The place to visit for a lovely sunrise, make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes before the sunrise to climb up the hill or even to get the best spot on the beach!
Absolute must see. Very exciting. Beautiful and astonishing views. But beware, there are NO toilets in the area.
This outing was very enjoyable! Make sure to wear good shoes and hike up the hill to the cross at the summit. The climb is worth it as you’ll be rewarded with a magnificent view. There isn't a designated parking area, so you'll need to park along the side of the road, but it doesn't seem to be an issue. Despite the lack of parking, the experience is well worth it, and I highly recommend making the trip.
Beautiful place. The sand is soft and the sea is rough. Watch your step into the ocean, the sand drops and the current will carry you away. The view is amazing. Love the rocks and the atmosphere!
One of the spots to visit in Guadeloupe with usually a good view of the Désirade island. An easy hike up to the cross.
Amazing views. Photos don’t do this place any justice. I’m so glad we rented a car. I can’t imagine trying to take a bus here. The waves are very strong here so I wouldn’t suggest swimming.
We didn’t rent a car. Took a bus from the small airport. Asked the diver what time the next bus will come. We really enjoyed the view. It was spectacular Waiting for 1 H for the bus. Never showed up. We walked 3H back to st.Francois marina. In the heat. Almost passed out. Overall: lesson learnt
Beautiful, great for sunset!

We visited this place three times and every time we were greeted warmly by the staff, the good vibes were followed by cold drinks and delicious food. Let’s start with best creole grilled fish we ever had, just the right spice and seasoning. We loved their cucumber salad, a unique treat for a beachside eatery. Their fish brochettes (skewers) and rice with beans were also incredible. We ordered rosé and it was perfect and affordable. Finally, they also serve great ice cream.
Beware location is wrong
(Translated by Google) This is the first beach we have been to, and so not disappointed, certainly it is not perfect and very smooth, but what a pleasure to spend the day there. Few people, easy to park, a slightly wild spot where you can admire colorful fish. We found a little place to eat (small green food truck) where everything is homemade, from the burger bread, to the breaded chicken, the fries and even the sauces!
(Translated by Google) The Plage des Raisins Clairs, especially in its western part, a little before the center of Saint-François, has all the qualities to have a good time. The water is transparent and turquoise, the beach is vast, we are not on top of each other, and there are food trucks for good, inexpensive food. What more could you ask for? It’s great and it’s in Guadeloupe!
(Translated by Google) Magnificent Raisins Clairs beach in Saint-François 🌴☀️! The place is clean, the water is clear and turquoise, and swimming is very pleasant. Ideal for relaxing, swimming, or simply enjoying the idyllic setting. A must-see beach in Guadeloupe, perfect for the whole family 🏖️💦.
(Translated by Google) Beautiful beach with golden sand, not too crowded with many places in the shade and in the sun. Clean water with sand-only spaces for comfortable bathing and rock spaces for diving with a mask. Lots of cheap kiosks to eat a sandwich.

(Translated by Google) I didn't like the beach. The busiest part has cars close to the sea. The most suitable part for swimming is the one close to street stalls with comfortable plastic tables and chairs but let's say that in the general aesthetic picture they do not make the place one of the most beautiful to look at. The whole beach that goes towards the pointe du Grand Boeuf is more beautiful but less suitable for swimming due to the seabed with rocks at different heights which make swimming a little difficult. Shoes required. The first part of this beach also has buildings right next to the palm trees and the beach and again they ruin everything a bit. Also pay attention to the numerous residues from previous nights, especially glass.

Maybe it was the time of the year, but it was super choppy, this not good for snorkeling. Beautiful beach tho…but some areas had the strong seaweed smell.
Great white beach with snorkling options. Not that crowed on the right side. No shade.
Windy, but great. No shadow
Beautiful beach with clear waters, even if there are a lot of waves
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful beach, a little shade, not many people, spot for freediving.
(Translated by Google) Large and beautiful beach Many fish Parking Easy to access Take an umbrella because there is no shade (Original) Grande et belle plage Nombreux poissons Parking Facile d’accès Prendre parasol car pas d’ombre

Nice small island casino. I stop at 9 PM. Security required politely to show passports and copied information into computer. Inside were mostly locals. All 4 or 5 tables were empty. Two of them were Blackjack. Minimum bet 5 Euro. Dealer said that she only speaksFrench. But as I find out is irreleavant if I only need to say Double or Split. Another lady - manager , was overlooking procedure. Both were friendly. I double money I exchanged in 10-15 min and left. You can exchange money through cashier or ATM. I read that policy : no shorts allowed.
Refused entry with a valid international ID (Canadian). Staff insisted on passport only — no warning on their website or at the entrance. Very unwelcoming, especially when you come prepared with proper ID used worldwide for travel, banking, and police checks. Instead of investing in a system that can scan international IDs like most casinos, they choose to turn away paying customers. Poor hospitality and outdated rules — if you’re a visitor, don’t waste your time here without your passport
Great Place! Even better when you win some money :)
Good for a Casino on an Island.

This was quite the experience! What a beautiful spot to enjoy the views and watch God put on His show of the ocean waves blasting up spectacularly over us. The kids loved it and wanted to stay long after the adults got bored. We also went over to the beach next to it and enjoyed relaxing on the sand while the kids explored the rocks and found crabs and mollusks, even a chicken wandering around. Beautiful place, worth a quick visit for sure.
Love this place! Peaceful even when full of people. I really don't mind people. The noise from the wind and waves crashing on the rocks means you barely pay attention to other people there. Peace is found primarily in one's head ;-)
It's great spot to calm down and kids to play (low tide only). The pool is just sand. The inflow of the new water is very low at low tide, so pool remains warmer at all time.
Quiet narrow beach - perfect after La Pointe des Châteaux. There is a spot on the right where you can enter the water without stones or reef
It can get pretty packed even outside of peak hours, but still worth the visit. The power of it all is truly majestic!
It’s a must visit hidden gem hundred percent.
Loved this quiet spot with a natural pool! A must to add to your list of beaches to visit on the island
Easy walk, cutest little waiting pool - great for babies and small children.
