Gorgeous! A must see, there is nothing like it anywhere that I know of! A true natural wonder! Wear good non slip shoes. Don't bring small children or pets that are not leashed. Lots of smooth rocks that are slippery when damp. There is a possibility of falling in if they get too close to the hole and the water spons with alot of force. Not a place to have had a few drinks either. But absulutely worth stopping to see and it isnt a far walk in either.
The actual coordinates of the park are 47.9567412, -84.2688311, which is off of the highway and not in Chapleau. Interesting site to see, but may not be worth the drive if you're heading out of your way. It's more of a great stopover from Chapleau to Wawa, or a half hour drive from Wawa. The potholes are really neat, and the boulder lake was fun to hop across.
Great stop for a couple hour visit. Fun to climb the gigantic boulders, too!
It's in the middle of nowhere. Long drive if you are staying out towards Wawa. Nice and interesting geological formation. Plenty of wild blueberries growing along the trail. I only wish there was more to do in the area.
This Service Ontario is great. The customer service is speedy. The space is clean and tidy.
Very easy hike to see a very bizarre natural feature, if for some reason you find yourself near Chapleau or even Wawa I strongly recommend you stop by here
Used to go all the time as a kid and took my boys latter in life. Trails fishing and lots of sun.
Great place to take a break from driving. The landforms provide intresting swimming.
