is somewhat limited. Difficulty of trails is easy to medium with no real need to scramble. I recommend 5-6hrs minimum to fully complete a hike to a summit of your choice. Gets to be about half as warm at the top, little sun throughout so pack warmly.
Review for Elphinstone Summit Trail: Tough hike, but worth it! The view was incredible. Altogether it took us just over 6 hours to complete, including 3 breaks and a short lunch on the summit. Steep at the beginning and end, more gradual inclines in-between. A few spots are pretty tricky, and you may have to go hand over foot. There's one rope near the summit to help you climb up the rocks. Some of the markers were hard to spot, but if you look closely enough you'll find the way. End of July and there's almost no snow left. We saw 7 other hikers during our time on the mountain, all very friendly. No signs of big animals.
Born and raised here on the Sunshine Coast and first time to hike up to the top. What an amazing view just unbelievable
While the view from the top is stellar, the trail itself is in poor condition and does not seem to be maintained. Somewhat dangerous, especially the numerous stream crossings, and not suitable for children.
Bring snacks, lots of snacks and water because you are going to burn every calorie you ate last week climbing this beautiful summit coastal hike. We were so hungry we contemplated eating our dogs kibbles... There are two ways to approach this hike. One side from Langdale, and the other from the B&K logging road via Robert's Creek. Both ways lead to a joined Y branch coming together to go up to the summit. Gorgeous trees and steep forest inclines lead to neat little levels where you can expect to see some amazing spring fed marshy ponds with adorable and unique wetland plants. You continue to weave up more steep inclines to lovely alpine type plants, shrubs, and amazing trees. Continue on to more inclines, and as you get closer to the summit, prepare for some mild rock climbing. This is just a tiny spot, and there is rope tethered if you find you need it. Once you get near to the top, you find some amazing rocky cliff that you can easily traverse that open up to stunning clear views of the Coastal area and all its small and large islands. Continue on and find the summit with lovely 360 degree views, a wooden helicopter pad, and an amazing spot to eat that packed lunch. You will see views towards Mt. Steele and Tetrahedron, plus so much more. Animals use this trail, so expect Black Bears, horse hoof prints, eagles, hawks, and cute little bunnies. Wild blueberries August & September line the walk.., much better than kibble... Don't forget to stretch first and wear good hiking footwear.
If you like hiking or mountain biking this a wonderful place for you.
Hike the Mount Eliphinstone Summit Trail. Took me and my wife 5:45mins round trip. The sign said 8hr return. We carried our 6month baby the whole way in a carrier. It’s a super steep climb and many areas of the trail are uneven. With trip wire roots and uneven rocks! Its grueling! The view is pretty amazing! Better from the first lookout has the best view of Gibson’s, the Helipad has a more Inland view. Going down was slow took pretty much just as long as going up because the the footing! After all is said and done I am super happy we did it but, once was enough for me!
This park is so beautiful! I like how it lacks the crowds of many other places on the sunshine coast and I found an amazing spot with so many golden chanterelle mushrooms! Had them cooked over the fire with the clams I dug near Roberts Creek provincial beach AMAZAZING!!
