Victoria Falls, located in Zambia, is a stunning natural wonder and one of the largest waterfalls in the world. Its dramatic cascade of water creates a spectacular sight and a mist that can be seen from miles away. The surrounding area offers beautiful scenery and various activities, including guided tours and boat rides. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking awe-inspiring natural beauty.
What a great an experience I had in this park.. The walk with the Rhinos was fantastic and I have seen a bachelor of elephants and it was the most coolest sights of my life.
Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park offers a compact but rewarding wildlife experience. While it doesn’t have big cats like lions, leopards, or cheetahs due to its size, the park is home to an impressive range of animals. Visitors can expect to see southern white rhinos, which are a major highlight, as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, baboons, impalas, crocodiles, vultures, and a wide variety of bird species. One unique feature of the park is the opportunity to get out of the vehicle and walk safely to view rhinos at close range—something not commonly offered in larger parks. Overall, Mosi-oa-Tunya is a great option for wildlife viewing, especially for those interested in diverse animal sightings in a shorter timeframe. I would highly recommend the TripAdvisor half-day Safari for this park as it’s good value.
Great National Park for a game drive right next to the Zambezi River and right next to Livingstone, Zambia. Many animals to be seen here!
Great place to visit but relatively small. Very cheap if you drive your own vehicle. A lot of the roads are tarmac. You need to hire a guide ($10) if you wish to see the rare white rhinos. A good selection of animals.
Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia offers a unique blend of wildlife and natural wonder, most famously the majestic Victoria Falls. Visitors can enjoy game drives to see elephants, giraffes, and zebras, though predators are absent. The park is compact but rich in scenic beauty, with lush landscapes and river views. Guided tours to the falls provide unforgettable photo opportunities. It’s an accessible and rewarding destination, ideal for those seeking both nature and history in one visit.
Amazing view of the other side of the Victoria Falls. I would like to encourage everyone to have a great view from Zimbabwe and Zambia
End of May is a rough time to go! Too much water to see much! And I got so wet in my full rain suit! Water got right in! Bring spare clothes and bring sandals to cross the bridge and use shoes to hike to the boiling point

Just the place to have a feel on how mighty nature is. Be prepared because there’s no chance you won’t come out dry, despite wearing a rain poncho or not. The views are incredible, although in winter the water flow is bigger so there’s less sight of some of the falls because of the mist.
Victoria Falls had less water due to summer season which made viewing better. We had less must. The helicopter ride over the falls provides excellent views.
What a beautiful place! Not very busy and lots of personal space to enjoy the fall. It was low season so the falls were not as active as other times of the year but it was great.
Great experience. Don't bother doing an organized day tour. Get a cab to the park, pay your park fees ($50 each) and either walk yourself or hire a guide for $25
What’s not to love about Victoria Falls? Great walk to all the posts. Take lots of pictures!!! Enjoy!
We were at the falls in one of the drier months. It was still breathtakingly beautiful. You move from tropics, to forest to arid rock, rainforest to scorching sun. What an experience. Victoria Falls is a very beautiful town.
God's majestic wonder. I don't understand why its no longer on the 7 wonders of the world list. Beautiful unexplainable wonder. Its breathtaking. The flora and fauna is like no other. Warthogs (Pumba) hang around like they own the place. The double rainbows 🌈, the roar of the water, the rain, the amazing views at every turn. There are about 20 view points, all amazing.
The falls are over 1.7 kilometers (5,604 ft) wide and 108 meters (355 ft) high, making them the largest water falls in the world. It is extremely picturesque and popular with tourists and locals. Best to go there early in the morning after 6am to avoid the heat of the day. You can also go in late afternoon. Entry fees are payable, waiting to enter can take 30 minutes even with advance booking. Best go with a guide. The route involves visiting 16 stations offering views from different angles and also the statue of Livingstone. The route is mostly level though there are stairs. Water sprays carried by winds can affect photography and make pathways damp. Walk carefully. There's additional activities such as bungee jumping and abseiling here.

Oh my goodness what an experience. The guy in charge was super friendly and very helpful. I even got through one my biggest fears which is snakes, by holding one. I do have to say, all snakes looked very well cared for. Their enclosures were clean and a nice terrain which suited the snakes along with lots of water and water holes, some enclosures even had fans. This is an experience which shouldn't be missed.
Walked here after the falls to kill some time after reading some good reviews. It was even better than we expected and for only $6! Abraham showed us around and was super knowledgeable. We even held some of them (bye Felicia!) and my friend fell in love with George after being terrified to hold it. The chameleon was so cute and it was fun to pick him up and watch him walk around slowly on our arms. If you need something fun to do for an hour-ish come see this place!
We received a wonderful tour by Abraham. He has a lot of knowledge about snakes and other animals. The enthusiastic way of presenting and the good interaction gives him a 5-star award for a tour guide. PS: you will get an opportunity to hold and touch a snake. Very nice place to spend 1,5-2,0 hours (adults, as well as for kids)
One of the most interesting and best things we did at victoria falls. The curator was so, friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about snakes. We'd definitely recommend to anyone nearby.
Enjoyed the guided tour and well affordable. Amazing work they are doing here with education people that come to visit. Worth doing if you have spare time to kill in between the adrenaline filled activities on offer in vic falls
Nice park, snakes look good and well treated, and the guys from the staff are great! Ps: we fell in love with Felicity the sweet little python 😍😍😍
Very interesting place, is a most! Considering that they have a lot of snakes at the area. Abraham give us a nice talk!
I'm not a big fan of zoos - however Victoria Falls Snake Park is educational, fun and absolute value for money!

What a great little market to shop at while visiting Victoria Falls! There's a great selection of local art and artists and some truly incredible artwork can be found here. The Brooks Cafe inside is a great place to grab an iced coffee while you peruse the different boutiques. There's absolutely something for everyone here and the atmosphere is excellent. Definitely check it out!
Beautiful small market. Very clean, friendly and helpfull staff. Some very interesting items on sale. Do have a look out for the Rastafarian vendor and his lovely interactive art pieces...and the stories that goes with the art. Very entertaining and worth to stand and watch for a while.
Great market that you can buy every everything and the best souvenirs from your travels. Many shops, great handmade stuff, beautiful things. Remember always ask about price in 2-3 places, because the same things can cost different money :)
Great gems 💎 of the town. It has different shops within selling Art 🎨, clothes... There are also spots for foods and drinks. It is worth a visit.
Nice place to walk with prices on steroids. The same souvenirs ( wooden animal figures) I bought in Cape Town 4 times cheaper
Great market that you can buy every everything and the best souvenirs from your travels. Many shops, great handmade stuff, beautiful things.
$$$ Overpriced. Nice shopping village with lot of nice things to consider however the high prices will make you think twice before you buy anything. There are no price tags and shop keepers will throw you a price based on what they think you could pay. I prefer the two markets on either side of this village which are more flexible in prices if you like bargaining. There is a small cafe inside for a quick drink or some refreshments.
Great spot for souvenir shopping and looking at local artist’s works!! Nice area of Victoria Falls!!!

My fiancé and I visited Tami Walker's studio during our trip to Vic Falls. What an amazing place! We purchased a the stunning place mats and bar mats as well as pillow covers for our home, along with some gifts for family and friends. The staff was not only kind, but helped us package up our belongings while on a time crunch. We are so thankful to have wandered in to this amazing spot and will be back on future trips to Vic Falls.
I purchased an A2 size canvas print of 'Graceful Gaze' a Leopard gazing from it's vantage spot, from the Victoria Falls gallery. A striking image of this iconic species and nicely printed. Very abliging service at the gallery and was delivered to New Zealand within 2 weeks of placing the order. A happy customer
Wow, wow, wow! If you want to bring home a unique and quality momento from your trip to Zimbabwe or a treasured gift for someone at home, go immediately to the Tami Walker Fine Art Gallery! They have the most stunning wildlife photography available in any size to fit your space or your budget. They have smaller items too - notebooks, coasters, placemats, etc. All at a very reasonable price for the quality of the work. But, what sets this shop apart from others is the service - no pressure, personalized, and very patient. Victor spent an hour with us as we struggled to choose what pieces to buy and at what size, as we loved them all! Ultimately, we selected 4 pieces which they will ship home for us via DHL. The gallery also offered the option to deliver to our hotel the same evening - any piece, if they didn’t have it available in the size we wanted or needed a custom size print. Thank you, Victor, for your kindness and patience to select pieces which will hang in our home and always remind us of our adventures in Africa, especially in Victoria Falls!
A lovely coffee shop with kind staff attached to the fine art gallery. Great place to grab a coffee before hopping on the Bamba tram or going to Victoria Falls.
My sister and I visited the gallery yesterday. Awsome place. Staff were so friendly and helpful. My sister who is visiting from UK bought 3 animal print cushion covers Really beautiful!
Great space, awesome photos and good coffee and juices.Lovely service.
Stunning photography. We purchased 3 pieces and they helped in the process of getting them posted home while we were travelling. Great shop and extremely helpful, friendly staff. Highly recommend
This is a lovely place where you can also get really good coffee and look at the at and photography. Tami Walker is an amazing nature photographer, and her art gallery and Café are perfect to relax.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is one of the best in Southern Africa and provides excellent services to it's valued clients. It has many beautiful views and wild animals to watch. Safety and hospitality is there with excellent menus
First time to Victoria Falls and this place was perfect! We were able to enjoy amazing views of a watering hole from our room, the restaurant and up close with the Sidhuli hide. The staff was always ready to help, very friendly and timely with correspondence in the months previous to our trip. The food was good, the cocktails well done but on the pricey end. The internet was very reliable. Our room was clean and well kept, there were mosquitos inside our net at night but this is Africa so it happens, just be mindful of keeping them closed all the way. This being our first time to Africa and in this kind of hotel we weren’t completely aware of the process of activities and how it was connected or was separate to the hotel, so a little overview would have been helpful. I loved the Vulture feed and conservation goals to help out these birds. I would recommend, while it is pricey, they do take care of you, interested in your itinerary and helpful to accommodate or recommend. Thank you for everything!
Truly incredible stay here! It was so luxurious and clean, and our room had a gorgeous view. The Lodge is in front of a watering hole which we could see from our room and the dining area. We saw so many elephants and zebras, it was incredible to see them during dinner each night. The staff were exceptional, always attentive and friendly. There were multiple staff who stood out including Dennis who took care of us the whole time. The hotel also had a regular bus service into town which we took to Victoria Falls and to take out cash. We also did a day trip safari to Botswana through the hotel which was just unforgettable. The hotel arranged us being driven to Botswana and back, as well as the safari itself. Would recommend getting the double Zimbabwe Visa on arrival if you want to do that. We spent our last day at the hotel pool with drinks and sun, and saw the vulture feeding they do. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Great hotel with the best view for sunset from the restaurant. Lovely restaurant and lounge area has a perfect view of the watering hole where you might spot many animals. You can relax with your cocktail and watch animals - great place
Beautiful. Overlooks a watering hole, so you can watch the animals during the day as they visit. Only downside is lots of steps including in the room. Maybe consider a rail for safety. Good food and attentive staff. Local shops and ATM nearby. Great base for visiting Victoria Falls.
What a place! This stay was at the start of a longer safari holiday. What a start it was. The lodge is so lovely set on a number of levels overlooking the watering hole. Our room also had the same view. All staff were extremely polite and very accommodating. The food was superb. Our room was lovely with the mosquito net put in place each evening for us. Each breakfast we stayed as long as we could, using our binoculars to spot the vultures, wart hogs, impala, waterbirds and the crocodile down at the watering hole. The hotel organised a number of trips for us. We had our own guide for our walking tour of the falls which was amazing. The guide was lovely and really knowledgeable. We also did th 'Through the eyes of an elephant' experience which we thoroughly enjoyed. The sunrise 0530 Zambezi boat trip was absolutely the best. As it was so early the river was very quiet. There were no other paying passengers on the boat with us so it felt like the boat was just for us. The sunrise we saw that morning will stay with me forever. The captain and our hostess made us feel completely welcome and the captain spent a lot of time pointing out animals (including lots of hippos) and points of interest to us. Our last experience was a visit to the Boma dinner and drum show which was fantastic. Great food and great fun. Our short visit to Victoria Falls was a brilliant start to our holiday. We would highly recommend.
Perhaps one of the best alternatives when traveling to Victoria Falls. The staff is very kind all the time. Food can improve sometimes. Only drawback is the Internet, and there wasn’t a reliable connection throughout our stay. The view from the bar/dinning area is amazing. I recommend giving it a try to the Boma dining experience.
We had the most wonderful stay at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. The lodge is rated 4 star but their service exceeds 5 star! The staff are so friendly, v welcoming and very accommodating. We stayed in the Waterhole suite which was fully equipped with everything you needed. I recommend checking with reception at check in the cost to upgrade your room we did not find it expensive at all. Vulture feeding happens at 1pm every day definitely try and join this. Boma dinner was great too definitely a must do but get there early or you will miss the whole show. Thank you to all the staff and management at VFSL for your impeccable hospitality! We will be back!
