A easy and beautiful hike. Did about 5km total with very little elevation gain. Fun boardwalks and views throughout. Lots of animals and interesting plants to look at along the way. Stunning views in the last loop
What an ABSOLUTELY beautiful place!! Easy hike and when the tide is low you can hop to all the little islands. Amazing views and you can swim too. Wish we spent the day. It has a very small parking area so get there early to avoid parking on the road. I wouldn't recommend taking smaller kids unless you want to carry them most of the way.
Great walk/hike in. Short but with wonderful rewards for hikers, birders and those that enjoy varying ecosystems. Benches along the way for bird watching/relaxing and a picnic-perfect flat rock area to enjoy the scenic cove & a snack. A must stop if you have a couple hrs to explore.
Even in the rain, this was a fun trail to explore. Coming out into the bay and seeing the surrounding tree and rock really makes me want to come back with the kayak. Incredible marsh areas to view, watch your step though.
Easy hike, amazing views at the end. We got there at low tide so we got to walk the sea floor and the views are even better than the top view point. It was a bit smokey from wildfires but can imagine the views on a clear day would phenomenal.
A beautiful trek that takes one through dense forest, steep rocks, and scenic ocean views! The trail is not toddler friendly, but can be easily done by a 5 years old. The entire trail takes about an hour by leisurely walk. Plan your lunch though because the closest restaurant is about 20 min away.
This is one of our favorite hikes on the Sunshine Coast. You are rewarded with great views at the end with varied terrain along the way. Appropriate for hikers of various skill levels. Some areas have rough terrain (exposed roots, hills that don't have groomed steps) so those with balance issues may find parts of this challenging.
We had no idea how pretty this place would be! It looked like a perfect setting for a pirate's movie. More of a walk than a hike, it starts on a boardwalk that takes you into marshes, which seem to have been created by a beaver dam. We were lucky enough to see 2 beavers that day. Then you find yourself in a lovely forest surrounded by rocky coves. We just loved every minute of our peaceful walk there!

Striking bayside park in heavily forested surrounds featuring ponds, lakes & trails.

Very chic and classy park with bays and wide beach walking area. Clean and shiny washroom with water fountain. You can see beavers dams a final works all around this park which was very amusing and actually knowledgeable for me. It is a peaceful place so please spend an hour of your time here.
Quiet & calm bay for an easy stroll, kayak, or swim. Beach is next to wetlands. There's trails to a small lake & view point. Parking lot by the beach is small or park at the upper lot. Dogs are supposed to be on leash but no one does. A huge rocky bluff with a 'Private, keep off' sign but again, no one does.
Tbh, it's hard for me to give any park in B.C. lower than a 5 star rating! They're all SO lovely. This place has a nice little pebble beach, nice views, and friendly locals.
This is amazing place to relax on a hot day. The water here is generally calm, even on the more rough of days. It can get quite busy, especially during the tourist months, but it's well worth it to come down any time. Whether it's for a relaxing swim, a nap on the beach or to watch the sunset, this place is perfect. Parking can be a little bit tight during the busy times, so plan ahead for that. The beach isn't really sandy, more rock based, and there's a lot of logs standing between the parking lot and the beach. All in all, 5 stars. You need to stop here if you're in the area.
Cozy spot to swim, paddle board, kayak, small boat, access to fishing, and trails. Has public parking and washrooms. The Bay is also home to a few seals that you can find playing close to shore and trolling for food.
The trail to triangle lake was beautiful. Well built trail through mature forest to a loop around a small lake. 6.6-7km total distance from the hwy trailhead parking. Would love to visit this park again!
Beautiful place to be! So serene. Estuary to your left, ocean to your right, and so much wildlife around you! We even spotted a swan!
Large beach area with calm water! Not usually busy so perfect place to relax and chill. Good for swimming, water sports, and beach combing. Parking and washroom nearby.

Cute little beach Bay Area with a few shady picnic tables, volleyball net. Water was fresh but worth the time here. Very quiet and pleasant place!
The place is nice but the water around is contaminated. I made a mistake and rubbed my eye after! Now, I'm on eye drops! I missed the warning signs around the place.
Stumbled upon this park while out for a drive. Really cute park that I could see being busy during the summer. Setup very well for community and scuba diver use. The bathrooms are old but very well taken care of and heated. Beach is clean and the entire area is dog friendly as long as they are leashed. Not a ton of parking but lots of picnic tables.
A cute little spot that we always stop at on the way up the sunshine coast during family vacations. There is a small boat launch and facilities if you need them.
Great little park with access to the beach and nice facilities. The island is accessible during low tide, and I was able to snorkel around the area, finding ask sorts of marine life close at hand. There are washrooms and a beach volleyball court, which conveniently works as a large sandbox!
Beautiful strip of a natural beach. Easy to park and walk around with a lot of driftwood.
Nice little park with lots of sea ducks for viewing. Picnic area and boat launch.
This place is beautiful! It's got a boat off load dock and a tiny island that you can climb onto during low tide.

Nice park. Hard to get to. Credit to The trail maintainer. The apples are edible.
I live right across from Thormanby and have camped there many times. beautiful views including Mount Baker. Like being in the wilderness but only a few minutes from civilization. The Beaver have taken over the old farm site and have created a sizeable lake. There is also a road that connects to Buccaneer Bay.
Lots of seals on the rocks and good view of the water 💦
Wonderful camping trip!

Lighthouse more like Nice House, am I right or am I right?
Could not even get access to a location from which to get an unimpeded view of the Lighthouse. Very bad. Beach access on the sunshine coast is a joke. The roads are all blocked.
Historical light station. Beutiful location
Beautiful island:)
