By far the very best restaurant I’ve been to in Guadeloupe. Food is incredible good and tasty. The catch of day excellent and the shrimp ravioli is from another world. Service was kind and attentive as well. One to recommend and come back!

One of the best places we have been in Guadelopue. The staff is friendly and surprisingly fast, the meals are excellent, the owner is recommending very good wine combinations with the food. We were here twice and the only thing that could be improved is the choice of the water. Purified water should be an option rather than bringing water from oversea and selling it for 5€ per bottle, but many places still do so. The fish in passion fruit souce was really good, the Tuna tartar and the scallops carpaccio were just excellent!

One of our favorite “Must Go” every time we visit Guadeloupe! The dishes are prepared at the highest levels with an extensive well sommelied wine cellar to complement the experience. One of the Best Restaurants on the Island

I don't review many places but I must take the time to talk about this restaurant. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to go to a nice French restaurant. The server and the owner could not be any more accommodating. They were patient, kind and so helpful and understood English and spoke it well. My French is terrible but they we're so kind. The lobster ravioli is amazing. The Tuna Tataki is the best dish I've ever had in my life. I also had the frozen nougat and I can die happy. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you and we will be coming back.

My spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed an excellent French-Caribbean dinner at La Mabouya de la Bouteille recently. The atmosphere is casual yet refined, the dinner ingredients are fresh and local and the service outstanding. We were encouraged to take as much time as we wanted and never felt rushed. The chef created a vegetarian entree for my husband, which was delicious and nutritious. I had the catch of the day with a delicate sauce and delectable side dishes. There were many appetizing and skillfully prepared dishes on all the other tables, too. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want an individually prepared, inspired French-Carib dinner. The owner is especially welcoming and hospitable.

We have been here twice this month. Both times we ordered the fresh lobster. The first time the total score would be a big 5. The lobster and the service was great. So high expectations for the second time. Unfortunately the lobster was too well done on the grilled side, while the meat in the legs was still raw. We would have preferred a better side than rice with the langouste, like a gratin or vegetables. The tartare was great and better with a small touch of (very) hot chili. All in all our group had 3 bottles of wine - a red, a rose and a white - and all were fantastic. My filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection, as was my brother's duck and my wife's lobster, which she said was the best she's ever had.

We enjoyed our lunch in Le Poivrier, group of 4 adults and 2 kids. Beautiful view from the terrasse, nice atmosphere, attentive service and tasty dishes. One small downside for groups with small picky eaters, there was no kids menu.

This was French fine dining at its best. We thoroughly enjoyed every item placed before us. The grapefruit and orange-infused peppercorns greatly enhanced our meal, and the apple dessert was divine.

Our table got the Lobster Risotto and Tagliatelle and both did not disappoint. Risotto was also filling although it looked small at first glance. Cream sauce on both the Risotto and Tagliatelle were divine and I don’t normally like a heavy cream sauce. Highly recommend this place!
